Abstract

Background: COVID-19 is an acute respiratory infection caused by the Coronavirus, known as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). The emergence of COVID-19 has affected the health conditions of all countries, especially Indonesia. Efforts to prevent and control the spread of cases include conducting epidemiological investigations. Indonesia uses community health centres as primary health services to prevent transmission through surveillance systems such as epidemiological investigations. This research describes the epidemiological of COVID-19 in the Pandeyan region of Umbulharjo Yogyakarta City from June to August 2021. Objective: This study aims to describe the epidemiology of COVID-19 cases in the Pandeyan, Umbulharjo Yogyakarta City from June to August 2021. Method: This was quantitative descriptive research using secondary data from epidemiology investigation. The population in this study was all people who were the target of Epidemiology Investigation in Pandeyan, Umbulharjo, in June-August 2021, namely 477 perople. The sample was taken by total sampling. The instrument used was the Epidemiological Investigation Form (PE) result. Results: The most cases of COVID-19 were women, namely 271 (56.81%), with the most extensive age range being 26-35 years, namely 94 cases. The most cases of COVID-19 were found in RW 6, Pandenyan (107 cases). In July 2021, 260 cases were reported; the highest cases were on June 30, 2021. Conclusion: COVID-19 cases are often found in RW 6, Pandeyan, Umbulharjo. In July 2021, as many as 260 cases were reported, and a spike in daily cases was observed on June 30, 2021.

Abstract

Occupational stress is a global issue that is influenced by occupational, individual, organizational and psychosocial factors. Excessive workload and pressure can trigger occupational stress. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the factors associated with work stress in tappers workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk in Tamatto Village, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional study design. Data analysis used is univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The number of samples in this study were 200 workers obtained using accidental sampling technique. Factors that affect job stress in tappers are organizational factors, namely, temperature physical environment, career development and workload. The results showed that there was a significant relationship, namely the physical environment of temperature (p-value = 0.002), career development (p-value = 0.000) and workload (p-value = 0.000) to work stress on tappers workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk while other variables showed an insignificant relationship between age (p-value = 0, 618), married status (p-value=0.614), last education (p-value=0.573), length of service (p-value=0.982) to work stress on tappers workers at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk in Tamatto Village, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

The attitude of students who throw their rubbish carelessly and students' perceptions regarding the sanitation of their environment, the lack of providing rubbish bins in classrooms and the school environment, and the lack of hand washing places with running water and soap.  The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between students' perceptions and attitudes towards environmental sanitation at SD Negeri 2 Katobengke, Baubau City.  This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional design.  The sample in this study was 120 students consisting of 41 elementary school students in class IV, 33 students in class V, and 46 class VI students.  Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test at a confidence level of 95% or α = 0.05.  The results of this research show that there is a relationship between students' perceptions of environmental sanitation with a significant value of p value = 0.001 <α = 0.05 and there is a relationship with students' attitudes towards environmental sanitation with a significant value of p value = 0.000 <α = 0.05.  In this research, there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions and attitudes towards environmental sanitation at SD Negeri 2 Katobengke, Baubau City.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS is an infectious disease that is still a global health problem today. Efforts to prevent high transmission are by taking antiretroviral medication (ARV) to weaken the virus and improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Therefore, the level of adherence to taking ARV medication is important for PLWHA patients. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that influence adherence to ARV medication in PLWHA patients at the Waena Health Center, Jayapura City. The type of research used is observational analytical designcross sectional study. The population of PLWHA patients taking ARV medication was 82 people with sample collection using a saturated sampling technique. Data was obtained using a questionnaire and data analysis was carried out usingchi square test. The research results showed that the majority of PLWHA patients were aged 25-35 years, 41 people (50.0%), 46 people (56.1%), with the highest marital status, namely unmarried, 70 people (85, 4%), 59 people (72%) had higher education and 53 people (64.6%) worked. There were 46 patients (56.1%) who were compliant with taking ARV medication and 36 people (43.9%) were non-compliant. There was an influence of length of treatment (ρ-value = 0.006 < 0.05; RP = 2.161; CI95% (1.42-3.3), knowledge (ρ-value = 0.035 < 0.05; RP = 1.789; CI95% (1.09-2.94), and attitude (ρ-value = 0.013 < 0.05; RP = 1.953; CI95% (1.202-3.172) with adherence to taking ARV medication in PLWHA patients at the Waena Health Center, Jayapura City. In addition, it is known There was no influence of family support for PLWHA patients on adherence to ARV medication in PLWHA patients at the Waena Community Health Center, Jayapura City (ρ-value = 0.930 > 0.05; RP = 0.930; CI95% (0.561-1.56).

