Abstract

Dapur Umma is a micro business in the culinary field that produces various bottled chili sauce, dried potatoes and spring rolls and fireworks. Based on the results of the field survey, it was found that Dapur Umma had limited problems in marketing its products to the public during the Covid-19 pandemic, where the number of requests that usually came from outside the city fell by up to 60%. This is a problem that cannot be found for a solution because (1) the lack of knowledge about how to promote their products digitally which is interesting and unique and has durability (2) Limited knowledge in financial management to be able to calculate the profit value of the sale of Umma Kitchen. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to help the Umma Kitchen Micro Business which is engaged in the business of chili sauce, dried potatoes and firecracker spring rolls to be able to increase sales value through digital-based marketing and financial management techniques solutions. The final result of this activity can increase the production and marketing value from 45% to 85%.

Abstract

Dieng Wetan Village is one of the areas in Wonosobo Regency that has tourism potential. In publicizing their tourism potential, local youth released an Instagram account @desadieng. However, the publication of tourism through this account is a problem. This is due to several factors. First, the lack of human resources (HR) from the youth organizations of Dieng Wetan Village as managers. Second, the need to strengthen HR skills in terms of content writing, photo and video production as a medium for publication of regional tourism potential. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a training in the production of written and photo content for youth members of Dieng Wetan Village as the manager of the official @desadieng account as a form of publication of regional tourism potential. The training was carried out in four stages, including situation analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The training program which was held for two days began with the provision of materials, discussions, field practices, and evaluations. As a result, participants were able to create promotional content for the tourism potential of Dieng Wetan Village through Instagram social media channels. In the future, participants need to sharpen their sensitivity to local wisdom issues that can enrich publication materials. In addition, public awareness also needs to be formed so that they can independently manage the @desadieng account as the official and consistent official account of Dieng Wetan Village tourism publications.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture Program (KKN) of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta provides support for the establishment of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). The benefits of BUMDes are to improve the village and community economy, increase original village income, and improve potential village management according to community needs and economic equity. The implementation of the Community Service Program was held in Sendangarum Village, Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region, from October 15 to December 15, 2021, in the context of community service, which aims to optimize the potential and progress of the village by preparing villages to form BUMDes. The method of implementing the program is by socializing the importance of establishing BUMDes, making complete information about villages through making village profiles that are useful as village introductions, and exploring village potential. The appearance of an attractive Instagram logo and social media is a strategy to increase product sales packaged in preparing for the formation of BUMDes. Assistance and training with training on institutional aspects of BUMDes, BUMDes Innovation Training, BUMDes Digitization Training, and BUMDes Sustainability Training help prepare for the formation of (BUMDes). Mentoring and training facilitated by the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta support realizing the ideals of Sendangarum Village to have a BUMDes.

Abstract

The difficulty experienced by the board members of the Khoirunnisa Taklim Council in managing the elderly TPA is the low motivation and ability to read Al-Quran in elderly women. They complained that the Iqro method used was considered too serious and monotonous so that the mothers had difficulty and lack of enthusiasm in learning to read the Koran. Thus, this service program aims to introduce the Ummi method and the 10-hour learning method of reading Al-Quran for elderly TPA teachers. This service program method is carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, technical assistance, and evaluation of service success. The results of this service program show that; (1) Workshops on the Qur'anic learning method using the Ummi method and the 10-hour method have been able to improve the insight and skills of elderly TPA teachers; (2) The 10-hour Quran reading learning method is more desirable than the UMMI method because it is free and easy to implement. Meanwhile, Ummi's method was considered too procedural and expensive to follow; (3) The 10-hour learning method for reading the Koran is proven to be effective in increasing the motivation of elderly mothers in learning to read the Koran because the material is easily accessible, shared, and practical. The implication of this service for the community is that in learning Al-Quran, it must prioritize the elements of fun, convenience, and according to the age of the students.

Abstract

 Ranuyoso is one of the villages in Lumajang Regency which has the potential to become a tourism village. This potential is supported by the existence of an 8 (eight) hectare unused land owned by Perhutani, whose management rights are handed over to villagers, but its utilization has not been maximized to support the program for establishing a tourism village. Therefore, this community service program is the first step towards realizing the development of Ranuyoso as a tourism village. The activity carried out is in the form of data collection as a reference for mapping the concept of the Ranuyoso tourism village. By applying the principles of Community Based Tourism (CBT), this activity involves the active role of villagers in Focus Group Discussions (FGD), interview, and field observation. The results of this activity show that Ranuyoso village has several potentials in the form of hills, springs, fruits, and distinctive arts and culture that can be developed as assets of a tourism village. These potentials are the basis for formulating the concept of Ranuyoso tourism village, namely a tourism village that presents the integration of water tourism, culture and arts tourism, fruit tourism, and adventure tourism. In addition, this activity also resulted in a draft of cooperation agreement between Faculty of Cultural Studies Universitas Brawijaya (FCS UB) and Forest Village Community Institution (LMDH) as a legal basis for discussing cooperation related to the development of Ranuyoso..

