Meanwhile, based on the World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire which consists of 26 questions and covers four domains of quality of life assessment. The physical domain is 40% in the good category, 60% in the sufficient category. The psychological domain, 40% is in the very good category, 33% in the good category, 27% in the sufficient category. In the social domain, 27% were in the excellent category, 46% in the good category, and 27% in the fair category. In the environmental domain, 33% were in the excellent category, 34% in the good category, and 33% in the fair category. Overall, the findings of this study demonstrate that the traditional game model is effective in supporting the improvement of the quality of life of students with special needs in special needs schools.

Abstract

One of the efforts in the physical education learning process to improve students' abilities is through volleyball learning by learning basic passing techniques. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of the STAD and Jigsaw cooperative learning models in improving volleyball passing abilities in class VIII students of SMPN 3 Darangdan Purwakarta. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The results of the analysis showed an increase in posttest scores in the class with the STAD learning model, with an average N-Gain score of 0.760 (> 0.7) and an N-Gain percentage of 76.02%, which is classified as effective. Meanwhile, the class with the Jigsaw learning model obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.437 (< 0.7) and an N-Gain percentage of 43.69%, which is included in the fairly effective category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that both learning models have an effect on improving volleyball passing abilities, with the effectiveness of the STAD model being higher than the Jigsaw model.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a crucial element that supports student achievement in school because the body needs a healthy and balanced diet. Nutrition includes carbohydrates, proteins, and fats that provide energy, repair tissues, and protect organs. Physical fitness reflects the physical ability to perform activities efficiently and with endurance. Therefore, nutritional status and physical fitness work synergistically to help children achieve maximum learning performance and physical activity. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the nutritional status of students at SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh, (2) To determine the physical fitness level of students at SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 50 students from SMA Negeri 4 Wira Bangsa Meulaboh. Data collection techniques used tests, as follows: (1) nutritional status, and (2) physical fitness. The results of the data analysis can be summarized as follows: (1) The nutritional status test obtained an average score of 20.88 with the following details: (a) the nutritional status of male students was classified as mildly underweight 8 (67%), while (b) the nutritional status of female students was classified as mildly underweight 19 (50%), and (2) The physical fitness test obtained an average score of 16.88 with the following details: (a) the level of physical fitness in male students was classified as good 8 (67%), followed by (b) the level of physical fitness in female students was classified as moderate 30 (79%).

Abstract

In martial arts, particularly in tarung derajat, anxiety plays a crucial role in determining athlete performance. This psychological state arises as a natural response to the pressures of physical competition. While a certain level of anxiety can boost enthusiasm and competitive readiness, if not managed properly, it can hinder concentration, ability, and affect mental resilience. Therefore, managing anxiety is a crucial aspect of mental development so that athletes can perform optimally. Some athletes still experience excessive anxiety, especially as competition dates approach, which can lead to problems such as a lack of focus during performance tests, feeling the opponent is too tough, and often feeling less than optimal. Proper anxiety management will maintain emotional stability and increase the chances of success in competition. This research aims to describe the anxiety of tarung derajat athletes in Banda Aceh City ahead of the Pre PORA. This research uses descriptive methods with qualitative analysis techniques. The population includes all 20 tarung Derajat athletes in Banda Aceh City preparing for the Pre PORA. Data collection was conducted using a closed-ended questionnaire. Data processing techniques used a level and percentage categorization formula. The results showed that most athletes experienced moderate levels of anxiety (75%), while 8% experienced high anxiety and 10% were in the low category. These findings indicate that the majority of athletes experienced moderate anxiety, which is psychologically adaptive and can play a positive role in increasing competitive alertness. However, anxiety that exceeds the optimal threshold has the potential to reduce focus and performance during the 2025 Pre PORA. Therefore, managing anxiety through a psychological coaching approach is an important aspect of maintaining stable performance.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the extent to which training in short passes affects the basic technique of passing in soccer. The observation results show that the 10- to 12-year-old students at the Putra Ciledug soccer school (SSB) still frequently make mistakes when passing, which manifests itself in inaccurate passes, a lack of precision in execution, and passes that are too fast for their teammates to receive. The research method used was an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of 26 students, using a saturated sampling approach to determine the sample. The research period consisted of 12 sessions, comprising 1 pretest, 10 treatments, and 1 posttest. The data collection instrument used was the low ball passing test by Subagyo Irianto (1995), which has a validity of 0.812 and a reliability of 0.856. Data analysis was performed using a t-test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results (t_calculated = 8.705 > t_table = 1.706; p = 0.021 < 0.05) with a percentage increase of 37.69%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that training short passes with small goals has a significant impact on improving the passing accuracy of 10- to 12-year-old students at SSB Putra Ciledug.
