Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu mengetahui ukuran cacahan terbaik dalam pembuatan kompos tritankos. Penelitian merupakan penelitian lapangan yang dilaksanakan di Rumah kompos Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan dan merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Perlakuan ukuran cacahan tandan kosong (K) terdiri dari K1 = ukuran cacahan tankos 1-5 cm, K2 =ukuran cacahan tankos 6-10 cm, K3 = ukuran cacahan tankos 11-15 cm, K4 = ukuran cacahan tankos 16-20 cm. Parameter pengamatan pada adalah warna, pH, kelembaban dan penyusutan berat kompos. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ukuran cacahan tandan kosong yang baik dalam pengomposan menggunakan dekomposer trichoderma sp selama 3 bulan adalah < 10 cm yang terdapat pada perlakuan K1 dan K2. Perlakuan K1 (ukuran cacahan tankos 1-5 cm) dan K2 (ukuran cacahan tankos 6-10cm) memiliki wana hitam (10YR2/1). Nilai pH K1= 6,97 dan K2 = 6,80. Penyusutan bobot terbesar terdapat pada K1 yaitu 30,82%.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to study the effect of calors plastic shade and dosage organic fertilizer and the interaction on the growth analyze of Shallots. The experiment was conducted in experiment field of Agriculture Faculty, University Muhammadiyah of Jember.The experiment was arranged in Randomized Block Design consisted of 4 x 3 factorial treatments with three replications. The first factor were 3 levels of Transparent Plastic Shelter, i.e.: clear, blue, and red. The second factor were 4 levels of compost organic fertilizer application, i.e.: 15, 20, 25 and 30 t/ha. The results showed a significant interaction between the color shade of plastic and a dose of organic fertilizer on the parameters of leaf area age 60 days after planting and leaf area index age 60 days after planting, treatment shade of blue with organic fertilizer 30 tons / ha showed the best effect on leaf area and treatment shade of blue with dosages of 25 tons / ha showed the best effect on leaf area index. Use of shade of blue give the best effect on leaf area age 60 hst and shade of red gives the best effect on the growth rate of plants. The treatment dose of organic fertilizer 25 tons / ha gives the best effect on leaf area index age of 60 days after planting, the rate of plant growth, and relative growth rate, and treatment with a dose of fertilizer 30 ton / ha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan 19 isolat cendawan endofit asal lada sebagai agens pengendali hayati. Sebagai variabel pengamatan penyakit berupa distribusi pada jaringan tanaman dan kemampuan daya hambat terhadap Septobasidium spp.&nbsp; Pengamatan juga dilakukan terhadap komponen agronomis berupa daya kecambah, panjang tunas, diameter pangkal tunas dan panjang akar. Perlakuan berupa pengujian 19 isolat cendawan endofit, unit perlakuan berisi 10 biji lada/pot yang disusun berdasarkan rancangan acak lengkap diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil&nbsp; penelitian mendapatkan 6 isolat cendawan endofit yang memiliki daya hambat kuat terhadap Septobasidium spp dan tidak menimbulkan dampak merugikan bagi tanaman berupa Gliocladium sp. Aspergillus flavus, A. niger, Fusarium spp., Trichoderma spp. dan T. harzianum. Dua isolat agens hayati tersebut Gliocladium sp. dan T, harzianum bahkan mampu memacu pertumbuhan tanaman berkisar 27-29%.

Abstract

The availability of of milk fish fries has been becoming the inbitor in supporting milk fish production. Herbal ingredients such as papaya leaf’s extract can be an alternative to improve the success rate of hatchings and reduce fry abnormalities. The research aimed to examine the effectivity of papaya leaf’s extract in increasing hatching rate, and reducing the rate of abnormalities in milkfish fries. The treatment consists of six level concentration of papaya leaf’s extract which includes 2, 4, 6, 10, 20 and 25 ml. The research resulted in the highest success rate and the lowest abnormalities occur to the tratment with 4 ml papaya leaf’s extract (89, 94±1, 61 % dan 6, 54±2, 47 %). Therefore, papaya leaf extraction can significantly help to improve the success rate and minimize milk fish fries abnormality. Keyword: milkfish, papaya leaf’s extract, hatching rates, abnormalities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate dosage of snail flour in fish feed for eel fish growth.This research was conducted in April - June 2017 which is located in Margasakti Village, Padang Jaya, North Bengkulu. The design used was Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 6 replications.The treatment tested in this study was 58 gr/kg, 59/kg, 60/kg, and 61/kg grain snack dose.Containers used in the form of tarpaulins contained 24 containers. The test fish used amounted to 6 fish/containers. Parameters observed include growth of length and weight, feed conversion, feed efficiency, and survival.The results showed that giving of snail flour with different dose significantly influence to growth of length and weight, feed conversion, and feed efficiency.While on survival has no real effect. The proper dosage of snail flour for long and heavy growth, feed conversion, feed efficiency is60 gr/kg feed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas ganja (Cannabis sativaLinn) sebagai agen anestesi Ikan Koi (Cyprinus carpioKoi). Tahapan ekstraksi ganja dan pemaparan kepada ikan uji dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Almuslim, sedangkan analisis hematologi dilakukan pada Laboratorium Patologi, Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari empat perlakuan dengan lima ulangan untuk masing-masing perlakuan. Perlakuan A (1 mL.L-1 ekstrak daun ganja), perlakuan B (1,5 mL.L-1ekstrak daun ganja), perlakuan C (2 mL.L-1ekstrak daun ganja), perlakuan D (4 mL.L-1ekstrak daun ganja). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap waktu sedatif dan waktu sadar antar perlakuan. Waktu sedatif tercepat diperoleh pada perlakuan C sedangkan waktu sedatif terlama diperoleh pada perlakuan A yaitu masing masing sebesar 13,16 ± 2,28menit dan 20,08 ± 6,30 menit. Penggunaan dosis ekstrak yang terlalu tinggi dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan tingkat konsumsi oksigen dan perubahan profil hematologi

