Abstract

Masalah utama melalui metode reading aloud pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III SD Negeri Romang Rappoa. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mengambil 9 sampel yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum menggunakan reading aloud banyak siswa yang masih terbata-bata saat membaca. Namun setelah beberapa kali latihan mereka mampu dan mulai dapat memahami makna bacaan dengan lebih baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan literasi melalui metode ini membantu menggambarkan kemampuan literasi siswa melalui kegiatan membaca nyaring karena penerapan metode reading aloud menunjukkan hasil yang positif.

Abstract

Low student motivation in Informatics, particularly on Computer Systems, is a challenge in the digital era. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Gimkit platform in enhancing the motivation and activeness of 7th-grade students at SMPN 15 Malang. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was used. Instruments included an ARCS-based motivation questionnaire and an observation sheet. The findings show that students using Gimkit were more motivated and active than those in conventional classes. Gimkit was found effective in capturing attention, providing relevance, building confidence, and fostering learning satisfaction.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penerapan media flipbook dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ngroto Bulukerto Wonogiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa menggunakan media flipbook pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Ngroto Bulukerto Wonogiri. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Desain yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan McTaggart, model penelitian tindakan kelas ini yang didalamnya meliputi kegiatan: Perencanaan (planning), Tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Hasil penelitian siklus I didapat rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar sebesar 64,0% dengan kategori cukup, dimana terdapat kenaikan keaktifan siswa sebesar 3,9% yang sebelumnya di pra siklus rata-rata persentase sebesar 60,1%. Sedangkan hasil tes belajar keterampilan menulis puisi pada siklus I terlihat bahwa rata-rata hasil tes belajar siswa sebesar 67,6 dengan kategori belum tuntas. Walaupun belum tuntas dalam siklus I terdapat peningkatan sebesar 9,7 yang sebelumnya di pra siklus rata-ratanya sebesar 57.9. Maka dari itu peneliti memandang perlu untuk melanjutkan ke pelaksanaan siklus II. Setelah dilaksanakan siklus II hasil keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sudah mencapai hasil interventasi tindakan yang diharapkan yaitu siswa yang aktif mencapai ≥ 80% dari jumlah siswa yang ada di kelas. Rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar sebesar 85,6% dengan kategori baik/aktif, dimana terdapat kenaikan yang sangat signifikan sebesar 21,6% yang sebelumnya di siklus I rata-rata persentase sebesar 64,0%. Sedangkan hasil tes belajar keterampilan menulis puisi pada siklus II terlihat bahwa rata-rata hasil tes belajar siswa sebesar 81,8 dengan kategori baik/sudah tuntas. Pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan sebesar 14,2 yang sebelumnya di pra siklus rata-ratanya sebesar 67,6. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan penerapan media pembelajaran flipbook untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD N Ngroto Bulukerto Wonogiri sudah berhasil.

