Abstract

This study aims to review artistic creation and movement from the perspectives of aesthetics and creativity using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The review analyzed relevant studies published between 2019 and 2025 through the PRISMA framework. The findings identified four main themes: movement as aesthetic expression, creativity in artistic creation, the contribution of movement arts to individual development, and the integration of aesthetics and creativity in arts education. The results show that movement serves not only as physical activity but also as a medium for artistic expression. Creativity supports the development of innovative and meaningful artistic works, while movement arts contribute to cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The study concludes that aesthetics and creativity are essential foundations in artistic creation and movement-based arts

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of cultural and civic literacy among fourth- grade students at SD Negeri sukomulyo. This condition was reflected in students’ limited understanding of Indonesia’s socio-cultural diversity, low interest in learning Pancasila Education, and the lack of innovative learning media used in the classroom. To address these issues, the researcher implemented Pancaman (Papan Tancap Tepat Keberagaman/Diversity Pin Board), an interactive visual learning medium designed to help students understand various aspects of Indonesian cultural diversity in a concrete and engaging manner. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Pancaman learning media in improving students’ cultural and civic literacy. This research employed a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The population consisted of 35 fourth-grade students at SD, while the sample comprised 16 students selected through a cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS version 18. The findings revealed that the use of Pancaman learning media had a significant positive effect on students’ cultural and civic literacy. The average post-test score reached 84.38, which was higher than the pre- test score. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.0022, which was lower than 0.05 (0.0022 < 0.05). Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. These results indicate that PANCAMAN learning media is effective in improving the cultural and civic literacy of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education at SD Negeri Sukomulyo.

Abstract

This research and development (R&D) study aimed to produce a Smart Card learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) on the Human Skeleton topic for Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 34 Padang. The development model employed was the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) proposed by Thiagarajan et al. (1974). The Smart Card integrates text, images, 3D animations, and narrated audio to provide an engaging, student-centered learning experience. Validity assessment was conducted by one subject matter expert (content validity 94.12%, Very Valid) and two media experts (media validity 98.67%, both Very Valid). Practicality testing involving 29 Grade VIII students yielded an overall score of 93.79% (Very Practical). These results demonstrate that the Smart Card based on Augmented Reality developed is both valid and practical for use in science learning, particularly for improving students' understanding of the human skeletal system.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Canva-assisted digital module for learning Indonesian language on the topics of prefixes ter- and conjunctions for fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Kedungwaru, TulungagungRegency. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects were 30 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The instruments included material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the digital module obtained a media expert validation score of 97.22% and a material expert validation score of 95%, both categorized as very valid. Small-group trials achieved 85%, teacher responses reached 97.5%, and field trials reached 92.8%, all categorized as very practical. Therefore, the Canva-assisted digital module is feasible and effective for Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the deep learning approach, as well as its impact on learning outcomes in geography classes for Grade XI students at SMAN 8 Padang. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 33 students from class XI F1 selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected using learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest) and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, N-Gain analysis, an analysis of learning indicator achievement, and a paired sample t-test. The results indicate that student learning outcomes were initially low but improved following the implementation of the deep learning approach; this improvement was evidenced by an increase in the number of students achieving mastery (from 9 to 24), an N-Gain score of 0.761 (categorized as high and effective), and high achievement levels across all learning indicators although the indicators regarding concepts and environmental management showed the lowest percentages. The paired sample t-test yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of < 0.001, indicating a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the deep learning approach. Thus, the implementation of the deep learning approach has a positive effect on improving student learning outcomes in geography.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of tourist facilities on tourist satisfaction at Talaga Bodas Garut. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. A total of 30 tourists were involved as respondents. The test results show that tourist facilities have a positive and significant influence on tourist satisfaction, but only a few facilities partially influence tourist satisfaction, such as the main facilities. Area managers need to regularly maintain and care for existing facilities and collaborate with local governments to improve tourist facilities in order to ensure tourist satisfaction.

