Abstract

The Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) is one of the students’ contributions to society aimed at supporting educational development in rural areas. This article discusses KKN strategies to address the shortage of teaching staff through tutoring programs and creative classes at SMP Negeri 2 Lappariaja, Desa Bengo. The program was designed to improve the quality of learning, broaden students’ access to knowledge, and stimulate their learning motivation. The methods used included identifying the needs for teaching staff, developing creative learning modules, conducting direct classroom assistance, and evaluating learning outcomes. The results of the program showed increased student participation, improved academic performance, and the creation of a more innovative learning environment. This activity demonstrates that the involvement of KKN students can serve as an alternative solution in sustaining education in regions facing teacher shortages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya relawan Yayasan Medan Generasi Impian dalam meningkatkan pendidikan moral anak-anak dari keluarga kurang mampu di Kelurahan Glugur Darat II. Dengan data yang menunjukkan bahwa 45% anak di Indonesia mengalami krisis moral, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi relawan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran dan tanggung jawab. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan tiga relawan, dan dokumentasi selama dua bulan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi empat kategori upaya: preventif, preservatif, kuratif, dan adaptif. Upaya preventif mencakup kegiatan edukatif, preservatif berfokus pada lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, kuratif menangani perilaku menyimpang, dan adaptif memanfaatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran relawan dalam pembentukan karakter anak dan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan dampak pendidikan moral.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Indonesian madrasahs often faces challenges as it is perceived as difficult and less relevant to students’ daily lives, making learning motivation a key factor for success. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in motivating eighth-grade students at MTs Ma’had Al-Zaytun and to identify the strategies used to enhance motivation in Arabic learning. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving three Arabic teachers and fifteen students selected purposively. The findings reveal that teachers act not only as instructors but also as role models and motivators by implementing interactive learning media, providing rewards, and engaging in empathetic communication. These strategies foster both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, build students’ confidence, and encourage active participation in class. The study concludes that teachers play a crucial role in shaping students’ motivation to learn Arabic in a boarding school environment. The results highlight the need to strengthen teachers’ competencies in designing adaptive and communicative learning strategies aligned with students’ needs, while also contributing academically to the development of motivation theories in foreign language learning within Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a theoretical analysis of the implementation of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method in Arabic language instruction at Islamic Higher Education institutions. The research is grounded in the reality that Arabic teaching in Indonesia remains dominated by traditional approaches focused on grammar and translation, while students’ communicative competence remains relatively low. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, the study collected data from books, journal articles, theses, and other relevant documents, which were critically analyzed and synthesized. The findings reveal that CLT is theoretically grounded in the view of language as communication and in the framework of communicative competence. The advantages of CLT include increasing learning motivation, language fluency, active participation, and the integration of the four language skills. However, its application faces several challenges, particularly at the institutional level, such as limited lecturer competence, large class sizes, inadequate teaching materials, passive learning culture, and insufficient infrastructure. A critical analysis affirms that CLT is highly relevant in addressing the challenges of Arabic language teaching in the modern era, especially in the context of Islamic Higher Education. This research is expected to serve as a conceptual foundation for developing more communicative, adaptive, and contextual Arabic teaching strategies. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1) Untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran contekstual teaching and learning di Madrasah Qur’aniyah Al-Husnayain Surakarta tahun ajaran 2024/2025. 2) Untuk mengetahui pemahaman mata pelajaran akidah akhlak di Madrasah Qur’aniyah Al-Husnayain Surakarta tahun ajaran 2024/2025. 3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran contekstual teaching and learning terhadap pemahaman siswa di Madrasah Qur’aniyah Al-Husnayain Surakarta tahun ajaran 2024/2025..Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX Madrasah Qur’aniyah Al Husnayain Surakarta dengan jumlah sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 34 siswa kelas VII, VIII dan IX. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket untuk mengukur penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (variabel X) dan tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman Akidah Akhlak (variabel Y). Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment melalui aplikasi SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1)model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning di Madrasah Qur’aniyah Al Husnayain Surakarta Tahun 2024/2025 memiliki nilai tertinggi 64 dan nilai terendah 32 dengan rata-rata 57,3 penerapan model CTL berada pada kategori baik, 2) tingkat pemahaman Akidah Akhlak siswa memiliki nilai tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 34 dengan rata-rata 76,97 tingkat pemahaman materi akidah akhlak berada pada kategori cukup baik. 3)pengaruh model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning terhadap Tingkat pemahamn materi akidah akhlak di Madrasah Qur’aniyah Al Husnayain Surakarta tahun ajaran 2024/2025 menghasilkan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,453 > r table 0,339 dengan signifikansi 0,133>0, 05 artinya, terdapat hubungan positif antara penerapan model CTL dengan pemahaman Akidah Akhlak, meskipun tidak signifikan dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif dapat diterima. Abstract