Abstract

The use of learning media in learning activities, especially in social studies subjects, is expected to overcome existing challenges, such as low student learning outcomes in lessons and difficulties in understanding the material. In this digital era, the development of information technology offers a variety of learning media that can be used to support the teaching and learning process. One of the increasingly popular learning media is Lumio by smart. This research model is PTK (Classroom Action Research) with the teacher as the researcher. The presence of the researcher is very important because the researcher acts as the teacher. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, tests and documentation. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to expert media validators and material experts. The use of Lumio by smart learning media in social studies subjects for class VIII has a good impact on efforts to improve student learning outcomes, this is indicated by an increase in the percentage of student learning outcome completion during 2 learning cycles. In cycle I, it was found that the student completion rate reached 36% then increased in cycle II by 70%. The results of these data indicate that Lumio by smart learning media can improve social studies learning outcomes for class VIII.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kedungoleng 03 melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media gambar pada materi “Sayangi Bumi”. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas dua pertemuan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL berbantuan media gambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 65% dengan nilai rata-rata 64,7, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81% dengan nilai rata-rata 81,5. Skor rata-rata angket keterampilan menulis juga meningkat dari 59,99% (kategori cukup) pada siklus I menjadi 82,62% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II. Selain itu, sikap kemandirian siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL berbantuan media gambar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Culture is a behavior that is passed down from generation to generation and reflects the identity of a society. In Indonesia, cultural diversity, including traditional snacks, is very important to preserve, especially in the era of globalization which causes many changes in local culture. Typical Pariaman snacks, such as sala lauak, sambareh, lapek koci, and rakik maco, not only have culinary value, but also store mathematical concepts that can be used in learning mathematics in elementary schools. This study aims to explore ethnomathematics in typical Pariaman snacks and the relationship of mathematical concepts in typical Pariaman snacks with mathematics materials in elementary schools. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with an ethnographic approach. This research was conducted in Korong Sungai Sariak, Nagari Malai V Suku, Batang Gasan District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra and SDN 12 Batang Gasan. Data collection methods in this study are observation in the process of making snacks, interviews with bundo kandung, snack makers, teachers and students at SDN 12 Batang Gasan, and documentation. The results showed that in typical Pariaman snacks there are aspects of ethnomathematics in the form of counting, measuring, designing and explaining activities that contain mathematical concepts, namely the concept of counting operations, the concept of fractions, the concept of comparison, the concept of measurement, and the concept of geometry.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Indonesian language in grade V students of SDN 79 Pekanbaru which have not met the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP). The low learning outcomes are caused by the use of Indonesian language learning models and media that are less varied so that they have an impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Cooperative Learning Type Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by baamboozle educational games on mastery of the concept of intrinsic elements of children's stories. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study amounted to 20 students. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The research test instrument is a multiple choice question that has been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and question differentiation. Based on the results of the study, the average pretest score was 66 and the average posttest score was 85 which showed an increase. and the results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T Test test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of >.001 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. As well as the results of the N-Gain test, the obtained gain score is 0.5757 which is included in the moderate category and the gain percent of 57.5707% is included in the moderately effective category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the constructivist approach in mathematics learning in Grade V at SD Negeri 007 Kuaro. Using a qualitative research method, this study explores in depth how teachers design and implement student-centered learning, encouraging students to actively construct their own understanding of mathematics. Classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as analysis of learning documents serve as the primary instruments for data collection. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the constructivist approach is reflected in several aspects of the learning process. The teacher acts as a facilitator who stimulates students’ curiosity through open-ended questions and contextual problems. Students are encouraged to collaborate in groups, share ideas, and test their hypotheses. The use of varied and relevant learning media also supports students in connecting mathematical concepts with real-life experiences. However, the study also identifies challenges in implementation, such as effective classroom management when students work independently and in heterogeneous groups, as well as the need for sufficient time allocation for the construction of understanding. The implications of this study provide insights for teachers and schools to optimize the application of the constructivist approach in order to improve the quality of mathematics learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas instrumen penilaian topik gerakan pembaruan Islam dalam buku teks Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) untuk Kelas 12 di MA Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian sebelumnya menyoroti dalam desain alat penilaian guru, khususnya dalam mengembangkan pertanyaan yang mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan nilai-nilai reflektif dalam pembelajaran sejarah Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis, penelitian ini fokus pada analisis validitas konten dan validitas konstruk dari lima pertanyaan esai dalam Bab V buku teks SKI. Sumber data primer meliputi buku teks SKI Kelas 12 dan instrumen penilaian yang menyertainya, sedangkan data sekunder meliputi dokumen kurikulum dan referensi terkait. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa instrumen penilaian menunjukkan validitas sedang hingga tinggi, tetapi validitas konstruknya bervariasi secara signifikan. Sebagian besar pertanyaan menargetkan tingkat kognitif rendah hingga menengah (C2-C3), dengan hanya satu pertanyaan yang mencapai tingkat kognitif lebih tinggi (C4-C5). Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya penyempurnaan alat penilaian untuk tidak hanya menyebarkan pengetahuan faktual tetapi juga menumbuhkan pemikiran kritis, keterampilan analitis, dan kemampuan siswa untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pembaruan Islam ke dalam konteks kontemporer.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education subjects in the fifth grade at SDN 1 Rulung Mulya, Natar District. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, and a pretest-posttest design with a non-equivalent control group. The research population consists of 240 fifth-grade students, with 60 students selected as a sample through simple random sampling techniques. The sample is then divided into two groups, namely the experimental group that receives treatment using the PBL model aided by comic media, and the control group that uses traditional learning methods. Data collection is conducted through observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using descriptive and inferential techniques. The research results show that there is a significant increase in critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in the experimental group. The average pretest score of the experimental group was 51.17, increasing to 83.67 on the posttest. In contrast, the control group recorded an increase from 54.81 to 80.33. The hypothesis test resulted in a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is below the threshold of 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This proves that the use of the PBL model has a significant positive effect on improving students' critical thinking skills in Civic Education learning.
