Abstract

Rendahnya literasi numerasi siswa mendorong perlunya pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Gimkit terhadap literasi numerasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest pada 30 siswa kelas VIII A MTs Banii Saalim Lampung Selatan, yang dipilih secara purposive. Dalam Uji Statistik Deskriptif didapatkan nilai minimum dan maksimum pada pretest dan posttes. Lalu dilakukan Uji Pra-syarat yang berupa Uji Normalitas. Karena data tidak normal, uji non-parametrik berupa Uji Wilcoxon digunakan untuk menganalisisnya. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (Z = −4.826; r = 0.881) sehingga Gimkit terbukti efektif meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa serta mendukung pembelajaran yang menyenangkan di era kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of interference that often occurs in foreign students studying Indonesian. Interference is one of the errors in language. This study aims to identify the forms of interference that appear in speech and the factors behind it. This study uses a qualitative approach with the Free Listening and Speaking (SBLC) method and open interviews with students and lecturers. The data in this study are recordings of student speech in a Speaking skills class which are analyzed using the agih method to identify the form of interference and the matching method to analyze the factors behind it. The results of the study show two forms of interference that appear in student speech in Speaking skills class, namely phonological and lexical forms. Phonological forms are divided into three categories: phoneme reduction, phoneme changes, and phoneme addition. The lexical form occurs when two languages ​​are mixed in one sentence, namely Indonesian, English, and Hindi. The factors underlying the occurrence of interference are the influence of the first language, especially on phonological forms, and the similarity of vocabulary between the students' first language and Indonesian.

Abstract

Freedom of expression is one of the main pillars in the enforcement of civil and political rights as stipulated in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This article aims to analyze in depth the relationship between civil and political rights and freedom of expression on social media, as well as the legal limits on hate speech. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature review of national legislation, international human rights instruments, and the results of research and reports from relevant institutions. The results of the study show that freedom of expression in Indonesia still faces a dilemma between the protection of individual rights and the enforcement of social order. The ITE Law, National Police Chief Regulation No. 8 of 2013, and articles of the Criminal Code have become the legal basis for prosecuting hate speech, but their implementation often raises interpretative issues that have the potential to limit the space for digital democracy. Therefore, a balanced approach is needed through strengthening digital literacy, education on social media ethics, and reformulating legal policies that emphasize the distinction between constructive criticism and hate speech. These efforts are expected to create a democratic, civilized digital ecosystem that respects human rights within the framework of civil and political rights

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the readiness of teacher human resources in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum using a SWOT Analysis approach. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, structured observations, and document analysis across several schools that have adopted the curriculum. The findings reveal that teachers possess notable strengths in professional motivation, pedagogical experience, and collaborative practices. However, significant weaknesses were identified in digital literacy, differentiated instruction, and the application of formative assessment. Externally, substantial opportunities arise from government policy support, digital learning platforms, and expanding professional learning communities, while threats include technological disparities, resistance to change, and administrative workload. The SWOT Analysis provides a strategic mapping indicating that teacher capacity-building should focus on enhancing digital competence, strengthening pedagogical mentoring, and leveraging external opportunities. This study concludes that the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum depends on the synergy between teachers’ internal readiness and sustainable external support mechanisms.

