Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face challenges in understanding branding concepts and utilizing live streaming as a digital marketing strategy. Limited digital literacy and technical readiness reduce the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital marketplace. This community service project aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of creative branding training and live streaming strategies in enhancing MSMEs’ knowledge and skills in digital marketing, using a descriptive qualitative approach through a participatory case study design. The subjects included 50 MSME actors. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and pre- and post-training evaluation questionnaires. The questionnaires were developed based on a competency evaluation framework encompassing branding knowledge, understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media skills, technical and non-technical readiness for live streaming, and self-confidence levels. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis for qualitative data and descriptive quantitative analysis for survey data. The results indicate that the training significantly improved participants’ understanding of branding, ability to design marketing strategies based on the 7P framework, and practical live streaming skills. Live streaming simulations, in particular, enhanced participants’ confidence in engaging with digital audiences. The study concludes that creative branding and live streaming training effectively increase MSMEs’ readiness to independently implement digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

The high number of Tuberculosis (TB) cases in Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, indicates the low effectiveness of community health education. Furthermore, low public health literacy and communication practices lacking socio-cultural relevance, particularly in remote areas with complex cultural diversity, are contributing to the high number of TB cases. One cause is the lack of local context-based media in the delivery of information. This Community Service aims to analyze the effectiveness of training in creating locally context-based printed and digital educational media to improve the knowledge and skills of TB program managers. The type of activity used was participatory training with an andragogical approach, involving 25 TB program managers in Manggarai Regency. Data were collected through a pretest and posttest using a knowledge questionnaire and a skills observation sheet and analyzed descriptively. The results showed an 85% increase in participants' knowledge and a 72% increase in their ability to use simple applications to create educational media. This activity proved effective in increasing the capacity of TB program managers in developing locally context-based educational media. The implication is that similar training can be replicated in other regions to strengthen local culture-based health communication strategies.

Abstract

Rendahnya sinkronisasi empat dimensi Pendidikan karakter yang meliputi olah pikir, olah rasa, olah hati, dan olah raga pada peserta didik menjadi perhatian khusus pada kelompok kerja guru olahraga (KKGO) kecamatan Buleleng-Bali. Implementasi permainan otak dan otot (O2) menjadi salah satu alternatif solusi dalam penguatkan pendidikan karakter (PPK) menuju gerakan literasi sekolah (GLS). Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu menganalisis penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui metode permainan otak dan otot (O2) menuju gerakan literasi sekolah. Metode permainan O2 dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan keberlanjutan program. Pada akhir kegiatan diadakan evaluasi akhir. Evaluasi ini diukur berdasarkan aktivitas seluruh anggota KKGO SD dalam mengimplementasikan metode permainan O2 dengan 6 permainan yang meliputi permainan lari pendek, permainan ganting siku tekuk, permainan baring duduk, permainan loncat tegak, permainan lari panjang, dan permainan literasi. Hasil dari PMP ini menjadikan guru PJOK SD mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran PPK dan GLS melalui metode permainan O2. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil dengan capaian 100% peserta hadir selama kegiatan, aktif dalam FGD, memberikan refleksi metode pembelajaran, dan mampu mengimplementasikan metode permainan O2.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out due to the increasing number of orphans, underprivileged children, and dropouts among teenagers. This activity aims to empower the community in sports and health while opening alternative economic opportunities for socio-economically vulnerable groups, through the Competitive Community Service for Beginners program from the Ministry of Religion. The activity was carried out through lectures, demonstrations, question-and-answer sessions, and direct practice. At the end of the activity, a final evaluation was held. This evaluation was based on all participants' activities during the training. 8 participants attended the training. The results of this training made children able to improve their sports massage technique skills, which include Effleurage (rubbing movements), Petrissage (massage movements), Friction (grinding movements), Shaking (shaking movements), Tapotement (hitting movements), Vibration (vibrating movements), and Stroking (massage movements). This community service activity was successful, with 100% of participants attending and practicing all techniques. The sports massage implementers collaborate with the Village Government and the Manpower Office (Disnaker) to facilitate the sustainability of sports massage skills in the world of work. The implications of this sports massage training can develop the skills of orphans and school dropouts, enabling them to compete in the world of work.

Abstract

Rapid social change has posed significant challenges to families' psychosocial resilience, particularly for homemakers, the household's main pillar. Weak stress management and family communication skills are priority issues. This community service activity aims to strengthen family psychosocial resilience by empowering homemakers with a community-based, participatory approach. The program was implemented at two locations in Greater Malang, involving 80 homemakers purposively selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The intervention was carried out through two main meetings: interactive counseling and field training on stress management techniques, assertive communication, the formation of mutual support groups, and the development of family-based follow-up plans. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-test questionnaires, observations, and semi-structured interviews. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills related to stress management and family communication. This activity demonstrated the effectiveness of the community approach in sustainably improving homemakers' psychosocial capacity. Consequently, this intervention model can be replicated in similar empowerment programs at the local and national levels to strengthen family resilience amidst evolving social dynamics.

