Abstract

This study aims to see how effective the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative method is to improve learning outcomes in the subject of Citizenship Education (PPKn) at the elementary school level. This study uses a literature study method by reviewing several journals and books from relevant previous studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the jigsaw cooperative method in improving learning outcomes has a positive impact. Because, building students' self-confidence in expressing their opinions, learning motivation, cooperation and understanding of the students themselves regarding the subject of Citizenship Education (PPkn). This model forms individual responsibility in groups through the division of original groups and expert groups. Although effective, the success of this method depends on the role of the teacher in managing the class and seeing the characteristics of students while studying in class. Compared to other models such as Think-Pair-share and Group Investigation, the Jigsaw model is indeed superior in forming student involvement in class. Therefore, choosing the right model is very necessary in order to obtain maximum learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly ChatGPT, has brought significant changes to the world of education. This research aims to analyze the influence of ChatGPT usage on the critical thinking skills of vocational high school students, identify patterns of ChatGPT utilization in the learning process, and explore the challenges faced in its use. The research employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods involving 5 students who actively use ChatGPT in their learning activities. Data was collected through interviews and analysis of students' conversations with ChatGPT to obtain a comprehensive picture of their experiences. The results show that students utilize ChatGPT primarily to obtain references, overcome creative blocks, and expedite task completion. Although ChatGPT helps in terms of efficiency, there are concerns about dependency that may hinder the development of independent analysis and evaluation abilities. This research concludes that the influence of ChatGPT on critical thinking skills has a dualistic nature - on one hand, it can enhance analytical abilities through personalized learning, but on the other hand, it has the potential to reduce students' cognitive efforts if used without clear limitations.

Abstract

Improvement of student learning outcomes is the main indicator in determining whether an education that is implemented is of good quality or not. The low learning outcomes of students, especially in Elementary Schools, are influenced by one factor, namely the inappropriateness of the model applied by educators. Therefore, in order for student learning outcomes to improve, it is necessary to adjust the learning model based on student needs and educational environment conditions. Analysis of the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division cooperative learning model is very appropriate to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes in Elementary Schools. This research is a research with a qualitative approach in which a literature study was conducted to analyze and present data that students' understanding of concepts, learning outcome, and social skills can increase due to the implementation of STAD. STAD is one of the learning methods that is very effective and relevant to the needs of Elementary School students today, so that it can support active and meaningful learning

Abstract

Globalisasi berdampak besar pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan, dengan melemahnya nilai budaya lokal sebagai salah satu akibatnya. Di Indonesia yang kaya budaya, hal ini menjadi tantangan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran guru dalam menanamkan nilai budaya di tengah arus globalisasi, mencakup lima aspek utama: dampak globalisasi, pemahaman guru, strategi pembelajaran berbasis budaya, internalisasi nilai dalam perilaku siswa, serta sinergi sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa guru berperan penting dalam mengintegrasikan nilai budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran. Kolaborasi antarpihak turut memperkuat pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya, membentuk generasi berkarakter lokal dengan daya saing global.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This phenomenological qualitative study explores elementary students' subjective experiences in Project-Based Learning (PjBL) using microsites to enhance ecological literacy. Despite technological advancements in education, conventional methods often fail to foster comprehensive ecological awareness due to teacher-centered approaches and limited media (Ernst & Monroe, 2022). This research addresses this gap by investigating how microsite-based PjBL shapes students' environmental consciousness through interactive, contextual learning (Hernández-Ramos & De La Paz, 2021). The study involved 28 fourth-grade students from Malang, Indonesia, who participated in a four-week microsite project integrating multimedia content (videos, infographics) and collaborative activities. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews (10 students), participatory observations (6 sessions), and document analysis (digital posters, daily reflections), then analyzed using van Manen’s (2022) phenomenological approach to identify essential themes. Three key findings emerged: (1) Microsites as Interactive Exploration Spaces: 78.6% of students (22/28) reported that multimedia features facilitated autonomous learning, though 5 initially faced technical challenges; (2) Digital Collaboration and Emotional Engagement: 65% (18/28) felt motivated by collaborative features (e.g., comment sections), while 7 students experienced initial discomfort with digital interaction; and (3) Contextual Learning and Ecological Transformation: 19 students adopted pro-environmental behaviors (e.g., reducing plastic use), supported by 85.7% of reflections (24/28) showing heightened environmental awareness. The study highlights microsites’ role as "digital lifeworlds" (van Manen, 2022) that merge exploration, collaboration, and emotional reflection, offering a student-centered alternative to conventional methods. Practical implications include designing microsites with storytelling elements and structured social features. Limitations include the single-school sample, suggesting future research on long-term impacts and comparisons with other digital tools (e.g., augmented reality).

