Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a phenomenon and strategies used by the company to accommodate the needs of stakeholder (Santoso, 2016). One of the agencies implementing CSR is KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat. The purpose of this research is to discover the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in Bank Indonesia Mengajar Program by KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat. The method used in this research is descriptive study with qualitative approach and paradigm of positivistic. The technique of data collected by through in-depth interview, observation, documentation and literature study. This research showed that in the planning phase of Bank Indonesia Mengajar Program was in line with various aspects such as the program implementation regulation was listed in “Peraturan Dewan Gubernur No.14/14/PDG/2012 concerning about PSBI Program”, the vision and mission of Bank Indonesia. However, KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat was not doing a research as a part of planning phase. In implementation phase of Bank Indonesia Mengajar Program, has been running well. The obstacles in implementing program just only occurred in technical matters. In the checking phase, KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat do the checking with the form of a report and given the report to two parties, namely internal leaders and external stakeholder. Last in the evaluation phase, evaluation carried out after the program was done. The evaluation carried out in two forms, that is formal evaluation do in the form of meeting with leaders and non-formal in the form of discussions with the implementing team. However, in the evaluation phase stakeholder were not involved. Suggestion for KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat, it would be better if they are do the research as a part of planning program and involves the stakeholders in the evaluation phase of Bank Indonesia Mengajar program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan persepsi masyarakat Surabaya mengenai isi pemberitaan persyaratan perjalanan dalam negeri pada masa pandemi di media online. Berdasarkan pantauan pemerintah pada akhir tahun 2021 bahswasannya gerakan vaksinasi telah memenuhi target dan kasus penyebaran Covid-19 sudah terkontrol. Sehingga terjadi pelonggaran mobilitas yang dimanfatakan masyarakat untuk melakukan kegiatan bepergian ke luar kota, mengingat sebelumnya pemerintah melanggar masyarakatnya untuk bepergian. Agar penyebaran kasus tetap terkontrol, pemerintah memperketat aturan atau syarat yang harus dipenuhi masyarakat sebelum bepergian yang tercantum melalui Surat Edaran Satgas Covid-19 Nomor 21 Tahun 2021. Selang beberapa hari kemudian, pemerintah kembali memperbarui persyartan perjalanan melalui Surat Edaran Menteri Perhubungan No. 90, lalu adanya pembaruan kembali melalui Surat Edaran Satgas Covid-19 Nomor 22 Tahun 2021. Perubahan kebijakan yang beberapa kali terjadi dalam waktu dekat tersebut menjadi fenomena sosial yang mengundang pro dan kontra sehingga menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini menggambarkan persepsi masyrakat Surabaya dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriktif. Data primer didapatkan dengan mewawancarai delapan informan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam dari delapan informan tergolong persepsi negatif karena menyatakan ketidakefektifan persyartan, sedangkan dua informan lainnya tergolong persepsi positif karena berpendapat persyartan tersebut efektif.

Abstract

Abstrak Iklan menjadi alat promosi yang juga dapat menyebarkan ideologi, gaya hidup, dan budaya yang mempengaruhi pembentukan persepsi publik. Salah satu masalah dalam iklan adalah bias representasi gender dalam iklan. Sebelumnya Pria dalam iklan dicitrakan sebagai makhluk yang kokoh dan tangguh. Di sisi lain, wanita sebagai makhluk yang lemah lembut dan anggun. Namun saat ini konsep gender dalam iklan telah berubah, seperti pada iklan kosmetik Nature Republic yang menggunakan model pria yaitu idola K-pop EXO sebagai model iklannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana citra seorang pria ditampilkan dalam sebuah iklan kosmetik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dengan objek penelitian yaitu iklan kosmetik Nature Republic “12 Shades of Light” yang terdiri dari 6 versi video. Penelitian ini menampilkan berbagai citra yang divisualisasikan melalui gaya rambut, efek pencahayaan, warna, gaya pakaian, ekspresi, dan gestur tubuh. Diantaranya adalah citra pria cantik, pria gentleman, pria flamboyan, pria anggun, pria misterius, pria lugu, pria sensual, pria menawan, pria imut, pria baik, pria pemberani dan citra dari seorang pria seksi. Gambar-gambar ini menunjukkan standar baru dalam maskulinitas. Bahwa kini, penampilan yang rapi dan penampilan fisik yang prima merupakan hal yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang pria. Kosmetik menjadi kebutuhan para pria masa kini untuk menunjang penampilan mereka. Gambar-gambar yang ditampilkan menunjuk pada jenis pria maskulinitas lembut ini menunjukkan bagaimana media menetapkan standar baru untuk pria. Pria bisa menjaga penampilan dan menunjukkan sisi lembutnya. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa gender merupakan hasil konstruksi sosial yang akan terus berubah dari waktu ke waktu. Abstract

