Abstract

This research discusses Global Management and Global Culture in the context of international business development. Through a bibliometric approach, this research evaluates related literature to understand the influence of global management and global culture on business practices and company performance. The main findings highlight publication trends that include digitalization, sustainability, diversity, and the concept of "globalization" as important elements in global management. The theoretical and practical implications of this research demonstrate the complexity of global management and its contribution to international management theory. Practical recommendations include the integration of cultural understanding in business strategy, the enhancement of intercultural competence, and the adoption of sustainable practices. Although this research provides an interesting perspective, there are limitations in the research design and methodology. Therefore, for future research, it is recommended to conduct more in-depth studies on the influence of specific cultures in business practices as well as explore unexplored areas in the literature to provide more comprehensive practical solutions in an increasingly complex global business environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of computer knowledge, learning motivation, and laboratory facilities on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material with computer self-efficacy as a moderating variable. The population in this study was class X AKL students at SMKN 1 Kemlagi for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 107 students. The sample used was 84 students selected using simple random sampling techniques. Hypothesis testing uses the F Test, T Test and MRA Test. The research results show that (1) computer knowledge has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material; (2) learning motivation does not have a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material; (3) laboratory facilities do not have a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material; (4) computer self-efficacy cannot moderate the influence of computer knowledge on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material; (5) computer self-efficacy cannot moderate the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material; (6) computer self-efficacy cannot moderate the influence of laboratory facilities on learning outcomes in spreadsheet material.

Abstract

Corporate Value is the condition or condition of a company that has been achieved during the operating process of public appreciation of the company. Increased corporate value is an achievement that reflects improved welfare for shareholders. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the influence of Intellectual Capital (VAIC), Company Size (Ln Size), Capital Structure (DER) on the Company Value projected with Price Book Value (PBV) with Profitability (ROE) as an intervening variable on mining companies listed in the BEI period 2018-2020. This research uses a type of quantitative research with sampling using purposive samplings. Based on the defined criteria obtained 34 samples of companies with a total of 102 data and data analysis using SmartPLS Software 3.2.9. The results of the research showed that intellectual capital had a significant positive impact on the company's value, the size of the company had a substantial negative impact on its value, capital structure had a non-substantial positive influence on the corporate value, profitability had an insignificant negative effect on the value of the enterprise. Results of variable mediation show that profitability cannot mediate the size of the corporate intellectual capital nor the capital structure of the company's value.

Abstract

Currently, the development of the four-point o (4.0) era is the development of digitalization to create a system that is more efficient, flexible, and connected. The progress of internet usage around the world is increasing rapidly. One of the utilizations of technological advances in sales by using social media. The purpose of this research is through social media PUSKUD Riau can build expand networks with customers and business partners. Thus, it is expected to increase sales. This research uses qualitative methods through interviews and direct observation. The data used in this research is to use primary and secondary data. The location of this research was conducted at the Riau Village Unit Cooperative Center (PUSKUD Riau) on Jalan Jendral Sudirman. Where the object of research was conducted to Mr. Dedi Sahputra as Marketing Manager and Mrs. Mitra Rahayu as marketing. Research results show that social media is a promotional event in providing information to KUD-KUD. Utilization of social media can be an advantage for business people and businesses such as PUSKUD Riau so that they are able to sell their merchandise through online in an unlimited manner with the aim of increasing turnover or profit as well as the limitations of the knowledge of researchers who are still beginners so as to have an impact on the results of research that is less thorough and obtain limited information.

