Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Undiksha is an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Jurusan Pendidikan Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The journal publishes different kinds of scientific articles based on the field research and program in the area of early childhood education. We received only articles relating to early childhood education fields, and can be written using quantitative or qualitative approaches. Articles can be made in a variety of research designs, such as action research, experiments, and case studies. This journal was published since 2012, and from 2016 we published articles three times a year (April, August, and December).

Abstract

Psychosocial development is a psychological and social adjustment process in line with individual’s development from infancy to adulthood, based on eight stages of human psychological and social maturity. Therefore, the psychosocial development of early childhood and the method applied to stimulate it becomes important to be investigated.  This research aims to determine the methods applied by the teacher of early childhood education programs to stimulate early childhood psychosocial development, with the formulation of the research problem as follows: (1)  the teacher’s understanding of early childhood psychosocial development stimulation; (2) the method used by the teacher to stimulate psychosocial development of early childhood; (3) the results of the method that applied to stimulate psychosocial development of early childhood. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with the early childhood teachers as the key informant and early childhood parents as the additional informant. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation to answer the research problem. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the teacher’s understanding of psychosocial development stimulation is still more inclined to the social aspects; (2) the stimulation method applied has targeted all aspects of early childhood psychosocial development; (3) the results of the stimulation method applied shown in the positive progress of both psychological and social aspects of the psychosocial development. Keywords: psychosocial development, developmental stimulation, early childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara presentasi diri dan persepsi dukungan sosial pada guru-guru PAUD Inklusi di Kota Denpasar. Pendidik dituntut untuk mampu profesional dalam mengelola kelas. Sesuai tugas tersebut, adanya dukungan sosial dan kemampuan dalam presentasi diri dalam lingkungan sosial sangatlah penting. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional yangdilaksanakan di 13 PAUD yang merupakan lembaga pendidikan awal inklusif ditetapkan oleh Dinas Pendidikan Kota Denpasar. Teknik purposive digunakan sebagai metode sampling. Ada 119 responden yang bersedia terlibat dalam penelitian, yang terdiri atas 13 kepala TK dan 106 guru kelas. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dengan statistik inferensial yaitu teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata skor presentasi diri yaitu 84,96 dan rerata skor persepsi dukungan sosial yaitu 55,78. Analisis lebih lanjut menghasilkan nilai korelasi pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan n=119 diperoleh nilai R sebesar 0,4714. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan presentasi diri dan persepsi dukungan sosial pada guru-guru PAUD Inklusi di Kota Denpasar. Kata Kunci: Presentasi Diri, Persepsi Dukungan Sosial, PAUD, Kompetensi Guru, Pendidikan Inklusi The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-presentation and perceptions of social support for Inclusion PAUD teachers in Denpasar. Educators are required to be able to be professional in managing classes. in accordance with this task, the existence of social support and self-presentation efforts in the social environment is very important. This research is a correlational study conducted in 13 PAUD which is an early inclusive educational institution determined by the Denpasar City Education Office. The purposive technique is used as a sampling method. There were 119 respondents involved in the study, consisting of 13 kindergarten heads and 106 classroom teachers. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The research data were analyzed descriptively and inferential statistics, with the product-moment estimation technique. The results showed the mean score of self-presentation was 84.96 and the mean score of perception of social support was 55.78. Further analysis at the 5% significance level and N = 119 obtained R = 0.4714. PAUD Inclusion in Denpasar City. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-presentation and perception of social support for PAUD Inclusive teachers in Denpasar.Keywords: Self-Presentation, perception of social support, early childhood education, teacher competence, inclusive education

