Abstract

The territorial waters of Riau Islands are one of the locations with a high level of vulnerability to violations in thesea in Indonesia, because this region is directly adjacent to neighboring countries and is an international tradeand shipping route. One of the roles of the Indonesian Navy is to maintain the security of national jurisdictions, including in the territorial waters of Riau Islands, which are then realized in Operation Sea Security, where theimplementation still has several constraints, namely budget constraints, technical capabilities, number of ships, limited information, and limitations supporting facilities, so that the implementation of Marine SecurityOperations is not optimal. The main reason is the placement of patrol boats during operations is not wellorganized. With these problems, a study was conducted using the set covering method to get the most optimallocation for patrol boat placement with as few ships as possible but still be able to reach the entire waters of theRiau Islands and minimize operational costs. In this study a discrete approach was taken, namely thedetermination of the critical points, which numbered 37 vulnerable points. All these points must be affordable bythe ship on duty. Keywords: Set Covering, Location Selection, Marine Security Operations, Riau Islands Waters Region

Abstract

Along with technological developments in the industrial revolution era 4.0 military technology is required to beable to adjust to the development of human resources or defense equipment. Research that has been donepreviously is that the Throttle manually changed using Throttle with DC motor drive, there are somedisadvantages caused by using a DC motor, among others, it is difficult to map the direction and speed of themotor so it is difficult to drive, the same as that used as an engine mover Stop that is by using a DC Type Motorwhile for the input system of rotary and elevation is still manually operated by the remote controller operator. From the debate that occurred the author will make modifications to the throttle system that uses a DC wipermotor in exchange for using an angle motor can be easily, for the engine Stop the same system that is initiallyusing a DC wiper motor is replaced using a servo motor so that the mapping angle of 0 degrees to 90 degreescan be easily mapped, while for elevation and rotary canon by inputting data with the camera module using thecamera sensor as for microcontroller data inputKeywords: Stop Engine, dc motor

Abstract

Refueling Stations are places where motorized vehicles can get fuel. The Refueling Station in theTNI is known as the SPBT (TNI Refueling Station) or often referred to as the gas station. SPBT generallyonly provides two types of fuel such as Premium (MT88) and diesel (HSD). This SPBT usually has a tankthat is used to hold fuel oil which will later be used for Dinas vehicles. The development of science, technology creation at this time has penetrated digital technology. Most of the technology used byhumans is completely digital. In this case it is very helpful in various aspects, for example in the industrialsector, many industrial fields have used digital technology due to human limitations and are demanded tobe fast, practical and precise. Of the several applications of digital technology, one that is needed in anindustrial field is a tool to monitor a material that is in a closed container. This technology helps officials tomonitor the amount of fuel from the field without having to open the material container when they want tofind out information about the fuel. As one example is the technology to monitor the condition of fuel oilstorage tanks in the SPBT within the Navy to find out information on the volume of fuel in the tank. Keywords: Kodiklatal SPBT, Internet Of Things (IoT) Fuel Volume Monitoring System.

Abstract

Branta Port, located in Pamekasan Madura, is a connecting port area around Java Island and Madura Island. The port has an important role in logistics and supply chain activities as well as economic development in Indonesia, especially in Java and Madura. But the reality is Branta Port has some shortcomings in the port facilities to security sector. It based on the lack of regulation enforcement of the port management itself. The lack of renewal of the port master plan is also one of the obstacles to the port's poor performance. Therefore, with this research, it is expected to obtain a broad picture of the development strategy at the Branta Port. The methods are Location Quotient (LQ) & ships loading and discharge at port forecast using several forecasting analysis. The results show the ships call, loading and discharge flow at Branta Port have a fluctuating pattern follow the seasonal trends in salt production activities in Madura region. Where in 2039 (long-term) the loading and discharge flow at Branta Port is predicted to reach 380,927 tons which in 2018 amounted to 139,855 tons. The results of the port performance calculation are performed using port performance indicators called Berth Occupancy Ratio (BOR), where the BOR value from year to year to the long-term forecasting year (2039) is 22.08%, which is still below 40% for an additional indicates that the jetty is not busy according to UNCTAD criteria. Whereas the need for port facilities such as warehouses and stacking fields has increased. The development strategy focused on port facilities such as the berth length expansion from 100m to 186m, construction of port warehouses of 183m2, improvement of several port facilities such as navigation facilities and causeways, also the addition of port waste treatment facilities. Keywords: Location Quotient, forecasting, econometric method, Berth Occupancy Ratio

