Abstract

The discussion of philosophy is divided into three object approaches, namely: ontology, epistemology and axiology approaches. The focus of this article is in the field of ontology. Ontology itself is divided into three concentrations of discussion, namely: theology, cosmology and psychology. Three subject matter of science have integration to give understanding to humans how to analyze the nature of existing (metaphysical) through empirical and rational ways. The ontology discussion in this article concentrates on the nature of "that which exists" whose application leads to three main discussions, namely: the nature of science, the law of causality and the potentials in every human being which all have a correlation with the metaphysical nature. Based on the steps of Total Quality Management (TQM), in implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) it is inseparable from the 8 education standards as outlined in Government Regulation (PP) Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards (SNP).

Abstract

TAI learning model is a model that solves problems in individual teaching programs. In this model students are grouped based on diverse abilities. Research that is used to look for the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions is called experimental research. The average value of students who have high Self Esteem taught using the TAI Method (75.7) is higher than those who are taught using the STAD Method (57.6). This means that the TAI Method is more effective than the STAD Method for teaching mathematics to students who have high self-esteem. The average value of students who have low Self Esteem taught using the STAD Method (64.8) is higher than those who are taught using the TAI Method (57.4). This means that teaching is more effective STAD method for teaching mathematics for students who have low Self Esteem.

Abstract

BK in Improving Student Learning Motivation at SMA N 1 Kota Metro, the types of services are: Information services. School principals and BK teachers have implemented these services, such as: information about knowledge about their environment, learning resources, and information on continuing studies so that students can make it easier to make plans to enter the University; Placement and distribution services, in this case the Principal and BK teacher have assisted students in developing the potential students have, it can be seen from the collaboration between extracurricular teachers and BK teachers in developing student potential. Individual counseling services, school principals and school counselors always help students if students experience problems, school principals and school counselors work together with parents to deal with difficulties, are lazy in learning, by asking students questions and providing solutions.

Abstract

Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) is a Science process skill approach, where students are directed to master inquiry based skills. This IBL-based classroom action research turned out to be able to improve the creativity and learning achievement of students in class XI IPA1. Learning Outcomes 1) Average Pre-Cycle learning achievement: 64.9; increased in Cycle I: 69.1 and in Cycle II: 83.8. Thus there is an increase in the average chemistry learning achievement from Pre-Cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II. The increase has reached the planned indicator, which is 7.5; 2) In Cycle II there was no predicate of Dislikes and Dislikes, 78% of students were predicated on Suka, and 22% of students were predicated on Sangat Suka. The predicate Suka and Tidak Suka decreases and shifts the predicate Suka and Sangat Suka. Suka and Sangat Suka Predicates amounted to 94% exceeding the planned achievement indicators, the cycle was stopped.

Abstract

One form of technology that is seen as being able to provide an impetus to the world of education is the world of the internet which at this time has become something that is no longer foreign to the community, especially in the world of education. Based on the results of the data analysis that the authors obtained, in this case the authors can conclude as follows: There is a significant influence between the internet on the learning tasks of elementary school students in Kota Metro. By using a db of 4, it can be obtained that the table chi square value for a significant level of 5% is 9.488, and for a significant level of 1% it is 13,227. Thus, at the 1% significant level and at the 5% significance level or 9.488 < 20.3507 > 13,227. It means that the hypothesis (Ha) that the author proposes in this study is accepted and rejects the null hypothesis (Ho). Thus, the authors can conclude that: there is a positive influence of the internet on the learning tasks of elementary school students in Kota Metro.

Abstract

As a human being equipped with intellect, it can be understood the importance of libraries in an effort to support the dynamics of academic activities for all elements at school in Metro in particular and society in general. Research to be conducted by the authors in this study is a quantitative study. In quantitative research the process of collecting data is done directly or plunged into the field. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, it can be concluded as follows: No significant influence is obtained from the results of chi-square calculated with chi-square table. By using two-party test, we get chi-square table value (x2tabel) at 1% significance level equal to 13,227 and for 5% significance level equal to 9,467. Thus, the calculated chi-square value (x2count) of 0.423 is smaller than the chi-square table at the significance level of 1% and the 5% significance level then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted.

Abstract

The standard of the educational process is the national standard of education, which means that a standard in the management of the educational process must be met by every formal educational institution at a certain level of education in providing services to the community wherever the educational institution is located nationally. Process standards are associated with the implementation of learning, which means the standard of the educational process contains how the learning process should take place in each educational unit carried out by every teacher, both class teachers and subject teachers, so that the quality of learning can be carried out optimally. The condition of inequality in the quality of education is caused by the non-standard quality of learning. The standard evaluation of the learning assessment process uses an authentic assessment approach.

Abstract

Comparative studies of education have a strategic role in improving the quality of education of a Country. Japan as one of the countries with the best education system in the world and become a reference of other countries. Japan has advantages in its education system including the planting of character values that are integrated in the curriculum, especially for basic education. Japanese children are known for being disciplined, simple and very respectful of others. In addition, the great contribution of parents and also the community in education makes the Japanese education system very strong and quality. High public and government appreciation for teachers makes teachers have high loyalty and full commitment in carrying out their duties as educators. This certainly affects the quality of education. The best practice of Japanese education can be used as a consideration for Indonesia in developing a quality education system.

Abstract

To ensure the implementation of education in accordance with quality standards, it is necessary to continuously and continuously assess the feasibility and performance carried out in order to make improvements and improve the quality of higher education. A policy is always associated with the public. Public policies are decisions that are binding on many people at the strategic or outline level made by public authorities. Performance is an activity that has been achieved by a worker in carrying out the tasks and work assigned to him. The success of quality management in higher education can be measured by the level of customer satisfaction. Higher education can be said to be successful if it is able to provide services according to the expectations of "customers of education" and produce satisfactory products, especially for the public who use educational services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan tentang masalah siswa ketika mereka berbicara bahasa Inggris. Hal ini dikarenakan Mahasiswa Tingkat Lanjutan tidak dapat berbicara dengan baik ketika mereka melakukan Seminar Proposal dan juga Ujian Akhir di IAIN Metro. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada 10 mahasiswa, wawancara dengan Kaprodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa dari siswa tingkat lanjut tidak dapat berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan baik ketika mereka mengikuti seminar proposal dan Ujian Akhir atau Munaqosyah adalah karena mereka terlalu khawatir membuat kesalahan pada kinerja mereka karena mereka tidak memiliki cukup kosakata dan penguasaan tata bahasa, sehingga akan berdampak pada pengucapan dan kepercayaan diri mereka.
