Abstract

Electrical energy transmission plays an important role as a means of distributing electrical energy from generation to distribution and consumers. During the process of distributing electrical energy, disturbances such as short circuits often occur. Therefore, there needs to be safeguards so that the distribution process runs well. One of the safety equipment in the main substation is the circuit breaker. Circuit breaker is a mechanical switch or switching equipment that can close, transmit or disconnect the load current under normal conditions or under abnormal conditions such as a short circuit. Problems with circuit breaker can be detrimental and disrupt the operation of the electric power system. If the circuit breaker does not work properly when a disturbance occurs, the disturbance can damage other devices and cause instability in the distribution of electrical power. Therefore, regular testing and maintenance must be carried out to ensure the circuit breaker is suitable for operation. The testing stages include SF6 pressure, insulation resistance, contact resistance, and circuit breaker contact simultaneity. The test results show SF6 pressure with a value above the circuit breaker nameplate, insulation resistance with a value above 150 MΩ, contact resistance with a standard value below 50 µΩ, and contact simultaneity testing is carried out by calculating the delta time when close and open on each phase in below the value of 10 ms. In accordance with the results of SF6 gas pressure testing, insulation resistance, contact resistance and circuit breaker synchronization at the 150 KV Rungkut Bay Line Main Substation, Surabaya Selatan, it is in operational condition.

Abstract

The Extruder Machine at PT. Delta Jaya Mas plays a critical role in the production of rubber and PVC hoses, as well as molded rubber products. This process involves the use of a 3-phase synchronous motor and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), which can introduce harmonics into the electrical system due to their non-linear load. These harmonics can cause waveform distortion, leading to decreased efficiency and potential equipment damage. To overcome this issue, a comprehensive research is being conducted utilizing the Power Simulator (PSIM) program to analyze the impact of harmonics and evaluate the effectiveness of both active and passive filters in reducing these unwanted distortions. Initial assessments of the Extruder SDP panel revealed elevated levels of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in the current phases, while the voltage phases remained within acceptable thresholds. Simulation results demonstrated that the active filter was able to significantly reduce THD to an impressive 1.57%, showcasing its effectiveness in harmonic mitigation. On the other hand, the passive filter also proved beneficial, albeit to a slightly lesser extent, achieving a reduction in THD to 34.07%. This ongoing research not only aims to assist PT. Delta Jaya Mas in implementing appropriate harmonic reduction measures for their Extruder Machine but also seeks to advance the understanding of harmonic analysis and filter applications.

Abstract

The Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) is a relevant tuberculosis diagnostic test, with sensitivity and specificity ≥ 90%. Nutritional status is an important factor in the occurrence of infectious diseases, including TB. Nutritional status greatly determines the body's ability to fight TB germs. Children with good nutrition can prevent the spread of the disease, while children with poor nutritional status or stunting can cause lung disease with large cavities at an early age. This research aims to determine Child Tuberculosis Screening via MT (Mauntox Test) on the Nutritional Status of Toddlers. The population of this study were toddlers aged 1-59 months with stunting. The stages of this research include: Scoring system, namely weighting symptoms or clinical signs in children suspected of having TB by carrying out anamnesis and physical examination (Symptom scoring and TB supporting examinations), Determining Status Toddler nutrition is measured anthropometrically based on height for age (TB/U) and (WW/U) with Z-Score, Tuberculin Test. Test data analysis using Logistic Regression, to see the level of influence of Tuberculosis Screening via the Mountox Test on the incidence of Stunting, while bivariate testing using chi square and multivariate testing using Logistic Regression. Research results: age, gender, immunization status and the results of the Mauntox screening test did not affect the nutritional status of toddlers, whether based on PB/U or BB/U because it was seen that the p-value was >0.10. Meanwhile, gender has a 1,258 times risk of stunting (PB/U) and age has a 2,054 times risk of very poor nutritional status (BB/U). The conclusion is that there is no effect of the Mauntox test on the nutritional status of toddlers
