Abstract

The facts show that the performance of the Study Program has not been achieved optimally. It can be seen from the accreditation results, quality of learning, scientific publications, and collaboration between institutions. Some study programs still have a low accreditation score (C), even regarding adequate resources. This study aims to analyze the effect of Communication, Collaboration, Compassion, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, and Computational Logic in improving the quality of graduation on organizational performance with the Coercive Intellectual Leadership approach. The census technique determined the research sample, meaning that the entire population was used as a sample. This study involved 21 Faculties of Economics and Business in Private Universities in Semarang, Central Java. Data analysis using statistical analysis software SEM-PLS. This research results show that 6C Management has a positive and significant effect on performance. From the data analysis results, coercive intellectual leadership inevitably moderates the effects of collaboration, critical thinking, and logic on performance. However, it cannot affect creativity, communication patterns, and compassion in improving performance.

Abstract

Performance is an increase of results achieved by employees in terms of quality or quantity with the existing working hours. Employees’ performance must be considered to determine the company's existence to ensure the company's profitability. The factors that cause employees’ performance to decline are the non-physical work environment and work stress which the company still does not pay attention to. This study aims to examine the effect of non-physical work environment and work stress on employees’ performance partially and simultaneously at Bank BNI Jailolo Unit, West Halmahera. This research was conducted at Bank BNI Jailolo Unit which has 40 people including a leader and employees. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires directly to employees of Bank BNI Jailolo Unit. The results of the study show that a non-physical work environment affects the employee’s performance but work stress does not affect the employee’s performance. However, simultaneously non-physical work environment and stress affect employee performance. This is because the work environment is good enough to help employees cope with work stress and can improve the employees’ performance.

Abstract

In serving taxpayers, SAMSAT must pay attention to environmental comfort. However, an explanation regarding the Samsat topic, especially in the public service sector. This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment on the performance of SAMSAT employees in Maros Regency. The method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. This research is quantitative research with a Likert scale type of questionnaire. 31 SAMSAT employees of Maros Regency were recruited as respondents. The instrument validity test uses item analysis and is calculated using the product-moment formula, while the reliability test uses Cronbach's Alpha formula. Prerequisites of analysis include normality test and linearity test. The results showed that the work environment in SAMSAT Maros Regency was in a suitable category, namely 60.22% from 100%. The results of the study indicate that the workplace environment shapes employee performance. In addition, a toxic work environment will harm employee performance and lead to work outcomes. It is more likely to be experienced by junior employees. Therefore, to overcome this problem, many strategies can be done to overcome this problem. One strategy is for organizational leaders to support employees by acknowledging their problems at work and providing essential assistance, especially for tasks with more stressful requirements.

Abstract

The development of technology, especially the internet, is beneficial in any case, including work. Despite the many benefits of the internet, its widespread use in the workplace has inadvertently formed a new pattern of deviant behavior called cyberloafing. This study aimed to analyze the effect of role ambiguity and organizational justice on job stress and cyberloafing. The research method used is quantitative by using a questionnaire for data collection. A sample of 104 respondents was taken by accidental sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire in the form of a google form distributed through social media, email, and others. The data analysis technique of this research uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with Smart-PLS software as an analytical tool. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the variables of work ambiguity and organizational justice affect work stress. Role ambiguity and organizational justice were also found to influence cyberloafing behavior. However, this study did not support the research hypothesis about job stress mediating the effect of role ambiguity and organizational justice on cyberloafing.

Abstract

The uniqueness of natural tourism and new tourist experiences at Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang can attract tourists to visit this destination. The novelty aspect of the destination allows new experiences for tourists to stimulate their beliefs about the destination and influence the decision-making process. In addition, the destination's image is an essential factor that influences the intention of returning tourists. This study aims to analyze the effect of novelty and destination image on the intention to revisit domestic tourists at Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang. This research uses quantitative methods. Data from the online questionnaire survey was collected from 100 domestic tourists who had visited Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang from 2018 to 2021. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 25.0. The test results show that the novelty of Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang partially has a positive and significant effect on the intention to revisit domestic tourists. The destination's image has a positive and significant effect on the intention to revisit domestic tourists at Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang. The novelty and the destination's image simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the intention to revisit domestic tourists at Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang.

