Abstract

Science process skills are an inseparable part of science learning. Basic science skills are the foundation for practicing more complex integrated skills. Science process skills are part of the nature of science as a process. Science process skills are essential for prospective teachers in elementary schools because there are science subjects, so science learning is by the nature of science itself. Based on observations in science education courses, it appears that prospective PGSD teachers are still not skilled in KPS. Prospective teachers who are equipped with teaching skills and other skills in learning science will determine how teachers teach science by the nature of science. This study aims to analyze the science process skills of PGSD students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education who are taking the Science Education course in the even semester of 2023/2024. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through Observation, and data analysis using qualitative descriptive. The results of the research show that the dominant science process skills of prospective elementary school teachers can be implemented, namely the skills of observing, classifying, and measuring, while the skills of predicting, communicating, and concluding still need to be trained. It is hoped that prospective teachers who are equipped with good process skills will have an impact on mastering science concepts in their learning so that they can encourage their students' critical thinking and creative writing abilities.

Abstract

Education related to Sharia economics plays an important role in helping understand economic values based on Islamic religious teachings, especially among children. The rapid development of digital technology currently impacts the adjustment of educational facilities, one of which is through digital content. Digital media-based educational content is increasingly considered an effective means of teaching sharia economic values to children. This research aims to describe the potential and benefits of education on Sharia economic values through digital content, especially animated videos on the YouTube platform. This research uses literature study and content analysis methods to identify various types of existing digital content and evaluate their effectiveness in transferring Sharia economic values. The object used in this research is an animated video produced by Bank Indonesia. The research results show that digital content can provide children with a better and more enjoyable understanding of Sharia economics. Apart from that, the research results show that there are Sharia economic values and principles that are taught through digital content such as halal food and the prohibition of usury. In addition, through digital content, the message is conveyed in an interesting and easy-to-understand way.

Abstract

Nowadays, it is tough to discard the existence of technology in human life. It also affects the sexual lives of its users. One of the social phenomena that attacks the morals of Internet users is Video Call Sex (VCS). The problem arises when this activity is no longer supposed to be private but is spread to the public through social media. The recordings made into the personal collection then turned into a threat, even a tool for extortion. One real form of technological progress is the Internet. It also affects the sexual lives of its users. One of the social phenomena that attacks the morals of Internet users is Video Call Sex (VCS). The problem arises when this activity is no longer something that is supposed to be private but is spread to the public through social media. The recordings made into the personal collection then turned into a threat, even a tool for extortion. The ITE Act is expected to be the one that can address the threat of the spread of Video Call Sex (VCS) content. This study aims to see how the implementation of the ITE Law will solve the problem of extortion of threats by the distribution of video call sex content on social media in the City of Palangka Raya. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Data is obtained with observation and interview techniques and analyzed using Miles and Huberman models. Validation of research through credibility tests with source triangulation techniques.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a form of educational service provided by the government for students with special needs. Inclusive education is a forum for equalizing the development of students' potential. Students with special needs often have obstacles in learning, such as those with dyslexia. The film Taare Zamen Par is a public exemplary media about the implementation of inclusive education and the problems that occur in dealing with children with special needs, such as the paradigm of society that still discredits children with special needs. The purpose of this study is to determine and evaluate the relevance of the humanistic theory approach in the implementation of inclusive education, through a study in the film Taare Zamen Par. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The method used in the analysis is the semiotic method. This study shows that the humanistic approach is relevant to be applied in the implementation of inclusive education. Referring to the results of the film review, it shows several forms of the humanistic approach, including; overcoming low self-esteem, getting to know students' personalities and their environment through sense and sensibility, building empathy, involving families as a support system, and exploring students' talents.

Abstract

This research examines the perception of tolerance of student diversity at SDN Jatinegara Kaum 11 Pagi. Tolerance of diversity is one form of character that reflects human rights values in it. As social beings, students do not live with the same cultural uniformity as themselves, but in the school environment students encounter diversity as plural and multicultural individuals. For this reason, it is very important to instill the character of tolerance of diversity in students in elementary schools as a provision for living in a diverse social environment through the application of multicultural-based education with a recognition theory approach from Axel Honneth. This research uses a quantitative approach. Data collection used purposive sampling research techniques in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data collection was conducted online through the GoogleForm platform in September-November, Data analysis used descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the research conducted show that students' tolerance for diversity has increased at SDN Jatinegara Kaum 11 Pagi, from the percentage of data on the perception of students' tolerance for diversity has increased positively with data on indicators of aspects of peace with the whole statement showing results of 46.5%, on data indicators of aspects of respect for differences and individuals with the whole statement showing results of 43.2%, and on data indicators of aspects of awareness with the whole statement.