Abstract

Professional competence and teacher pedagogy are the main elements that are always considered in improving the quality of teachers and education. In carrying out their duties and roles as instructors as well as educators, teachers need to have the ability to manage emotions and understand themselves, namely intrapersonal intelligence. Early childhood education teachers in Padalarang Regency feel less able to manage their intrapersonal intelligence, this is due to the lack of communication and collaboration between parents and schools. Resulting in teachers feeling optimal about providing learning to their students. Teachers in Padalarang Regency are of the opinion that the ability to manage intrapersonal intelligence is important to improve, in order to be able to renew or make changes for themselves and for the world of education. The ability to manage intrapersonal intelligence sometimes can not with one's own awareness, it needs input from others in order to manage intrapersonal intelligence properly. the parenting counseling program for kindergarten teachers in Padalarang regency was carried out as an effort to increase teacher intrapersonal intelligence. The results of the activities that have been achieved are the Padalarang Regency Kindergarten teacher is understanding the importance of parent involvement in the school, as a bridge to increase teacher intrapersonal intelligence.

Abstract

Pada kenyataannya perkembangan kognitif anak dalam mengenal bentuk geometri gugus VII Singaraja masih sangat rendah, dilihat dari rata-rata 51,50%. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang belum efektif, sehingga kualitas proses pembelajaran kurang optimal terutama dalam kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri. Penelitian ini tergolong quasi experiment dengan rancangan non equivalent control group desigs”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelompok B di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Singaraja pada tahun 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 286 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah TK Diponegoro Singaraja dengan jumlah 21 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan TK Weda Purana Singaraja dengan jumlah 15 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas varians, diketahui bahwa sampel berdistribusi normal dan varian populasi homogen maka untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil perhitungan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 3.140 dan ttabel =2.032 pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk= 34, dengan membandingkan hasil thitung dengan ttabel dapat disimpulkan bahwa thitung > ttabel, maka H0 ditolak H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri kelompok B di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Singaraja tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Kata Kunci : anak usia dini, mengenal bentuk geometri, inkuiri terbimbing. In fact, the cognitive development of children in recognizing geometric shapes in the Singaraja Gugus VII is still very low, seen from an average of 51.50%. This is due to the lack of use of guided inquiry learning model that has not been effective, so the quality of learning process is not optimal, especially in the ability to recognize geometry shapes. This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model on the ability to recognize geometric shapes. This research is classified as quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group design ". The population in this study is the entire group B in Kindergartens of Gugus VII Singaraja in 2017/2018 which is 286 people. The sample of this research is Diponegoro Singaraja Kindergarten with 21 people as experimental group and Vedana Tana Singaraja with 15 people as control group. The data of this research is collected using observation and documentation method. From normality test result and homogeneity of variance, it is known that samples are normally distributed and homogenous population variant, hence, to test hypothesis used t-test with 5% significant level. The result of t-test is obtained tct = 3.140 and ttable = 2.032 at 5% significant level with dk = 34, by comparing tcount result with ttable it can be concluded that tct> ttable, then H0 rejected and H1 accepted, so it can be concluded that there is significant effect to the inquiry learning model is guided towards the ability to recognize the geometry of group B in kindergartens of Gugus VII Singaraja of academic year 2017/2018.keyword : early childhood, crecognizing geometry, guided inquiry.