Abstract

Hypertension is a serious health problem that can affect the productivity and welfare of workers in various sectors, including the construction industry. Hypertension experienced by construction workers is caused by smoking habits, excessive coffee consumption and a family history of hypertension. This study aims to determine the effect of poster media education about hypertension on the knowledge of contractor workers in the East Telukjambe Health Center work area. This research uses quantitative methods in the form of analytical research with a cross-sectional study design with a sample size of 30 people using random sampling techniques. Hypertension data collection uses a blood pressure monitor and data collection instruments for age, weight, height, income, blood pressure, smoking habits, coffee consumption. As a result of the research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the influence of providing educational media about hypertension on the knowledge of contractor workers in the East Telukjambe Community Health Center work area as evidenced by the results of statistical tests using the chi square test, which shows a p-value of 0.00 < 0.05, which means there is an influence between providing education using posters with knowledge related to hypertension.

Abstract

Physical demands, environmental and social situations that cannot be controlled can cause stress, stress the third and fourth years, can be caused by the many responsibilities that must be completed. Third and fourth year students could have vary stress levels, the objective of this study was to determine stress level on students in semester 6 and 8 of the FIKES, UIKA Bogor. Sample size was 33 female college students in 6th and 8th semester, obtained with consecutive sampling. The research method used descriptive analytic study design. Data on stress level were obtained by filling out stress part in DASS-21 questionnaire through google form in June-July 2023, and univariate analysis was used for the data. The results showed that more than half subject (55%) had normal stress level, meanwhile mild and moderate stress level were 15% each. Severe (9%) and extremely severe (6%) stress level were also founded in this research. Most of the stress levels in final years students at FIKES UIKA Bogor were normal, but treatment is needed for subjects who have severe and extremely severe stress. Screening for stress from faculty can be held to prevent severe stress and college students need to know about stress management. Future research can involve more samples regarding stress factors and stress education intervention in semesters 6th and 8th girl college student.

Abstract

Background: Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020, the incidence of dysmenorrhoea was 1769,425 (90%) women suffering from dysmenorrhoea, with 10-16% suffering from severe dysmenorrhoea. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in the world is very high. On average, more than 50% of women suffer from it (Herawati, 2021). Dysmenorrhea is one of the many gynecological problems, which affects most women and if left untreated causes the inability to carry out activities every month. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of acupressure therapy on dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls at Karya Bangsa Vocational School, Tangerang City. Research Method: This research is a pre-experimental quantitative research which aims to determine the effect of acupressure therapy at the switch point on dysmenorrhea pain in teenage female students at Karya Bangsa Vocational School, Tangerang City. The sample size used in this research was based on the type of experimental research. In this research, the sample size used was 38 respondents. This research uses a formula according to (Arikunto, 2014) Research Results: Based on the results of the Wilcoxone Signed Ranks Test statistical test on pain levels, significant results were obtained, p value = 0.000 < 0.05. The results of this analysis show that acupressure therapy has an effect on reducing the dysmenorrhea pain scale. Conclusions and Suggestions: There is an effect of providing acupressure therapy on dysmenorrhea in young women at Karya Bangsa Vocational School, Tangerang City. It is hoped that it can develop seminar and training programs on non-pharmacological therapy, especially acupressure for nurses or other health workers.

