Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the ARCS model to improve student learning outcomes in intergrated thematic learning in class IV UPTD SD N 01 IV Koto Talago, Lima Puluh Kota district. In this study, the type of classroom action research (CAR) was applied using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class IV, totaling 19 people. The results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I with an average of 82,9% (Enough) and cycle II with an average of 95,45% (Very Good), b) Imlement in the teacher activity of cycle I with an average of 81,25% (Enough) and cycle II with an average of 95% (Very Good), c) Imlement in the student activity of cycle I with an average of 81,25% (Enough) and cycle II with an average of 92,5% (Very Good). And student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average of 74,75(Less) and in the second cycle 89,1 (Good). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the ARCS model can improve the learning process integrated thematic learning in grade IV elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to proving students' Cognitive English enhancement using interactive multimedia with the utilization of interactive multimedia. This research is carried on the student of 7th class from SMPN 14 Kota Serang. The steps in this multimedia refers to the stages of CAFE learning method. The multimedia development is done through the stages of Research and Development (R&D) method: information gathering, planning, product development, Implementation and assessment. The average score obtained by students at the time of the pretest was 40.41 and the average score obtained by the students at the time of the posttest was 82.34. Based on these results, the average difference between the pretest and posttest values expressed in the gain (G) value is 0.709 with a very good category.

Abstract

Entering the current era of abundance, all sectors, especially the education sector, are experiencing significant demands and changes. This is also based on the policy of implementing education during the Covid-19 pandemic emergency, so learning from home through distance or online learning is the main choice. As educators in this era, they are required to be more skilled and innovative in implementing online learning and being able to integrate learning with information and communication technology (ICT) in accordance with the criteria of 21st century teachers. This study aims to determine the utilization or effectiveness of using online-based virtual media on Indonesian Language and Literature learning. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data collection is done through an online questionnaire or questionnaire using google form. The research subjects were Indonesian language teachers and students at SMAN Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding School (CMBBS). The sampling technique in this study used the "Stratified random sampling" technique or stratified random sampling based on a certain level. Based on the research results, the authors conclude that the use of virtual online media is very effective and helps the learning process at SMAN CMBBS and this can certainly answer the challenges in an era of abundance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to instill the character values of Love for the Homeland and Mutual Cooperation in the local wisdom of Manugal as a source of social studies learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and document study. Data analysis techniques used are reduction, display and conclusion drawing. The results show that the value of the character of manugal wisdom in the form of love for the homeland can be integrated as a socialstudies learning resource in Class IV in Basic Competence (KD) 3.2 Identifying social, economic, cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in the local province as the identity of the Indonesian nation, as well as its relationship with space characteristics. Teachers use local wisdom as a source of learning so that students easily understand the value of love for the homeland through local wisdom by loving their own culture that still exists to be maintained and preserved as the younger generation. The value of gotong royong can be integrated with social studies learning resources for class V in Basic Competencies 3.1 Identifying the geographical characteristics of Indonesia as an archipelagic/maritime and agrarian country and their influence on economic, social, cultural, communication and transportation life. The teacher instills the value of gotong royong through a rice seed planting event that is done together.

Abstract

This study will reveal the nature of the Reflective Thinking Process of Junior High School Students with Pragmatic Learning Style in Solving Problems in Curved Side Space Building Materials. This research was conducted in MTs. Miftahul Ulum Ngembal, Pasuruan. The research subjects were 9th grade students of MTs. Miftahul Ulum Ngembal, Pasuruan. The number of subjects in this study amounted to 2 MTs students with pragmatic learning style. Researchers in this qualitative research, act as the main instrument. While the supporting instruments in this study were in the form of test sheets, questionnaires, and interview guidelines. The results showed that: 1) In the Reacting phase. In the reacting phase, subject 1 was not able to mention in detail what was known but was able to mention what was asked and was unable to explain in detail the relationship between what was asked and what was known. While subject 2 is able to mention in detail what is known and what is being asked, and is able to explain in detail the relationship between what is asked and what is known. 2) In the Comparing phase. In this phase, subject 1 is able to explain the answers to the problems obtained, remember the formula used to answer the questions, and be able to relate the problems asked to the problems at hand. While subject 2 is able to remember the formula needed, but unable to apply it to the problem. So there is an error in answering the question. 3) In the Contemplating phase. In this phase, both subjects were able to detect errors and truths, and were able to correct errors. But at the time of concluding, subject 1 could conclude correctly, and subject 2 could not conclude correctly, because of errors made during the comparing phase.

