Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the management of educational staff at the SMA Negeri 7 in Tanjung Balai. This study used qualitative research methods and collected data by using interviews, study documentation, and observation. The findings of this study found that the appointment of educational staff includes a selection of administrative requirements, and psychology through filling out forms and other requirements. The findings indicate that the implementation went well, and it can be seen from educational staff who cooperated, communicated with each other well, and were placed according to their knowledge. Supervision has been carried out properly, as well as the form of supervision carried out by the principal as the education manager. In addition, there are several supporting factors such as employees who are disciplined, creative, and responsible, have supporting infrastructure, coaching that is often followed by employees, and inhibiting factors faced regarding the rapid development of the times so that systems and technology tools are always developing in the implementation of administration.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the effect of 1) Students who were taught by using active learning methods with quiz team learning and students who were taught economics through lecturing method in the SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung, 2) Students with high motivation learned type of active learning methods of the type of quiz team would be higher learning outcomes than students who have high motivation to use the lecture method in the SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung . 3) Students who have low motivation used active learning methods of the type of quiz, the team would have higher learning outcomes than students who have low motivation used the lecture methods in the SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung. 4) The interaction between the application of active learning methods and the type of quiz team motivation towards learning outcomes of economics students in SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung.This type of research was quasi-experimental research by using two-class research they were class control and experimental classes. The number of research samples from two classes was 63 students This type of data was primary data and secondary data. Learning motivation of data collection was done by spreading the. research questionnaire, while for the results of the research multiple-choice tests were provided at the end of learning. The data analysis techniques performed test data analysis requirements and test hypotheses with the two-way ANOVA. Research results indicated that: (1) There were the differences in learning outcomes of students who were taught economics with the type of active learning teaching methods quiz team than students who were taught using the lecture method in class XI IS SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung (2) There was a  difference in student learning outcomes that have a high motivation on the type of active learning methods and student quiz team who have low motivation to use the lecture method in class XI IS SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung 3) Students who have low motivation used active learning methods of the type of quiz, the team would higher learning outcomes than students who have low motivation used the lecture method in the SMA Negeri I Lubuk Alung (4) There was the interaction between the quiz active learning and motivation of team learning outcomes of students in class XI IS SMA Lubuk Alung.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop audiovisual tools in the form of animation to improve the skills to analyze information of students Category V SD Tunas Pelita Binjai. This research is motivated by the lack of audiovisual media applications in elementary schools and teachers less improve audiovisual media. The formulation of the problem in this research is: a) How to develop audiovisual Media in the form of animation on the“ theme of 7 events in life and subtheme (2) national events of the colonialism Era?”. b) How is the feasibility of audiovisual Media in the form of animation to improve students ' information analysis skills on“ theme 7 events in life and subtheme (2) national events of the colonialism Era?”. c) How is the effectiveness of audiovisual media in improving students ' information analysis skills on“ theme 7 events in life and subtheme (2) national events of the colonialism Era”. This research was conducted in SD Tunas Pelita Binjai with the number of participants is 30 students of fifth grade. The procedure for this research is development (research and development). The results of this research is to show that the way the development of audiovisual Media in the form of animation on the " theme of 7 events in life and subthemes (2) get the submission in the category of good and right. The feasibility of audiovisual media obtained with valid type where the evaluation of experts tried totality, this animated video product obtained 227 numbers with a percentage of 87, 31%( valid type). Expert evaluation to the large group trial if the animated video products in this research get the number 243 with a percentage of 93. 46% (type of breast milk). Furthermore, for the use of audiovisual tools obtained thcount= 8, 82 from the listxtribution t by usingopportunities 1- α =0, 95 with cdk n - 1 (6 - 1)= 5 obtained price ttable= 2, 07. The result is obtained t Number T table, that is.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, supervision, role, and actions of a school principal in developing teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 10 in Tanjung Balai. This research follows qualitative research methods, and the triangulation technique is used to obtain the data through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of this study indicate that the planning carried out by the principal is to create criteria for the acceptance of new staff, to create a teacher work program per quarter, and to save school funds. The supervision carried out is formative and summative model supervision, which is carried out periodically every week in the classroom by paying attention to the way the teacher teaches. Extrinsic motivation carried out by school principals in motivating their teachers is by praising the teachers, being respectful to teachers, listening to teacher complaints, following up on teacher complaints, and providing training in the IT field. Meanwhile, the intrinsic motivation is that when teachers cannot attend the training, the teachers can learn from their colleagues so that the teacher can continue to improve their abilities.