Abstract

Literasi sains ada bagian dari Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN) yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah yang mendorong masyarakat untuk mampu beripikir ilmiah, khususnya di lingkungan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Kemampuan beripikir ilmiah yang ditanamkan di usia dini bertujuan untuk mencetak generasi yang berkualitas dan mampu berdaya saing secara global, sehingga diperlukan guru yang memiliki kemampuan khusus dalam berpikir ilmiah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melatih guru mengenai pengetahuan literasi sains, pengetahuan konsep berpikir ilmiah, tingkatan cara berpikir ilmiah, dan implementasi literasi sains dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir ilmiah untuk Anak Usia Dini (AUD).Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diperoleh yakni semua peserta kegiatan pelatihan literasi sains sangan bersemangat, antusias dan memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dalam pelatihan, 80 % peserta memiliki peningkatan dalam perencanaan sains dilihat dari materi sains, metode, dan media yang digunakan dalam kegiatan sains, serta kualitas perencanaan dalam bentuk RPPH yang memasuki kategori cukup baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh instruksi efektif disertai pemberian token terhadap perilaku hiperaktif anak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak berinisial Y pada kelompok A di PAUD Dharma Wangsa Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Subjek penelitian ini memiliki karakteristik perilaku hiperaktif yaitu anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan tugas dengan tenang, anak gelisah ketika guru memberikan instruksi (perilaku atau penugasaan), anak berbicara tanpa makna atau tujuan serta anak berpindah-pindah tempat. Karakteristik perilaku hiperaktif ini sesuai dengan kriteria diagnostik DSM-V. Kemunculan perilaku hiperaktif pada subjek di kelas sudah bertahan lebih dari 6 bulan dan itu berdampak negatif pada aktivitas sosial dan akademiknya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kasus tunggal yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga fase yaitu fase baseline (A1), fase intervensi (B) dan fase baseline (A2). Pengumpulan data penelitian pada perilaku hiperaktif anak menggunakan metode observasi dengan lembar observasi dengan pencatatan model turus. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan penyajian data dipaparkan secara visual (visual inspection). Hasil analisis data menunjukkkan bahwa terjadi penurunan frekuensi perilaku hiperaktif subjek dari fase baseline (A1) dengan rerata 44,5 yang memiliki kecenderungan memburuk sebesar 7,5 poin dan rerata menjadi 18,8 pada fase intervensi (B) dengan kecenderungan membaik sebesar 19 poin. Kembali meningkat ketika penerapan instruksi efektif disertai pemberian token dihentikan (A2) dengan rerata 22 yang memiliki kencenderungan memburuk sebesar 20,5 poin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa instruksi efektif disertai pemberian token berpengaruh terhadap penurunan perilaku hiperaktif anak.Kata Kunci : Hiperaktif, instruksi efektif, pemberian token This study aims to determine of influence of effective instruction along with giving token to hyperactive behavior of children. Subject in this study is a child initials Y from A group of Dharma Wangsa Kindergarten Denpasar of academic year 2017/2018. Subject in this study has the characteristics of hyperactive behavior that is having difficulty in doing the task quietly, the child is restless when the teacher gives instructions (behavior or assignment), speaks without meaning or purpose and the child is to move around. The characteristics of hyperactive behavior are appropriate diagnostic criteria DSM-V. Hyperactive behavior of children appearing in the classroom has lasted more than 6 months and it has a direct negative impact on social and academic activities. This research is a single case experiment was implemented in three phases which are the baseline phase (A1), the intervention phase (B) and baseline phase (A2). Data collection of data research about hyperactive behavior of children using observation method with record of turus model. The data of the research were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and presentation of data presented visually (visual inspection). The results of data analysis showed a decrease in the frequency of hyperactive behaviors subject from the baseline phase (A1) with the mean of 44.5 worsen tendency equal to 7,5 point and average to 18,8 in the intervention phase (B) with tendency to improve by 19 points. Again increased when the implementation of effective instructions with tokens, stopped (A2) with the mean of 22 has a worsen tendency equal to 20,5 point. Based on these results it can be concluded that effective instruction with token giving effect the decline in hyperactive behavior of children.keyword : Hyperactive, effective instruction, token giving

Abstract

The problem in this research is the rising amount of conflict in society caused by a difference in people?s perspectives. Multicultural education is needed to foster tolerance for early childhood. The purpose of this study is to determine the internalization of multicultural education values in early childhood. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at PAUD Insan Kamil Dharma Wanita IAIN Surakarta from December 2019 to April 2020. The research subjects were teachers and class B, while the informants were the headmasters and the teacher of class A. The data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is tested using source and method triangulation. The collected data then analyzed by the stages of data reduction, presentation, and concluding. The result showed that internalization was carried out through three stages. There are a transformation of values, transaction value, and trans-internalization using lecturing method, giving a question-answer method, and demonstration methods. The teacher carries out the internalization process by introducing culture, forms of multicultural education learning activities carried out through the introduction of languages (Arabic, English, and Javanese), culture (traditional clothing), arts (regional dances), field trips (visiting museums) and traditional games. Keywords: Internalization, Multicultural Education, Early Childhood

