Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited availability of mathematics assessment instruments capable of measuring students' numeracy literacy skills through contextual problems. The assessment instruments commonly used in mathematics learning tend to emphasize computational skills and conceptual mastery, providing limited opportunities for students to apply mathematical concepts to real-life situations. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a mathematics assessment instrument based on numeracy literacy using a contextual approach for third-grade elementary school students and to determine its validity and practicality. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research subjects included expert validators, a third-grade teacher, and nine third-grade students at SD Negeri 7 Langsa. Data were collected through observations, interviews, validation questionnaires, and response questionnaires from teachers and students. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The findings revealed that the developed assessment instrument obtained a validity score of 78% from the material expert, categorized as valid, 94% from the evaluation expert, categorized as highly valid, and 100% from the language expert, categorized as highly valid. The practicality test showed a score of 97% based on the teacher's assessment and an average score of 96% based on students' responses, both of which were classified as highly practical. These findings indicate that the mathematics assessment instrument based on numeracy literacy with a contextual approach is valid and highly practical, making it appropriate for use as an alternative assessment instrument in mathematics learning for third-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most important subjects in life because it can play a role in improving critical thinking skills and reasoning abilities. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model assisted by anikur media. The researcher used a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of Candirejo 01 and Candirejo 02 Elementary Schools. The sample in this study was grade III of Candirejo 01 Elementary School as the experimental class, and grade III of Candirejo 02 Elementary School as the control class. The sample was taken purposively using a nonprobability sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions. Data analysis techniques in this study were tests and regression tests. The results of the study showed that a significance value of 0.00 <0.05 indicated that Ho was rejected or H1 was accepted. The average of the control group differed from the average of the experimental group. In addition, based on the results of the regression test, a significance level of 0.002 was obtained. Therefore, the sig value <0.05 means that the above variables influence each other, with t count = 9.471 > t table = 0.647. Thus, it can be understood that third-grade students of Candirejo 01 and Candirejo 02 Elementary Schools with the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model have a significant influence on students' reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Digital promotions and automated customer service are increasingly used by e-commerce platforms to shape customer experience. This study examined the effects of discounts and automated chatbot effectiveness on customer satisfaction in the Shopee application among students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, cohort of 2022. A quantitative design was applied. The population consisted of 2,816 active students, and 97 respondents were selected using purposive sampling; the sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula with a 10% error tolerance. Data were collected through an online Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares with SmartPLS. The results showed that discounts had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.461; t = 4.413; p = 0.000). Automated chatbot effectiveness did not have a significant partial effect (path coefficient = -0.212; t = 0.986; p = 0.324). Together, both variables had a significant effect on customer satisfaction (F = 12.866; p = 0.000), with R-square = 0.215. However, the measurement model did not meet the ideal reliability and convergent-discriminant validity criteria; therefore, the structural findings should be interpreted cautiously. The findings indicate that the economic value generated by discounts was more influential than chatbot effectiveness in shaping satisfaction among the respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on students' learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Pattallassang, Gowa Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The study population was 108 class VIII students, while the sample was 52 students determined using the Slovin formula with a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument was first tested for validity and reliability, then the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through normality tests, linearity tests, homogeneity tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²). The results of the study showed that emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on students' learning motivation. This was evidenced by the results of the regression test which obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so that the research hypothesis was accepted. The t-test results show a calculated t-value of 7.442, which is greater than the t-table of 2.006 (7.442 > 2.006), which indicates a significant influence between emotional intelligence and students' learning motivation. In addition, the results of the coefficient of determination (R²) test show a value of 0.526, which means that emotional intelligence contributes 52.6% to students' learning motivation, while the remaining 47.4% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, the higher the emotional intelligence of students, the higher their learning motivation. The results of this study are expected to be input for teachers in developing learning strategies that are not only oriented towards cognitive aspects, but also pay attention to the development of students' emotional aspects in order to increase learning motivation.

