Abstract

The problem in this research is student learning outcomes, which are important indicators of success in higher education which are influenced by various factors. This research aims to identify and analyze factors that influence student learning outcomes. These factors can be divided into two main categories, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include Interest, Motivation and Readiness in the Learning process. Meanwhile, external factors include family aspects, school aspects and community aspects. Apart from that, the cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain also play a role in influencing the quality of learning outcomes. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers on economic education students at Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu regarding student learning outcomes in financial accounting courses, it can be concluded that the factors that influence student learning outcomes in financial accounting courses are in terms of interest, motivation and community environment.

Abstract

This study aims to see and find out how the purchasing decisions of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University with the factors of brand ambassadors, price and product design. The type of research used is quantitative research using a survey method with instruments in the form of questionnaires and methods. This study used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with a sample of 133 respondents. The results of this study indicate that brand ambassadors have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, prices have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, product design has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, product quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, brand ambassadors have a positive and significant influence on product quality, prices have a positive and significant influence on product quality, product design has a positive and significant influence on product quality

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the flipped classroom technique in improving mastery of basic economic concepts in class X students at SMAN 1 Bonai Darussalam. The study used an experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach, involving 20 students divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was taught using a flipped classroom, while the control group was taught using conventional teaching methods. The research instrument tesa questionnaire and its mastery of economic concepts and results of data analysis using the Independent Samples t-test-test showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups, with a higher average value of concept mastery in the flipped classroom group (16.4000) compared to the control group (-0.6000). The higher standard deviation in the flipped classroom group shows variation in student results, but overall, this technique is more effective in improving concept understanding than conventional methods. In conclusion, the flipped classroom provides a more interactive and productive approach, helping students learn independently and increasing engagement in the learning process. It is recommended that this technique be implemented more widely in teaching economics or other subjects that require a deep understanding of concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to examine compensation for employee performance, motivation for employee performance. This research uses quantitative methods. The data analysis technique in this research is multiple linear analysis, instrument testing, classical assumption testing (normality, heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity tests, coefficient of determination test and hypothesis testing. The population in this research is taking 30 employees who work at PT. Buana Hijau Abadi using primary data using saturated sampling, a sample of 30 respondents was obtained, processing the data using SPSS version 29 software. The results of this research show that compensation (X1) in the t test has no influence on employee performance (Y). This is proven by the calculated t value > t table is (0.129 > 0.05) and motivation (X2) there is an influence of motivation on performance (Y). This is proven by the calculated t value < t table with a value of (0.007 < 0.05, but in the F Compensation statistical test and Motivation have a simultaneous influence on employee performance, this is proven by the calculated t value < t table (0.004 < 0.05). The Adjusted R Square coefficient of determination of 3.34 states that the Compensation (X1) and Motivation (X2) variables have contribution is 33.4% to employee performance (Y) and the remaining 66.6% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

E-commerce or electronic commerce, involves the online buying and selling of goods and services, linking businesses with consumers. This study explores how various elements of fashion e-commerce service quality affect customer perceptions and satisfaction. Higher satisfaction levels in e-commerce often result in increased customer retention. Utilizing the SERVQUAL model, the research evaluated service quality by examining factors related to information and system quality. Surveys were conducted among Indonesian adults from September to October 2024, with data analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. The results revealed significant correlations between reliability and responsiveness in fashion e-commerce service quality. Additionally, system qualities were strongly linked to overall service excellence. The findings emphasize that perceived service quality is vital for customer satisfaction and their revisit intention. Key factors influencing service quality included reliability, interactivity, and ease of use. To enhance quality perception and foster user trust, e-commerce managers should adopt advanced technologies. The study concludes with suggestions for future research.