Abstract

The research is based on the importance of learning development skills that PGSD students must possess, while the phenomena found indicate that PGSD students are still less skilled in developing learning. Therefore, a learning strategy is needed that allows it to be effective in developing these skills. The study aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of the Team Based Project strategy and Case Method to develop the learning development skills of PGSD students. Quantitative research design in the form of Quasi Experimental Design. The research population is all PGSD students who take the Advanced Class Elementary School learning development course. Samples were obtained by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of documentation. The results of the effectiveness test based on the t-test showed that the skills of developing student learning who studied with the team based project strategy and case method had an average of 81.4. Higher than students who study with direct learning strategies with an average of 73.9.

Abstract

lended learning is needed to improve the learning process and learning outcomes in distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to develop interactive blended learning in distance learning in history and sociology courses. The method in this study uses Research And Development with the Borg & Gall model modified with ADDIE. The research was piloted on students of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The result of this research is an interactive blended e-learning of history and sociology developed based on the designed storyboard. The validity of interactive blended e-learning shows a valid category. The results of individual trials showed good category. The results of the small group trial were in the good category. The results of the field trials showed the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' self-confidence and mathematical critical thinking skills of students who are taught with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with conventional learning. The research design used in this study was the Nonequivalent (pretest-posttest) Control- Group Design which was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year at SMK Negeri 13 Pandeglang. Data was collected using pretest and posttest. Hypothesis testing is done by using a t test. The results of data analysis showed that sig. > 0.05 means that the remaining mathematical critical thinking skills and self-confidence of students taught by the PBL learning model are better than the mathematical critical thinking skills and self-confidence of students taught by conventional learning. The contribution of the PBL learning model to the improvement of critical thinking skills is 43% and to the increase in students' self-confidence by 58% compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

Development of A Science Learning Video in An Effort to Improve Understanding of The Movement of The Solar System for Sixth Grade Students at SDN Cibeber District, Cilegon City. This study uses the Research and Development(Researchand Development / R & D) in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data are the results of feasibility tests by material experts, media experts, and audiences. development model that can be used, one of which is thedevelopment model ADDIE (Analyze-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation)This study aims to (1) produce video-based learning media products for science subjects, the subject of the movement of the solar system at SDN Cibeber City Cilegon. (2) Analyze and describe the validity of the use of video-based learning media in improving students' understanding of the material for the movement of the solar system at SDN Cibeber District, Cilegon City (3) Analyzing and describing the feasibility of using video-based learning media in improving students' understanding of movement material. solar system at SDN Cibeber District, Cilegon City. The results of this study show (1) the Eligibility Data of Media Experts Based on the results of the assessment of media experts with a total score of 81% which in the table includes the Very Eligible category to be tested on students. (2) The results of the Feasibility Data of the Material Experts Based on the results of the assessment of the material experts with a total score of 83% which in the table belongs to the category of Very Eligible to be tested on students (3) The results of the Feasibility Data from the respondents' assessments are based on the results of the assessments of 24 grade VI students with the total score is 1840, while the expected score is 2400, then the percentage of eligibility is calculated using the Eligibility Percentage formula. So the results of the feasibility of learning media according to the respondents are 82.08 which in the table is included in the very capable category.

Abstract

This study aims to increase interest in learning, learning activities and learning outcomes to explain the concept of static electricity to class IX E SMPN 1 Warunggunung students using experimental methods. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This action research was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle contained four components, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that the application of the experimental method can increase interest in learning, learning activities and learning outcomes to explain the concept of static electricity for class IX E SMPN 1 Warunggunung. This can be seen from the final score of student interest in learning in the first cycle of 3.21, an increase of 0.46 in the second cycle to 3.37, the average percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of 67.41%, an increase of 9.52 % in the second cycle to 76.66%, student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 78.33, an increase of 9.29 in the second cycle to 87.62. Likewise, the percentage of mastery learning has increased from 59.52%, increased by 33.34% to 92.86%.
