Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and investigate how the global economic crisis in 2020 affected financial and economic growth after the Covid-19 crisis and the economic recovery that followed. Secondary data covering the period 2013 to 2023 was used in this research. Money supply, real interest rates, exchange rates, investment, inflation, and gross domestic product are the variables taken into account. This research examines the short-term and long-term impacts of monetary policy on financial and economic growth in five Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) countries using the Structural Vector Autoregressive (SVAR) approach. Three variables investment, reallinteresttrates, and moneyxsupplyido not significantly influence1economicxor financial growth, according to the study's findings, while two variables inflation and exchange rates have a positive impact on economic and financial growth.

Abstract

Human Resources is a determining factor in the success of an organization. Democratic leadership style can influence aspects of organizational life. Work motivation can encourage employees to do their work well. An important factor in improving performance is the work environment, where the creation of an effective work environment can increase job satisfaction within the organization. The purpose of this research is to analyze and determine the influence of democratic leadership style, work environment, and work motivation on job satisfaction at the regional secretariat of East Flores Regency. The research design used in this research uses casual research with a quantitative approach. Primary data in this research is data obtained through the results of questionnaires distributed to employees and measured using a Likert scale. The population in this study were 144 employees working in the East Flores Regency regional secretariat office with a research sample of 59 people taken using the accidental sampling technique. Data is processed and analyzed through validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis. The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence of democratic leadership style and work motivation on work satisfaction. However, work environment variables do not affect job satisfaction.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset of a company, in order to achieve the desired goals a company requires good management, especially human resources. Good human resource management is believed to be able to provide optimal performance for the company. This research aims to examine the influence of work conflict and work stress on the performance of Gen Z workers in Bandar Lampung. This type of research is quantitative research. The research was conducted on all Bandar Lampung employees with a total of 160 respondents. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire distributed to Gen Z workers with employee status in Bandar Lampung. Data processing and analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, partial tests (T), simultaneous tests (F), multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination. The research results show that partially work conflict has no significant effect on employee performance and partially work stress has a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work conflict and work stress have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This article is the result of research on the use of the internet as a medium of learning in students of universitas pgri jombang. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data source for this research was obtained from primary data sources. The results of this research include 3 categories as follows: first, use of the internet as a medium of learning in universitas pgri jombang can be mapped into three categories, namely: the use of web searching facility, the use of e-mail facilities, and the use of e-learning (spada) facilities. Secondly, in terms of infrastructure, hardware to support internet-based learning is sufficient, but the amount of bandwidth is still very far from the standard requirements. Meanwhile, in terms of human resources, still need to increase their knowledge and skills in the field of tik for teachers and students to be able to implement an optimal internet-based learning. Third, universitas pgri jombang students responded very positively to the use of the internet as a medium of learning. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the quality and capacity of using information and communication technology media to optimize student learning both online and offline.

Abstract

This research aims to find the potential and prospects for halal tourism in the city of Mataram, and what facilities support the Islamic Center destination in the city of Mataram and what the strategy of the Mataram city government is to improve the economy in the city. The type of research used by is the descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data source used is primary data obtained directly through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Islamic Center Mosque in Mataram City is considered to have great potential in improving the economy of Mataram City. As well as the prospects that can be utilized by halal tourism in the city of Mataram which are very adequate in supporting the implementation of halal tourism, namely the Islamic Center Mosque in Mataram City is considered to be one of the most attractive destinations and plays an important role in improving the regional economy of Mataram City in various aspects. Its role not only to increase the income of people who live in Mataram but also those who live out in other Regency.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that students are less active in learning, student learning outcomes are low, and students need help to answer questions asked by the teacher, which results in student scores not reaching the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This research aims to clearly understand the improvement in student learning outcomes by using contextual-based learning media in social studies subjects for class VIII at SMP Nusantara Indah Sintang for the 2023/2024 academic year, with as many as 13 students. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of PTK classroom action research. Data collection techniques and tools used in this research were observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The research results showed that the classical value for cycle I was 46.16% and cycle II 92.30%, increasing by 46.14%, while the average value for cycle I was 67.69 and the average value for cycle II was 87.69, rising to 20.00. Thus, students' mastery of the material on advantages and limitations between spaces in demand and supply has increased from medium to high. This means that the use of contextual-based learning media in integrated social sciences learning activities has been proven. Besides that, students' interest in learning shows increased results through students' attention, discipline, activeness, and responsibility in participating in learning, and students can respect their friends well.

