Abstract

Appreciation of employee performance is needed in a company to improve the quality of performance and enthusiasm for work for employees. One of them is PT. Olew Plasindo Jaya Makmur is engaged in cosmetic packaging distributors. This company gives appreciation in the form of bonuses to its employees. The calculation of the existing bonuses uses several criteria such as the employee's tenure and the employee's net salary. From the criteria obtained, it can be calculated using the Tsukamoto method, then creating decisions in the form of few and many variables. After the variable decision is obtained, it will produce a nominal employee bonus. The calculation of each variable is in an employee payroll information system called SIPEKA.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to determine the effect of the use of the Learning Management System on student learning outcomes of SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga. The sample of this research was 36 people. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression with a significance level of α = 5% (0.05). Based on the results of the research, the simple linear test calculation of t statistics obtained a significance of 0.000 and a tcount of 6.920, this shows that there is an effect of the use of the Learning Management System on Learning Outcomes. Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that the use of the Learning Management System has an effect on student learning outcomes of SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many attempts have been made to predict cases of additional patients, deaths and other medical indicators using various methods. Several forecast projects as well as predictions have influenced policies in several regions including DKI Jakarta. However, forecasts or predictions for the Covid-19 pandemic are uncertain. On this occasion, I predicted the cure for Covid-19 using the Exponential Smoothing method. This method is a moving average forecasting method that gives weight exponentially or stratified to the data, so that the latest data will get a greater weight. The monitoring results obtained from this study amounted to 0.89 or 89% for the cure rate and 0.64 or 64% for the mortality rate. With this method, it can make it easier to see the progress of the Covid-19 cure rate.

Abstract

Abstrak Abstrak —Perkembangan teknologi yang cepat memberi dampak positif atas inovasi-inovasi yang berbasis teknologi. Khususnya pada tata kelola administrasi telah berubah dari konvensional menjadi sistem. Peran teknologi sangat penting pada perubahan ini. Terlihat pada Fakultas Matimatika dan IPA Universitas Semarang mengubah tata kelola pelayanan arsip berbasis web. Sistem ini menggunakan metode Alphabetical Filling dan metode Chonology System. Dimana metode ini berguna untuk memudahkan penemuan data arsip berdasarkan abjad dan tanggal upload berkas. Sedangkan pada pengembangan E-Arsip menggunakan metode pemgembangan Rapid Application Development (RAD) dimana terdapat 3 proses atau langkah kerja yang membuat sistem dapat terselesaikan dalam waktu yang singkat.

Abstract

The Viola-Jones algorithm is one of the algorithms that is often used to detect faces. Human face recognition system is an important technology that functions as a security system, control system, and others. This is in accordance with the research objective, namely to determine the application of the Viola-Jones algorithm in detecting the use of Covid-19 masks at the Indonesian Railways Polytechnic Madiun. The method used is to analyze digital cctv technology by capturing an object that requires information on an object. In the face detection research method using the Viola-Jones algorithm method. The results of this study indicate that there is success in detecting surrounding faces at a distance of 1-2m with an accuracy rate of 95.5% and an error of 4.5% in recognizing human faces.

Abstract

Technology creates and transforms learning and teaching processes, which bring new opportunities to the education system. There is a need to start changing educational programs according to developments in computer science. Currently, the government is trying to teach students programming in creative tasks and problem-solving. However, not all students have good programming skills because some have no experience with programming or other factors, especially if the learning process is done online. In the era of COVID-19, all learning processes are carried out online, which creates new problems for teaching staff to deliver material effectively. So that with this problem, the researchers began to observe how the process of new students learning programming so that they had very satisfying scores in programming courses. To achieve this goal, this article uses a visual ethnographic method, namely by using photos and daily interviews with informants to tell what they do daily. This research shows that students can learn programming well if they are often given tasks to solve programming problems individually so that they are required to think with their own logic to improve their programming skills.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company that offers third-party audits to provide natural resources and environmental certification services. In running its company, PT XYZ has the main services in the certification function, namely Certification Audit and Legality Document Issuance. Along with the advancement of information and communication technology, PT XYZ has several obstacles and needs the right information technology strategy to solve the problem. The ineffective exchange of data is one of the obstacles that occur in the certification function that causes customer complaints about the speed of service. In this study will discuss the design of Enterprise Architecture as a strategy in optimizing processes and technologies using TOGAF ADM. The design starts from preliminary phase, architecture vision, business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, opportunities and solution, and migration planning. With the blueprint and IT Roadmap as the result of this research, it is expected to help PT XYZ in solving its problems segaligus into a strategy in optimizing the right processes and technologies.

Abstract

A business process is a series of interrelated steps assigned to each stakeholder for a specific job to deliver a product or service to a customer. One of the business processes at the Office of Youth and Sports (DISPORA) of Salatiga is the activity of borrowing buildings. So far, the process of borrowing buildings is still done manually, causing an obstacle in scheduling loans and in payments. Based on previous research, it shows that the use of the scrum method is very suitable to be applied in the development or development of information systems because the scrum method has advantages, namely in speed or in a short time. With the creation of a web-based Sports Center Information System (SIGORA), it can help overcome the problems that exist in DISPORA because with this Information System, scheduling can be done automatically and payments can be made by transfer making it easier for employees and customers.

Abstract

In this rapid technological development, there are still at least some machine translators from regional languages ​​to Indonesian. Therefore, this paper discusses to make a statistical translation machine for the Muna language into Indonesian because at least there are still at least a Muna translation machine into Indonesian. The approach used a statistically based using parallel corpus. In this study, the data taken came from a book entitled Folklore of Buton and Muna in Southeast Sulawesi and several folklore articles on the internet. The number of parallel corpus used is 1050 sentence lines and the monolingual corpus is 1351 sentence lines. The scenarios that will be carried out in this experiment are divided into two scenarios. Scenario 1 is testing on the parallel corpus (training) which is tested using the available sentence lines and these sentence lines will be added to each experiment, while the rest of the sentence lines that are owned will be used in the parallel corpus (testing). In scenario 2, the test is carried out by comparing the lines of the monolingual corpus sentences after subtracting and adding sentences. In order for scenario 2 to run, accuracy is needed in scenario 1 which is the best. The test was carried out 6 times using BLEU (Bilingual Evaluation Understudy) tools. From the results of the tests carried out, the best accuracy value is 29.83%.