Abstract

Smoking behavior among adolescents continues to increase and has become a very serious public health problem, including in suburban areas such as Kandangan District, Temanggung Regency. This study aims to explore in depth the role of the family environment and peer groups in shaping and perpetuating smoking behavior in adolescents. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this data was collected through in-depth interviews with seven active adolescent smokers aged 15–18 years in Kandangan District, as well as environmental observations. The results show that the family acts as an "initial trigger" through visual normalization (seeing family members smoking) and weak supervisory control. Meanwhile, peer groups function as "accelerators and maintainers" of this behavior through the mechanisms of social pressure (peer pressure) and the need for group recognition. The negative synergy between family permissiveness and strong social solidarity is a major factor in smoking behavior among adolescents in this area. Results.Qualitative findings highlighted factors influencing smoking behavior in school adolescents. Negative family environment, negative peer environment, and easy cigarette accessibility contribute to smoking tendencies, while the school environment provides a more conducive and positive atmosphere for adolescents. In addition, exposure to anti-smoking advertisements containing information on the dangers of smoking is more impactful and better received by school adolescents than pro-smoking advertisements and promotions. Conclusion: The importance of the role of family, peers, and cigarette accessibility in preventing smoking behavior in adolescents. Interventions that focus on these factors are urgently needed to reduce the prevalence of smoking among adolescents.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of the AHE method in improving beginning reading skills among students with reading difficulties. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design, while the data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and reading tests.The results showed that the AHE method was implemented through six stages, namely brain gym, remedial activities, module reading, enrichment, writing, and games, and was able to improve students’ ability in recognizing letters, reading syllables, and reading simple words. Therefore, the AHE method was effective in improving beginning reading skills among students with reading difficulties.

Abstract

Basic locomotor movement skills are fundamental abilities that elementary school students must possess because they support physical activities and motor development. However, preliminary observations at SD Negeri 006 Palembang indicated that students' locomotor skills were still not optimal, particularly in agility,balance, and speed. This study aimed to determine the effect of the traditional block-running game on improving the locomotor movement skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 006 Palembang. This study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 24 students from class V.B selected through purposive sampling. Research instruments included the 4 x10 meter Shuttle Run test to measure agility, the Stork Stand Positional Balance test to measure balance, and the 30-meter sprint test to measure speed. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample tests with SPSS version 27. The results showed that the average pretest score of 56.921 increased to 73.558 in the posttest. The paired sample test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the traditional block-running game significantly affects the improvement of locomotor movement skills among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 006 Palembang. The traditional block-running game can be used as an effective alternative learning activity in physical education to improve students' locomotor movement skills.

Abstract

  This research aims to determine and describe the managerial competency analysis of school principals at SMTK Pelita Nauli Sorkam Barat. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the managerial competence of school principals has been implemented through short, medium and long term program planning, although it is not fully data-based. Organizational development is carried out through division of tasks and structuring, although there are still duplicate tasks. School leadership is carried out through directing and mobilizing the school community, but resource utilization is still not optimal. Change management is carried out through program evaluation and improvement, but facilities are still constrained. The school culture and climate have been built in a conducive manner, through instilling the values ​​of discipline, religion and cooperation. Teacher and staff management is carried out through coaching, but professional development is still limited. Facilities and infrastructure have been managed through data collection and maintenance, but are not yet optimal due to limited funds. Relations with the community have been established, but there are still obstacles. Student management is carried out from accepting new students and providing simple coaching. The curriculum refers to national policy, but specific curriculum development has not been carried out due to limited facilities. Financial management is carried out administratively, although there are still obstacles. Administrative management is carried out manually and is not yet optimal. There is no special service unit yet. Information system management has not run optimally due to limited facilities. The use of information technology is still limited. Monitoring and evaluation have been carried out, but have not been systematic and sustainable so they need to be improved.