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the significant differences in creative thinking abilities between groups that were given an outbound training method and the groups that were given an expository learning in children of group B in Gugus I Kecamatan Sawan in academic year 2019/2020. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of this study were all children of Group B in Gugus I Kecamatan Sawan with a total of 208 children. The sampling technique used in this study was a random sampling technique. The sample in this study were the children of group B in TK Widya Sesana Desa Sangsit consisted of 26 children as an experimental group who were given learning by using an outbound training method. Meanwhile, the children of B group in TK Tujuh Belas Agustus Desa Bungkulan consisted of 25 children were as a control group who were given learning by using an expository learning strategy.The data on children's creative thinking abilities were collected by observation and interview techniques which were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics, namely t-test. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the tcount is 27.19 and ttable with a significance level of 5% and dk = 49 is 2.01. The results indicated that tcount>ttable, the average post-test result of the experimental group is 50.65 and the average post-test result of the control group is 42.56, meaning that the average results of the experimental group> the average results of the control group. The results showed that there are significant differences in creative thinking abilities between groups that were given an outbound learning method and the groups that were given expository learning in children of group B in Gugus I Kecamatan Sawan in academic year 2019/2020. Keywords: creative thinking abilities, outbound training, early childhood children

Abstract

     This study aims to determine the effect of the results of fine motor skills of the group of children who were taught using collage techniques. This study is a quasi-experimental study using post-test non-equivalent design only village group control. A total of 18 children from the B3 Kindergarten group Dharma Suda Singaraja were included as the experimental group and 15 children in the B1 group of Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal were included as a control group. The methods and instruments of data collection used the instrument observation method, observation sheet (check list), then the collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and t-test infirential statistics obtained by tcount = 3.15 and ttable = 2.04 at a significance level of 5% with db = 31, by comparing the results of tcount with ttable where tcount> ttable then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that the results of this study find that there is an influence on fine motor abilities of groups of children who are taught collage techniques in Group B children in Cluster VI of Buleleng Subdistrict 2018 / 2019. Thus the collage technique affects the fine motoric abilities of children in group B in Kindergarten Cluster VI of Buleleng Subdistrict.

Abstract

Meningkatnya perubahan demografis pada masyarakat akhir-akhir ini akan semakin meningkatkan keberagaman di dalam masyarakat. Untuk itu, diperlukan peran kaum muda intelektual yang di wakili oleh mahasiswa untuk dapat memberikan sumbangsih perspektif nilai pendidikan multicultural untuk anak sejak dini agar dapat mencegah terancamnya keharmonisan hidup bermasyarakat di kemudian hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perspektif mahasiswa dalam menumbuhkan nilai pendidikan multicultural untuk anak usia dini yang mencakup perbedaan agama, etnis, sosialekonomi dan gender. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Subjek diambil dengan purposive sampling sejumlah 20 orang mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menumbuhkan nilai pendidikan multicultural dalam perbedaan agama, etnis, sosialekonomi dan gender dapat dilakukan dengan (1) bertukar nilai positif antar pemeluk agama, (2) dengan mengikuti kegiatan etnis yang berbeda, (3) melibatkan anak dengan kegiatan social dilingkungannya, (4) melalui buku cerita dan lewat kegiatan menonton film yang berisi muatan nilai kesetaraan gender. Singkatnya, penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa perspektif mahasiswa dalam menumbuhkan nilai pendidikan multicultural untuk anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan interaksi dan melibatkan anak dengan kegiatan yang ada di sekeliling mereka sehingga anak akan dapat menumbuhkan nilai pendidikan multicultural di hati dan perilakunya.
