Abstract

The importance of this research is to examine the implementation of sports coaching. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of sports training. This study encourage government of sports education and training so as to help the government know how the progress of athletes in sports training centers as an effort to advance, improve and nurture athletes who are capable of takraw to the international level. This study uses a context evaluation approach that refers to the CIPPO model with the method used is a mixed method with an explanatory model. The number of research samples is 25 athletes, coaches, stakeholders, KONI and PSTI sepak takraw using simple random sampling technique. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires, interviews, observations, and instrument documentation. Analysis of the questionnaire data conducted by researchers using descriptive statistics. Meanwhile, data analysis from interviews was conducted with Miles & Huberman. With the results and conclusions of the study that sepak takraw athletes still experience several obstacles in increasing their capacity as professional athletes to compete in the international arena, they do require several solutions and strategies from the government and other supporters.

Abstract

Educational institutions will basically get many benefits from using technology, such as augmented reality technology which is designed to support the learning process in the classroom, plus augmented reality technology can be operated on smartphones. This study aims to analyze the opportunities for the use of smartphones in the context of innovation in the development of learning media with augmented reality formats. A qualitative approach was used in this study with a survey method. The population used is Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students with a sample was 127 students. The data collection technique in this study was a non-test technique, with the data collection instrument being a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that smartphones are a technology that is quite familiar to students, considering that most students have them, students also like learning activities that utilize smartphones because they contain several components such as text, graphics, narration, video and even animation. The results of this study can certainly be the basis for developing an augmented reality-based learning media product considering the components that make students motivated to learn are contained in it. Through this research, it is hoped that new learning resource innovations will emerge with the hope that students can be facilitated in learning the material and mastering the various competencies they need.

Abstract

Learning Model requires coaching and developing students' thinking skills, especially in the cognitive domain to combine playing with learning. Students are engaged in learning using the crossword puzzle method, both mentally and physically. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the crossword puzzle model on students' interest to learn Indonesian based on how well students can read. This study employed a quasi-experimental experimental design. All 35 samples of third-grade pupils served as the study's subjects. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaire and test and documentation. The data analysis techniques used is descriptive data analysis. According to research findings, adopting the crossword puzzle approach had an impact on students' enthusiasm in learning Indonesian based on literacy. Students' interest in learning Indonesian using crossword puzzle media was higher with an average score of 91.55 if compared with the control class that did not use crossword puzzle media, which was 64.23. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of crossword puzzle media on students' interest in learning Indonesian. The implication of this study is in available for elementary schools in implementing learning with crossword puzzles, carried out and adapted to the abilities and conditions of students.

Abstract

It is crucial that educational establishments uphold the standard of teachers' pedagogical ability. There are a number of strategies that may be used to improve educators' competency, including performing their tasks as educators in a professional manner and trying to discipline oneself to engage in various activities that can foster competency growth. This research aimed to analyze the pedagogical competency development strategy for educators. The study used primary data through interviews and questionnaires of 63 informants as samples based on sample criteria of 3 principals, 30 educators and 30 students as informants. The findings show that the headmaster of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah, as a leader in each institution, employs a variety of strategies for enhancing pedagogical proficiency of educators by inspiring and involving educators to participate in a variety of scientific activities like energizing Subject Teachers Conference, Teacher Working Group, seminars, training, and workshops. It can be concluded that the growth of educators' pedagogical competency complies with national educational requirements. Moreover, it is crucial for educational institutions at all levels to create ways to uphold the standard of educator competencies.

Abstract

Dharma Wanita members tend to pay less attention to ethics in dress and the use of uniform attributes according to regulations. This is caused by various professions, education, culture, and economy as well as a lack of knowledge about dressing. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the influence of fashion knowledge, clothing selection factors, and dress etiquette on dress appearance. The research was aimed at members of Dharma Wanita with a sample of 60 respondents taken by purposive sampling technique. A combination of factor analysis and regression analysis was used to analyze the data using second-order PLS-SEM analysis. Evaluation of the measurement model on convergent and discriminant validity as well as internal consistency reliability has met the requirements. The structural model evaluation shows a large influence contribution of 97.00%, and the research observation value is 60.10%. All hypotheses are accepted indicating that there is a positive and significant effect of all variables on dress appearance. Even though the category analysis is good, it is recommended for administrators provide rules for the use of work uniforms and good attributes to support work activities. Therefore, Dharma Wanita members can choose and repair clothes to make them more harmonious and beautiful to support their daily activities.