Abstract

To achieve the stated organizational goals, it must be supported by human resources who have the necessary competencies. The success of a company depends on the performance of its workforce, therefore employee performance is very important. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work discipline, compensation and work motivation on employee performance at PT Yogyakartas Mega Graphics, Yogyakarta City. This research is quantitative research. The sampling technique uses respondents from all members of the population or census, namely 50 employees of PT Yogyakartas Mega Graphics as respondents. Data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The measuring instrument uses a Likert scale with the test equipment using validity and reliability tests, while research hypothesis testing uses the t test and coefficient of determination. According to the study's findings, performance was significantly impacted by work motivation and discipline, but performance was not much impacted by pay. The research's findings suggest that it's critical for businesses to support employee success by providing them with the work discipline, pay, and motivation they require.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low psychological problem-solving skills of students towards economics subjects in class X of SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya which are influenced by factors of academic self-efficacy, self-regulation, and critical thinking disposition. This study aims to analyze the effect of academic effectiveness on the problem-solving skills of class X students in economics subjects both directly and through self-regulation and critical thinking disposition. The approach in this study is quantitative research with a causal associative method. The population in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya with a sample of 191 students. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that had been adapted and had been tested for validity and reliability through IBM SPSS 2.0. The data analysis technique in this study used the Structural Equation Model (SEM)-Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS 3.0 software which includes model specifications, outer models and inner models. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between academic self-efficacy on students' problem-solving skills, and there is a positive and significant influence between academic self-efficacy on students' problem-solving skills through self-regulation and critical thinking dispositions.

Abstract

The evolution of contemporary market conditions has had numerous significant impacts on the cosmetics sector, particularly Indonesia. The cosmetics sector has seen economic and socio-cultural advancement, as well as changes in lifestyle, resulting in the emergence of a wide variety of beauty products. The purpose of this study is to identify the elements that influence purchase decisions for Batrisyia Herbal Beauty Products in Yogyakarta. This study employs quantitative research methods, with a population of 100 Batrisyia product users serving as the research sample. The research data is based on primary data gathered via a questionnaire. Data Quality Test employs validity and reliability tests. Data Analysis Methods Using Classical Assumption Tests and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. In this study, the F and t tests, coefficient of determination tests, and Sobel tests were used. Based on the results of the data analysis, Product quality positively and significantly influences purchasing interest; Product innovation does not significantly affect purchasing interest; Product quality positively and significantly influences purchasing decisions; Product interest positively and significantly influences purchasing decisions

Abstract

Companies prioritize CSR out of awareness of social and environmental impacts, as well as to meet societal expectations, reduce reputational risks, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. However, decisions related to CSR can be influenced by public share ownership, because public shareholders have different preferences from institutional or majority shareholders. This research aims to determine the influence of GCG practices and public share ownership on CSR disclosure. The research method used is quantitative using a survey approach. Data collection was carried out through purposive sampling, from 82 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021 and 2022, 76 companies were sampled. Multiple linear regression tests and simple linear regression tests are used as data analysis methods. Linear regression analysis shows that there is a positive and significant influence of audit committee size and ownership on all types of CSR, while the composition of public ownership has a significant negative influence. The composition of the independent board of commissioners and institutional ownership do not have a significant effect. These results indicate the need to consider GCG structure and share ownership in an effort to increase Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure.