Abstract

In the midst of the dynamics of the country's development, the Human Development Index (HDI) is an important indicator for measuring the success and quality of people's lives. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of government spending in the education and health sectors on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Bandung City in 2013-2022. In this research, the method used is multiple linear regression. Based on the research results, it shows that the Bandung city government's partial expenditure on the education sector and government expenditure on the health sector have a positive and significant effect on HDI. Then, simultaneously or concurrently, government spending on education and health has a significant effect on the HDI in the Bandung City sector in the 2013-2022 period. Budget allocation policies, especially in the Education and Health sectors, have increased which has resulted in the human development index in the city of Bandung also increasing every year. Government budget allocations in education aim to increase access to knowledge and skills, while spending on health aims to provide access to health services to improve community welfare. Both contribute to increasing the human development index in Bandung City.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is an effort to market a product or service, using a certain pattern of plans and tactics so that the number of sales becomes higher. Nowadays everything becomes easier including marketing strategies and this is in line with the development of the times, many shops have sold and promoted their products online and also sold products offline. So, it should be that shops in the city of Sintang can follow the current trends or developments. The purpose of this study is to see the marketing strategy that is suitable for increasing consumer buying interest. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with a descriptive research form. The data sources for this study are shop owners, employees and consumers. Data collection tools use observation, interview and documentation guidelines. The results of this study indicate that (1) marketing strategies can be implemented well with direct selling, upselling and cross-selling marketing strategies. (2) The strengths of the store are direct marketing strategies and promotions, (3) Cosmetic stores also have weaknesses, namely in transportation and employees who are still less confident and marketing locations that are far from the location, and (4) have threats such as competitors who use the same marketing strategy and shops in urban areas that use online platforms.

Abstract

The competition of tourist destinations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is getting tighter, encouraging managers to improve the quality of facilities and infrastructure to attract tourists. This study examines the influence of destination image, tourist motivation, and tourist satisfaction as intervening variables on tourist loyalty. This study is quantitative by taking 160 samples from tourists visiting tourist destinations in DIY. Sampling was carried out using a non-probability method and using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out online by sending a questionnaire link to respondents. Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS application. The results of the study showed that destination image and tourist motivation had a significant effect on tourist satisfaction, while satisfaction and destination image had a significant effect on tourist loyalty. However, tourist motivation did not have a direct effect on loyalty, although its role was mediated by tourist satisfaction. The implication of this study is the importance of improving destination image through promoting local uniqueness and service quality and prioritizing a satisfying tourist experience. Although motivation does not have a direct effect, understanding tourist needs can indirectly strengthen loyalty. With a satisfaction-based strategy, DIY tourist destinations can increase competitiveness and encourage tourist loyalty in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The increase in sales or revenue has a significant impact on economic growth, with creativity being the main driver to achieve it. One approach to fostering economic growth is through the creative economy, which can be leveraged by MSMEs in Central Kalimantan, an area rich in rattan potential. This study aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of the rattan craft industry, as well as explore its impacts on the surrounding community, including job creation, income generation, and the preservation of local culture. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. The research was conducted at Alexander Borneo, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, with Mrs. Corry as the primary informant. The findings reveal that efficient distribution and extensive promotion are key factors driving economic growth. On the other hand, the main challenges faced by Alexander Borneo include fluctuations in production and the limitations of suppliers, who are not always able to meet market demand. This study provides insights into the importance of managing distribution and suppliers to ensure smooth MSME operations, as well as recommendations for enhancing business resilience through supplier diversification and improved production efficiency

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of development in compiling social studies teaching modules on the independent curriculum. This study aims to describe the making of modules in social studies learning as an implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 6 Satu Atap Sintang in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques as data analysis techniques. Research instrumentation observation sheets, interview sheets, and documents. The subject of this research is the social studies teacher at SMP Negeri 6 Satu Atap Sintang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this study indicate that the making of teaching modules in the independent curriculum at SMP 6 Satu Atap Sintang is successful with learning outcomes that are in accordance with student needs, compiling interesting learning activities, developing modules independently, interactively, effective evaluation, accommodating student interests and needs, and additional support to students and the participation of parents to support learning at home. In this study, the writer hope that further research can correct deficiencies and can develop new research based on the results of this study.