Abstract

Background Anxiety is a mood or experience characterized by worry, unpleasant feelings and physical tension. Anxiety and worry in pregnant women, if not treated seriously, will have physical and psychological impacts, both on the mother and the fetus. Of course, non-pharmacological treatment is also needed, one of which is murotal therapy. The therapeutic effect of reading the Qur'an as a medicine for physical and spiritual illnesses, stimulating the holy verses of the Qur'an for mothers can reduce anxiety. Research purposes . The aim of this research was to determine the effect of Ar-rahman letter murotal therapy on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester in the UPTD working area of the Cirinten Health Center, Lebak Regency. Research method This research was carried out using a quantitative approach with an experimental design, namely a quasi experimental design . The research design used was one group pre and post test without control group design ,   The sample for this research was 23 people. Research result Research result through shows that the average value of anxiety for pregnant women in the third trimester before being given Murotal Surah Ar-Rahman therapy is 47.435, the minimum value is 33.0, the maximum value is 64.0 and the standard deviation is 9.370 , while the average value of anxiety for pregnant women in the third trimester after being given therapy Murotal Surah Ar-Rahman is 44,000 minimum value 30.0, maximum value 59.0 and standard deviation 8.586. Through the Wilcoxon test , the effect of providing surah Ar-Rahman murotal therapy on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester at the UPTD of the Cirinten Health Center, Lebak Regency in 2023 (P value = 0.000). Conclusions and recommendations .  It is hoped that the results of this research can motivate health workers to use or combine pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies and can be used as a form of intervention in providing comprehensive midwifery services.

Abstract

Background : Teenagers are individuals with an age range of 10-19 years. The adolescents are going through a transition period from childhood to adulthood. Knowledge about hygiene during menstruation among adolescents tends to be inadequate. Some adolescents know the good and correct way for personal hygiene during menstruation, when to change pads, and how to wash pads. Behavior that lacks hygiene during menstruation will have a negative impact and cause the spread of fungal and bacterial infections.Objective : To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude with vulva hygiene behavior during menstruation in female adolescents at SMPN 14 South Tangerang City. Methods : The research conducted was quantitative research using an analytic design. This study used a cross sectional method. Total sample needed for this research is 35 people. Results : Of 35 respondents who had good knowledge, the majority had good vulvar hygiene behavior during menstruation, which is 29 respondents (96.7%) while 5 respondents who had poor knowledge mostly had poor vulvar hygiene behavior during menstruation, which is 3 respondents (3.3%). The chi square statistical test results showed a correlation between young women's knowledge and attitudes and their implementation of vulva hygiene. Conclusions and Suggestions: The behavior of adolescent girls during menstruation obtained the results that all adolescent girls at SMPN 14 South Tangerang City have a good behavior category, namely 31 students (88.6%) while adolescent girls who have sufficient behavior are 4 students (11.4%).  This research is expected to be a means of information and learning for students to increase understanding of vulva hygiene.

Abstract

Background: Childbirth is a physiological process, where the products of conception (fetus and placenta) are expelled which can live outside the womb, starting with uterine contractions, effacement and opening of the cervix, birth of the baby and placenta through the birth canal or through another route (abdomen), with or without assistance. help. When dealing with a mother in labor, medical personnel are needed who can embrace the mother during the birthing period, so having loving maternal care is important in dealing with a mother in labor. Purpose of writing: To find out how the implementation of maternal care is related to the duration of the first and second stages of labor at the Cibadak Community Health Center. Research methods: The research used is analytical with a cross sectional approach, the research sample is 40 respondents, then testing will be carried out using paired tests and independent sample T tests. Research Results: The results of this research show There is a relationship between the implementation of maternal care and the length of labor in the first and second stages of labor at the Cibadak Community Health Center with a p value of 0.00 0<0.005. Conclusions and Suggestions: The application of loving maternal care to the length of the first and second stages of labor for those who apply and those who do not apply it have different average values because those who apply maternal loving care well will have a faster duration of first and second stages of labor.
