Abstract

Village asset management is an alternative that can be carried out by the village government, to maximize the creation of prosperity for village communities, good asset management, can open business opportunities for village communities, so as to create economically productive activities. This study aims to reveal the extent of the efforts made by the village administration to carry out an inventory of assets. This research uses descriptive qualitative type, using primary and secondary data sources, in the form of interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were the Village Head, Village Secretary and also Village Officials, with a purposive sampling model on the basis that these informants were directly involved actors so that they provided a lot of important information. The results of this study show that the process of inventorying assets does not come from the initiation of the village government, but from the local government and is top down in nature, in carrying out the process it only reaches the reporting process and is only administrative in nature. Apart from that, there are obstacles related to government human resources in charge of asset inventory, so that it has not had much effect on people's welfare.

Abstract

The Regional Rice Program (Rasda) is an innovation program carried out by the Government of Malinau Regency to empower the community as an effort to improve people's welfare. The aim of the research is to analyze program implementation, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors for this program. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach, data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and studying reports or documents related to research. Researchers analyzed it using the implementation theory put forward by Van Mater and Van Horm. Because of the theory of Van Meter and Van Horn. The results of the research analysis show that the implementation of the Rasda program in general can be carried out well. In terms of standards and policy targets, the Rasda program has been regulated in the form of District Head Regulations, District Head Decrees, and guidebooks. In terms of resources, the implementation of the Rasda program is supported by and through subsidy spending from the APBD (Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget) of Malinau Regency in the amount of IDR 5,000,000,000.00 (five billion rupiahs) annually. Aspects of communication with the existence of an effective coordination system starting from the village, sub-district, up to the district level. The disposition aspect in the form of delegating monitoring and supervision tasks to the village government supported by the provision of honorariums can increase accountability for the implementation of the Rasda program. Characteristic aspects have been realized through the District Rasda Team which consists of eight OPD (Regional Apparatus Organizations) and Perumda (Regional Public Company) Intimung. Aspects of the social, economic and political environment show that the Rasda program is able to help meet food needs. The factor that supports the implementation of the Rasda program is the district head's high commitment to production and distribution. The inhibiting factors are limited regional rice productivity and limited facilities, infrastructure, and facilities.

Abstract

The background of this research is to find out how public acceptance and understanding of the news of the Indonesian Presidency in the massive G20 Summit on three news portals in the news period 14-16 November 2022. This study aims to analyze the objectivity of the Indonesian Presidency's news coverage of the G20 Summit from three news portals: cnnindonesia.com, detik.com, and kompas.com. This research was conducted quantitatively using content analysis methods using agenda setting theory, namely objectivity in journalism. Quantitative analysis is used to determine the credibility of a news with the theory of objectivity of mass media reporting using the supporting theory of Mc'Quail, McQuail's Mass Communication Theory. The data was obtained by monitoring and recording on three news portals, namely: cnnindonesia.com, kompas.com, and detik.com during the G20 Summit of the Indonesian Presidency during the news period 14-16 November 2022. The selection of these three news portals is based on the fact that the three news portals are at the forefront of news portal reporting. Content analysis research needs to be done carefully and systematically, because the results obtained can act as causes, preceding various processes, effects, and uses for specific interests. Some content analysis results are a picture of reality that can be used to describe a group or phenomenon. News objectivity is divided into three dimensions that represent, namely: public expectations (news about/comes from the public, government, politics, and media), professional opinion (types of informative news, entertainment, education), and journalistic ethics (news about Indonesia, non-Indonesia, and neutral). The score calculation results stated that the highest score for public expectations came from news from the media; the highest scores of professional opinion classify the types of informative news; and journalistic ethics state that the highest score is news about Indonesia. This research can be continued using other concepts such as news accuracy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the social changes that occur in the cultural dimension of post-harvest rites in Tabanan Regency and their impact on economic growth in Tabanan Regency. The reason for this case being chosen is because the agricultural cultural rites in Bali have experienced many shifts, but no one has conducted research regarding the changes that have occurred from the post-harvest rites by comparing their implementation in the past with the present. This research uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques use literature studies and in-depth interviews where the meta data is taken from books, online journals, and other references as well as the results of interviews with several informants consisting of traditional leaders, the people of Tabanan Regency who are still farming, and assistants regent of Tabanan. This research is analyzed using the concept of social change in the cultural dimension put forward by Himes & Moore by looking at the forms of integration that occur, as well as changes in the dimensions of time, process and impact. The results of the study showed that there was a change in the form of the post-rice harvest rite which was originally complex, now it becomes simpler by removing some of the elements in it. Nevertheless, these changes have had a good impact on economic growth in Tabanan Regency.

Abstract

This research will explore the role and involvement of the indigenous people, the Dayak Tribe, in resolving the problem of wildfire and transboundary haze pollution. This article's case study will focus on Kapuas Hulu, Kalimantan Barat. The research aims to explain indigenous people's participation in resolving transboundary haze pollution in West Borneo. This article will use qualitative methods and a descriptive approach. Data collection and analysis will be done through 1) observation to map the actors involved in resolving transboundary haze pollution, 2) interviews with actors affected by transboundary haze pollution, and 3) assessment to clarify data and secondary sources from the government. The research concludes that the involvement of the Dayak People as an indigenous tribe in West Kalimantan is relatively minimum in solving the transboundary haze pollution. Government programs focusing on transboundary haze pollution should engage with Indigenous tribes actively and deliberately.

