Abstract

The study of the understanding or matan of hadith has become the focus of study of contemporary scholars after the discontinuity of transmission and the absence of new transmission. Unlike the classical scholars who focused on the study of the hadith, contemporary scholars discuss the meaning or content of the hadith because this is considered important to be understood and then practiced by Muslims. In the study of the meaning of hadith, many contemporary scholars contextualize hadith to bring the meaning of hadith closer to the current context. One of the Indonesian scholars of hadith who contextualized hadith is Syuhudi Ismail through his book Textual and Contextual Hadith of the Prophet by characterizing some of the traditions listed as temporal, universal and local traditions after analyzing the asbabul wurud and the existence of the 'illat of the hadith. This research uses a qualitative method, literature review by making the book by Syuhudi Ismail as the primary source and other scientific articles as secondary sources.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems that occurred at SMK Permata Negeri Garut, where the results of an interview with one of the students at SMK Permata Negeri Garut revealed that they were more enthusiastic about participating in the learning process in vocational subjects than other subjects because it involved more technology in the learning process which made them more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. This study aims to find out how much influence the use of ChatGPT has on students' learning motivation in PAI subjects in class XI TKJ SMK Permata Negeri Garut. This research is based on the idea that students' learning motivation is influenced by the use of learning media, one of which is artificial intelligence-based learning media, namely ChatGPT. On this basis, the use of appropriate learning media can increase learning motivation, and vice versa. This study uses a quantitative approach and a descriptive method, with correlation analysis techniques. The population in this study is class students at SMK Permata Negeri Garut. The sample he used was class XI TKJ as many as 36 people. The data collection method uses observation, questionnaires, and interviews. In conclusion, this study shows that the use of ChatGPT significantly affects students' motivation to learn. Although the measurable level of relationship is low, the existence of statistical significance shows that ChatGPT has the potential to improve the quality of learning. These findings make an important contribution to the literature and understanding of the use of technology in educational contexts, as well as provide a prospective view for future research development and practical implementation.

Abstract

In the modern era, advances in technology and information impact all aspects of human life, both personally and socially, including the human mind. The ease of accessing information through sophisticated technology, the rapid flow of information, and the ease of access even across continents, have led to a sense of dependency and weakened reasoning, making it easy to believe in inaccurate information or knowledge. To avoid these negative impacts, one needs to understand the origins, methods, steps, and procedures that enable the acquisition of knowledge. The purpose of this article is to understand how something becomes true knowledge, and how it aligns with human reason and logic. This study utilizes library research, utilizing library materials as the primary source. The approach employed a qualitative approach. The results show that epistemology is a specialized field of philosophy that aims to acquire knowledge about knowledge. In this case, it is knowledge derived from conscious sensory absorption, whether old or newly acquired. Scientific knowledge can be considered true when we draw correct conclusions. This inference process is called logic.

Abstract

Every parent basically wants a child who is intelligent and behaves well in his life. And a child is a mandate from Allah entrusted to his parents to be raised and educated well, taught and accustomed to goodness. But in reality, not all children can go through the development process well, several factors from the family and environment can influence their development and behavior in their lives. The purpose of the study was to determine the process of guidance of religious teachers in instilling the character of religious students at the TPQ Mushalla Nurul Jannah institution and to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors of guidance of religious teachers in instilling the character of religious students at the TPQ Mushalla Nurul Jannah institution. This study uses a type of field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the guidance of religious teachers in instilling the religious character of students at the TPQ Mushalla Nurul Jannah institution includes 5 aspects of religiosity, namely strengthening faith in Islam with tausiyah or mau'idah hasanah (belief), reciting the Qur'an and praying in congregation (worship), being sincere in worship and khusyu' in prayer (appreciation), conducting religious studies (knowledge), and emphasizing the practice of Islamic teachings which are manifested in the form of attitudes and behavior in daily life (practice). By using the methods of exemplary behavior, habituation, advice, awareness, and punishment, and carried out directly with 2 techniques, namely individual and group. The inhibiting factors of the guidance of religious teachers in instilling the religious character of students at the TPQ Mushalla Nurul Jannah institution are the lack of support from the students' guardians, the influence of friends, laziness and lack of awareness from the students themselves. Meanwhile, the supporting factor is the proximity of the students' residence to the prayer room, so that the head of the institution and the Ustadz can monitor the activities of their students at any time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the application of Cognitivism Learning Theory at SDN Cileunyi 04. A phenomenological approach was employed to explore the direct experiences of the principal, teachers, and students in implementing the curriculum. This qualitative research utilized interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's methods, including data reduction, data presentation, and continuous conclusion drawing. The findings reveal significant progress at SDN Cileunyi 04 in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, emphasizing student-centered learning and the application of Cognitivism principles. Teachers actively foster innovative teaching strategies, encouraging students to think critically, creatively, and produce tangible outcomes. However, challenges persist, such as limited teacher understanding of the curriculum's philosophy and suboptimal execution of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5). Proposed solutions include continuous teacher training, leveraging technology for learning, and collaborating with communities and stakeholders to enrich programs. These findings highlight SDN Cileunyi 04's potential to serve as a model of successful curriculum implementation aligned with national education goals.

