Abstract

This study aims to find out how the impact of physical fitness status on the achievement of PJOK learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 2 Muncar. This study used quantitative design and a correlational approach, involving 32 students in grade IX. Students’ physical abilities are measured using the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI), and the fitness data is used as an indicator that has the potential to affect student participation and learning effectiveness, with learning outcomes represented through report card scores. The data analysis technique used Pearson Product Moment correlation and simple linear regression. The results of data processing were obtained from the physical fitness status category of 32 students as follows: (1) very good physical fitness status (0), (2) good physical status (0), (3) moderate physical status 14 students (44%), (4) poor physical status 18 students (56%), and (5) less than once (0), with an average of 57.94 and a standard deviation of 5.86. The percentage of PJOK learning outcomes from 32 students were: (1) excellent learning outcomes 6 students (19%), (2) good outcomes 14 students (44%), (3) moderate outcomes 12 students (37%), (4) poor learning outcomes (0), with an average of 78.34 and a standard deviation of 4.87. The R-value calculated as 0.62 with a significance value of p = 0.001 (p < 0.05), shows a positive and significant relationship. Physical fitness status contributed 38% to student learning outcomes, while the other 62% was influenced by other factors outside the study variables.

Abstract

The importance of the integration between Content Standards and Graduate Competency Standards plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of learning in schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of Content Standards and Graduate Competency Standards at SMP Negeri 1 Dawan. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation studies, and literature reviews, and were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of Content Standards has been carried out through the organization of intracurricular, co-curricular, extracurricular, local content, and inclusive programs. The implementation of Graduate Competency Standards is reflected in character development, the improvement of literacy and numeracy skills, as well as academic and non-academic evaluations. Both standards demonstrate a strong interrelationship in supporting the holistic development of students’ competencies. However, further optimization is still required through improving teacher competence, conducting periodic curriculum evaluations, and implementing differentiated learning.

Abstract

This study originates from the need to provide digital-based learning resources in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) integrated with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. The primary aim of this research is to design and develop an electronic PBL-oriented LKPD on the topic of three-dimensional geometry for fifth-grade elementary school students, which meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness as a teaching medium. The research employed the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects of the study were fifth-grade students, with data collected through expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response surveys, as well as learning outcome assessments. Validation results indicated that the material component achieved 72.5% (valid), the media aspect reached 90% (highly valid), and the language aspect scored 96.87% (valid category). Practicality testing with teachers produced 85.5% (highly practical), while student responses reached 86.57% (highly practical). Effectiveness testing showed a score of 94.66% (effective category). Overall, the findings demonstrate that the PBL-based electronic LKPD on three-dimensional geometry for fifth-grade students was successfully developed and fulfilled the standards of validity, practicality, and effectiveness as a learning medium.

Abstract

Background: The use of interactive learning media is important in improving students’ understanding, especially in IPAS learning that contains abstract concepts such as energy transformation. At SD Negeri 040470 Lingga Julu, several students still had difficulty understanding IPAS material through conventional teaching methods. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of using interactive video learning media on the IPAS learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 040470 Lingga Julu . Methods: This study used a quantitative, quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sample consisted of 30 fourth-grade students, divided into an experimental class of 15 and a control class of 15. The experimental class learned using interactive video media, while the control class learned through conventional teaching. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 valid and reliable items. The data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, and an independent-samples t-test in SPSS version 22. Results: The experimental class's average score increased from 56.33 in the pretest to 92.67 in the posttest. Meanwhile, the control class obtained an average posttest score of 79.40. The independent-samples t-test showed a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. Conclusion: Interactive video learning media had a significant positive effect on students’ IPAS learning outcomes. This media helped students understand energy transformation material more effectively than conventional teaching methods.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) To analyze the skills of writing news texts using the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by TikTok social media in class VII students of MTs Negeri 2 Simalungun. (2) To analyze the skills of writing news texts using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by TikTok social media in class VII students of MTs Negeri 2 Simalungun. (3) To analyze the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by TikTok social media on the skills of writing news texts in class VII students of MTs Negeri 2 Simalungun. In this study, the research method used is an experimental method with the research design used in this study, namely Two Group Post Test Design. This study involved all class VII students of MTs 2 Simalungun, totaling 196 people with a sample of 64 people divided into two classes, namely class VII4 as a control class with a total of 32 students and class VII-3 as an experimental class with a total of 32 students. The instruments used in the study included the appropriateness of the news headline, news text structure, news text elements, sentence/spelling and punctuation accuracy, word choice, use of standard words, use of direct sentences, temporal conjunctions, adverbs, and subordinate verbs. Data analysis techniques used in the study included requirements analysis tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that news text writing skills using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by TikTok social media had a significant impact, as evidenced by the calculated t value (5,771) > t table (1.697), indicating a significant influence on the news text writing skills of seventh-grade students at MTsN 2 Simalungun.