Abstract

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, many students skilled a decrease in achievement motivation. where they feel much less confident in the abilities they have. This research pursuits to find out the connection between self efficacy and motivation to excel in online based learning at some point of the pandemic in Binjai state high school students. The observe used quantitative techniques, with a sample quantity of 182 students, using proportionate random sampling strategies. data collection uses the self-efficacy scale and the achievement motivation scale. This research data changed into analyzed using regression analysis and determined a positive relationship among self-efficacy and 3.8 percent fulfillment motivation. This shows that self efficacy has a role in increasing the motivation to excel in Binjai state high school students in online based studying in the course of the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of teacher professionalism skills, strategies implemented by Madrasah (Islamic school) principals in improving teacher professionalism, and the effectiveness of management strategies used by Madrasah principals in improving teacher professionalism at MAS YMPI ST. Raso Tanjung Balai. The study follows a descriptive field method and a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate the development of teacher professionalism at MAS YMPI ST. Raso Tanjung Balai. This can be seen that of  31 teachers, there are 30 people teachers whose education level is undergraduate (S1), and 1 teacher whose education level is still diploma. About 96.7% of teachers have met teacher competency standards. This study shows that the principal's policy on increasing the professionalism of teachers at MAS YMPI ST Raso Tanjung Balai in terms of is quite good. This can be seen from the documents made by the teacher in the form of annual programs, semester programs, syllabi, and lesson plans. The policy of the head of the Madrasa in terms of micro is quite good. This can be seen from the policies set by the school principal for teachers, such as attending educational seminars, holding discussions, conducting meetings, group studies among teachers, using laptops/ learning media during the learning process, and evaluating student learning outcomes in the middle of the semester. Regarding the effectiveness of the Madrasa principal's policy, based on the results of this study, it is considered successful but still needs to be improved in the future.

Abstract

Mathematics is a difficult subject for most students, where students tend not to be able to solve problems on questions in the form of problem-solving such as description questions. Efforts can be made to increase student learning outcomes by applying the M-APOS learning model. This study investigates whether or not there is a significant effect of the M-APOS learning model on mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of the self-esteem of East Jakarta Vocational School students Region II, 2021-2022 academic year. This study is an experimental study that compares the value of the experimental class using the M-APOS model with the value of the control class using the conventional model. The values are analyzed using the t-test, where the results of the t-test indicate that ????count = 15.736 and df= 82. Besides it was found that ????????????????e = 1.989. The test criteria are that the ????0 is rejected if ????count > ????????????????e and it was found that 15.736 > 0.165. Based on the test results, the ????0 is rejected. This means that there are differences in the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who receive the M-APOS learning model and those who receive conventional learning models.

Abstract

This study aims at describing a model of andragogical development implemented by the leaders of Toriqoh Naqsabandiyah Jabal Qubis to empower their followers’ spirit to work. It is conducted at the non-formal institution of Naqsabandiyah Jabal Qubis by using phenomenological qualitative approach. The data of this research consist of the results of observation, deep interview, and focus group discussion. The data sources of this study are the top leader, the big chaliph, the old chaliph, and the young caliph. The data were analysed by the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana’s (2014) technique namely data condensation, data display, dan verification. The trustworthiness of this study is established through source and methodological triangulations. The findings of this research show that a model of andragogical development in empowering the followers’ spirit is applied through 4 steps : planning, developing, evaluating, doing follow-up, as well as their impacts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perhatian remaja terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam dan juga upaya apa yang dilakukan remaja dalam mengatasi problema pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam. Serta bagaimana respon tokoh masyarakat dalam mengatasi problema remaja dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam di Kelurahan Teluk Kabung Selatan Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung Kota Padang. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah field research (penelitian lapangan) yaitu dalam mengumpulkan data yang berkaitan dengan problematika pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam remaja di Teluk Kabung Selatan dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Adapun yang menjadi sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah lurah, tokoh masyarakat, ketua karang taruna beserta remajanya. Teknik analisa data yang penulis gunakan adalah memeriksa data, mengklasifikasi data, interpretasi data kemudian menarik kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam di Kelurahan Teluk Kabung Selatan Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung Kota Padang berdampak terhadap pendidikan keagamaan dan akhlak remaja. Dampaknya terhadap pendidikan keagamaan berupa minimnya kegiatan keagamaan di daerah ini. Seperti, wirid remaja, penyuluhan dan diskusi agama yang hanya dilakukan seminggu dua kali. Dan sedikitnya minat remaja dalam melanjutkan pendidikan yang bernuansa Islami, sehingga pemahaman remaja terhadap norma-norma pendidikan agama Islam. Sedangkan akhlak berdampak seringnya remaja dalam meninggalkan shalat lima waktu, adanya pergaulan bebas, minuman keras dan juga kurang antusias remaja dalam kegiatan penyuluhan agama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, penulis menyarankan khususnya kepada pihak orang tua dan tokoh masyarakat agar memberikan bimbingan tentang pentingnya pendidikan keagamaan pada remaja. Dan juga mengajak remaja selalu berakhlak baik dalam kehidupan.

Abstract

This study aims to see teacher performance in planning and organizing at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Ihsan in Selat Lancang, Tanjungbalai. Supervision of teacher performance was carried out by the head of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Ihsan in Selat Lancang, Tanjungbalai. The study also focuses on supporting and inhibiting factors for teacher performance management at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Ihsan in Selat Lancang, Tanjungbalai. This research follows a qualitative approach, namely a naturalistic approach. The term naturalistic indicates that the implementation of this research does occur naturally, in good normal situations, and is not manipulated by circumstances and conditions. Teacher performance planning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Al Ihsan in Selat Lancang, Tanjungbalai is considered quite good because effective teachers have quality abilities and attitudes who can provide the best for students, such as fun teaching and learning process.
