Abstract

Recorded more than 7536 people of productive age unemployment spread in cities in Banten province. 4473 of them are in four cities, namely the City of Serang, Rangkasbitung, Cilegon, and Pandeglang [1]. They are stranded on the streets and wandering around. The Banten government does not yet have a special program that is progressive, comprehensive, and sustainable to overcome unemployment and Drop Out Youth. In connection with that, the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten offers cooperation programs in the form of Working with Community. The objectives of this program are: 1) to empower productive age unemployed, 2) to provide start-up entrepreneurship skills for the development and promotion of Banten local products, 3) to improve the social status of the unemployment in order to achieve the program of “a less children on the street” heading of Creative and Cultured Banten Communities, 4) to establish an integrative and comprehensive sustainable programs to overcome the problems of unemployed social groups. The method of social transformation is carried out through training in vocational entrepreneur skills. Activities begin with counseling, training, and mentoring. The application of start-up entrepreneurship technology is provided for the promotion of Banten local products. As many as 30 unemployed are divided into three training groups. The types of training provided are: screen printing skills, entrepreneurship, and the use of mobile phones for online business. Three types of training are given for the three groups. The final product in the form of shirt printing is sold off line at tourist attractions of Gunung Pinang and also through the media on line Bukalapak and Tokopedia. This empowerment activity has been able to give change of life of the parties. The unemployed become more confident because they can use mobile phones for entrepreneurship gradually. The community began to seek ideas to develop and promote local Banten products.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Tercatat lebih dari 7536 jiwa pengangguran usia produktif tersebar di kota-kota dalam provinsi Banten. 4473 jiwa diantaranya berada di empat kota, yaitu Kota Serang, Rangkasbitung, Cilegon, dan Pandeglang [1]. Mereka terlantar di jalanan dan berkeliaran.Pemerintahan Banten belum memiliki program khusus yang progresif, komprehensif, dan berkesinambungan untuk mengatasi pengangguran dan Pemuda Putus Sekolah.Sehubungan dengan itu, timUniversitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten menawarkan program kerjasama dalam bentuk pengabdian working with community. Tujuan program ini  adalah: 1) memberdayakan pengangguran usia produktif, 2) memberikan keterampilan (life skills)start-up enterpreneur untuk pengembangan dan promosi produk lokal Banten , 3) meningkatkan status sosial pengangguran guna mewujudkan program less children on the street menuju masyarakat Banten berkarya dan berbudaya, 4) membuat program integratif dan komprehensif berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi problematika kelompok sosial pengangguran. Metode transformasi sosial dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan vocational entrepreneur skills. Kegiatan dimulai dengan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Penerapan teknologi sart-up enterpreneur diberikan untuk promosi produk lokal Banten. Sebanyak 30 pengangguran dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok pelatihan. Jenis pelatihan yang diberikan adalah keterampilan sablon, kewirausahaan, dan pemanfaatan hand phone untuk bisnis on line. Ketiga jenis pelatihan diberikan secara bergantian antar-satu kelompok dengan kelompok lainnya. Produk akhir berupa sablon kaos dijual secara off line di tempat wisata Gunung Pinang dan melalui media on line bukalapak dan tokopedia. Pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan sedikit banyaknya telah dapat memberi perubahan. Para pengangguran menjadi lebih percaya diri karena dapat memanfaatkan hand phone untuk berwirausahan secara bertahap. Masyarakat mulai keratif mencari ide untuk mengembangkan dan mempromosikan produk lokal Banten.