Abstract

This theoretical study addresses the persistently low science literacy among Indonesian elementary students, particularly the tendency to teach complex ecosystem concepts through rote memorization rather than systemic understanding. The research aims to theoretically analyze how the syntax of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) strengthens science literacy in fifth-grade students. Employing a systematic literature review and qualitative content analysis, this study synthesizes peer-reviewed journals, pedagogical references, and official curriculum documents published between 2019 and 2024. The findings reveal a systematic alignment between PjBL phases and OECD-PISA science literacy indicators: formulating essential questions enhances the ability to explain scientific phenomena, project planning develops competency in designing scientific inquiry, and process monitoring cultivates critical data interpretation. Concrete, context-driven projects function as cognitive bridges that enable students in the concrete-operational stage to construct systemic ecosystem understanding through authentic investigation. The synthesis confirms that PjBL theoretically transforms passive content retention into active scientific reasoning, provided structured scaffolding and authentic environmental problems are maintained. This conceptual blueprint offers a foundation for educators and researchers to design inquiry-oriented ecosystem learning that moves beyond craft-making. Future empirical validation through field studies is recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the implementation of an open systems approach and process-based management in transforming educational bureaucracy toward sustainable quality improvement. The background of this research is rooted in the condition of education management in Indonesia, which remains partial, poorly integrated, bureaucratic, and less adaptive to dynamic changes. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using literature analysis and conceptual review of Total Quality Management (TQM), systems theory, and educational bureaucratic reform. The findings indicate that the open systems approach enables educational institutions to interact dynamically with their environment through integrated mechanisms of input, process, output, and feedback. The implementation of process-based management using tools such as SIPOC and the PDCA cycle has been shown to improve operational efficiency, reduce organizational fragmentation, and strengthen data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, the transformation of bureaucracy from a traditional model to an organic-adaptive model is a key factor in fostering innovative, collaborative, and responsive educational organizations that meet stakeholders’ needs. This systemic integration is further reinforced by the application of quality assurance standards such as Internal Quality Assurance Systems (SPMI) and ISO 9001:2015, which ensure consistency in educational service quality. Therefore, this study confirms that integrating an open systems approach with process-based management is an effective strategy for reforming educational bureaucracy and enhancing service quality in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the high incidence of student violations of school rules, particularly tardiness, despite the existence of a disciplinary guidance system in schools. This issue indicates that the current guidance has not been fully effective in fostering students’ awareness and responsibility. This study aims to develop a more effective student discipline guidance model through a Preventive-Collaborative Reflective-Based approach (PDPR). The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with stages including needs analysis, design, development, expert validation, and limited trials. The research subjects consisted of 17 tenth-grade students. The instruments used included questionnaires, interviews, expert validation sheets, and student violation reflection sheets. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques in the form of percentages and qualitative analysis through the categorization of students’ reflection results. The results showed that the most dominant violation was tardiness, with a percentage of 76.5%, which was mostly caused by internal student factors. Expert validation results indicated that the PDPR model achieved a feasibility level of 95.62%, categorized as highly feasible. The limited trial showed that students were able to identify violations, understand their causes and impacts, and formulate improvements, particularly in time management aspects. The PDPR model is considered capable of supporting discipline guidance that is more educational, preventive, and oriented toward students’ reflective awareness.

Abstract

Outing class is a fun teaching and learning activity. This learning activity can be said to be fun because playing is voluntary and creates a sense of enjoyment for students. Through play, learning activities that initially felt boring for students transform into enjoyable learning activities through play. Teaching and learning activities are not conducted indoors as is usually the case, but rather outdoors. This activity brings students closer to their environment. This research used a quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. The population consisted of five classes, and sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The sample was class XE 2 of SMAN 7 SMAN 7 BONE, with 26 students. Data collection techniques used in this study included providing pre- and post-test sheets to assess students' conceptual understanding and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the outing class method has an effect on students' environmental awareness. Data management showed that the average pre-test score was 62 and the average post-test score was 84.42. The SPSS analysis results show a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the use of the outing class method as a learning resource is effective in improving students' environmental awareness. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh transformasi dakwah Islam di era media sosial, khususnya melalui TikTok, yang mendorong penyampaian pesan menjadi lebih ringkas, visual, dan interaktif. Studi ini membandingkan gaya dakwah fikih Ustadz Adi Hidayat dan Ustadz Hanan Attaki serta implikasinya terhadap penerimaan generasi milenial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap terhadap konten TikTok dari akun terkait. Sumber data primer diperoleh dari video dakwah melalui akun @ustadzadihidayaatt dan @Ayah Amanah serta didukung sumber sekunder seperti buku dan jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ustadz Adi Hidayat menggunakan pendekatan sistematis, argumentatif, dan berbasis dalil kuat, sehingga bersifat akademik dan otoritatif. Sebaliknya, Ustadz Hanan Attaki mengedepankan pendekatan naratif-emosional, komunikatif, dan kontekstual yang dekat dengan kehidupan milenial. Keduanya sama-sama memanfaatkan media digital dan menyampaikan materi aplikatif, namun berbeda dalam gaya, bahasa, landasan materi, dan segmentasi audiens. Pendekatan ilmiah lebih efektif bagi audiens yang menginginkan kedalaman dalil, sedangkan pendekatan emosional lebih mudah diterima oleh audiens yang membutuhkan kedekatan psikologis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberagaman gaya dakwah di TikTok tidak bersifat kontradiktif, melainkan saling melengkapi dalam menjangkau segmentasi audiens yang berbeda. Variasi pendekatan tersebut memperkaya praktik dakwah digital dan menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas penyampaian pesan fikih sangat dipengaruhi oleh strategi komunikasi yang selaras dengan karakteristik generasi milenial. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan model dakwah Islam yang adaptif, kontekstual, dan responsif terhadap dinamika media sosial.
