Abstract

This study aims to develop comic-based learning media and assess its feasibility for enhancing students' numeracy literacy skills. This research falls under the category of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of five stages: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. The subjects of this study involved 38 third-grade students from SDN Mekar Mukti 02. The results of this research showed an average score of 90.7% from three experts media expert, content expert, and language expert categorizing the media as highly valid. Additionally, the teacher response was 85%, and the student response was 88.9%, both categorized as very good. The effectiveness of the comic-based media was measured through pre-test and post-test results, with an N-gain score of 0.6, falling into the medium category. It can be concluded that the use of comic-based learning media can improve the numeracy literacy skills of third-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The research entitled Mentoring Strategy for Learning Community Activities Based on the Sekolah Penggerak Program in Sumedang Regency is motivated by the results of the Learning Community Mentoring workshop at the sekolah penggerak which aims to describe the implementation and profile of the effectiveness of mentoring activities for teachers and school heads in the Sekolah Penggerak Program in Sumedang Regency. The method used is descriptive analytical and evaluative of mentoring activities for learning community activities at school. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that mentoring for learning community activities at school based on the Sekolah Penggerak Program can be implemented well with a maximum level of success. This can be seen from (1) the establishment of a learning community, (2) increased activity in building a learning community, (3) maximum success in building a learning community, (4) the resolution of challenges and obstacles in building a learning community. (5) identification of ways to overcome challenges and obstacles in building a learning community, and (6) Teachers and principals have played an active role in building the quality of the learning community at school.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the communication strategies used by Islamic boarding schools in spreading Islamic values ​​through digital media, motivated by the rapid development of digital technology that opens up new opportunities for Islamic boarding schools in spreading Islamic teachings to the wider community, using qualitative research methods with a case study approach where data is collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, the results of the study show that Islamic boarding schools use various digital communication strategies such as the use of social media, websites, and mobile applications to convey religious messages effectively and integrate Islamic values ​​in the digital content presented so that it can attract the interest of the community, especially the younger generation, the conclusion of this study is that the use of digital media by Islamic boarding schools has great potential to increase the spread of Islamic values ​​more widely and effectively so that it is important for Islamic boarding schools to continue to develop and optimize relevant and innovative digital communication strategies.

Abstract

This study is based on the low interest in learning students, especially in mathematics, and the limited ability of students to understand flat shapes. The purpose of this study was to evaluate students' abilities before and after the implementation of puzzle learning media, and to identify the impact of using the media on students' understanding in grade 2 of Kepong Elementary School, Malaysia. The population and sample of the study consisted of 20 grade 2 students of Kepong Elementary School, Malaysia. Data collection was carried out through a test that included 10 questions. Data analysis included Validity Test, Reliability Test, and Hypothesis Test. The results of the Validity Test showed that 9 questions were valid, while 1 question did not meet the validity criteria with a coefficient value of 0.299. Meanwhile, the results of the Reliability Test showed that 9 valid questions had a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.798, which indicated a good level of reliability. Hypothesis Testing through paired sample tests produced a p value of 0.000, which was smaller than 0.05, so H1 was accepted. Abstract