Abstract

The film Mulan by Niki Caro tells the story of the struggle of a girl named Hua Mulan who disguises herself as a man to replace her sick father by joining the military service to protect the country from attacks by the Rouran Nation based on a decree issued by the Chinese empire. This study aims to get a description of how the moral values ​​contained in the main character Mulan are reflected in every action she takes. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative because this research describes, explains and analyzes the data to answer each existing problem formulation. The data collection technique in this research was by watching the film Mulan, paying attention and recording every dialogue/sentence related to moral values. The writer then analyzes the research data based on the theory of moral values ​​which mentioned by Suseno (1987).The results of the study show that the character Mulan reflects moral values consisting of honesty, being yourself, being responsible, moral independence, moral courage, humility and criticality. As the main character, Mulan already reflects moral values that can be the basis and guide for human life in life.

Abstract

Political participation is an individual activity that may affect a country's or government's political policy. Political participation in democracy takes many forms, such as voting, establishing a political group, engaging in legal or illegal protests, campaign involvement, discussing politics offline or online, or becoming a political party member. The term political participation in this study refers to voting participation. Voter participation is important because it creates a political and democratic climate that encourages people to participate actively in state administration. To determine strategies and policies to increase voter participation, what factors can influence someone to vote can be seen. One factor that influences a person's desire to participate in politics is a person's socioeconomic status. Therefore, this study examines how Socioeconomic Status (SES) influences political participation. Political participation in this study is seen from whether the permanent voters (DPT) exercise their right to vote in the 2020 gubernatorial election. The SES consists of socioeconomic status, which is seen from: demographic background (social status, including age, ethnicity, educational background, and religion); economic status of the average income of voters per month. Krejcie Morgan sampling method, 384 respondents were processed with Eviews 11 software using logit regression model analysis. This study found three variables significantly affect the dependent variable: Ethnic, residential election participation, and trust level in the candidate. This study recommends that the strategies used in the efforts to enhance political participation of the Riau Islands community in the regional head election are: forming volunteers democracy, dividing four segments of socialization, improving the quality of the organizing committee resources by conducting technical guidance, aggressively achieving political socialization, political publications, and the delivery of the stages of the elections using various social media platform. Moreover, implementing Good Governance will produce output from society's most economical market mechanisms. Thus, it is expected that people's political awareness will be enhanced.

Abstract

Chinese Indonesian has a very diverse culture. On the other hand, people who are interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture in Indonesia are also increasing. Chinese Indonesian community contributes and has a big role in Indonesian history. The learning media used to study Chinese culture are very diverse, one of which is using documentary films. The purpose of this research is to find out the Chinese Indonesian community values that can be learned by the general public from the film "Once Upon a Time in Chinatown", as well as to identify how the film can be used as a medium for learning the culture of the Indonesian Chinese community. Researchers uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the cultural data of the Chinese Indonesian in each episode of the documentary film. The result of this research show that a lot of Chinese culture, especially in the culinary field, has been acculturated with Indonesian culture, has given a new color to Indonesian culture and other aspects of life. This documentary film fulfills the characteristics of documentary films as a Chinese Indonesian culture learning media because it prioritizes conveying the reality and processes of past events as scientific information, conveying messages, positive mental attitudes, and norms that should be imitated.

Abstract

In this era of development, change in the organization is a must. Organizations must innovate and stay up to date in accordance with the demands and needs of the times so that the predetermined performance program can be carried out properly. The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on organizational performance, with organizational commitment as a connecting variable. This study used a census or saturated sampling method with a sample of 59 respondents. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using the 3.0 program. The results of the study show that leadership style and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. In addition, leadership style and organizational culture also affect organizational commitment. Organizational commitment also has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. In addition, organizational commitment also acts as a mediator mediating the positive and significant influence of leadership style and organizational culture on organizational performance.

Abstract

Angkasa Pura II Palembang is an international airport that is quite good in development seen from neat, clean tenant arrangements, good security, and adequate facilities. In implementing good airport operations, it is necessary to pay attention to how to build good relations between Angkasa Pura II managers, especially the Airside Operation Unit and the airlines. This study aims to identify and describe the organizational communication of the Angkasa Pura II Operations Unit in building good relations with Citilink's partner airlines. The theory used is the theory of organizational communication and partnerships. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 2 people, including 1 OASA Manager and 1 Manager. Data collection techniques use primary data, namely interviews, and secondary data, namely observation, documentation and literature study. The technique of analysis and testing the validity of the data uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the Airside Operation Communication Unit through various activities, namely meetings, meetings, morning coffee, community airlines (AOS), safety activities, Strategy Incentive Screen, Free-Lends. Keep in touch, both via e-mail and face to face. As well as regular meetings held once or twice a month. The partnership implemented by Angkasa Pura II and Citilink is a Potential Partnership. In this type of partnership, the partners care about each other but have not worked closely together.