Abstract

The financial behavior of Gen Z nowadays will have impact to the future of Indonesia as a nation. According to data provided by BPS (2020), in the year 2030 Indonesia will face demography bonus, where the composition of population will be dominated by Gen Y (27.94%) and Gen Z (25.87%). Therefore, Gen Z must be prepared to be able to contribute to further improving Indonesia economics. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to Gen Z regarding Islamic financial planning and management, so that Gen Z can achieve financial freedom in the future activity. Community service was held on 30 Jun 2022 at SMK Islam Malahayati, with 75 students as participants. The method used in this training is participatory. The material is delivered through lectures, followed by the practice of financial planning and financial management, as well as discussions and questions and answers from participants. The participants were enthusiastic and listened to the material well. It could be seen from the results of the answers to the questions given through the questionnaire. Not only that, the participants also gave positive feedback on this activity.

Abstract

The family planning (KB) program is one of the government programs organized to limit births to reduce population growth. The purpose of this community service is to improve the family planning program in an effort to regulate the birth of children, distance, and the ideal age of childbirth, regulate pregnancy, through promotion, protection and assistance in accordance with reproductive rights to create a quality and prosperous family. This community service method is carried out by conducting socialization, counseling, and health promotion to 26 couples of childbearing age at the Edelweiss Posyandu Working Area of the Baloi Permai Health Center, Batam City, Riau Islands. This counseling uses measuring instruments by taking data directly from respondents through filling out pre-test and post-test checklist sheets that have been distributed to participants.  Various contraceptives were also explained to 26 couples of childbearing age, namely natural birth control, pills, injections and long-term birth control. This counseling was carried out at the Edelweiss Posyandu working area of the Baloi Permai Health Center, Batam City, Riau Islands, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, which was attended by 26 couples of childbearing age by producing an increase in pus knowledge and insight. It can be concluded that the community at the Edelweiss Posyandu was enthusiastic by giving questions and did not die from the community service counseling site.

Abstract

Microsoft Office functions are very important to support various work related to offices and multimedia.  In today's era, almost all office work requires Microsoft Office programs in its completion, not to mention in the world of education.  Microsoft Office itself is a collection of software applications that are used to process, store, and combine data in the form of documents. One of the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) programs is PowerPoint, where the PowerPoint features really is supports the process of implementing education, especially for teachers who is teaching students.  With the recognition of MOS, teachers will have the ability to take advantage of features, especially features in PowerPoint that can be implemented in the teaching and learning process.  Awareness of MA Ma'arif's 03 KKM (Kelompok Kerja Madrasah) teachers in Kab.  Demak for the development of information technology to be creative and innovative in creating interesting teaching media for students is the background for this service activities.  This activities are carried out using the method of direct mentoring to partners through MOS PowerPoint training and exams. The results of the MOS PowerPoint training evaluation, 100% of participants passed the exam. the implementation of community service has succeeded in achieving the goals and targets that have been set, seen from the positive responses from participants whose all assistance is training and is relevant to needs.

Abstract

This community service program is aimed at (1) improving teacher skills in designing fiction scripts in the form of making children's story books, (2) increasing the positive reputation of the teacher education institution concerned through increasing teacher expertise, the work produced and related positive publications in the mass media, and (3) increasing the intellectual property owned by the teacher in question himself. The participants of this activity were PAUD KB KB teachers 'Aisyiyah Surya Melati, Brajan, Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul. Preliminary studies through observation showed that none of these family planning teachers had published children's stories even though they had been struggling with the world of children's education for a long time. Therefore, this program was designed in the form of training in writing children's stories as well as assistance in the publication of these stories. There are 20 participants. This empowerment resulted in an anthology of children's stories with ISBN entitled "Pendar-Pendar Hikmah untuk Si Buah Hati".

Abstract

This activity aims to help female micro-entrepreneurs who are recipients of the  Program Keluarga Harapan solve their problems in their business so that they can proceed towards graduation. The problems faced are the entrepreneurial spirit which sometimes fluctuates, especially during a pandemic; limited capital to increase business volume; limited knowledge of business management, as well as low access/utilization of technology to support business. The solution for solving this problem is to provide business strengthening through entrepreneurship training, digital marketing and assistance for the formation of joint business groups. Training and mentoring are carried out using participant and project based learning methods as well as mentoring. The activity was carried out for 6 months, starting from May to October 2021. The team consisted of 5 people with relevant fields of expertise. The result of this activity is an increase in the entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge and empowerment of PPM partners so that they can improve their Culinary Business and progress towards graduation.