Perubahan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk bertransformasi dalam pengelolaan administrasi sekolah. Sistem administrasi manual yang lambat, kurang akurat, dan rentan kesalahan menjadi masalah utama yang dihadapi sekolah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan layanan pendidikan yang efisien dan transparan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan (SIMDIK) dalam meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi sekolah serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, yaitu menelaah berbagai referensi berupa buku, artikel ilmiah, dan hasil penelitian terkait penerapan SIMDIK di berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Analisis dilakukan melalui kategorisasi tema untuk memperoleh pemahaman komprehensif mengenai konsep, implementasi, serta tantangan SIMDIK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIMDIK mampu mengintegrasikan data siswa, guru, staf, dan fasilitas dalam satu platform, sehingga mempercepat proses administrasi seperti pendaftaran, absensi, pelaporan, dan manajemen keuangan. SIMDIK juga meningkatkan transparansi informasi, akuntabilitas sekolah, serta efektivitas komunikasi dengan stakeholder. Namun, hambatan masih ditemukan, antara lain keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, rendahnya literasi digital pada sebagian guru, serta gangguan teknis sistem. Dengan dukungan pelatihan, kolaborasi stakeholder, dan pemeliharaan sistem yang berkelanjutan, SIMDIK berpotensi menjadi instrumen strategis untuk mewujudkan administrasi sekolah yang modern, efisien, dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Early reading skills are fundamental competencies that elementary school students must master as the foundation for further literacy development. However, various studies indicate that students’ early reading abilities in Indonesia remain relatively low, requiring effective learning strategies to overcome this challenge. This study aims to analyze the influence of the cooperative learning model type STAD on elementary school students’ early reading skills. The method employed was a literature review by examining several relevant and accredited classroom action research articles obtained through Google Scholar and the Publish or Perish application. The findings show that the implementation of the STAD model consistently improves students’ early reading skills. The improvement can be seen from the mastery level in the first cycle, which ranged from 50% to 65%, and then increased in the second cycle to 73%–90%. These results demonstrate that the STAD model not only encourages students to actively collaborate in groups but also strengthens individual accountability in the learning process. Therefore, the cooperative learning model type STAD can be considered an effective instructional strategy to enhance elementary school students’ early reading skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti permasalahan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan dan peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa setelah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) diterapkan melalui pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimental. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada skor siswa. Skor terendah naik dari 38 menjadi 75, dan skor tertinggi meningkat dari 69 menjadi 100. Analisis statistik menggunakan paired t-test juga mengonfirmasi adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan kolaborasi siswa di kelas eksperimen. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa, memberikan solusi yang teruji untuk masalah yang diteliti.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of financial attitudes and financial knowledge on the financial management behavior of students in the Faculty of Economics, Business Education Study Program, Medan State University, Class of 2023. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research sample consisted of 63 students selected using the total sampling technique. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results indicate that financial attitude has a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior, and financial knowledge also has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, financial attitudes and financial knowledge have a significant positive influence on students' financial management behavior. Thus, the better the financial attitude and financial knowledge possessed by students, the better their behavior in managing personal finances.

Abstract

Character education is crucial for shaping individual morals, especially for the younger generation. This article discusses the importance of incorporating Quranic and Hadith values ​​into character education, particularly in the digital era. This study investigates how Quranic values ​​can be applied in educational curricula and daily life, particularly to foster strong morality among adolescents. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Furthermore, it found that character education faces challenges in the digital world, such as the spread of negative information, hoaxes, and cyberbullying. Therefore, to avoid the negative impacts of technological advancements, it is crucial to use technology cautiously and implement Islamic moral values. Amidst rapid digital development, parents, educators, and the community have a crucial role in encouraging the younger generation to uphold noble moral values.
