Abstract

One effort for saving the energy in the production process is the reuse wasted energy from these productions. This study aimed (1) to determine the effectiveness of the addition of the condensate steam collector tank collection tank on the return pipe line of the boiler on the saving capacity of the Cochran boiler, which was determined based on the boiler efficiency, the fuel consumption, and the amount of water impurity (TDS);(2). to determine the balance between the mass system and the energy boiler system as one of the effectiveness evaluation system of the additionall condensate collector tank. This research was conducted at PT. Eastern Pearl Foulr Mills, Makassar – more specifically at the boiler section and power station. The method used was that the data were collected and processed before and after the condensate collector tank was installed. Thus, it was expected that the difference showing the effect of the additional tank on the energy saving of boiler system. Besides, the research would also determine the conditions of each line point of the working fluid path; next, the efficiency of the boiler, the consumption of the fuel and the amount of the water impurity in the fluid working path would be determined; finally, the mass and the energy balance of the existing system would be determined. The research result revealed that efficiency before the installation was 52.72 % in average, and after the installation was 64.55 % in average. Before the installation of the condensate collector tank, the average fuel consumption was 94.39 kg/hour, while after the installation the average fuel consumption was 75.45 kg/hour. The reason was that the water used tended to be cleaner as seen in the lower TDS than before the installation. Then, the fuel energy of 849. 45 kW was able to produce useful steam energy of 556. 94 kW.

Abstract

Salah satu usaha untuk penghematan energi pada suatu proses produksi adalah dengan pemanfaatan kembali energi yang terbuang dari hasil produksi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tangki pengumpul kondensat pada jalur pipa pengembalian uap boiler  terhadap penghematan boiler Cochran yang ditentukan berdasarkan efisiensi boiler, konsumsi bahan bakar, dan jumlah pengotor air (TDS). Selain itu akan ditentukan kesetimbangan massa dan energi boiler sistem sebagai salah satu evaluasi efektifitas penambahan tangki pengumpul kondensat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Eastern Pearl  Foulr Mills Makassar tepatnya pada seksi boiler dan power station . Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan pengambilan dan pengolahan data sebelum pemasangan tangki pengumpul kondensat serta mengambil data sesudah pemasangan sekaligus mengolahnya. Dengan demikian diharapkan akan didapatkan perbedaan yang memperlihatkan manfaat penambahan tangki tersebut terhadap penghematan energi pada sistem boiler. Pada penelitian ini akan ditentukan kondisi setiap titik jalur fluida kerja, kemudian akan ditentukan efisiensi boiler, konsumsi bahan bakar, dan jumlah pengotor pada fluida kerjanya. Selain itu pula akan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa efisiensi sebelum pemasangan rata-rata sebesar 52,72 % dan setelah pemasangan sebesar 64,55 %. Kemudian  sebelum pemasangan tangki pengumpul kondensat konsumsi bahan bakar rata-rata sebesar 94,39 kg/jam, sedangkan setelah pemasangan sebesar 75,45 kg/jam. Hal ini di sebabkan karena air yang digunakan cenderung lebih murni terlhat dari TDS yang lebih rendah dibandingkan sebelum pemasangan. Kemudian dari 849,45 kW energi bahan bakar dapat menghasilkan energi uap yang berguna sebesar 556,94 kW.

Abstract

This research is to determine the role of educators in helping students to overcome student development problems at UPTD SMPN 6 Budong - Budong, Central Mamuju Regency. This research uses a literature study methodology, namely collecting information from various library sources, including scientific journals. The results of this research show that educators have an important role in helping students overcome problems; educators give examples, motivate, inspire and advise. Educators encourage all students to collaborate in order to increase mutual respect and respect in the classroom.

Abstract

Marketing of the agricultural products of the Lorong Anggrek Farming Women's Group, Bara-baraya Village is still limited to word of mouth, from house to house, especially within the Bara-baraya Subdistrict, even though these agricultural products have the potential to be marketed online, especially since the Lorong Anggrek Women's Farming Group is in the city center. Makassar. Therefore, the aim of this service is that digital marketing assistance for Green Economy-based products is carried out by creating special accounts for product promotions and orders, namely WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok accounts and Shopee accounts. Next, creative content is created in the form of flyers and videos which are posted on YouTube and social media as well as through the TikTok application. The method applied is providing assistance and training to members of the Lorong Anggrek Women's Farming Group regarding packaging, labeling and marketing through online media to increase sales of agricultural products to increase the added value of production in the Lorong Anggrek Women's Farming Group, Bara-baraya Village.