Abstract

Nowdays in elementary and middle school, there has been a noticeable rise in expectations for children' writing abilities. This study aimed to analyze the application of make and match model on the writing skills of Indonesian students. The type of research used was experimental research, with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was fourth grade students, totaling 27 students, consisting of 13 students from class A and 14 students from class B. Data collection techniques in conducting this research are observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained an average pretest score of 68.21 and posttest 78.85. The results obtained from the t-test, the t-count value is 8.034 and the t-table is 1.782 with a significant level of 0.05 turns out to meet the criteria, t-count t table. The data obtained by using the –t test formula. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the calculated data value was > from t table. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the make a match learning method is effective in learning Indonesian for improvement of the writing ability of the fourth grade students.

Abstract

Students have a role in maintaining values for the development of country. One effort to strengthen the role of these students is through the independent learning program (MBKM). Independent Learning – Independent Campus (MBKM) is one of the policies of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This study aims to develop a Sociology textbook based on the IOC (Inside Outside Circle) model for the implementation of MBKM. This research method uses research and development (R & D) which aims to develop certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The essence of this development research is the validation and revision of the class X sociology textbook based on the 4-D model which consists of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop and Desiminate. The results of trials conducted on 35 students showed that student learning outcomes were in the very good category, student learning outcomes were in the good category. Of the 35 students who have completed, individually in the sociology class, it means that students have achieved the KKM that has been set, namely 80%. It can be concluded that students have met the criteria set in the development of sociology textbooks in sociology subjects.

Abstract

The existence of student autonomy in learning and the fulfillment of student learning needs is the main characteristic and key to creating student-centered learning. The distribution of learning independence and completing students' learning needs are two core indicators of student-centered learning. This study analyzes students' perceptions of how far teachers have fulfilled their learning needs and distributed autonomy in managing the learning process. 235 students (110= = male; 125 = female) from public secondary schools in Bandung, which implement Kurikulum Merdeka, were involved as the research subject. The data was gathered by survey method through a Likert-style questionnaire consisting of 25 behavioral descriptions that described teacher teaching behavior to facilitate students' learning needs and autonomy and were then analyzed by quantitative descriptive method. Study findings show that overall, students perceived teachers' capability to meet their learning needs and distribute freedom as low. Furthermore, there is no significant difference in perception between male and female students.

Abstract

One of the central issues currently being discussed in the world of education is character education. Character education is experiencing disorientation, the fading of Pancasila values, and the shifting of life values as a result of globalization. This means that character education needs to be instilled from an early age, especially in elementary schools, one of which is independent character education. The aims of this study are to analyze the implementation of strengthening independent character education through "market day" for low grade students in elementary schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological research design. The research methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification. The results showed that in the market day program there were 3 stages, namely planning by holding monthly meetings by the school to form a market day management team, the implementation stage starting from students preparing goods stands, selling merchandise to bookkeeping and the evaluation stage once a week to monitor the development of student independence. The study used 5 independent indicators including doing their own work, taking initiative, not giving up, self-confidence and self-satisfaction, all indicators were fulfilled and indicated that the market day program was successful in being able to strengthen the independent character education of low-grade elementary school students in the very good category.

Abstract

Vocational education has a duty to help green industries and sustainable development in society. However, learning in vocational education still has many shortcomings that must be overcome, given the contribution of a sizable negative impact on the environment. The implementation of green skills in learning is very important as an effort to overcome these problems. This study analyzes the perceptions of teachers and students as learning practitioners towards the implementation of green skills in the form of activity behavior in learning. Ten teachers and eight students were involved as key informants in collecting data through semi-structured interview techniques. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically with the help of NVivo 12 Plus Software. The findings in this study are classified into three main aspects, namely green skills planning activities, green behavior activities during learning, and green skills implementation evaluation. Planning activities related to the formulation of green competency outcomes, infrastructure needs and student readiness. As long as its implementation is oriented towards the behavior of reuse, reduce, repair and recycle. The impact of green behavior that is generated is about student learning comfort, energy-saving behavior and the ability to develop green products. The perceived evaluation is related to improving learning methodologies and building collaboration in class or collaboration with stakeholders, including the green industry, the local green environment service. Besides that, strengthening the competence of green skills-based learning management is very important to do.