Abstract

The purpose of developing learning media based on Google Sites in the Semiotics course at STKIP Paris Barantai is to improve the quality of learning by utilizing technology that is easily accessible to students. This research uses a research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). As a result of the analysis stage, STKIP Paris Barantai has adequate facilities, but its utilization in learning is still limited. Google Sites-based learning media for the Semiotics course was developed based on the results of design and development. The trial with a small group of 8 students got results (93%) and a large group of 35 students got results (89%) indicating that this learning media is very feasible to use at the implementation stage. The results of the feasibility test conducted by media experts and material experts on Google Sites-based learning media showed that media experts gave an assessment of 85% with a very feasible category, and media experts gave an assessment of 87% with a very feasible category. Based on these results, shows that the use of Google Sites as a learning tool is very effective in improving students' understanding of the material and making education more flexible and interactive. It is hoped that these tools can be an alternative to more advanced learning.

Abstract

Balancing caregiving duties with multiple responbilities is a persistent challenge for housewives, particularly those managing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Bapukung, a traditional swaddling practice from South Kalimantan, offers a potential solution by improving infant sleep quality and providing mothers with uninterrupted time to manage household and business tasks. This study investigates the influence of Bapukung on the productivity and role balance of housewives using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were collected from 30 respondents in South Kalimantan through structured questionnaires. Results reveal that Bapukung significantly influences both productivity (β = 0.816, p < 0.05) and role balance (β = 0.787, p < 0.05). These findings align with the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Balanced Scorecard frameworks, demonstrating how cultural practices can serve as strategic resources to enhance time management and efficiency. The study contributes to the integration of local wisdom into modern management theories, offering practical implications for family welfare programs and entrepreneurship training. Future research should explore the scalability of Bapukung across diverse cultural contexts and its long-term influence on family dynamics and maternal well-being.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the influence of knowledge and family environment on interest in entrepreneurship at SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods.  The results of this research are 1) entrepreneurial knowledge influences interest in entrepreneurship at SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. 2) the family environment influences students' interest in entrepreneurship at SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. 3) entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment simultaneously influence the entrepreneurial interest variable.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine whether there is an influence of utilizing the school library on learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language subject, (2) determine whether there is an influence of students' learning motivation on learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language subject, and (3) determine whether there is a combined influence of utilizing the school library and students' learning motivation on learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language subject. The population in this study consists of fifth and sixth-grade students from public elementary schools in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, totaling 1,117 students from six public elementary schools. The sample for this research includes 285 students, determined according to the Krejcie and Morgan table. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling.The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is an effect of school library utilization (X1) on learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject (Y), based on the regression test results, the significance value (p) obtained is 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05 (p < 0.05); (2) student learning motivation (X2) has no effect on learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject (Y), based on the results of the nonlinear regression test, the significance value (p) obtained is 0.106, indicating that p > 0.05; (3) there is an effect of both school library utilization (X1) and student learning motivation (X2) together on learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject (Y), based on multiple nonlinear regression analysis, the regression R value is 0.199.

Abstract

Evaluasi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keefektifan Program Bimbingan Baca Tulis Hafal Al-qur’an (BBTHA) di Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP. Model evaluasi CIPP dari Stufflebeam terfokus pada empat aspek, yaitu: context, input, process, dan product. . pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Subjek penelitian yang dijadikan sumber data informasi adalah mahasiswa, Rektor, Wakil Rektor, dan Pembimbing BBTHA yang ada di Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) Analisis kebutuhan dan tuhuan serta sasaran program BBTHA ada pada kategori sangat baik. (2) Strategi pada aspek input termasuk pada kategori baik. (3) implementasi aktifitas kegiatan dalam aspek process termasuk dalam kategori baik. (4) Product dari program BBTHA ada pada kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari evaluasi ini adalah program BBTHA tetap dilanjutkan dengan beberapa perbaikan.
