AbstractDesire to be accepted by other people is one of the basic human needs. Social isolation or rejection is very stressful to person with disabilities. Social acceptance by normal people towards physical activity participation for the disabled plays a vital role in motivating them to be more physically active. A review of literature indicated that there are several factors that influence public acceptance towards participation of people with disabilities in physical activity. The present study aims to examine the factors that influence public acceptance towards people with disabilities involvement in physical activity. Based on the Theory of Reasoned Action and Cultural Values Theory, four factors (public attitudes, exposure, ethnicity and subjective norms) were examined in this study. A stratified and convenience sampling technique was adopted to collect data from public without disabilities (N=444), who were exercising at four public recreational parks in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The instrument was developed based on previous study and opinion of a panel of experts. Regression analyses were employed to examine the relationship between the variables. The result showed that the relationship between subjective norms and acceptance has the highest value (R2=0.179), compared to attitude (R2=0.146), ethnicity (R2=0.073) and exposure (R2=0.044). The result indicated that stressing on family supports, mutual contacts and promoting positive attitude of the public are promising approaches to improving public acceptance towards participation of the disabled in physical activity. Emphasizing the related factors can help to reduce the public stigma, which is one of the main obstacles to providing healthy lifestyles for the disabled. Keywords: Attitude; Ethnicity; Exposure; public Acceptance; People with Disabilities; Physical Activity.

AbstractThis Study was conducted to know the present Flow State of the Indian Universities Badminton team which was going to participate in 26th Summer Universiade at Shenzen, China. And to know the relation between the flow and its dimensions based on the Flow State Scale -2 (Jackson & Eklund, 2004). For this study both the boys and girls teams were selected which consists of six members each. It was a survey designed study and Flow State Scale-2 (Jackson & Eklund, 2004) was used to gather data to calculate overall Flow and its dimensions. The information was gathered during the training camp before the team left for China. In both the teams the present flow state was at a significant level 4.23 (Girls) & 4.17 (Boys) and Overall flow and other dimensions yielded a significant positive correlation, for girls team flow yielded a significant positive correlation Merging (r = .76), Concentration (r = .85), Time (r = .89), Autotelic (r = .77). For boys team flow yielded a significant positive correlation Merging (r = 89), Goals (r = .74), Control (r = .82). So it can be concluded that both the teams are in a better Flow State when they left for the championship and above said dimensions are highly correlated with overall flow state of the players in both boys and girls. Keywords: Flow, Badminton players, Badminton

The results of this the new model of learning assessment indicators is more effective than the old one. The average effectiveness of the attitudes perfect/SS indicator is older models of learning is 78.33% and 86.67% of new models of learning. The average of effectiveness in SW indicator is older models of learning is 73.33% and 80.00% of new models of learning. The average effectiveness of the NT indicator on older models of learning is 71.67% and 85.00% of new models of learning. The average effectiveness of the indicators of S^ on the old model of learning is 70.00% and 78.33% of new models of learning. Learning outcomes (average of all indicators) that reach increased from 73.33% to 82.50%. It can be concluded that multiple training based learning model more effective than the old learning model.

This research aims to determine the effect of overhand serves training with a gradual distance on the results of overhand serves in volleyball games on extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 40 Palembang. The sample of this research was 25 students who took volleyball extracurricular activities. Data collection techniques in this research were through structured observation guided by volleyball playing skills tests from the American Association for Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) as the top serves test instrument. Hypothesis testing in this research uses Paired-Samples T Test or t-test with the help of SPSS application (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). The results obtained by tcount (-20,527) < ttable (df /dk 24 = 1,711), which means that there is an influence of overhand serves with a gradual distance to the results of overhand serves in volleyball games on extracurricular students in SMP Negeri 40 Palembang.

The purpose of this study is to find out the contribution magnitude of legs muscle power and dynamic balance to the ability of jump shot Senior High School Basketball players in Padang. Based on the problem, this research method using correlational approach and followed by analyzing the magnitude of contribution of each indicator variable to the predictor variable. To measure the legs muscle power using Sargeant test, dynamic balance using modified Bass Test, and for jump shot ability using speed spot shooting test. The sample involved in this study is 30 people which determined by training experience and frequency of participation in the competitions. The results of this research shows that legs muscle power contributed 22% toward the ability of jump shot; dynamic balance contributes 20% toward the ability of jump shot; and legs muscle power along with dynamic balance contributes significantly to 24% toward jump shot ability. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that the power of legs muscle and dynamic balance must be considered to be included into the training program especially to improve the ability of jump shot of Senior High School Basketball players in Padang.

The main problem of the research is the low mastery of the skills to start swimming deaf children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the exercise model using video media on swimming grabstart skills in deaf children.Subjects were 40 deaf children consisting of 20 experimental groups and 20 control groups. Data collection was carried out by conducting initial tests to grabstart swimming skills, practice (training models using video media) and final tests of grabstart swimming skills. Data analysis and hypothesis testing using comparative analysis techniques using the Dependent sample t-test, namely Paired sample t-test and Independent sample t-test, namely t-Test: Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances with a significant level α = 0.05Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: 1) There is an effect of the exercise model using video media on swimming grabstart skills in deaf children from an average value of 51.05 to 64.94 with Tcount = 14.93> Ttable = 2.10, 2 ) There is an influence of the control group on swimming grabstart skills in deaf children from an average value of 47.89 to 52.69 with Tcount = 4.47> Ttable = 2.10. 3) There is a difference between the effect of the exercise model using video media with a control group with Tcount = 3.82> Ttable = 2.02.
