Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the literature related to the implementation of a hybrid pedagogical model that integrates traditional games with digital media in inclusive education. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to publications from the 2020–2026 period, this study highlights how the combination of local cultural values and technological innovation can create a more adaptive, inclusive, and globally relevant learning experience. Thematic analysis identified five main focuses: (1) the integration of traditional games and digital media, which has been proven to improve motor, cognitive, and social skills while motivating participation; (2) teacher readiness and pedagogical models, including Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU), which still face obstacles of anxiety and limitations of inclusive methodologies; (3) the digital divide and accessibility, which are major barriers to the application of technology in diverse educational contexts; (4) the use of AI-based technology for adaptive learning, which offers personalization and real-time feedback but raises ethical and privacy issues; and (5) research gaps in the form of a lack of longitudinal studies, the need for scalable solutions, and the lack of media literacy integration in physical education curricula. The study's findings confirm that the successful implementation of hybrid pedagogical models relies on ongoing teacher training, culturally responsive design, and digital policy and infrastructure support. This research provides important contributions to development practice, policy, and future research, emphasizing the need for strategies to bridge the digital divide and strengthen inclusive educational innovation.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving skills of fourth-grade students regarding integer operations at MIS Ciomas. This was indicated by pretest results that remained below the Minimum Passing Criteria (KKM), suggesting that students struggled to understand the abstract concept of integers. The lack of concrete learning media is one of the factors contributing to students’ low understanding. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using the Number Line teaching media on mathematical problem-solving skills in integer operations among fourth-grade students at MIS Ciomas. The research method used is a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 25 students. Data collection was conducted through tests (pretest and posttest), which were then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and N-Gain tests to determine improvements in learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that there was a significant improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving skills after using the Number Line teaching medium. Abstract

The increasing generation of agro-industrial waste, particularly sugarcane bagasse, has become an environmental concern while simultaneously providing opportunities for the development of environmentally friendly value-added materials. This study aims to analyze the pore structure characteristics and physical properties of fibrous materials produced from sugarcane bagasse fibers using starch as a natural binder, with the objective of evaluating their potential as sustainable sound-absorbing materials. An experimental method was employed using three different mass ratios of sugarcane fiber to starch, namely 1:10, 2:10, and 3:10. The microstructural characteristics of the materials were examined using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to observe surface morphology, pore diameter, pore spacing, and fiber diameter. The physical properties evaluated included moisture content, density, and airflow resistivity. The results revealed that the specimen with a fiber-to-starch ratio of 3:10 exhibited the best overall performance, with a moisture content of 68%, density of 0.2611 g/cm³, and an airflow resistivity of 484.1989 Pa·s/m². SEM observations indicated that the material was predominantly composed of closed pores, with an average pore diameter of 231.3 μm, an average pore spacing of 1109.88 μm, and an average fiber diameter of 318 μm. Increasing the proportion of sugarcane fibers produced a denser material, reduced moisture content, and enhanced airflow resistance, which are favorable characteristics for sound absorption. These findings demonstrate that fibrous material fabricated from sugarcane bagasse fibers with starch as a natural binder has considerable potential as an eco-friendly, low-cost, and sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic acoustic materials.

Abstract

Implementing educational reforms that allow for the freedom to design learning activities is a key focus of education in Indonesia. However, a complex issue within the Indonesian educational landscape is the low level of student engagement during the learning process. Teachers often retain full control over instruction, thereby limiting students' ability to construct knowledge independently; consequently, students may be physically present but remain socially, emotionally, and intellectually disengaged. One solution to enhance student engagement is the implementation of cooperative learning models. This study aims to measure the impact of the Teams Games-Tournament (TGT) learning model, supported by the use of Uno Stacko, on student engagement. A quantitative approach utilizing a One-Group Pretest Posttest experimental design was employed. The study sample consisted of 32 students from class 8A at SMP Negeri 13 Malang. The results indicate that the TGT learning model successfully fosters active learning. These findings demonstrate that the TGT model, supplemented by Uno Stacko, offers a potential solution to the problem of low student engagement in Social Studies (IPS) lessons.