Abstract

Dodol Ny. Lauw is a home industry which produces dodol. Its product contents water 20-50% with Aw 0,7-0,9. This condition causes the growth of mold and rancid aroma in the product. This activity aimed to apply the good production concept and food safety system in home industry dodol Ny. Lauw. The result of this activity showed that dodol Ny. Lauw had been following a food safety standard mainly GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) that issued by BPOM. Treatment on raw materials, production process, sanitation, waste management, and product storage hav been under controlled. But it still needs more improvement in worker sanitation and utility management. Based on GMP application, dodol Ny. Lauw was in level IV, with 1 minor control point, 0 mayor control point, 3 serious control points, and 1 critical control point, which mean they need internal audit every day to review the sanitation problem. The critical control point was found in the cooking stage.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Dodol Ny. Lauw merupakan industri rumah tangga yang memproduksi dodol dengan kandungan air 20 - 50% dan Aw 0,7-0,9. Kondisi ini yang menyebabkan mudah terjadinya pertumbuhan jamur dan aroma produk yang tengik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan konsep produksi dan sanitasi pangan yang baik pada industri rumah tangga Ny. Lauw dengan pendekatan penentuan titik kendali kritis. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dodol Ny. Lauw telah mengikuti regulasi keamanan pangan yaitu Cara Produksi Pangan Olahan yang Baik (CPPOB) dari BPOM. Perlakuan pada bahan baku, proses produksi, sanitasi, dan penyimpanan produk telah terkendali. Namun, sanitasi pekerja dan manajemen utilitas perlu perbaikan. Berdasarkan prinsip analisis CPPOB, dodol Ny. Lauw berada di level IV, dengan 1 titik kendali minor, 0 titik kendali mayor, 3 titik kendali serius, dan 1 titik kendali kritis, sehingga memerlukan audit internal setiap hari untuk meninjau masalah sanitasi. Titik kendali kritis tersebut terletak pada tahap pemasakan.

Abstract

Indonesia as an agricultural country certainly has abundant natural resources. One of the natural resources in the agricultural sector is various types of food crop varieties, including vegetables and fruits that have great potential for increased utilization. Eggplant is one of the vegetables that contains a lot of anti-oxidants and is easy to cultivate. Likewise in Menganti District, Gresik regency, East Java, the potential of the eggplant is very abundant especially in Sidojankung Village. From this potential resource, women's groups in Sido Jangkung village took the initiative to increase the economic value of eggplant into various kinds of processed beverage products and foods such as juice and eggplant ice cream, bread and eggplant dodol. However, so far these creative businesses can not develop as expected. Problems faced include the production and management problems. In terms of production problems, food and beverage products need to be improved to be more durable. It is also still a lack of adequate equipment and packaging are less attractive. Whereas the problems of the management aspect is the lack of promotion or marketing capabilities, as well as yet to implement financial management for small businesses. Based on the problems faced above, this community service activity aims to empower communities by helping partner group consisting of women in the Sido Jangkung village in order to improve the product quality and marketing so that it can become an alternative income of their household. The method applied to achieve this goal is to provide training in production and management and provide equipment assistance.

