Abstract

PT. Eastern Pearl Flour Mills – City Side Makassar affects land use changes that have an impact on changes in traffic movement, so traffic impacts analysis is needed. The purpose of this study is to identify the performance of affected roads and intersections in the present and in the next 5 years, to handle traffic problems and conflicts by simulating models without handling (Do Nothing) and with handling (Do Something), analyzing time delays on the U-turns and modeling the origin-destination matrix using the Furness Method. This study uses qualitative and quantitative analysis methods that refer to the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997) and The Furness method. The results of the analysis of the level of service on the Jl. The archipelago is in fairly good condition with LoS values A to B and DS 0.11 – 0.40 with a speed of 26.60 – 50.00 km/hour, the road performance that has the worst impact occurs at the Tol Reformasi – Jl. Nusantara with a projection for the next 5 years in 2027, where road performance has a LoS E and DS value of 0.88 with a delay time of 19 seconds/pcu. U-turn facility on Jl. Nusantara has an average delay time of 6.16 – 7.82 seconds for one rotating vehicle with a value of < 1 so that there is no queue. The results of the trip distribution analysis using The Furness model obtained the same value of generation and attraction in the second iteration, which means that it is still close to ideal conditions.

Abstract

Hotel fires can occur at any time without knowing the season for which the hotel building must have a fire extinguishing system that can guarantee the safety of guests, the purpose of this study is to find out the equipment used in the hotel building fire extinguishing system, to assess the completeness of facilities and infrastructure of the hotel building fire protection system, know the precautions against hotel fires in an effort to guarantee the safety and security of guests in hotel. The research methods used in this study are library study methods, interview methods, observation methods, documentation methods. Assessment of the completeness and reliability of building fire protection systems against fire hazards is used the parameters of tread completeness, means of rectification, active and passive protection systems. In data collection, it was carried out on the object of the study, namely at the Sahid Jaya Solo Hotel. The results of the discussion in this study, the equipment in the research object is complete and functions well and the results of the assessment of the reliability of the fire protection system obtained results of 90.63 which means that the reliability of the building is very good. From these results, it can be used as a consideration for the hotel in improving the right fire extinguishing system in an effort to guarantee the safety and security of guests.

Abstract

Oriented areas are often known as Transit Oriented Development (TOD) requiring financing, which is absolutely necessaryto accommodate developing activities and encouraging regional growth and land use plans in accordance with TOD regulations,Bubulak Terminal is one of the terminals in Bogor City because has a variety of economic activities be it bus companies (PO), public transport, trade and services. This study plans land use in accordance with PermenATR/KaBPN No. 16 of 2017 concerning TOD Development Guidelines and using a financing scheme for the Bubulak Terminal Area using analysis calculations with the Financial and Economic Calculation Methods, the results of these calculations that are in accordance with data from internet literature studies of scientific papers and books. The results of the analysis of the TOD area of Bubulak Terminal with a mix use designation of 1606 pcu/hour. The results of the calculation of the Financial Calculation value of NPV (Net Present Value) are RP 38.144.000.000,00 and the results of the IRR calculation for the Bubulak Terminal area show an IRR value of 14.92 %, so the project is feasible to run/choose with a capital cost (WACC) of 11.56%. While the calculation result of the Economic Net Present Value (ENPV), the calculation result is RP 325.848.272.000,00 and the result of the Economic internal rate of return (EIRR) is 31.19%, the project will benefit and is feasible to run with revenue in 2023 Stakeholders involved in the TOD area at Bubulak Terminal, namely BPTJ as the regulator as well as the Responsible Agency for Cooperation Projects (PJPK) in developing TOD in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

The concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) at the Light Rail Transit (LRT) station in Palembang City in terms of Environmental Aspects. This study discussed the city of Palembang which already has several transit-based transportation such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) as a solution to overcome existing congestion. The several areas that still have congestion points and have not been able to be minimized, namely; (1) Bumi Sriwijaya, (2) Cinde Market, (3) 16 Ilir Market, and (4) Jakabaring. At this location, there were several problem phenomena that are still faced in the implementation of the existing TOD where the community does not use an integrated transportation system, This research used Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) method. This research was the preparation of evaluation and analysis of the determination of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area in the city of Palembang in terms of environmental aspects based on the AHP decision-making method. The research locations reviewed in this study are densely populated areas. In this study using a quantitative research approach. A quantitative approach used to analyze the determination of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area in Palembang City in terms of environmental aspects using AHP decision-making analysis techniques in compiling research discussions. The potential as location of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area in Palembang City was the Pasar 16 Ilir area (location 3). This area had the highest potential from other areas after the AHP data processing was carried out against the three main criteria for determining the TOD area.

Abstract

The problem of clean water supply to meet the needs of the community is the main obstacle experienced by residents of Bumi Purnawira housing. Water management is completely left to the residents starting from installation of pipes to each house, installation of water meters, calculation of the cost of water usage per cubic meter, as well as administration and maintenance of the artesian well. Some problem that arise include: frequent miscalculation of cost to be paid; monthly meter recapitulation records in the form of paper prone to damage and data lost; meter recapitulation records is only kept by the treasurer, so if the residents want to know the history of meter records and the payment, they have to see the treasurer; the meter's monthly status is vulnerable to manipulation whether done by the residents or the treasurer; There is often a discrepancy between the financial recapitulation recorded and the physical cash; and financial expenditures are sometimes not properly recorded, so that it triggers the discrepancy between the recorded amount and the physical cash. Seeing the existing reality, an idea to make an application for the management of artesian well administration has arisen. The initial step is to form two teams, namely the development team and the socialization team. The development team is responsible for developing the management system of the artesian well's administration and finance. Meanwhile, the socialization team is responsible for conducting the socialization and the application training. The result of this project is an application and socialization that can help both the administrators and the residents in managing the administration and finance of the artesian well.

Abstract

A computer programming requires inputs and processes to produce output, good data processing requires a formula, in programming when using tables is very inefficient, so an approach is needed in this case the existing table tables are converted into formulas, making it easier to process programming. Mix Design for normal concrete, in general, always use tables that have SNI (ACI), the tables are modified with Polynomial Regression to be equations, tables in SNI (ACI) that are transformed into equations. The equation produced, using polynomial regression, with a value of R² ≈ 1. The equation to find weight of mixing water (Ww) = y1j, y2j, with main variable aggregate maximum, additional variables are slump, the second equation is volume air content (VAC) = y3i, additional variables are exposures, water cement ratio (WCR) = y4i, with aggregate maximum variables, while additional variables are air requirements in concrete (non-air entrained/air entrained),weight of coarse aggregate (WCA) = y5i, with two variables aggregate maximum and FM (Finest Modulus), and initial estimates of fresh concrete weight (WFC) = y6i

