Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, employee competence, and facilities on public satisfaction at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Semarang City. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative method. The sample consisted of 96 respondents selected through random sampling. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination using SPSS. The results showed that partially service quality had a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction with a regression coefficient of 0.437 and significance value of 0.000, employee competence had a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.164 and significance value of 0.011, and facilities had a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.293 and significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, these variables significantly affected public satisfaction with an F-value of 41.924 and significance value of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.564 indicates that 56.4% of the variation in public satisfaction is explained by the model. Service quality was found to be the most dominant variable affecting public satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of improving service quality, employee competence, and facilities to enhance public satisfaction in public services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of academic advisor guidance on student satisfaction in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Tribuana Kalabahi University in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample size was 113 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used simple linear regression. The results showed that academic advisor guidance had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 38.4%. Descriptively, academic advisor guidance and student satisfaction were in the good category, although there were still weaknesses in the aspects of time availability and service accessibility. This study concludes that improving the quality of responsive and student-oriented academic advisory services is crucial in increasing student satisfaction.

Abstract

This study addresses the low writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in composing short stories in Indonesian learning. The research aims to determine the effect of the Guided Writing method assisted by image media on students’ short story writing skills. This study employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of third-grade elementary school students, with samples divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through writing test and observation sheets, then analyzed using statistical techniques to measure the significance of differences between groups. The result showed that the implementation of the Guided Writing method with image media had a positive and significant effect on students’ writing skills. Students in the experimental class demonstrated better improvement in organizing ideas, developing story elements, and using appropriate language compared to those in the control class. The findings indicate that structured guidance through pre-writing, writing, and post-writing stages, supported by visual stimuli, effectively enhances students’ ability to express ideas in written from. Therefore, the Guided Writing method assisted by image media can be recommended as an effective instructional strategy to improve short story writing skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the School Field Introduction Program II (PLP II) in developing the professional competence of students in Indonesian Language Education, English Language Education, and Economic Education as prospective teachers. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects consisted of PLP II students from the three study programs. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that PLP II significantly contributes to the improvement of students’ professional competence, including lesson planning, teaching implementation, and evaluation skills. Language education students demonstrated improvement in communication, literacy, and the use of communicative approaches, while economic education students showed enhanced ability in contextual analysis and simplifying economic concepts. However, several challenges were identified, including limited practice time, variations in mentoring quality, and differing levels of student readiness. In conclusion, PLP II is an effective program in developing the professional competence of prospective teachers through direct field experience, although further optimization is still needed.

Abstract

Self injurious behavior (SIB) is one of the most critical behavioral challenges in children autism spectrum disorder (ASD), affecting their safety, social participation, and academic outcomes. This study combines a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA framework with bibliometric analysis to examine the effectiveness, types, and success factors of modeling techniques in reducing SIB among children with autism. A bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix was conducted on 257 documents from 171 sources spanning 2016-2026, drawn from the Scopus database. After rigorous PRISMA screening, 11 studies were included in the final synthesis. Bibliometric findings reveal that the USA dominates research output, and key themes cluster around autism spectrum disorder, behavioral intervention, and video modeling. The annual scientific production shows a peak around 2023-2024, with a slight decline in 2025-2026. SLR findings confirm that video modeling and video self modeling are the most effective techniques for reducing SIB. Success factors include functional behavior assessment, parental involvement, technology accessibility, and psychosocial environment quality. These findings provide an evidence-based foundation for developing adaptive, technology assisted behavioral interventions in special and inclusive education settings.

Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon of linguistic diversity among migrant students, which influences language use in daily interactions within the campus environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the language variations and language types used by migrant students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, class of 2022, at Universitas PGRI Kalimantan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, recording, note-taking, and documentation of students’ utterances. The data were analyzed based on sociolinguistic theories of language variation and language types. The results show that the language variations found include variations based on speakers (dialect and idiolect), usage (register), formality (formal, casual, and consultative styles), and medium (spoken and written language). The most dominant variation is the Banjar dialect, which is widely used in informal communication among students. Meanwhile, the types of language identified include sociological aspects, language attitude, language acquisition, and the function of language as a lingua franca. Banjar language functions as a regional lingua franca in social interactions, while Indonesian is used in formal academic contexts. This study concludes that migrant students demonstrate strong linguistic adaptability by utilizing various language variations and types according to communicative contexts and needs. It also highlights the role of regional languages as both identity markers and effective tools for social communication within the campus environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with Deep Learning and STEAM approaches based on ethnomathematics in improving fifth-grade students’ reflective thinking skills on fraction material at SDN Kebraon 1 Surabaya. This research used a descriptive quantitative approach with pretest–posttest and student response questionnaires. The results showed a significant improvement in reflective thinking skills, indicated by moderate to high N-Gain scores. Students also gave positive responses, showing increased activeness, motivation, and better understanding of fraction concepts. Thus, this integrated approach is effective in creating meaningful and contextual learning.

Abstract

The development of digital culture has brought significant changes to patterns of interaction, ways of thinking, and the formation of students’ character, particularly at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. On one hand, digitalization provides easier access to information; on the other hand, it presents challenges such as moral degradation, low digital literacy, and increased exposure to negative content. This study aims to analyze the roles and strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in internalizing Islamic morals amid digital culture, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine students’ behavioral manifestations as outcomes of this internalization process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that PAI teachers act as agents of digital moral transformation through strategies such as role modeling, habituation, integration of values in contextual learning, and strengthening Islamic digital literacy. Supporting factors include a religious school culture and institutional policy support, while inhibiting factors involve students’ low digital literacy, limited digital competence among teachers, and external environmental influences. The internalization of Islamic morals is reflected in the increasing awareness of students’ digital ethics, although it remains partial and gradual. This study underscores the importance of integrating moral education with digital literacy as an adaptive approach to addressing educational challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This research intends to evaluate how the Merdeka of curriculum is applied inside the Islamic faith Educations lesson at SMP Negeri 2 Jombang and its effects on the academic performance of seventh grade students the study’s empharish is on the lesson plans crafted by educations, the progression in students’ academic achievements, and how the curriculum aids andhancing the quality of education. A qualitative method with a case study framework is used for this research. Data was gathered via obsevasion, detailed interviews and document reviews. The analisis involved reducing data, presenting it, and drawing conclusions, while the credibility of the findings was guaranteed through varied source comparisons. The findings demonstrate how the Merdeka Curriculum is being used in Islamic Religious Education involves linked phases of planning, delivery, and assessment. This application supports the growth of students' learning results across cognitive, emotional, and physical areas. Additionally, learning opportunities that include discussion, presentations, and hands-on activities improve students' comprehension, confidence, communication abilities, and teamwork. Consequently, implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at this institution fosters a more engaging, relevant, and student-focused method for Islamic Religious Education that meets the needs of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model Think Talk Write on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education (PPKn) at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City, using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The sample consisted of 48 students, including 21 students in the experimental class and 27 students in the control class. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed an improvement in learning outcomes in both groups, with a more significant increase in the experimental class (mean score from 70.00 to 88.00; mastery from 48% to 100%) compared to the control class (58.00 to 75.00; mastery from 11% to 37%), and the implementation of the model was categorized as high (86%). Hypothesis testing revealed a significance value of 0.002 (< 0.05) and a t-value of 3.338 > 2.012, indicating that the Think Talk Write model has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes, while also enhancing students’ understanding and active participation in the learning process.
