Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the School Orientation Program (MPLS) at SMP Negeri 11 Kupang using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The method used is qualitative with an evaluative study type. The research subjects include the Vice Principal for Student Affairs and the Head of the MPLS Committee. The evaluation results show that: (1) contextually, the program aligns with school policy and needs; (2) in terms of input, sufficient resources are provided; (3) the process is systematic and well-organized; (4) the product shows all 320 admitted students successfully participated in the MPLS program

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah merubah cara mahasiswa memperoleh, mengolah, dan memanfaatkan informasi akademik. Kemampuan literasi digital merupakan keterampilan esensial yang memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ilmiah, terutama dalam penguasaan dan penerapan metodologi penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi digital terhadap kompetensi metodologi penelitian mahasiswa perguruan tinggi melalui kajian literatur terhadap artikel nasional dan internasional yang relevan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan analisis isi ( content analisis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep metodologi penelitian, mengakses sumber ilmiah berkualitas, mengelola referensi menggunakan software akademik, serta mengolah data menggunakan aplikasi analisis statistik dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian literasi digital dalam pembelajaran metodologi penelitian merupakan aspek krusial untuk meningkatkan mutu riset yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perguruan tinggi merancang kurikulum berbasis pembelajaran digital , memperluas dukungan sarana teknologi, serta menyelenggarakan pelatihan literasi digital secara intensif guna memperkuat kemampuan penelitian mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation of commitment, professional competence, and achievement motivation to the work productivity of teachers at state vocational schools in the city of Arga Makmur. The productivity of school organizations is largely influenced by teacher work productivity. Teacher work productivity should be an important concern because high and low teacher work productivity can affect the achievement of overall school organizational goals. Using a descriptive correlational quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys, documentation, and questionnaires with teachers at State Vocational Schools in Arga Makmur City, then analyzed using correlation techniques. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between commitment, professional competence, and achievement motivation to work productivity. In addition, the four variables together contribute significantly to teacher work productivity. This study emphasizes the importance of maintaining and improving commitment, professional competence, and achievement motivation to work productivity. The findings provide insights for principals, teachers, and aspiring educators.

Abstract

The research objective is to see the principal's strategy in improving a conducive organizational climate in SMA Negeri Surulangun which includes three aspects, namely the relationship between the principal and the teacher, the relationship between teachers, the relationship between the principal and the committee. The research method used a qualitative approach. The results of the research by principals applying an open communication system, involving school members in making decisions, providing opportunities for self-development, supervising motivation, holding teacher self-development support facilities, aligning teacher ratings when making decisions, providing equal opportunities to take further education, activity activities community, raising social assistance funds, involving community leaders in activities and supervision of students outside of school

Abstract

The description of this research are to : 1) Know conceptual skill, 2) human relationship skill, and 3) technical skill of principal in improving the quality of learning services in state Senior High school 3 Mukomuko. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive research design, with the type of case study research. The source of data in the research are school principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs and teachers. The technique of collecting data are through observation, interviews and documents studies. The technique of analyzing the data that is used in this research has four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and the last step is drawing conclusions and verification. The conclusions of this research are : 1) the principal has the concept that quality improvement can be achieved with the support of the right strategy and accuracy in making decisions, in planning work programs. 2). As a leader who is skilled in collaborating with others, the principal has been able to establish good communication, give appreciation to outstanding subordinates, create a comfortable work atmosphere, provide role models to subordinates, provide guidance in carrying out tasks and involve teachers in making various decisions. 3) the principal has been fully responsible for the supervision process and is directly involved in efforts to provide assistance to teachers in classroom management, as a form of technical skill ability.

Abstract

This study investigates the management practices of the computer laboratory at SMP Negeri 14 Lubuk Linggau and its impact on improving digital literacy. The research delves into various aspects, including the laboratory's condition, usage planning, activity implementation, effectiveness evaluation, and the factors influencing its management. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings revealed that the laboratory's management is suboptimal, with inadequate planning. While the laboratory is effectively used for activities like the ANBK exam and ICT classes, the evaluation process lacks a systematic approach due to the absence of regular reports. Several challenges hinder the laboratory's optimal functioning, including unstable electricity, insufficient funding, and limited teacher involvement. However, the laboratory benefits from an adequate number of computers and additional equipment. This research aims to contribute to the improvement of computer laboratory management, thereby fostering enhanced digital literacy and overall learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership style of school principals to improve teacher discipline, which includes the authoritarian leadership style of school principals, the democratic leadership style of school principals, and the laissez-faire leadership style of school principals to improve teacher discipline. The method used is qualitative descriptive with techniques of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The research results are as follows: 1) The authoritarian leadership style of the principals of SD Negeri 39 and 43 in South Bengkulu is not used as the primary pattern but rather as a situational strategy applied when conditions demand firmness, full control, and quick decisions, especially in dealing with repeated disciplinary violations, emergency situations, or conflicts among teachers. 2) Democratic leadership style is applied by the principals at SD Negeri 39 and SDN 43 in South Bengkulu and has proven effective in improving teacher discipline while fostering a collaborative work culture. This leadership style is demonstrated through open communication, active teacher participation in policy formulation, and decision-making based on consensus. 3) The laissez-faire leadership style of the principals at SDN 39 Bengkulu Selatan and SDN 43 Bengkulu Selatan is implemented selectively and adaptively in accordance with the conditions of the teachers and the needs of the school. This leadership style is considered effective when applied to teachers who possess high professionalism, discipline, and independence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the productivity of learning communities in improving learning management at SDN Taba Renah, Musi Rawas Regency, focusing on lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. The findings indicate that learning communities play a significant role in developing teaching modules, integrating technology, and facilitating reflective teaching practices. Supporting factors include school leadership support and teacher collaboration, while challenges involve disparities in technological proficiency and limited time for peer observation. Overall, the learning community at SDN Taba Renah has made a positive contribution to learning management and supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning process of deep learning management at Elementary School Negeri 84 Bengkulu Selatan which includes planning, implementation, evaluation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the impact of deep learning management on learning outcomes, motivation, and the development of higher order thinking skills. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study were: 1). Planning is done through teacher meetings, learning objectives are adjusted to the independent curriculum, contextual materials, and flexible learning time for exploration and discussion.2). The implementation of deep learning uses project-based learning, inquiry, group discussions, experiments, and presentations. Students are actively involved through problem solving and collaboration. 3). Evaluation uses portfolios, rubrics, observation, and self-assessment. Results are used for feedback and learning improvement..4). The management of deep learning is supported by the principal, teachers, adequate facilities, parents' involvement, the obstacles are time constraints, lack of teacher training, and differences in students' abilities. 5). Improve learning outcomes, motivation, creativity, and students' critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Abstract

This study to analyze the utilization of Belajar.id accounts in enhancing the quality of Social Studies learning at SMP Negeri 03 Bengkulu Tengah. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the optimal use of Belajar.id accounts significantly improves Social Studies teachers' access to various digital learning resources, strengthens digital learning interactions, and enhances teachers' creativity in designing interactive teaching materials. The novelty of this research lies in the development of practical strategies for utilizing Belajar.id accounts to support Social Studies learning processes at the junior high school level. This study provides practical recommendations for school administrators and Social Studies teachers to optimize the use of Belajar.id accounts in order to improve learning quality in the digital era.
