Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of daily physical activity with the quality of life of breast cancer survivors. The research design used is correlative with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed 53.9% of respondents aged > 60 years, 50.6% of respondents had higher education, 61.8% of respondents did not work, 49.1% of stage IIIA respondents, 55.1% of respondents had moderate daily physical activity, and 73,0% of respondents have a reasonable quality of life. Most respondents have moderate physical activity, 55.1%, with most of the quality of life being 73.0%. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that (p-value = 0.034). In conclusion, there is a relationship between daily physical activity and the quality of life of breast cancer survivors at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Abstract

This study aims to determine the average fatigue score in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment at RSUP. Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the respondent's level of fatigue is 28.78, with a minimum value of 19 and a maximum of 37 using 95% CI. If categorized as 66.6% of respondents experienced moderate fatigue, and as many as 33.4% experienced severe fatigue. In conclusion, the average value of the respondents' fatigue level mainly was in the intermediate fatigue category, and almost half of them were extreme fatigue. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the role of health workers and families in teenage pregnancy in the Kepahiang District in 2021. This study is a quantitative descriptive study using a cross-sectional design. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the respondents were aged 30-34 years (25.8%), there were 53 people (60.2%) who experienced pregnancy in their teens (<19 years), most of the respondents were 53 people (60.2 %) had sufficient family roles, as many as 66 people (75%) stated that the part of health workers was included in the excellent category. Respondents who indicated that they had a family role in the superb category out of 53 mainly were 39 people or 73.6% who experienced teenage pregnancy, respondents who stated the position of health workers in the excellent category were almost all of the respondents or as many as 15 people (78.9%) who experienced teenage pregnancy. Data analysis with a chi-square statistical test was obtained (p-value) (0.125). The variable of the role of parents and the incidence of pregnancy in adolescents with p-value = 0.000 In conclusion, there is no relationship between the part of health workers and the incidence of teenage pregnancy in Kepahiang Regency in 2021. There is a relationship between the role of the respondent's parents with the incidence of adolescent pregnancy, and there is no relationship between the part of health workers with the incidence of teenage pregnancy. Abstract

This study aims to determine the local government's policy of Kepahiang Regency to prevent the practice of early marriage during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. This research method uses in-depth analysis techniques. The results show that the incidence of early marriage in Kepahiang Regency in 2019–September 2021 tends to increase from 15.9% to 44.9%, an increase of 29%. Adolescents who marry under the age of 19 years are mostly, or as much as 73.5% are adolescents of the female gender. In conclusion, several policies have been set by the local government of Kepahiang Regency, including the implementation of a Child-Friendly Regency, with a target focus on efforts to protect children and women, one of which is the prevention of child marriage, the use of Android-based information technology in efforts to protect children and women through reporting via smartphones. Efforts to provide health services to adolescents in the form of counseling services and various services related to adolescent health, efforts to increase community participation and empowerment in improving teenage health, policies to increase adolescent knowledge, especially school-age adolescents, about efforts to prevent early marriage. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between consuming blood-added tablets and anemia in pregnant women in the Kepahiang District. The research design used in this study was quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design. The results showed that most or as many as 56 people (55.4%) had a positive attitude towards the incidence of anemia. As many as 61 people (60.4%) had irregularly consumed blood-added tablets. Almost entirely or as many as 82 people (81.2%) experienced anemia, regular consumption of blood-added pills with anemia showed that 61 respondents who did not regularly consume blood tablets in total or as many as 60 respondents (98.4%) experienced anemia. In conclusion, there is a relationship between consuming blood-added pills with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Keywords: Anemia, Pregnant Women, Blood Add Tablets

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of antenatal care service policies for pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic in Kepahiang Regency using Edward III's theory. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive design. The results showed that communication between health workers and pregnant women, husbands, or families in implementing antenatal care activities for pregnant women was relatively smooth. Human resources from health workers implementing antenatal care activities were available according to needs, disposition, and bureaucratic structure in service implementation. During the Covid-19 pandemic in Kepahiang Regency, antenatal care for pregnant women went well. In conclusion, in general, the performance of antenatal care service policies for pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Kepahiang Regency went well. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of low-impact aerobics and slow deep breathing on changes in blood pressure in patients with hypertension in the working area of Antang Public Health Center Makassar City. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test-post-test design. The results showed that the low-impact aerobic exercise intervention group decreased systolic blood pressure by five mmHg and diastolic by 7.86 mmHg. In comparison, the slow deep breathing group experienced a decrease in systolic blood pressure by 12.14 mmHg and diastolic by five mmHg. In conclusion, low impact aerobic exercise and slow deep breathing effectively lower blood pressure. Keywords: Hypertension, Low Impact Aerobic Gymnastics, Slow Deep Berathing

Abstract

This study aims to explore the self-management of hypertensive patients during treatment in the Mamboro Public Health Center Work Area. The research method in this study is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study consisted of six themes, namely diet, physical activity, smoking, antihypertensive medication, blood pressure checks, and social support. Participants have tried to be able to maintain self-management in controlling blood pressure through a healthy lifestyle and adhere to antihypertensive medication but there are some obstacles that caused the participants to not comply with the advice given by health workers such as side effects, long-term treatment. Participants know that Moringa leaves have properties to lower blood pressure but the processing is still not appropriate. In conclusion, increasing understanding to improve self-management of hypertensive patients is appropriate to control blood pressure through the development of self-management improvement modules. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of foot massage and joint mobility exercises on the value of ABI in type 2 DM patients. The quantitative research used a quasi-experimental approach with pre-test and post-test designs with two intervention groups. The results showed that the Wilcoxon signed ranks test statistic on 20 respondents in the two intervention groups showed a difference after being given foot massage and joint mobility exercises intervention on the ABI value, with each p-value (p = 0.00). In conclusion, foot massage and joint mobility exercises effectively improve peripheral circulation and increase ABI values in Type 2 DM patients. Abstract

This study examines the effect of Android-based breastfeeding counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic and the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The research design used in this study was experimental with a controlled trial design. The results showed that exclusive breastfeeding was 2.06 times more in the intervention group (android-based breastfeeding counseling) than in the control group (RR=2.06; 95% CI). In conclusion, the proportion of exclusive breastfeeding to mothers who received Android-based breastfeeding counseling was more significant than that of mothers who did not receive Android-based counseling.