A Key Opinion Leader (KOL) is someone who has the ability to persuade a group of people with knowledge and communication messages. The existence of this KOL is used by brands in improving marketing and public relations. This is crucial for the development of businesses that currently use social media a lot as a means of brand promotion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the use of KOL for Marketing Public Relations strategies on social media, especially on Instagram. This study will examine the theories of KOL itself as well as the theory of marketing public relations and analyze the strategy with KOL Specialists to determine its effectiveness. This study uses a qualitative method with interview data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that the KOL strategy chosen by Batagor Acan has been effective with a significant impact in terms of sales and brand awareness, by taking 2 considerations as one way to choose the right KOL: active followers and the message. In addition, using the ideal form of KOL cooperation for culinary brands such as the distribution of discount coupons and customer testimonials to be able to detect KOL’s performance. Abstract

Research on the representation of moral messages in the film Better Days 2020 by Derek Tsang examines the film's story about the story of a teenage girl who is often bullied at school and involved in a murder case with her friend. This study aims to gain an understanding of the moral messages contained in the film Better Days 2020 by Derek Tsang. The method used is qualitative, with a semiotic analysis approach of Roland Barthes. The object of this research is the film Better Days 2020, which produces the findings that: Signs in the scene in the film Better Days are semiotically displayed in realistic audio, visuals, graphics, text, and motion; The markers in each film scene are interpreted in a straightforward manner as they are; and Signs in this film are interpreted interpretively, so that the general representation of this film explores the problems of physical and mental stress in life that befell school youth from a poor environmental background, with a moral message that no matter how strong and resilient the human personality is in dealing with pressure, physically and mentally, if they are not supported by their environment, they will experience bad luck too, but as bad as fate befalls a person, it will be better for those who remain strong and endure it than those who do not have the strength and resilience.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has paralyzed various sectors in Bali, especially the tourism sector. The recovery of various tourism destinations after the pandemic is a responsibility for tourism actors and all levels of society. One of the recovery steps taken is to carry out the Guwang Village Festival. The implementation of the Guwang Village Festival aims to revive several tourist destinations in Guwang village, as well as introduce various works of art from Guwang Village SMEs. This study uses a qualitative approach, with three data collection technique which include observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The results of this study are that promoting the Guwang Village Festival is carried out using the AIDDA communication model consisting of Awareness, Interest, Desire, Decision, and Action. The use of the AIDDA communication model was carried out through the use of Instagram social media so that the Guwang Village Festival managed to get 10.000 visits. Utilization od social media is done by presenting information, conducting social interactions, and providing entertainment facilities. Keywords: Marketing Communication, Social Media