Abstract

Tourism is an important sector in the Indonesian economy, especially agrotourism which combines agriculture with tourism. Keling Kumang Agrotourism is a tourist location which is the tourist destination most frequently visited by the people of Sintang. Therefore, this research the study was undertaken with the objective of. obtaining information on the influence of marketing strategies on tourist visits to Keling Kumang Agrotourism. The type of research carried out in this research is quantitative using a causal associative approach. The type of data used is primary data. The population for this research is tourists who have visited and are currently visiting Keling Kumang agrotourism. The sample was 30 tourists using an unintentional checking strategy. The information gathering the strategy was implemented via the execution of predetermined plans and tactics use of a survey using a Likert scale which was tried to investigate speculation. Information from this research was handled using SPSS 26.00. The results of the research show that marketing strategies can be categorized as good with an average classification value of 77. Visiting Decisions are categorized as fair with an average classification value of 73. There is a significant influence by marketing strategy on Visiting Decisions through an R square value of 60, 8, and significant 0.000 < 0.05. This means that there is 39.2 influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is a fundamental aspect in achieving excellent learning outcomes aligned with curriculum goals. Students' creativity is crucial for optimizing the attainment of the Merdeka Curriculum Learning Objectives Criteria. This study aims to analyze creative thinking abilities through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. The research location was selected using purposive area sampling method and conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Jember, specifically in the 10th grade of Digital Business Department for the Basic Principles of Marketing subject, focusing on the Learning Achievements of Marketing Goods and Services in the Academic Year 2023/2024. The study population comprised all 10th grade Digital Business students, with the sample selected from Digital Business 1 class. This quantitative research employed a descriptive approach with a Pre-Experimental Design of the One Shot-Case Study type. Results from creative thinking ability tests indicated that students achieved 80% (creative) in project tasks and 79% (creative) in essay tasks. Findings demonstrate that the PjBL model can effectively measure and analyze students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

The teacher's role in improving students' communication skills when learning economics in boarding-based schools has a big influence in the classroom. Teachers must know the appropriate steps to determine the success of learning through the cooperative learning model. The cooperative learning model can improve critical thinking skills, formulate arguments, and work together to solve problems. The aim of this research is to improve the communication skills of students in boarding-based schools when learning economics through a cooperative learning model. This research uses quantitative methods with experiments.  Sampling used a cluster random sampling technique. The research sample is class X SMA Al-Irsyad Tegal which is based on boarding. Researchers conducted experimental research by giving each sample the same treatment. The results of the Paired t-test in this study show that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05. This means that applying the cooperative learning model can optimize communication skills. So, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model implemented in high school based on boarding can be used as an alternative to improve communication skills

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to identify behavioral aspects of the decision to use electronic money in the Baby Boomer generation. The research involved 100 people from the baby boomer generation and filled out a questionnaire using convenience sampling as a sampling technique. Hypothesis testing uses the SEM-PLS method. The research results show that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk partially have a significant effect on interest in use. The results of the indirect influence show that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk each have a significant effect on the actual use of the Gopay mobile application which is mediated by the usage interest variable. The managerial implications of the research show how to increase the actual use of the Gopay mobile application through perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk and interest in use. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of service in the information system by tightening the user data privacy system, as well as adding features to attract user interest, namely GoPay balances become GoPay Savings by Jago in just two minutes and adding innovative features such as free transfers, transfer anywhere, pay digital service, and pay QRIS.

Abstract

Higher education is the most appropriate level of formal education to prepare generations with an entrepreneurial spirit. The entrepreneurial potential contained in students must be maximized to create new businesses that are in line with current developments. This study aims to improve the potential of digital entrepreneurs (digipreneurs) in economic education students at Jenderal Soedirman University so that they can contribute to reducing the number of unemployed and increasing economic growth through the creation of new jobs, especially in the education sector. This study used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data source used uses primary data or data obtained directly from data sources without intermediaries. The results of the study illustrate that economics education students have increased potential to become digitalpreneurs in the education sector. Apart from that, this increase in potential reflects concepts and plans to be realized and developed in accordance with current developments. The increase in digitalpreneur business potential among economic education students can be measured using the indicator such as innovativeness, proactiveness, risk taking, competitive aggressiveness, and autonomy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence between perceptions of the teaching profession and family support, both individually and as a stimulant, on the interest in becoming a teacher among all Economic Education students at FKIP Muhammadiyah University, Purworejo. The total population of 94 students was taken as a sample of 77 students. Data collection uses a questionnaire method that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis, inferential analysis, and classical assumption tests. The results of descriptive analysis show that the perception of the teaching profession is in the good category (51.94%), family support is in the good category (50.64%) and interest in becoming a teacher is in the very good category (84.41%). Based on the results of inferential analysis, it shows that perceptions of the teaching profession have a positive and significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher by 84.27% r = 0.918, t_count= 19.964, sig 0.000). The positive and significant influence between family support and interest in becoming a teacher is 81.72% (r) = 0.904, t_count= 18.156, sig 0.000. There is a positive and significant influence between perceptions of the teaching profession and simultaneous family support of 91.80% (R) = 0.958, F_(calculated) = 413.787 sig 0.000. Meanwhile, 8.20% is influenced by other variables not studied.