Abstract

Literacy is not just the ability to read and write but adds knowledge, skills, and abilities that can make a person have ability to think critically, solve problems in various contexts, communicate effectively, develop potential and actively participate in social life. Community Partnership Program Activities in 2019 will be held at SDN Jelambar Baru 01 Pagi West Jakarta. This activity is carried out based on realizing a generation that can have broad insights into literacy activities that will guide them to be able to think critically. For this reason, teachers are trained to stimulate their students with problems and examples that are contextual with the subject matter so that teachers are able to explore their students' knowledge in teaching and learning activities so that partner schools can achieve performance targets both in aspects of learning, so mentoring Science Literacy to teachers in increasing the ability and understanding of their students. The method used is (active participatory methods in mentoring both in the socialization, discussion, and equalization of perceptions between the PKM team and teachers in partner schools. The results of this PKM from observation and evaluation there is a significant increase in literacy mastery for illustrated teachers from the lesson plans that they arrange to be implemented in learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe workshop on Flipped Classroom Learning to lecturers of the Maternity of Nursing Course at S1 Nursing program is deemed important that lecturers are capable of designing the best quality course outline. The results of the workshop should be investigated to ensure achievement of the workshop. The aim of research to measure statistical differences between the documents course outline on Maternity of Nursing before and after taking a workshop lecturer about Flipped Classroom Learning This study was designed a descriptive quantitative and comparative then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The data source is a document Maternity of Nursing course outline at Banten Provice. This research has been getting Ethical Clearance with number of 112/MRIN/-EC/V/2016. The results showed that there are different documents couerse outline significantly between before and after the lecturers followed whorshop with p value of 0.0001 and the increased value of a mean of 10.333 for the activity before learning in class, and amounted to 9.889 for the learning activities during and after the learning in the classroom. It was concluded that it is raising the Maternity of Nursing course outline document. This case discribed the readiness of lecturers for implementing the Flipped Classroom Learning method on Maternity of Nursing Course in S1 Nursing program at Banten Province. The lecturers recommend it to consider management class as well.  Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Kegiatan workshop Flipped Classroom Learning pada para dosen pengampu Mata Kuliah Maternitas Keperawatan pada program Studi S1 Keperawatan di Provinsi Banten dipandang penting agar dosen berkemampuan mendesain rencana pembelajaran semester secara berkualitas. Hasil kegiatan workshop perlu dilakukan pengukuran melalui penelitian untuk memastikan kertercapaian tujuan workshop.  Penelitian berujuan untuk mengukur apakah ada perbedaan bermakna secara statistik antara kelengkapan dokumen Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) mata kuliah Keperawatan Maternitas pada sebelum dan sesudah dosen mengikuti workshop Flipped Classroom Learning. Penelitian didesain berbentuk deskriptif kuantitatif bersifat komparatif dan dianalisa menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Sumber data adalah dokumen RPS. Mata Kuliah Keperawatan pada Program Studi S1 Keperawatan di Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini telah mendapatkan Etichal Clearance dengan No. 112/MRIN/-EC/V/2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  terdapat perbedaan kelengkapan dokumen RPS secara bermakna antara  sebelum dan sesudah dosen mekaksanakan whorshop dengan p value 0,0001 dan nilai peningkatan mean sebesar 10,333 untuk aktivitas sebelum pembelajaran di kelas, dan sebesar 9,889 untuk aktivitas belajar selama dan sesudah belajar di kelas. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kelengkapan dokumen RPS. Mata Kuliah Keperawatan Maternitas yang menggambarkan kesiapan dosen untuk mengimplementasikan metode Flipped Classroom Learningpada Mata Kuliah keperawatan maternitas pada program Studi Keperawatan DI Provinsi banten dengan rekomendasi agar tetap mempertimbangkan manajemen kelas secara baik. Kata Kunci: Warkshop, Flipped Classroom, RPS, aktivitas pembelajaran

Abstract

Serabi Solo is a traditional food made from rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, salt, water and other ingridients. Serabi is round, flat and porous. Coconut milk was used to develop serabi's taste making it sweet and savory. However, rancidity can decrease quality of serabi during shelf life. Mold growth also affects food safety of this perishable food. Serabi Solo is developing as gift that has longer shelf life beside flavor and appearance variations. Concrete solutions to inhibit rancidity were matcha green tea because of poliphenol as an antioxidant. Matcha green tea addition and pasteurization improved Serabi Solo quality and inhibited rancidity. Based on previous research, matcha green tea 1% made Serabi shelf life longer (24,66 hours). Other solution was coconut milk pretreatment. According to previous research, lemon juice pH 3 was used in coconut milk with hurdle technique made Serabi Solo has shelf life longer (32 hours). Therefore, this activity was to introduce matcha green tea 1% and lemon juice pH 3 to extend shelf of Serabi Solo in SME Linco's Solo.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Kue serabi solo merupakan salah satu makanan tradisional yang terbuat dari tepung beras dan santan. Kue ini bulat, pipih dan berpori-pori. Penambahan santan saat memasak serabi membuat serabi terasa manis dan gurih. Namun, santan dalam serabi selain memberikan rasa gurih juga mudah mengalami kerusakan selama penyimpanan. Munculnya aroma dan rasa tengik yang tidak disukai menyebabkan penurunan kualitas dan daya simpan kue serabi. Selain itu, pertumbuhan kapang juga menjadi masalah keamanan pangan pada serabi. Padahal sebagai produk oleh-oleh, serabi diharapkan memiliki umur simpan lebih panjang selain variasi rasa dan tampilan yang menarik dan kekinian. Solusi aplikatif untuk menghambat ketengikan pada kue serabi solo adalah penggunaan matcha green tea karena mengandung polifenol sebagai antioksidan. Penambahan matcha green tea dan perlakuan pasteurisasi pada santan dapat memperbaiki mutu dan mampu menghambat proses ketengikan sehingga dapat memperpanjang umur simpan kue serabi. Hasil dari penelitian sebelumnya, pada uji ketengikan menunjukkan bahwa kue serabi dengan penambahan matcha green tea konsentrasi 1% memiliki umur simpan selama 24,66 jam. Selain penambahan, matcha green tea, upaya memperpanjang umur simpan serabi yaitu dengan mendesain pretreatment santan. Penelitian sebelumnya menggunakan jenis jeruk dan konsentrasi pH asam sitrat yang paling disukai konsumen dan pengaruh serta lama daya simpan serabi dengan pretreatment santan menggunakan teknik hurdle. Serabi yang paling disukai adalah serabi dengan formula pretreatment santan menggunakan air jeruk lemon dengan pH 3 yang memiliki umur simpan 32 jam. Oleh karena itu, pada kegiatan PkM ini mengaplikasikan matcha green tea 1% dan sari jeruk lemon dengan pH 3 untuk meningkatkan umur simpan serabi terhadap variabel ketengikan di UKM Lincos Solo.

