Abstract

This research started from the condition in each school that lacks awareness of environmental preservation. Adiwiyata School aims to create a school community that cares and is cultured towards the environment. The only problem that remains is when students are asked about the Adiwiyata program there are still those who do not understand the program. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 135 Palembang. The results showed that there are the programs a) Socialization of the implementation involved in the Adiwiyata program policies through meeting b) Make a green house or a nursery c) Making biopori infiltration holes d) There is a special room for processing waste with the 3R principle (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle) e) The existence of hydroponic plants, namely cultivation of plants using water f) Invate students to bring their own drinking bottles and eating places g) Competing in used materials h) Make Adiwiyata monument.

Abstract

Character education is the main pillar in creating a person?s character through education, both formal and informal education. This study aims to find out the habituation and the usual activities conducted by homeroom teachers for character development of students with special needs in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta. The results showed many activities taken by the guardians at the school in the developing character of students. Some of the activities were flag ceremonies, cooperation, activities that instill values of integrity, as well as nationalist and religious activities. Also, there are habituation activities conducted by the homeroom teacher in developing the character of students with special needs. Among others are independencies, lining up before entering the classroom, knocking on the door, and greeting before entering the room, tidying up the equipment after use, immediately apologizing if making a mistake, and respecting religious differences. The implication in the character formation and development of students with special needs that the habituation should be done continuously to facilitate the implementation in the society.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology needs to be addressed by various schools to focus more on improving human resources. Human resources in Indonesia are very low so it needs to improve the quality of human resources, both in terms of intellectual, spiritual, creativity, morality, and responsibility. All need help from the principal as a leader to realize quality competitiveness. The principal needs his leadership strategy in facing this digital 4.0 era. How the strategy will be used will lead to good change. This study aims to find out how the principal's leadership strategy in dealing with the digital era 4, O. is qualitative research. It can be concluded that the principal's strategy is to improve the quality of human resources in the field of ICT in terms of facilities and infrastructure, openness with developments to deal with things that will happen in the digital 4.0 era, reactions that will be carried out quickly about changes in the 4.0 era, oriented on the process and results, Mastering the 4C formula, namely: critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration.

Abstract

Students must be able to adapt the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, so there is a need for efforts to align expertise. This research was conducted to see the role of entrepreneurship education in influencing the ability of students' technopreneurship towards innovative behavior of students with the skills of the Industrial Revolution era 4.0 as a mediating variable. The population in this study were Andalas University Padang students. Determination of the size of the sample based on percentages according to the Yount Table. Based on these considerations, the sample in this study amounted to 252 Andalas University students from 15 Faculties at Andalas University, Padang. 162 respondents have received Entrepreneurship Education (Group I) and 90 respondents have not received Entrepreneurship Education (Group II). Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire with a Rating scale measurement. Data obtained from the questionnaire was processed using the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) method using the help of Smart PLS software. From this study it can be concluded that there is a role in Entrepreneurship Education in influencing the ability of student technopreneurship towards innovative behavior of students with the skills of the Industrial Revolution era 4.0 as a mediating variable.

Abstract

This research tested the effect of compensation, supervision and work discipline on employee performance at PT Jaya Mandiri Bangunan. The performance of PT Jaya Mandiri Bangunan's employees has decreased due to unsatisfactory compensation, oversight that is still not optimal and work discipline that has not been good. The population and sample in this study amounted to 68 employees of PT Jaya Mandiri Bangunan. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of calculation of hypothesis testing indicate that partially compensation, supervision and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Jaya Mandiri Bangunan. Simultaneously compensation, supervision and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Jaya Mandiri Bangunan.

: In this qualitative study, the researchers described the implementation of supervision by the principal in State Primary School 11 Kampung Baru, Batusangkar. The data in this study were from the principal and the teachers. Abstract

Generally, this study aims to find out the true picture regarding the quality of infrastructure services to the satisfaction of students in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires that were distributed to 275 students as the study sample. The result of the calculation using the general trend show that student satisfaction in the high category with an average score of 4.24 and quality of services in environmental infrastructure SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang included in the high category with an average score of 3.53. The correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment, the correlation coefficient between variables X and Y is equal to 0.786 which shows that the correlation between the two variables are at high-level relations. The results of the significance test that is 5.264 > 1,968692, it means that the correlation coefficient between variables X and Y are significant with linear regression analysis equation Ŷ = 50,022 + 0,493X1, this means that any change in one unit variable X will be followed by a change of variable Y for 0,493. It is concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship of quality service infrastructures on students’ satisfaction in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang.

Abstract

Leadership plays an important role in the organization. The success or failure of an organization is one of them is determined by the resources in the organization. In addition, the factors that play an important role are leadership factors. The main role of leadership is to influence others to achieve the stated goals. In organizations or groups, it is in desperate need of a leader who has the ability to play a role in enhancing the ability of human resources. Therefore leaders in an organization should play a role as much as possible in determining the direction of human resources and as far as possible become change agents, spokespersons and trainers. Role of a leader in the success of an organization is reflected in the leadership style applied to influence his followers. Leadership is guiding, guiding, guiding, building, giving or motivating work, directing the organization, establishing a good communication network, providing efficient supervision, and bringing followers to the target to be addressed in accordance with the time and planning provisions. If the company does not carry out leadership functions, then the company cannot develop.

Abstract

The role of educators should be able to carry out the inspiration of learning. The existence of teachers as one component in the education system greatly affects the formation of student discipline character in SD Negeri 3 Rejosari Belitang Mulya District, OKU Timur. This research was descriptive qualitative. This research provided an overview of the character of students’ discipline and provide solutions in character-based learning for students in OKU Timur. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study explained that teachers as educators, teachers as teachers, teachers as mentors, teachers as trainers, and teachers as evaluators. The role of classroom teachers in SD Negeri 3 Rejosari has been good already, because each class teacher has applied the five aspects of the role of the class teacher well. Efforts of classroom teachers in the formation of student character are using habituation method, exemplary, lecture and simulation. Therefore, teachers have an important role in building the character of the nation.

Abstract

This research investigated headmaster’s strategy to develop school’ culture through School Based Management. It used a qualitative approach with case studies. Data were collected by using interviews, observation, and study of the documents/artifacts. Data validation was done through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. This results showed that headmaster’s strategy to develop school’ culture started from developing discipline culture.