Abstract

Minimnya dukungan spiritual bagi siswa Katolik di sekolah negeri yang mayoritas siswanya beragama non-Katolik menunjukkan kebutuhan mendesak akan pendekatan pembinaan iman yang inklusif dan kontekstual. Tujuan Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini merancang dan menerapkan model pendampingan pastoral yang partisipatif-reflektif guna menguatkan dan mentransformasi pertumbuhan spiritual siswa Katolik. Sebanyak 70 siswa dari 14 sekolah negeri jenjang SMA dan SMK terlibat dalam kegiatan pendampingan langsung, refleksi terpandu, dialog iman kontekstual, dan aktivitas liturgis. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, jurnal refleksi siswa, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur, lalu dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif menggunakan triangulasi metode. Hasil menunjukkan adanya transformasi signifikan dalam pemahaman iman, peningkatan partisipasi rohani, serta terbentuknya komunitas kecil berbasis iman. Model ini terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat spiritualitas siswa Katolik di lingkungan sekolah multikultural, serta merekomendasikan replikasi strategis sebagai kontribusi terhadap pendidikan karakter dan spiritualitas lintas iman di sekolah negeri. Implikasi dari tema ini sangat penting bagi pengembangan praktik pendidikan spiritual di sekolah negeri di Indonesia. Keberadaan siswa dari latar belakang agama minoritas, seperti Katolik, perlu dijadikan pijakan untuk merancang strategi pendidikan spiritual yang tidak eksklusif namun tetap berakar pada kekayaan tradisi iman masing-masing.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis narasi sangat penting bagi siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah agar dapat mengungkapkan apa yang ada pada pikirannya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah melalui model GOGREEN. Kegiatan Abdimas menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research. Kegiatan berupa pelaksanaan pelatihan kepada guru dan implementasi model GOGREEN kepada siswa dengan menggunakan metode pre-experimental one group pretest posttest. Kegiatan abdimas melibatkan 40 orang guru dan 28 siswa kelas V MIN 3 Subang. Proses kegiatan abdimas menggunakan instrumen observasi, angket serta penggalian data kemampuan menulis narasi siswa melalui tes. Data tes kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji independent t-test dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil kegiatan Abdimas menunjukkan 87% guru setuju model pemberlajaran GOGREEN dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis narasi. Hasil tes menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil pretest dan posttest kemampuan menulis narasi siswa dengan nilai sig. 0,000. Uji N-Gain pun menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa sebesar 59,76%.  Temuan ini memiliki implikasi dalam terciptanya budaya literasi yang lebih kuat di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah sekaligus meningkatkan kepedulian siswa terhadap isu-isu lingkungan sejak usia dini.

Abstract

Rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat Indonesia untuk melestarikan budaya dan nilai kearifan lokal di era teknologi digital dapat menyebabkan kepunahan budaya secara perlahan. Hal ini disebabkan karena perkembangan teknologi digital dapat membuat orang melupakan budayanya sendiri dan tidak mampu mempertahankan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang telah berlaku di dalam masyarakat. Kegiatan pengajaran di CJCU Taiwan dimanfaatkan oleh STT Moriah untuk memperkenalkan budaya dan kearifan lokal Indonesia di kancah Internasional serta melestarikannya melalui bidang pendidikan teologi supaya tidak terjadi kepunahan. Kegiatan pengajaran ini menggunakan pendekatan studi komparasi untuk mengangkat nilai kearifan lokal supaya sejajar dengan tradisi hikmat israel kuno. Metode penulisan ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dari dokumentasi kegiatan yang disimpan dalam bentuk foto, dokumen resmi, dan materi kuliah. Data tersebut direduksi, disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa magister teologi CJCU Taiwan mengenal secara mendalam dan tertarik dengan nilai kearifan lokal Indonesia yang begitu relevan dan sejajar dengan pengajaran di Kitab Suci Kristen. Tetapi masih ada kendala yang perlu diperhatikan pada kegiatan ini, terutama dari segi dana, sumber daya manusia, dan hal ini memerlukan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak yang bersangkutan. Penulisan ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi penelitian serupa dan juga dapat dijadikan bahan perbandingan bagi mahasiswa teologi yang ingin melakukan riset di bidang yang sama.

Abstract

Action-based environmental education plays a crucial role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and addressing the global climate crisis. In Indonesia, although environmental awareness is relatively high, it does not consistently translate into concrete and sustainable action, particularly among youth. This community engagement initiative explores the implementation of the Global Youth Network (GYN) Program, a collaborative initiative between Good Neighbors International and Gugah Nurani Indonesia. The initiative aims to assess the impact of the GYN Program in enhancing students’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to environmental sustainability. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The activities involved five student participants and six facilitators engaged in the program. The findings indicate that the GYN Program effectively promotes global environmental awareness and strengthens students’ capacity for meaningful action through activities such as SDGs education, environmental campaigns, tree planting, composting initiatives, and participation in international forums. Despite challenges including language barriers and time constraints, the program significantly empowers students to take initiative and actively engage in environmental solutions at both local and global levels. The study highlights the potential of collaborative, action-oriented environmental education programs in fostering youth leadership and sustainability engagement.

Abstract

Prevalensi penyalahgunaan narkoba yang terjadi di wilayah perkotaan cenderung lebih besar dibandingkan perdesaan. Kondisi ini terjadi karena di wilayah perkotaan terdapat jaringan pengedar narkoba serta adanya fasilitas yang mendukung dibandingkan dengan wilayah perdesaan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan produktivitas kerja penggiat P4GN di lingkungan Masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan yakni kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Penentuan sampel dilakukan melalui simple random sampling dengan total 38 orang. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji Kendall Tau dan Fisher Exact Test. Variabel yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan produktivitas kerja yaitu motivasi (p = 0,025) dan keterampilan (p = 0,004). Variabel yang tidak berhubungan dengan produktivitas kerja adalah umur (p-value 0,216), jenis kelamin (p = 1,000), pendidikan (p = 0,719), dan pelatihan (p = 1,000). Simpulan menunjukkan variabel yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan produktivitas kerja adalah variabel motivasi dan keterampilan. Sementara variabel umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, dan pelatihan tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan produktivitas kerja Penggiat P4GN. Implikasi pengabdian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan BNN dalam upaya meningkatkan produktivitas Penggiat P4GN di lingkungan masyarakat serta dapat lebih mudah dalam mempertimbangkan aspek mana saja yang harus ditingkatkan agar produktivitas kerja Penggiat P4GN mengalami peningkatan.