Abstract

This research's background is the phenomenon of drastic changes in the work environment due to the pandemic, the high number of millennial generation employees, and many employees in control of their careers. This study aims to analyze the effect of Protean Career Attitude, Passion for Work, and Self-Management on Proactive Work Behavior in the millennial generation. The number of respondents is 92 people. The research approach used is descriptive. The population in this study were all employees at PT Satria Parang Tritis, totaling 120 employees. The sample used in this study was 92 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The method of data analysis is multiple linear regression. The results of the partial study, Protean Career Attitude has a positive and significant effect on Proactive Work Behavior) with a t-count value of 2.485 > t-table 1.986 and a sig value of 0.015 <0.05. Passion For work has a positive and significant effect on Proactive Work Behavior with a value of t-count 4.220 > t-table 1.986 and sig value 0.000 <0.05. Self-Management positively and significantly affects Proactive Work Behavior with t-count value 2.323 > t-table 1.986 and sig value 0.022 <0.05 in generation millennials at PT Satria Parang Tritis. Simultaneously, Protean Career Attitude, Passion For Work, and self-management positively and significantly affect Proactive Work Behavior in the millennial generation at PT Satria Parang Tritis.

Abstract

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, economic growth in various business sectors worldwide has decreased. The background of this research is the phenomenon of not achieving production targets, leaders who are too strict with subordinates, communication between employees is not good, and lack of discipline and self-awareness of employees in carrying out regulations. This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of Leadership Style, Communication, and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT Sinar Gunung Sawit Raya. The approach in this study is a quantitative descriptive approach. The population totals 140 employees. The technique of determining the sample is simple random sampling. Collecting data in this study using observation, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. Partial test results Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Sinar Gunung Sawit Raya. Simultaneously Leadership Style, Communication, and Work Discipline positively and significantly affect Employee Performance at PT. Rays of Gunung Sawit Raya.

Abstract

Business people must provide accurate and relevant information and be free from fraud that will mislead other parties. To provide appropriate information for users of financial statements, the preparation of these financial statements must be prepared as well as possible according to accurate data based on applicable accounting rules. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial stability, external pressure, industry nature, rationalization, and capability on financial statement fraud. This study uses secondary data. The design used in this research is causal research. The research population was conducted on all manufacturing companies that went public and were active on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2015-2019 period. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling method. According to the sampling criteria, a total sample of 63 companies was obtained from the observations in this study. The results of this study prove that financial stability and rationalization affect financial statement fraud. Meanwhile, external pressure, the nature of the industry, and the capability do not affect fraudulent financial statements.

Abstract

This research begins with a phenomenon where several banking sector companies experience increased corruption cases in financial management. The low internal control system and the lack of good corporate governance are opportunities to commit fraud by taking advantage of positions and positions. If these two things are done well, the company can undoubtedly minimize fraud, which will affect the quality of its financial statements. This study aims to analyze the role of banks in practicing reasonable internal control and governance systems. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal type of research. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal type of research. The population in this study is a national private commercial bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was determined based on the accidental method, with a total sample of 34 established bank companies. The process of collecting primary data using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed and processed using Smart PLS. The results showed that the internal control system had a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention but no effect on financial reports' quality. At the same time, the principles of good corporate governance have a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention and the quality of financial reports. Fraud prevention has a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reports.

Abstract

In college, the willingness of students to start or run a business is still relatively low. This study aimed to analyze the role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy in mediating the effect of entrepreneurship education and financial support on entrepreneurial behavior. This research is a type of causality research. Data collection was continued by distributing questionnaires in Google Form to several WhatsApp groups. This study's population is active university students who already have online businesses in Bali. The sample size used is 210 respondents with the purposive sampling method. The analytical technique used is Path Analysis using SEM-PLS. The results showed that entrepreneurship education positively and significantly affected entrepreneurial behavior. Financial support also has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial behavior. Furthermore, entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy; financial support also has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy affects entrepreneurial behavior. In addition, entrepreneurial self-efficacy can mediate the effect of entrepreneurship education and financial support on online business entrepreneurial behavior.