Abstract

Many sources of raw materials which allegedly can enrich the nutrient content in the organic fertilizer. The weakness of organic fertilizer for this is the low level of nutrients contained in them.This study aims to determine the nutrient content contained in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material.This study aims to determine the nutrient content in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material. The experiment used a completely randomized design with raw materials as treatments, Livestock Waste Rabbit (LTK), Cow Manure (PKS) and Abu Straw Rice (AJP). The research concluded (a) Organic fertilizers are made from various materials raw has fulfilled SNI 19-7030-2004 about the specifications of Organic Waste Compost. (B) A combination of organic fertilizer raw materials significantly affect the nutrient content of manure. (C) Organic fertilizers expectations are: (a) Raw materials of animal wastes rabbit (LTK), (b) LTK: PKS: AJP = 6: 2: 1, (c) LTK: PKS: AJP = 2: 2: 1 and (d) LTK: PKS: AJP = 1: 2: 1.

Abstract

Peran Lembaga Pembiayaan bagi petani sangatlah penting, karena lembaga pertanian banyak mendukung kegiatan usahatani. Dalam pembangunan pertanian Indonesia merupakan negara yang mayoritas penduduknya memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai petani, dan salah satu provinsi yang penduduknya sebagian adalah petani yaitu provinsi Bengkulu. Sektor pertanian di Provinsi Bengkulu meliputi sub sektor perkebunan, tanaman pangan, perikanan, dan hortikultura. Sub sektor hortikultura ini banyak diusahakan di Provinsi Bengkulu khususnya daerah Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Kelembagaan dan petani merupakan satu struktur yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Semua usahatani sayuran yang dilakukan sejak dahulu hingga sekarang ada kaitannya dengan kelembagaan, baik kelembagaan petani, pemerintah maupun swasta.

Abstract

In Bengkulu Province, especially at Lebong Regency is one of the regions which has various potentials that support the national economy, both agriculture, plantation, fisheries, livestock and forestry potential. In agriculture, it is an area that suitable for developing various types of horticultural crops such as gerga oranges, because it is supported by loose and fertile soil conditions and also supported by altitudes ranging from 800-1000 masl. One of the gerga oranges producing areas in Lebong Regency is Rimbo Pengadang Village, Rimbo Pengadang District. Gerga oranges cultivation run by farmers is in accordance with the existing production factors, with the hope that they will get a profitable revenue for their families. This study aims to determine the revenue of oranges farming in Rimbo Pengadang Village, to determine the effect of land area, age, education, and number of family dependents on oranges farming revenue in Rimbo Pengadang Village and to know the development of gerga culture in Rimbo Pengadang Village in the last 5 years. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis tool used PD = TR - TC, where: Pd = Agricultural revenue (Rp / Ut). TR = Total revenue (Rp / Ut) and TC = Total cost (Rp / Ut). The method used to determine the efficiency of sawn oranges farming used in the formula: R / C Ratio. To examine the factors that influence agricultural revenue, multiple linear analysis was used, with the following formula: From the results of the study, it is known that the average revenue of the orange saw farming business is Rp. 59.759.158,52 per year / UT. With an average revenue of Rp. 80.425.000 per year / UT. For Gerga oranges farming activities, the average cost is Rp. 20.665.841,48 per year / UT. And it found that of the 4 independent variables tested, the land area has a significant effect on revenue with t table> t count, amounting to 2,394. Meanwhile, if the F test carried out together, then the fcount <ftabel was obtained, then Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected. Means together with independent veriabel there was no significant effect on the dependent variable in the revenue case. Keywords; Farmer Business, Gerga oranges, Rimbo Pengadang