Abstract

Perempuan nelayan merupakan salah satu bagian terpenting dalam masyarakat pesisir. Keterlibatan perempuan nelayan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan domestik baik dalam keluarga dan masyarakat menjadi salah satu bagian dari keterlibatan peran dan kedudukan kaum perempuan baik pada sisi sosial, ekonomi maupun budaya. Oleh karena hal tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat konstruksi sosial yang didapatkan oleh perempuan nelayan dari lingkungan sekitar. Dilihat dari peran dan kedudukannya perempuan nelayan Karangantu mengalami beberapa pergeseran budaya, seperti perubahan peran dan kedudukannya sebagai seorang istri dan adanya peran ganda yang dibebankan pada perempuan nelayan Karangantu. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode etnometodologi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dilihat dari manfaat penelitian, kajian mengenai perempuan nelayan dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai adanya peran dan kedudukan yang signifikan dari perempuan migran terhadap peningkatan ekonomi keluarga dan masyarakat pesisir. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa terdapat konstruksi sosial terkait dengan peran dan kedudukan perempuan nelayan dalam posisinya sebagai seorang istri. Pembagian peran dan kedudukan tersebut, pada akhirnya membagi peran diantara kaum laki-laki dan perempuan pada masyarakat pesisir, dimana kaum laki-laki berada pada sektor publik sedangkan perempuan berada pada sektor domestik. Dari adanya konstruksi sosial yang digambarkan, baik dari keluarga maupun masyarakat, membentuk adanya makna diri terhadap perempuan nelayan akan peran dan kedudukan dalam keluarga maupun masyarakat, sehingga membentuk adanya pergerasan nilai-nilai budaya dalam masyarakat Karangantu.

Abstract

Loka Po'o is a traditional ritual of the Lio’s which held at the beginning of every planting season. This ritual is believed to be a bridge to convey requests for the fertility of plantation land, rice fields. The Loka Po’o ritual is also a thanksgiving ritual to Du'a Lulu Wula Ngga'e wena land (God Ruler of the Universe) for the harvest obtained in the previous planting season. The ritual is a proof of the rich tradition of the people of Koro Bhera Village needs to be preserved by the younger generation. The researcher examines this ritual from the perspective of communication science, especially the analysis of symbolic and social values. The result, Loka Po'o ritual contains a wealth of positive values in social life, namely: mutual cooperation, mutual assistance, and religious values.

Abstract

Abstract Ethnic marriage is a form of relationship between men and women who come from two different ethnic groups/races. Inter-ethnic marriages that occur of course go through many previous adaptation processes that exceed the process of adapting one-ethnic marriages, especially in terms of language and daily communication styles. The goal of this study was to ascertain how interethnic marriages between the Javanese and Minang ethnic groups affected the communication patterns. The Joseph A. Devito hypothesis of family communication patterns is used in this study's qualitative descriptive methodology. Four pairs of informants were interviewed in-depth as part of the used data collection technique. The communication equality pattern, balanced split pattern, and unbalanced split pattern are the three patterns that best describe the study's findings. One pair of informants agrees that the communication pattern they generate in the equation is truthful, open, direct, and free of opinion expression. There is also one pair of informants that claim to have authority over each area in their contacts with their spouses, such as the woman taking care of the children and cooking while the husband is responsible for earning a living, in a separate balanced communication pattern. Meanwhile, in a separate unbalanced communication pattern, there are two pairs of informants who agree that in the household there is only one individual who is dominant in decision making. However, in the monopoly pattern of communication, none of the eight informants represent the definition of this communication pattern because neither party feels monopolized. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui bagaimana makna lukisan pada damar kurung dapat menjadi representasi nilai dan citra Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori pembentukan citra. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan makna pesan komunikasi yang terkandung dalam lukisan damar kurung adalah tentang kehidupan masyarakat Gresik yang memiliki rasa kebersamaan, persatuan, kekeluargan, dan gotong-royong antar masyarakatnya, sehingga tertanam pula nilai-nilai religius, nilai-nilai tradisi, nili-nilai nasionalisme dari gambaran yang ada pada lukisan damar kurung. Makna tersebut dapat menghasilkan citra kabupaten Gresik tentang masyarakat Gresik sebagai umat beragama yang taat beribadah, sebagai masyarakat yang cinta dan melestarikan tradisi budayanya dan sebagai masyarakat yang cinta tanah air.