Abstract

Students' difficulties in completing their thesis due to continuous revisions, obstacles in the field and guidance that are considered difficult become a psychological burden that can develop into demotivation. If not overcome, difficulties will develop into demotivation, namely a decrease in the enthusiasm of students to complete their thesis. This research aims to: (1) integrate NLP in students who experience demotivation in thesis work and (2) develop a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)-based resilience strategy guide that can be applied by students to overcome their demotivation in completing their thesis. This research used a qualitative approach with an action research design. The research subjects were active students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program at Universitas Negeri Makassar who were selected using purposive sampling technique. NLP intervention was conducted through reframing, anchoring and visualization techniques with in-depth interviews as the main technique of data collection. Data analysis was conducted using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach. The results showed that NLP is effective to help students overcome demotivation in thesis work. NLP helps students dialogue with themselves, visualize their success, and build enthusiasm starting from small things. Students can also apply resilience strategies, namely learning to manage emotions and seeking social support.

Abstract

Di era Revolusi Industri 4.0, literasi digital merupakan keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa untuk menghadapi kemajuan teknologi informasi yang berkembang pesat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana kecerdasan buatan Artificial Intelligence mendukung siswa sekolah dasar di SD Negeri 2 Lembang, Cina, dalam memberikan umpan balik terhadap literasi digital mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan platform Canva berbasis Artificial Intelligence khususnya fitur Magic Write dan Text to Image secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas, kerapian, dan kualitas keseluruhan karya siswa. Dari 25 siswa yang diamati, sebanyak 80% mencapai kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik dan baik. Capaian ini dinilai berdasarkan sejumlah indikator, seperti kreativitas, kesesuaian tema, pemanfaatan fitur Artificial Intelligence, keteraturan tata letak, dan kemampuan presentasi poster. Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran tematik yang menggunakan strategi dalam pembelajaran yaitu question student have di kelas III SD Negeri Purwadadi II. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Untuk melihat hasil kevalidan pada peneltian ini dapat kita lihat dari segi isi, bahasa dan RPP dengan jumlah total 3,72 kategori sangat valid. Strategi pembelajaran ini memberikan responden dengan rata-rata 90% direspon oleh siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam pengembangan pembelajaran ini dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tematik dan dibantu dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran question student have pada kelas III SD.

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan media yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan. Mengingat hal tersebut, tidak dipungkiri lagi jika di dalam karya sastra terdapat nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung. Nilai moral sangatlah penting dalam pembentukan karakter, terutama untuk anak. Oleh sebab itu nilai moral disampaikan dalam bentuk kartun atau gambar bergerak dan disajikan dengan cerita yang dapat menarik perhatian anak. Salah satu serial kartun anak yang cukup dikenal adalah serial Strawberry Shortcake yang menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada nilai moral yang terkandung dalam serial kartun Strawberry Shortcake dengan menggunakan kajian teoritis mengenai nilai moral Nurgiyantoro dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Bentuk nilai moral yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini antara lain keberanian, pemaaf, bertanggung jawab, menghormati, dan tolong menolong.

Abstract

Peran guru dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Bajong Purbalingga. Keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat penting dalam pendidikan, terutama di tingkat dasar, karena dapat membekali siswa dengan kemampuan untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menciptakan solusi untuk masalah yang dihadapi. Melalui pendekatan yang tepat, guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengajaran yang berfokus pada keterlibatan aktif siswa, pemecahan masalah, dan diskusi kelompok berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.