Abstract

The Teaching Practice Program (PPL) is an essential stage in developing pre-service teachers’ professional competence. This study aims to describe the challenges faced by students of the Arabic Language Education Department of IAI AL-AZIS during their PPL at Ma’had Al-Zaytun Islamic Senior High School and to explore the strategies they used to overcome them. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using data derived from student reports, field observations, and reflections. The results indicate that the main challenges include classroom management, limited preparation time, adaptation to the school environment, and choosing appropriate Arabic teaching methods. The strategies adopted involved collaboration with supervising teachers, creative use of instructional media, reflective practice, and implementation of hiwār and istimā‘ methods. The PPL experience was proven to be an effective medium to develop students’ pedagogical, professional, and social competence as future Arabic language teachers.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of reward as an educational quality management instrument in improving teacher performance and student achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jepara. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the madrasah principal, vice principal for student affairs, homeroom teachers, madrasah committee, teachers, and students, as well as documentation study of scholarships from 2023-2025. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman model encompasses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with source and method triangulation to ensure data validity. Research findings indicate that the reward system at MAN 1 Jepara is consistently implemented with substantial fund allocation reaching 120-136 million rupiah annually for teachers and students. The system's excellence lies in comprehensive criteria integrating academic achievement, attitude, discipline, participation, and socio-economic conditions. The reward system is integrated with the Internal Quality Assurance System through PPEPP cycle involving all stakeholders in transparent and accountable processes. Positive impacts include increased teacher intrinsic motivation to innovate in teaching and professionalism, as well as enhanced student learning motivation, discipline, and active participation. The reward system contributes to madrasah quality culture formation through collective spirit, healthy competition, and shared commitment to achieving excellence standards. The research recommends developing structured assessment instruments, funding diversification, continuous character development, and integrated management information systems to optimize reward impact on educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and functions of cultural values found in the folktales Medang Pulang and Bukit Ampan from Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan, as well as their relevance to Indonesian language learning at the senior high school level. The background of this research is based on the importance of preserving oral literature as an intangible cultural heritage that contains noble values and reflects the worldview of the community. This study employs a literary anthropology approach with a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through interviews, recordings, and text documentation, which were then analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Medang Pulang and Bukit Ampan folktales contain three main forms of cultural values. First, the cultural value of human relations with God, reflected through prayers, sacrifices, and gratitude to God for the gift of life and safety. Second, the cultural value of human relations with nature, evident in the community’s perspective that views nature as a source of life and ecological balance. Third, the cultural value of human relations with society, reflected through the spirit of mutual cooperation, solidarity, deliberation, and social empathy. In addition, these two folktales are relevant to Indonesian language learning, particularly in the chapter “Exploring Values in Stories Across Time,” as they can serve as a medium for character education, cultural identity reinforcement, and the preservation of local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul ajar berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Modul tersebut disusun untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi teks narasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap, yaitu (1) analisis kebutuhan (analysis), (2) perancangan produk awal atau rancangan modul ajar (design), (3) pengembangan modul ajar (development), (4) penerapan atau uji coba media (implementation), serta (5) evaluasi produk (evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil validasi memperlihatkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,67% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Dengan demikian, modul ajar berdiferensiasi yang dikembangkan dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to analyze the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based personalized learning in shifting the traditional education model towards student-centered 21st-century learning. The core problem addressed in this study is the failure of traditional education models to accommodate the diverse learning styles, speeds, and needs of students. This failure hinders the crucial development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and students' personalized potential.The methodology employed is a systematic literature review, focusing on the principles and applications of AI in education, specifically on the implementation of adaptive learning systems, predictive diagnostics, and AI-based intelligent content curation.Key findings indicate that AI facilitates deep personalization, which was previously unattainable by human instructors alone. AI systems facilitate profound personalization through three main mechanisms: real-time diagnostics and targeted interventions, automatic curriculum adjustment to ensure competency mastery, and the fostering of student autonomy. The integration of AI effectively optimizes the role of teachers to focus on mentorship, while also fostering students' independence and ownership over their learning process.Thus, AI-based personalized learning is a crucial structural element for achieving modern educational goals, ensuring that every student can maximize their competencies. This study concludes that AI-powered personalized learning is not merely a technological enhancement but an essential structural component required to actualize the goals of modern, student-centered 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study examines the integrative model of Islamic religious education in shaping the socially aware character of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in a multi-site study in the Pesawaran – Lampung region, specifically at MTS Unwanul Falah Punduh Pedada. The background of this study is the concerning phenomenon of declining empathy and social awareness among students, which is characterized by neglectful attitudes, lack of respect for teachers, and minimal participation in social activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the integration of Islamic values ​​in religious education can shape students’ social sensitivity, including the stages of transformation, transaction, and trans-internalization of values. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Key informants in this study include the Principal of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, PAI teachers (Akidah, Fiqh, Al-Qur'an Hadith, SKI), Administrative staff, and eighth grade students at MTs Unwanul Falah Punduh Pedada. This research will also be expanded with a multi-site study in the Pesawaran region to obtain a more comprehensive picture. Initial research results indicate that the internalization of Islamic values ​​at MTs Unwanul Falah has progressed through three important stages: value transformation, where teachers instill Islamic teachings through role models and inspirational stories; value transactions, which create two-way interactions to foster empathy and social responsibility; and value transinternalization, where Islamic values ​​have become an integral part of students' personalities, encouraging independence and a sense of doing good without coercion. This confirms that Islamic religious education has great potential in shaping students' socially conscious character.