Abstract

Pancasila serves as the foundation of the Indonesian state and plays an important role in developing students’ character from an early age. However, its implementation among elementary school students has not been fully optimal. Initial observations at SDN Bandungrejosari 3 Malang indicated that some fourth-grade students had not consistently demonstrated discipline, responsibility, and active participation in classroom deliberations. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Pancasila values among fourth-grade students, identify their forms of application, and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the fourth-grade homeroom teacher and students. Data analysis included data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the value of Belief in the One and Only God was implemented through prayer and religious tolerance. Humanity was reflected in honesty, politeness, empathy, and helping others. Unity was demonstrated through cooperation and mutual assistance, while Democracy was practiced through classroom discussions and opportunities to express opinions. Social Justice was reflected in fair treatment and equal task distribution. The implementation of Pancasila values was supported by teachers’ role modeling, daily habituation, school regulations, and positive teacher–student interactions. However, differences in students’ characteristics, motivation, discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence remained obstacles. Overall, Pancasila values have been integrated into classroom learning and daily school activities, with teachers playing a key role in strengthening students’ character through consistent guidance, example, and habituation. Keywords: Pancasila Values, Character Education, Elementary School Students. ABSTRAK Pancasila sebagai dasar negara berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik sejak pendidikan dasar. Abstract

Learning interest is an important factor that influences the success of learning. In Pancasila Education learning, especially the material of rights and obligations, students' learning interest is still relatively low as indicated by the lack of attention, participation, and enthusiasm during the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by Baamboozle digital media on the learning interest of fourth-grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of One Shot Case Study. The research subjects were one class of fourth-grade students as the experimental class, while the object of the research was students' learning interest. Data collection was carried out using a learning interest questionnaire and observation sheets after the implementation of the learning model. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, and One Sample t-Test hypothesis tests with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 31. The results showed that the average value of students' learning interest was 60.96 which is included in the high category. The normality test showed that the data was normally distributed, namely Sig. 0.113 which is greater than 0.05, while the One Sample t-Test hypothesis test produces a significance value of 0.003 which is smaller than 0.05, so the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. This finding proves that the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model assisted by Baamboozle digital media has an effect on students' learning interest in Pancasila Education learning on the material of rights and obligations. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for teachers in designing more interactive Pancasila Education learning based on digital games. Abstract

School leadership in public senior high schools remains predominantly administrative and has not fully integrated transformational practices, gender responsiveness, and a value-based organizational culture. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a gender-responsive transformational leadership model using the SWEET LOVE strategy for public senior high schools under the Central Java Provincial Education and Culture Office, Region XI. The study employed a research and development approach using the ADDIE model, comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observations, document analysis, and expert validation involving school principals, teachers, supervisors, leadership experts, gender experts, and school management practitioners selected purposively. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically, while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Aiken’s V to determine content validity. The findings revealed that existing leadership practices had not consistently promoted participatory decision-making, teacher empowerment, empathetic communication, and equal opportunities across genders. The resulting model integrated nine leadership values: Spiritual, Wise, Empowering, Empathy, Transformative, Loyalty, Optimism, Visionary, and Equity. Expert assessments and limited field implementation indicated that the model was valid, practical, and applicable in strengthening transformational leadership practices, inclusive organizational communication, collaborative school culture, and gender-equitable participation. The study concludes that the SWEET LOVE strategy provides a contextual and implementable framework for developing humanistic, visionary, and gender-responsive school leadership.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the higher order cognitive learning outcomes (C4–C6) of class X MPK students at SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya in the Office Technology Equipment and Applications element. Method: This quasi experiment used a Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 72 students selected through total sampling, divided into an experimental class and a control class of 36 students each. The instrument was a 20 item multiple choice test that met the requirements of validity, reliability (Cronbach's Alpha 0.948), difficulty level, and discriminating power. Data were analyzed using the independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain test with SPSS 26. Results: The pretest obtained a significance of 0.888 (> 0.05), indicating equivalent initial abilities. The paired sample t-test showed an increase of 19.306 points in the experimental class and 7.917 points in the control class (Sig. 0.000). The posttest independent sample t-test obtained t = 4.233, a significance of 0.000 (< 0.05), and a mean difference of 10.972, so H0 was rejected. The experimental class N-Gain of 0.40 falls into the moderate category. PjBL therefore has a significant effect on learning outcomes, although the magnitude of the improvement is moderate. Novelty: This study tests PjBL integrated with authentic office technology projects and restricts measurement to the higher order cognitive domain (C4–C6), which has rarely been examined in Indonesian office management vocational education.