Abstract

This study examines the relevance of Ibn Sina's educational philosophy in shaping the character of Generation Alpha. Ibn Sina's comprehensive educational thinking, including goals, curriculum, teaching methods, and the role of educators, is still relevant today. Generation Alpha, born after 2010, faces challenges in character development, often exhibiting individualistic behavior and reduced empathy due to being too immersed in digital technology. This study investigates how Ibn Sina's concepts can be integrated into character education for Generation Alpha, which aims to cultivate individuals who are intellectually and spiritually balanced. The findings aim to provide insight into educational approaches that incorporate moral and spiritual values that are essential for the character development of Generation Alpha.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the historical development of Sufi literature from its roots in the Middle East to its spread to Indonesia, tracing the transformation of Sufi expression in various literary forms. Using a historical approach and descriptive qualitative method, this study traces the transformation of Sufi literature, which is not only a medium of spirituality, but also a tool for profound aesthetic expressions. Through a content analysis of these works, this article finds that poetry and literature can be means of Sufi expression regarding mystical experience. This article found that Sufi literature not only reflects the spiritual journey but also plays an important role in shaping literary traditions and religious thought in the Islamic world in general and in Indonesia in particular. Additionally, while each literary expression is intertextual, Sufistic literature shows its own uniqueness derived from Indonesian context.

Abstract

This article examines the use of Shopee PayLater as a payment method on the Shopee e-commerce platform from the perspective of maqashid sharia in Islam. Shopee PayLater offers convenience and flexibility in online shopping by providing instant loans that allow customers to receive goods first and PayLater or through installments. There are major risks, namely the potential for uncontrolled consumer behavior, which can lead to debt accumulation. In addition, the element of usury in the installment system and late fees charged by Shopee make this feature not entirely in line with Islamic economic principles. This research method is a literature review. The type of research used is library research (Library Research) research results. Shopee PayLater offers benefits in ease of transactions, its use needs to be done carefully and with careful consideration, especially in the context of sharia law. It is important for consumers to understand the risks associated with using this feature and ensure that the actions taken are not in accordance with Islamic teachings, because there are still many disadvantages in this transaction, especially in terms of safeguarding assets (hifzul maal) and avoiding practices that are contrary to sharia.

Abstract

The problem with this research is that educators do not understand the discussion that will be conveyed to students, so a guidebook for fiqh learning tools based on problem-based learning with artificial intelligence was created. So that students can understand what the teacher conveys in the classroom learning process. This research aims to find out how the validity and practicality of media in the form of Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Fiqh Learning Tools with Artificial Intelligence Improve the Critical Thinking Skills of Madrasah Aliyah Students. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods, using the 4D development model. The research and development procedure consists of 4 stages, namely: 4D Model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Conduct trials and find out the practicality of learning videos on Zakat material in Fiqh subjects. The instruments used in this research and development are questionnaires in the form of validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques to determine research results are validity analysis and practicality analysis.

Abstract

The study is aimed to explore the challenges faced by the Muslim community today, particularly the issues of ideological and societal fragmentation in the modern era. The context of rising fundamentalism and a gradual drift from the core principles of Aqidah and Sharia. It examines the historical and ideological foundations that have shaped the perception of Islam, often linked to terrorism in global discourse, and investigates how these narratives affect unity among Muslims. The paper examines how these challenges have contributed to internal fragmentation within the ummah and the decline in religious practice among the younger generation. By focusing on the critical role of mosques as centres of both worship and community dialogue, this study argues that a revival of Islamic values can be achieved through a conscious effort to bring the youth back to the mosque. A qualitative study was conducted through a purposive sampling technique analyzed by interpretive phenomenological analysis of an interview with an Islamic scholar, Tiar Anwar Bachtiar. This study delves into themes of Aqidah (faith), unity, and community engagement, proposing practical steps for enhancing cohesion among Muslims and countering divisive narratives. The findings suggest that strengthening Aqidah through education and community interaction within mosques is essential for addressing the root causes of contemporary issues in the Muslim world. Ultimately, this paper advocates for a community-centred approach that fosters unity and spiritual rejuvenation as solutions to the pressing challenges of modernity.