Abstract

Image processing shooter-based Information System is very useful for STTAL, which has a visionto become a center for the development of defense science and technology in the field of military, maritime and reliable seas at the regional level in realizing the independence of the main weaponssystem.STTAL has the mission of organizing higher education programs to produce human resourceswith Indonesian character and personality, based on science and technology that are of high quality andrelevant to the defense needs of the military, maritime and marine departures. In carrying out its duties asan educational institution, STTAL also carries out its obligations as the Indonesian National Army. So withthat STTAL often hold short barrel or pistol shooting exercises. In a series of short barrel or pistolshooting activities, each process of recording values is still carried out visually, that is by looking directlyat the target and counting manually, so that it takes a lot of members of the shooting committee and takesa long time in recording values. We design a application of image processing information system basedshots which can be used in shooting exercises to facilitate all members in carrying out shooting exercisesat STTAL. In this application the shooter can see firsthand the value of the shot obtained so that it canconcentrate fully in carrying out a shooting exercise. In this application also makes it easy for the head ofthe shooting committee to make a report to the commander quickly and accurately, for the commander tosee first hand the results of the shooting practice and it's easy to take a decision on shooting practice. Keywords: Value Marker, Shooting, Image Process.

Abstract

The function and role of the Strategic Sealift Vessel (SSV) ship type is very important. Modifications andchanges to improve the value of efficiency will be very necessary. This efficiency value is closely related to thevalue of Ship Resistance , where if the Resistance value goes down, the value of the ship's efficiency will rise. The increase in efficiency is then expected to reduce fuel consumption and increase speed. In several studies, ways have been improved to improve the condition, one of them is by adding a Dimple to the Surface Area ofthe ship, this modification will reduce the friction Resistance that the ship will receive by reducing the WettedSurface Area that the fluid will pass at certain speeds and conditions. . This modification will be applied to theship's Bulbous Bow section. In this way it is expected to improve the value of the Resistance produced by theBulbous Bow installed in the ship, without having to carry out significant changes or modifications and changethe shipbuilding of the existing Linesplane. Furthermore, the analysis is carried out by modeling using 2D and3D CAD Software and Model Experiments using CFD Applications. After carrying out the entire process ofRunning with the CFD Software to determine the value of the Ship Resistance . The final conclusion is in theform a reduction the value of vessel Total Resistance the Running Bow section of 31.53% in the 4th variationsand Fn used is 0,341.Keywords: Boulbous Bow, CFD, Dimple, Reduction, Resistance

Abstract

One of the biggest obstacles to development progress in Eastern Indonesia is the unavailability of electricity, especially on small island islands. The potential of ocean currents is one of the most renewable sources ofenergy considering that the majority of Eastern Indonesia is the ocean and has not been utilized optimally. Thepurpose of writing this paper is to reference the calculation of ocean currents for Indonesian coastal islands thathave minimal electricity. This research method uses literature studies on the morphology of the flow velocity andwind that occurs in the Capalulu Strait and the calculation of the potential of electrical energy in the CapaluluStrait so that the results of this calculation are used as one of the renewable energy methods that are able tomeet the electricity needs of island islands. which has not been electrified in Indonesia, especially in the SulaIslands, North Maluku. Keywords: Electric Energy, Ocean Flow Turbine, Renewable Energy, Strait of Capalulu

Abstract

The Indonesian Navy is a unit of defense of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Sea mines are explosive devices placed in waters to destroy ships. Acoustics is a branch of physics that deals with all mechanical waves in liquids, gases and solids, such as vibration, sound and ultrasonic. Arduino has made microcontroller technology more accessible and easier for even novice users. Because of this, there are special functions in audio or acoustic processing techniques aimed at using Arduino. The application of acoustic signals in the military field of the Navy, in the identification of vessels caught by the microphone receiver. The movement of objects that are caught by the microphone will be analyzed to conclude the object. From the results of the sound characteristics raised by the object, it will give a different picture for different variations of the object. Processing acoustic signals using DSP will make it easier to infer the captured acoustic signal. The circuit board used is a microphone signal amplifier and signal conditioner, for processing the audio signal obtained from the microphone and to produce output data which is the result of the process using Arduino. Analog-to-digital converter (ADC) of the microcontroller works in the voltage range from 0.0 V to +3.3 V or +5.0 V. Toachieve good sampling results, that the signal peak is close to the maximum value of the ADC. Additionally, voltage amplitudes above this threshold can damage the controller input port or produce unwanted harmonics. Therefore, a signal pre-amp circuit is needed to guarantee the appropriate audio sample signal as well as to protect the system. The test results obtained from the system analyzer frequency and signal meters can be used to identify acoustic signals.