Abstract

This research aims to meet the needs of teachers and participants by presenting teaching materials in the form of social sciences e-modules based on local wisdom with a feasible and effective problem solving approach to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is R&D which has been developed by Borg & Gall. Initial product development validated by media experts and material experts, initial field tests assessed from the responses of 2 teachers and 16 students, initial product revisions, main product tests assessed from the responses of 2 teachers and 27 students people, revision of the main product, operational field testing by giving pretests and posttests to 32 students, revision of the final product, and dissemination in junior high schools throughout Central Mamuju Regency. This research produced a social sciences e-module product based on local wisdom with a problem solving approach which was declared feasible and effective enough to improve students' critical thinking skills. The results of the independent t-test analysis show a sig. value (2-tailed) < 0.05, so the conclusion is that there is a difference in students' critical thinking abilities between the experimental class that uses the product and the control class that does not use the product.

Abstract

Abstrak. Peredaran uang di masyarakat yang kian meningkat setiap tahunnya sehingga diperlukan sasaran moneter dalam menjaga kestabilan perekonomian melalui pengendalian jumlah uang beredar, yang secara umum memiliki keterkaitan dengan faktor lainnya meliputi suku bunga, tingkat harga, dan nilai tukar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah uang beredar di Indonesia. Metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Selain itu, data ini menggunakan data time series dari tahun 2014-2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis ECM (Error Correction Model). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang dilakukan, maka penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dalam jangka pendek variabel inflasi dan variabel suku bunga tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah uang beredar sedangkan nilai tukar berpengaruh terhadap jumlah uang beredar. Dalam jangka panjang inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah uang beredar sedangkan suku bunga dan nilai tukar dalam jangka panjang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah uang beredar.Kata Kunci: Jumlah Uang Beredar, Inflasi, Suku Bunga, Nilai Tukar

Abstract

Learning media are all types of physical equipment that aim to convey information and create interaction. Media used in learning, such as print and text media, audio media, moving images, multimedia media, and web-based or internet media. This research uses literature review research. In learning economics, optimizing digital media can help students improve their critical and creative thinking skills and increase their ability to learn. Various learning settings can be done using digital media, moving from individual to collaborative between students and students and students and teachers. Digital media in learning is very helpful for teachers and students in the learning process, it makes learning younger, makes the material easier to understand, makes the learning process more efficient, and achieves learning objectives. Teachers also act as facilitators, motivators and role models for their students, encouraging them to work harder in the classroom and utilize the ever-evolving technological media to access information sources relevant to economic learning objectives. By applying digital media in learning economics, students are able to broaden their understanding of economics that covers a wide range of contexts both theory and practice and know the relationship between events that occur in economics

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to empower housewives by providing training on how to process seaweed, which is rich in nutrients and a source of protein, into products with high economic value. Through socialization, instruction, hands-on practice, and mentorship, content is provided through the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach. The findings are that most housewives are unemployed and have a lot of free time not used for productive activities due to the lack of knowledge and skills in processing seaweed. The results of implementing this community service are an increase in knowledge and skills by 98% in processing seaweed combined with milkfish into products with economic value in the form of mini pastels, meatballs, and nuggets. Product marketing training activities: by practicing using online media, only eight people (20%) can understand how to use social media well. The rest of the participants do not have an Android cellphone, and some have cellphones but do not understand how to use social media. In addition, there are also obstacles to understanding technology, especially among older people or those less familiar with digital devices. This seaweed processing and marketing activity is expected to provide added value to seaweed commodities and provide additional income for seaweed farming families.

Abstract

This study aims to see and find out how the purchasing decisions of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University with the factors of brand ambassadors, price and product design. The type of research used is quantitative research using a survey method with instruments in the form of questionnaires and methods. This study used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with a sample of 133 respondents. The results of this study indicate that brand ambassadors have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, prices have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, product design has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, product quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, brand ambassadors have a positive and significant influence on product quality, prices have a positive and significant influence on product quality, product design has a positive and significant influence on product quality
