Abstract

This study aims to describe the definition of statistical literacy carried out in mathematics learning and its indicators by reviewing and analyzing the results of related research conducted from 2012 to 2022 in Google Scholar using publish or perish software. The method used is a literature review by selecting articles that have been published and in accordance with keywords. There were 11 articles published in relevant national and SINTA journals. The results of the research found can answer research questions, as follows: (a) the definition of statistical literacy is the ability used by a person by using statistical procedures on qualitative and quantitative data which begins with understanding data, processing data, presenting data, interpreting data, and making conclusions used to solve daily problems. And statistical literacy indicators are obtained, namely,1) reading to understand the data, 2) analyzing the data, 3) presenting the data, 4) interpreting the data, and 5) concluding or presenting the data. Research on statistical literacy variables is mostly carried out in universities with qualitative research types

Abstract

ICT INTEGRATION IN EDUCATION. In the 21st century, teachers and students are required to have information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities. Teachers are required to integrate ICT in their daily teaching and learning activities. This study aims to (1) identify the level of computer skills and knowledge of junior high school teachers in learning, and (2) identify the level of integration of ICT in the teaching and learning process. A total of 25 teachers from a junior high school in Cirebon have been selected to complete this quantitative study’s survey questionnaire. The findings revealed that most of the teachers had basic computer skills and knowledge. Moreover, results show that some teachers have integrated ICT in their teaching and learning activities. However, more support is needed for teachers to be able to access training or seminars related to ICT for teaching and learning. Further research can be conducted to look at other aspects of integrating ICT in education, such as learning strategies and policies related to ICT for teaching and learning.

Abstract

This study describes most of the speech forms that contain symptoms of code switching and code mixing as well as a description of the intentions or factors causing the symptoms of code switching and code mixing. The data source for this research is a video showing the speech title "Mata Najwa October 2021 Edition" which has been accessed on the Narasi youtube channel. The research method that the author uses is a descriptive analysis research method with data collection techniques through literature study with listening and note-taking techniques. The results of the analysis found consisted of four shows entitled soldiers of the new era, #percuma lapor polisi, servis manis bulu tangkis dan muda bersuara. The form of speech that occurs is in the form of code switching and internal code mixing from the official Indonesian language to the casual variety and Indonesian to the Medan language, while code switching and external code mixing occur from Indonesian to English. There are 248 utterances containing code switching and code mixing events. Forms of words are 159, phrases 65, clause 4 and sentence 20. The results of this study can be implied by KD 3.13 Analyzing the content of the debate (problems/issues, points of view and arguments of several parties, and conclusions).

Abstract

Research Purposes: To describe the procedure for developing learning media for wayang angkrok cardboard learning media, to test the effectiveness of the media developed. This research is a development research conducted at the Diponegoro Gugus Elementary School, Eromoko District, Wonogiri Regency. Data were obtained through tests and non-tests, product effectiveness tests using a before-after experimental design and an average difference test or t-test (independent sample t test). The results showed that the wayang angkrok learning media was relevant enough to be tested in small groups and could be continued at the field trial stage. The test of the effectiveness of the before-after experiment showed that the developed wayang angkrok was effectively used in learning mathematics. The mean difference test shows that the variance of the increase in the ability to count students between small groups and large groups is the same. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) difference in learning outcomes before using the wayang angkrok media and after using the angkrok puppet media in learning mathematics

