Abstract

The general objective of this research is to describe the implementation of the collaborative supervision approach in improving the professional competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 48 Seluma. Meanwhile, the specific objectives of this research are: 1) To describe the process of collaborative supervision approach carried out by the principal of SMP Negeri 48 Seluma in improving the professional competence of teachers; 2) To describe the obstacles faced by the principal of SMP Negeri 48 Seluma in implementing a collaborative supervision approach to improve the professional competence of teachers; 3) To improve the professional competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 48 Seluma after the collaborative supervision approach was applied. The research method used in this study is the school action research method. Data collection techniques are carried out for data processing which is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The analytical technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The steps in the data analysis process are: data reduction, data display/presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The conclusion of this research in general is that the collaborative supervision approach process carried out by the principal of SMP Negeri 48 Seluma in improving the professional competence of teachers is going quite well. This is proven by the real actions taken by the principal in a systematic and programmed manner.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at the 41 Rejang Lebong State Elementary School. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were the Operators of the Rejang Lebong District Education Office, the Principal and Operator of the 41 Rejang Lebong State Elementary School, parents and students who received PIP. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the mechanism for inputting data for underprivileged students had been carried out according to the requirements, but not all students who met the criteria for obtaining PIP funds so that the utilization of PIP funds for equal distribution of education in 41 Rejang Lebong Elementary School was less than optimal.

Abstract

his research aims to determine the development of teachers’ professional competency, such as how teachers in Guru City from SMAN 1 apply good philosophical, psychological and sociological education foundations, apply learning theories, and use interesting learning methods according to the level of development of students, teachers can develop and use various tools, media, and related learning resources, teachers can evaluate students' learning outcomes, and how teachers at SMAN 1 Bengkulu City develop their skills and insights. The methods used are descriptive quantitative and survey methods. The population and sample are 50 civil servant teachers of SMAN 1 in Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that the professional competence of SMAN 1 teachers is well developed. Demonstrate their skills and insights in seminar activities/soft skills training. Suggestions are given to teachers that they must continue to develop their professional competences by honing their skills and insights in workshop activities / soft skills training.

Abstract

The focus of learning in SMK needs to emphasize the mastery of the skills, knowledge, attitudes and values ​​needed by the industry. The purpose of this study is to describe industrial-class management innovation (Planning, Implementation and Evaluation) in the Daihatsu Smart Joint Program (PPBD) in Vocational High Schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research based on the philosophy of postpositivism, to examine the condition of natural objects. The research object is Vocational School Negeri 4 Kepahiang in the Industrial-class Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Program Smart Program with Daihatsu. The research results obtained that the management of the industrial class begins with planning to collaborate between the school and the industry and continues with collaboration in the preparation of an industrial class curriculum between the SMK curriculum and industrial qualifications. Implementation management is adjusted to the curriculum that has been prepared with partner industries. The management of the industrial class program evaluation is carried out after the process of implementing the industrial class by both parties.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning management for mentally retarded children, in terms of planning, implementation, evaluation and skills learning barriers for mentally retarded children at SLB Negeri 1 Bengkulu City. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the principal, skills coordinator, and skills teacher. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation, where data will be analyzed by collecting, reducing, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the management of learning skills at SLBN 1 Bengkulu City was running as it should, namely by planning to determine learning programs through annual coordination meetings, student assessment tests, and preparation of lesson plans, preparing learning needs related to facilities and infrastructure using BOS budget funds and committees , the implementation of learning is carried out in accordance with the plan using the direct instruction method with teachers who support each skill learning, evaluation is carried out by giving students the opportunity to do internships at institutions outside the school that have partnered and also evaluates the skills learning programs that have been implemented. However, there are still obstacles, namely communication difficulties with students, teacher human resources whose educational background is not relevant, and school infrastructure, as well as rejection from partners where mentally retarded children carry out internships.

Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the effect of academic supervision and teamwork on the level of job satisfaction of junior high school teachers in Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency. The research sample was 50 teachers using a total sample. Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used statistical correlation test using Pearson product moment analysis and regression test. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive relationship between academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction, (2) There is a positive relationship between teamwork and teacher job satisfaction,(3) There is a joint relationship between academic supervision and teamwork with job satisfaction by 52% of yunior high school teachers in Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the performance of teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP N 11 Rejang Lebong. This research is a case study research. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Rejang Lebong Regency. Research data obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. Research data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion drawing. Results showed that teacher's performance in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP N 11 Rejang Lebong, among others, was seen from: (1) Teacher motivation was shown by the continuity of learning and teaching activities carried out online, teachers felt proud to be able to plan, implement, carry out assessments and follow-up in assignments as teachers, starting from the beginning of the entry of the Covid-19 virus until now; (2) Teacher discipline is shown by the implementation of the duties and obligations of teachers in online learning that has complied with the rules and ethics that apply in schools; (3) The professional competence of teachers is demonstrated by developing an online learning implementation plan (RPP), mastering learning materials, as well as developing teaching materials and online learning media; (4) The follow-up taken by the teacher is indicated by efforts to improve learning which will be carried out as an effort to improve the quality of learning. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that efforts should be made to increase teacher motivation in carrying out teacher duties in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the process of student management at Raudhatul Athfal Humaira’ Bengkulu city during pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were the Headmaster, teachers,and student’s parents. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that student management process at Raudhatul Athfal Humaira' can operate in accordance with government guidelines. Although there are still numerous flaws and problems that are out of our control in reality. Human resource development and comprehensive teacher preparation, including pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competencies, must continue to be prioritized. Particularly instructional and professional in nature. So that teachers are always prepared for changing situations and changes in the field of education.Solutions made by schools increase teacher knowledge through training and teacher group discussion forums.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the literacy program for reading and writing at the Bumi Makmur Junior High School, North Musi Rawas Regency. The method in this study is the type of evaluation research. Data collection techniques are observation interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used qualitative evaluation. The results of the study showed that in general it was running smoothly by making reading and writing habits in the reading corners of each class. The context aspect refers to the Permendikbud policy, the input aspect is that the principal, teachers and students have readiness to carry out reading and writing literacy, the process aspect is carried out in the morning literacy habituation 15 minutes before the learning process and the output is that students are more active and enthusiastic in taking lessons, accustomed to reading, write essays.