Abstract

The growth of housing in Indonesia has been very significant in recent years.   The most found type of house is type 36. One of the areas with high purchasing power for housing is the Kendal Regency, which became the object of this study. Often housing projects experience delays caused by internal and external factors that can interfere with the duration of the initial planning. The effort that can be made to maintain the level of progress of the project is by acceleration. The optimal cost of the project due to the reduction in duration can be completed by acceleration techniques (Crashing) as linear programming models.   In this study, Crashing and Linear Programming methods were chosen to optimize the value of adding costs to accelerate three samples of housing. Housing A, Housing B, and Housing C. The data collected is in the form of RAB, scheduling, and other supporting documents. Linear programming in this study using LINDO software. The plan to accelerate the construction of type 36 housing is carried out using alternative overtime working hours, adding 1, 2 and 4 working hours on critical activities of each project. The optimum time is selected based on the smallest cost slope value from the program crashing calculation. The result is shown that in housing A the most optimal addition was 2 hours of overtime with a total extra cost of Rp.   54,643,600 and a total acceleration of 15 days. In housing B, the optimum value of time and cost is by adding 4 hours of overtime with a total additional cost of Rp.   21,644,140 with a 27-day acceleration. In housing C, the development optimizes by adding 4 hours of overtime at an additional cost of Rp.   74,587,900 with a 29-day acceleration.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 2 Manokwari West Papua Province is one of the vocational high schools that foster 12 competencies in the field of Technology and Engineering with 1,567 people active in 2022. To support daily activities at school, the availability of clean water in the school environment is necessary for washing hands, defecating, and urinating. The availability of clean water is at least balanced with the need for clean water, this is intended to ensure that school needs are fulfilled. This study aims to analyze the need for clean water and clean water quality by quality standards. Clean water needs are analyzed using a mathematical approach based on clean water planning criteria, while the clean water quality analysis is carried out by testing clean water samples through the Manokwari City BPOM laboratory. The results showed that the need for clean water in schools was 17,280 liters/day. Water distribution to bathrooms/toilets, sinks, and public face, uses a piping network sourced from 2 reservoirs with a capacity of 40,400 liters. The source of raw water used is groundwater and pumping systems. For the analysis of clean water quality, the data shows that the temperature parameter = 0.05 oC, pH = 7.88, TDS = 0.3060 mg/L, and coliform number = 27.09 x 10^1 CFU/100 mL, so that the water quality microbiologically does not meet the requirements for sanitary hygiene. While the results of the study showed that the need for clean water in SMK Negeri 2 Manokwari until 2032 reached 33,276 L/day (47.21%). The results of this study are expected to be useful for the development of science for academics in universities, government and society. E, especially for students at SMK Negeri 2 Manokwari, hopefully, it will be interesting reading material in the school library.

Abstract

Link beam and sliding plates is used to isolate structure against lateral base shear of the foundation due to earthquake forces, the link beam element made from steel wide flange act as a metallic damper, combined with sliding plates become as base isolation. Analysis with the Etabs program results in significant differences in internal moment, shear and axial forces between structures that using link beam base isolation and those without, as well as the results for drift and deformation of the structure. The first step of analysis is estimate the dimensions of the structural elements. Base on the loads of the structure, the lateral base force of the structure can be calculated manually, so that, by applying the dynamic balance equation, the size of steel wide flange that will be used as the link beam. can be found. Furthermore, the analysis of internal forces, deformation, and structural drifts are calculated using the Etabs program for structural systems that with or without base isolation. The both results are compared so that it can be concluded that by using the base isolation link beam there is a significant decrease in the magnitude of the internal forces, drift and displacement, so that by using this base isolation, the elements of the structure will be reduced significantly, and the cost of structure can be saved, the safety and comfort of the building can be further improved too.

Abstract

Air fresheners or AC (Air Conditioning) systems are increasingly becoming a necessity for urban communities and the industrial world in Jakarta. AC functions to cool industrial rooms, offices and homes. The PT CI Electronic Industry Building, has not yet installed an air conditioning system so that the production room is not comfortable for its employees. The purpose of installing air conditioning in the industrial building is to increase employee comfort and productivity. In installing an air conditioning (AC) system in the industrial building, design data and cooling load analysis are required. Therefore it is necessary to study the design of industrial air conditioners at PT CI by calculating the cooling load, calculating the required electrical power in order to determine the size and type of air conditioner needed. The research methodology starts from determining industrial building data, such as what tools and machines are in the room, the area of the room and the room wall materials, then analyzing the cooling load, determining the power of the cooling machine and determining the cooling system used. From the results of the cooling load analysis in the Electronics Industry building at PT CI, the total load on floors 1 and 2 was 709 kW, or 201,6 TR, including sensible load: 705.83 kW and Latin load: 3.03 kW. The refrigerant used by the AC R 134a engine. The compressor power is 356 HP. Medium large COP 2.8. The cooling system chosen is the central air conditioning system.