Abstract

The Objective Of The Research Is: (1) describe the steps of developing KOLA visual media (2) to test the effectiveness of KOLA visual media. (3) To find out the increase in the ability to arrange a collection of objects based on patterns in class 1 students. The type of research is development research. The research was conducted at the Budi Utomo Cluster Elementary School, Puhpelem District, Wonogiri Regency. Data collection techniques with tests, non-tests and interviews. Test the effectiveness of the product using the after-before experiment and the mean difference test. The results showed that the KOLA visual media was effective to be used as a learning medium. KOLA visual media is effectively used in learning mathematics. There is a difference in the ability to arrange a collection of objects based on patterns between students who are taught using KOLA visual media and students who are not taught using KOLA visual media.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the development of pictorial cube media and to describe the effectiveness of pictorial cube media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) model. Data collection techniques with tests, non-tests, and interviews. The results showed that the validity of the illustrated cube learning media by media expert validators was 88.75 (very feasible) and 90.67 (very feasible) for language eligibility. The effectiveness of the illustrated cube media as measured by the before-after experimental design is known that the average value before using the media is smaller than the average value after using the media, thus the media developed is effective to be used as a medium for learning Indonesian. The value of F standard gain = 3.101 with a significance level of 0.088, this proves that the value variance between the experimental class group 1 and the experimental class group 2 is homogeneous. The standard gain t value for the same variance is (-5.497) which is greater than the ttable value of 0.05, the t value for df = 30 is 1.697. The results show that the value of tcount > ttable is tcount = (-5.497) > ttable 0.05 = 1.697. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) difference between the pretest and posttest scores in Indonesian language learning, this means that pictorial cube media can improve the second grade students' understanding of the basic Indonesian language lessons. 3.3. Determine vocabulary and concepts about the geographical environment, economic, social, and cultural life in the surrounding environment in Indonesian or regional languages ​​through written, oral, visual and/or environmental exploration texts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of picture series learning media that was developed in improving storytelling skills in grade I students. This research is a Research and Development (R & D). Data collection techniques with tests, non-tests, and interviews. The effectiveness analysis was carried out by comparing the results of the pretest and posttest tested with the mean difference test (Independent Sample t Test). The results showed that after being validated by media experts and linguists, learning media were suitable to be used to improve storytelling skills. The effectiveness of serial image media as measured using a before-after experimental design in field trials is known to have a pretest value of 69, and an average posttest value of 81.89. Based on the normality test with the One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov Test, the probability value of t-statistics> Level of Significant = 0.05, namely the pretest value of 0.852 and the posttest value of 0.778 (> 0.05), thus the research data is normally distributed. The results of the t-test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) difference between the pretest and posttest scores in Indonesian language learning, it can be interpreted that serial picture media can improve storytelling skills in grade I KD students. 4.9. Using the right vocabulary and expressions to introduce yourself, your family, and the people in your place of residence in a simple spoken and written form.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical facts regarding the implications of e-learning methods and teacher competencies on student learning achievement in Islamic Elementary Schools in Bandung. It involves 93 teachers who teach in the fifth grade and utilize the e-learning application “Edmodo”. This research employs a quantitative research method, where data collection is done through a questionnaire that measures teachers' perceptions regarding the variables of e-learning implementation, teacher competencies, and student learning achievement in their classes. Additionally, observations on the teaching and learning processes were conducted at the research site. The data analysis utilized path analysis as a statistical method. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of e-learning correlates with teacher competencies by 73.8%. The implementation of e-learning significantly influences student learning achievement by 64.0%, while teacher competencies have a significant impact on student achievement by 46.2%.

Abstract

The difference in learning in TK Negeri Pembina Purwantoro has various students who come from various regions outside Purwantoro, with various family backgrounds of education and work. So that the characteristics of students are also diverse. This study applies the sitrasic learning leadership program. The research method uses a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design type. The samples used were 2 classes, namely group A with 12 students and group B with 30 students. The difference test uses an independent sample t test. The results of the study showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes with the PBL learning method and student learning outcomes with the differentiated method through sitrasic.

Abstract

The government has observed that the formation of national character through education at all levels of education, but its implementation has not shown optimal results. One of the character education strengthening programs launched by the government is character education based on community empowerment. This study discusses local wisdom that is still adhered to by the indigenous people of Kuta Village, Ciamis as the Strengthening of Local Wisdom Character Education Based on Community Empowerment. In this study, a qualitative approach was used with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The data obtained were then analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the indigenous people of Kuta Village in their daily lives reflect the main character values ​​contained in the Strengthening of Character Education. These character values ​​include religious, nationalist, mutual cooperation, independent, integrity, and mutual cooperation. The manifestation of these character values ​​can be seen in their lives through several activities, namely local wisdom field schools, revitalization of art preservation, and development of UMKM based on the potential of existing natural resources.