Abstract

Abstract Destination is an important element in tourism. The Ministry of Tourism has designed the Destination Management Organization (DMO) and formulate reference practical action by promoting the Integrated Quality Management for each destination. Success or failure of a DMO is closely connected with the development objectives, one of which is the realization of empowerment, participation and welfare, preservation of natural and cultural environment and of course the benefits for tourists. The Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with STPPH conducted monitoring and evaluation (Monev) of DMO to implement Community Service (PkM). This is a descriptive study and method used is questionnaire, interview with respondents and the stakeholders as well as site visit. The results show that each destination has not been uniform in the achievement stages stipulated by the Ministry of Tourism and is still a destination that should intensify a strengthening phase collective consciousness movement of stakeholders and development of destination management.Keywords:  monitoring, evaluation, DMOAbstrak Destinasi pariwisata merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam pariwisata. Kementerian Pariwisata telah mendesain Destination Management Organization (DMO) dan merumuskan acuan tindakan praktis dengan mengedepankan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu bagi setiap destinasi pariwisata. Berhasil atau tidaknya suatu DMO sangat berhubungan dengan tujuan pengembangannya, dimana salah satunya adalah terwujudnya pemberdayaan, partisipasi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, kelestarian lingkungan alam maupun budaya dan tentu saja manfaat bagi wisatawan. Kementerian Pariwisata bekerja sama dengan STPPH melakukan kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi (Monev) DMO yang dapat menjadi sarana bagi STPPH untuk melaksanakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM). Studi yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif dan metode pelaksanaan Monev dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner, wawancara dengan responden dan para pelaku pariwisata serta tinjauan lapangan. Hasil Monev menunjukkan bahwa setiap destinasi belum seragam dalam pencapaian tahapan yang ditetapkan oleh Kementrian Pariwisata dan masih terdapat destinasi yang harus menggiatkan tahapan penguatan gerakan kesadaran kolektif stakeholder dan pengembangan manajemen destinasi. Kata kunci: monitoring, evaluasi, DMO