This study is to investigate how learning outcomes are impacted by the usage of booklet media of fourth-grade primary school pupils at Sanggar Belajar Pandan Malaysia on the subject of metamorphosis. This study's backdrop is the low comprehension of metamorphosis content among students, which is said to be brought on by the learning media's lack of attractiveness and diversity. A quantitative experiment is the research method employed, with 16 students serving as the population and sample. The instrument consisted of a pre-test also post-test with  give them multiple choice questions. Students' average pre-test score was 50.9, according to the analysis's findings, while their post-test score rose to 75.18. The findings of the hypothesis test showed a p-value of 0.000 with a paired sample test, which implies that the use of booklet media has a substantial impact on student learning outcomes. This study presents guidelines for the use of cutting-edge learning materials in the scientific teaching process at the elementarry school level in addition to determining that booklet media effectively boost students’ grasp of methamorphosis subject. It is expecteed that the findings of this study will contribute to develop the learning materials that are more relevant and engaging while also meeting students’ needs.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the description of the spiritual intelligence of social studies teachers at SMPN 8 Palopo and the implementation of teachers' spiritual intelligence to improve the quality of social studies learning at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo.This research uses a descriptive qualitative method using a phenomenological approach which is carried out by deliberately selecting informants based on certain considerations obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained was then tested for the validity of the data by means of source triangulation, technical triangulation, and audit trail. At this time the data from interviews and observations were combined which then gave birth to a review of the topic that had been researched, namely the Implementation of Teachers' Spiritual Intelligence to Improve the Quality of Social Studies Learning at SMPN 8 Palopo.The results of the research show that the spiritual intelligence of teachers at SMPN 8 Palopo is categorized as quite good, where teachers apply their spiritual intelligence in teaching to support improving the quality of learning. There are five indicators that support teachers' spiritual intelligence in learning, namely; absolute honesty, self-knowledge, openness, non-dogmatic contribution and spiritual focus. The implementation of teachers' spiritual intelligence in the learning process at SMP 8 Palopo is quite good, teachers are required to be as creative as possible in planning learning and use the spiritual intelligence they have in learning so that the school's vision and mission and the desired learning objectives are achieved, namely a school that breathes religion and learning based on CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning). So in forming learning plans teachers try to implement this learning system in the classroom. The CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) learning process is able to provide the desired learning improvement. The teachers at SMPN 8 Palopo use CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) based learning and most of the learning carried out can be said to be successful.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning barriers of students in class IV phase b of elementary school on mathematics and multiples learning material. The research method used in this research is the qualitative method. The subjects of this research were class IV students at SD Negeri 121/I Muara Singoan. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and tests. The results of this research indicate that there are learning obstacles for class IV students at SD Negeri 121/I Muara Singoan which refer to students' knowledge so that errors occur in working on question. Starting from students not being able to describe the material to solving factors and multiples questions related to everyday life. Apart from that, there are students who make mistakes in the steps in completing them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 2 SD dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan melibatkan enam siswa dari kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 13 Surabaya sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui tiga metode triangulasi, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data meliputi reduksi data yang tidak relevan, penyajian hasil secara terstruktur, serta penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan temuan yang diperoleh. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada level tinggi, dengan kategori kemampuan identifikasi masalah pada tingkat sangat tinggi, menginterpretasi informasi pada tingkat tinggi, penalaran pada tingkat tinggi, mengevaluasi dan merevisi jawaban pada tingkat sedang, serta mengkomunikasikan hasil pemikiran pada tingkat rendah. Namun, siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan alasan matematis dan eksplorasi strategi alternatif. Penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif, kontekstual, dan berbasis masalah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education in schools and its impact on students. The research employs a narrative literature review method by examining various studies, policies, and educational practices in different contexts. The findings reveal that multicultural education is implemented through curriculum integration, experience-based teaching strategies, and inclusive school policies. These implementations positively impact students by enhancing their understanding of cultural diversity, fostering inclusivity and tolerance, and developing social skills. However, challenges such as inadequate teacher training, limited resources, and gaps between policy and practice remain. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening teachers' capacity in multicultural education, providing more inclusive learning materials, and implementing systematic school policies to support diversity

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using podcasting on the srudents speaking ability in Bahasa Indonesia subjects at Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Bharu Malaysia. The research method used is quantitative pre-experimental with a pretest-posttest one group design. The sampling technique in this study used a purpose sampling technique. The instrument used was a speaking ability observation sheet. Result the research found showed of the hypothesis test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that the use of podcasting has an effect on speaking ability in Bahasa Indonesia subjects of Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Bharu Malaysia students. Based on the phenomenon that occurred, the use of podcasting is highly recommended to be used in Bahasa Indonesia subjects.