Abstract

The locus of community service activities is a residential corridor node by exploring the communal space of fishermen in the Biringkassi Barombong Village. The concept of ecoculture is a concept that combines ecological aspects, namely the fishermen's environmental ecosystem and the culture of the community, namely Bugis Makassar in managing fishermen settlements towards livable and sustainable livelihood. The method used in this community service is the Regional Arrangement Method with a participatory ecocultural approach. making mockups of existing areas, FGD identification of communal spaces, drafting of concepts, agreement on the arrangement of communal spots, and activities of structuring communal spots. The structuring of the Biringkassi Barombong Fishermen Village is a result of the community's contribution in increasing the environmental assets of the settlements owned by the fishing community through he adoption of the Bugis Makassar ornament and the setting of the shared area and the use of natural colors as a symbol of closeness to the sea.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Lokus kegiatan pengabdian adalah node koridor permukiman dengan mengeksplorasi ruang komunal nelayan Kampung Biringkassi Barombong. Konsep ekokultur merupakan konsep yang mengkombinasikan aspek ekologi yaitu ekosistem lingkungan nelayan dan budaya masyarakat yaitu Bugis Makassar dalam menata permukiman nelayan menuju layak huni dan sustainable livelihood. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Metode Penataan Kawasan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang ekokultur. pembuatan maket eksisting kawasan, FGD identifikasi ruang komunal, penyusunan konsep, penyepakatan spot komunal penataan, dan kegiatan aksi penataan spot komunal. Penataan Kampung Nelayan Biringkassi Barombong merupakan hasil kontribusi masyarakat dalam peningkatan aset-aset lingkungan permukiman yang dimiliki oleh komunitas nelayan melalui adopsi ornamen Bugis Makassar dan setting area yang digunakan secara bersama dan penggunaan warna alami sebagai simbol kedekatan dengan laut.

Abstract

The organic farming community Al Barokah was formed in the village of Ketapang, sub-district of Susukan, district of Semarang in 2004, which includes the farmer group Al Barokah 3 and the farmer group Walisongo. The wish to cultivate organic rice has arisen in 2002, and was followed-up by studies for more information, know-how and skills. The area of land that is cultivated organically increases steadily each year, and is currently almost 300 ha. In 2015, through the accompaniment of LPPM UNS, an organic certificate from organic certification institution was obtained. One of the important problems faced by the organic farming community Al Barokah is the availability of water for irrigation, especially in dry season. Therefore, there is a need for a science-technology (Iptek) program for the community: Implementation of an irrigation well system for the organic rice farmer group to increase the production of organic rice. The project is conducted from June to October2017. Group participative method is used, because active participation from the community in every step of the program is required by supporting the resources of the farmer group.

Abstract

Raudhatul Islamiyah Mosque which is located on Jl. Trans Kalimantan, Jawa Tengah Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya District is one of the mosques that had problem in fulfill the demand of clean water for flushing and daily activities. The water used comes from artesian well whose quality and quantity were inadequate. This had an impact on the damage to mosque facilities such as faucet because of rust and the bathtub turn brownish yellow. Besides flushing, activity in the form of mouthwash - gargle using water that was yellowish brown and smelly can potentially cause disease because of the presence of iron, organic matter, microbes, and others. Therefore it needed a water treatment that treats water quality so that it was safe to use. Water treatment was designed using aeration and shell sand filtration with a processing capacity of 1000 liters. The method used in this activity was the participatory method where the youth at the mosque participated in socialization and training activities, making water treatment plants, operation and maintenance water treatment equipment. In addition there was an operational standard manual to facilitate the operation and maintenance of the water treatment equipment.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Masjid Raudhatul Islamiyah yang terletak di Jl.Trans Kalimantan, Desa Jawa Tengah, Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang, Kabupaten Kubu Raya merupakan salah satu masjid yang memiliki permasalahan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih untuk wudhu dan aktivitas harian lainnya. Air yang digunakan berasal dari sumur bor yang kualitas dan kuantitasnya kurang memadai. Hal tersebut berdampak pada rusaknya fasilitas masjid berupa keran air wudhu karena karat dan beberapa fasilitas masjid salah satunya adalah bak kamar mandi menjadi berwarna kuning kecoklatan. Selain itu aktivitas wudhu berupa kumur – kumur menggunakan air yang berwarna kuning kecoklatan dan berbau dapat berpotensi mengakibatkan penyakit karena adanya kandungan besi, zat organik, mikroba, dan lainnya. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan suatu instalasi pengolahan air yang mampu mengolah kualitas air sehingga aman untuk digunakan. Pengolahan air yang dirancang menggunakan proses aerasi dan filtrasi pasir kerang dengan kapasitas pengolahan sebesar 1000 liter. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan metode parsipatori dimana remaja masjid ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, pembuatan instalasi pengolahan air, operasional dan pemeliharaan alat pengolahan air. Selain itu terdapat buku panduan standar operasional untuk mempermudah operasional dan pemeliharaan alat.
