Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has lasted for two years is a dynamic condition that has an impact on all dimensions of life, including educational field. Various changes that appear in learning activities at school can not be denied has become a stressful situation that requires students to adapt quickly. Several findings have shown that there is a decrease in students' psychological well-being during the pandemic. This condition emphasizes that students need to have good psychological resilience so they are able to face difficulties and misfortunes, and be adaptive due the changes. The development of student resilience can be done through guidance and counseling services. SMART-R is a strength-based counseling model that can be implemented by counselors (BK teachers) to develop student resilience. Through the implementation of SMART-R counseling, students can have a more adaptive response in dealing with pressures and changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and can develop more positive feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to create an expressive writing diary as a way to improve the adjustment of seventh grade students at SMP A. Wahid Hasyim Jombang. The research method used is a type of development research with the Borg & Gall model which has 10 steps, namely: 1) research and information gathering, (2) planning, (3) product format development, (4) initial trial, (5) revision product, (6) field trial, (7) product revision, (8) field test, (9) final product revision, and (10) dissemination and implementation. However, with limited time, the researcher only reached stage 5. The results of the material expert test were 88.23%, the media expert test was 92.8%, and the expert test for prospective users was 78.33% so that the overall criteria were very good. , does not need to be revised and good, does not need to be revised. The results of the prototype of the expressive writing diary in the form of a diary with A5 size. The expressive writing diary book media to improve the adjustment of seventh grade students in junior high school has met the product acceptability criteria based on usability, feasibility, accuracy and propriety.

Abstract

This study was intended to determine the effect of the intensity of using the Tik Tok application with self-confidence in students at the State University of Semarang. This research uses correlational quantitative method. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a population of 1170 people, the number of samples is 265 people. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect of the intensity of using the tik tok application on self-confidence. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that lecturers hold activities by utilizing social media such as Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook and others which are currently being used by students. As a student, self-confidence is needed both in terms of lectures and in terms of society. So it can be concluded that the intensity of using the tik tok application greatly affects the self-confidence of FIP UNNES students, so if the intensity of using the tik tok application on students is high, the confidence in students will be high as well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of andragogy-based simulations in improving digital marketing competence in whatsapp blaster training for waqf volunteers of the VIII batch of 2022 which took place at the AQL Islamic Center. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data was collected by direct observation, interviews and documentation studies. Testing the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources, while the data analysis uses the techniques of reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) WhatsApp blaster training for waqf volunteers at AQL Islamic Center had implemented optimal simulation stages according to the steps in the learning method, seen from the learning process from beginning to end which was carried out during the training. 2) The implementation of the training uses an adult approach by taking into account the participants' self-concept, experience, readiness to learn from participants and learning orientation of participants. 3) There is an increase in digital marketing competence, especially in the whatsapp blaster material for the training participants, which is shown through the ability to broadcast whatsapp messages, the ability to increase database contacts, the ability to auto reply techniques and the ability to close consumer techniques.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused students to no longer be able to carry out face-to-face meetings as usual, this has hampered their personal and social development. This study will focus on seeing whether there is an influence between the family environment and grit on academic self-efficacy. Using simple random sampling technique, this study involved 106 7th and 8th grade students of SMPN Surabaya, Indonesia. The instruments used in this study were parenting style questionnaires, persistence questionnaires and academic self-efficacy questionnaires. The results showed that the F test was 12,361 and the significance was 0.000 > 0.05 indicating that there was a significant effect between family environment and grit on the academic self-efficacy of junior high school students. So that a good family environment in this case parenting will affect the child's self-efficacy, in this study authoritarian parenting is the parenting pattern that has the most positive influence on self-efficacy. Then to improve academic self-efficacy, parents and teachers must collaborate to create a family and school environment that supports children to develop well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's perception of the leadership of the principal of the State Elementary School 13 Surau Gadang seen from influencing, moving and motivating. This research includes descriptive research, the population is 16 people who teach at SDN 13 Surau Gadang. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The instrument uses a questionnaire/questionnaire. Research results In general, the teacher's perception of the leadership of the Principal of the State Elementary School 13 Surau Gadang is on an average score of 4.5 with a good category. This means that the leadership at the State Senior High School 1 Lembah Melintang has been going well. That the principal's leadership must be able to encourage the performance of teachers by showing a sense of friendship, closeness, and consideration for teachers, both as individuals and as groups.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low self-confidence of students which is characterized by feelings of shame when they will argue in front of friends in a group atmosphere. The research participants were six students of SMP Negeri 3 Palu, and questionnaires on student self-confidence as the instrument. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the Wilcoxon sign rank test formula. The descriptive analysis revealed that five students had low self-confidence before attending group guidance with the home room technique, while one student had moderate self-confidence. There was an increase in students' self-confidence after attending group guidance services with the home room technique, with five students having moderate self-confidence and one having high self-confidence. The inferential analysis revealed a significant difference in student self-confidence before and after receiving the home room technique group guidance service.

Abstract

Humans are resources that are assets in the organization. Humans have roles and functions that cannot be replaced by other resources even in technological improvements in science. Humans are an important factor in the development and progress of an organization. Because only humans have the ability to think critically (critical thinking), communicate (communication), collaborate (collaboration) and be creative (creativity). These human capabilities are needed by the organization in analyzing positions, analyzing organizational needs, managing existing resources (Man, Money and Material), making plans and other functions. In addition to this, organizations also need people who are dedicated, have good performance and are able to bind themselves to the vision and mission of the organization for the achievement of the goals of the organization. Therefore, in realizing a quality organization, people who are also qualified and have a high work commitment are needed. The purpose of this study was to find out how the competence and commitment to work in the organization at the Regional VIII Education Office Branch Office, Mentawai Islands Regency. This research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study. Data collection in this study was carried out using participatory observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The data is processed by using source triangulation technique. The findings of this study state 1) Low work commitment due to low competence. 2) Work commitment results in low performance. 3) Low work commitment causes the organizational culture to become less good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of the principal's leadership in improving teacher performance at SMAN 1 Kampar Utara. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive research design. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant role between the principal's leadership in improving teacher performance at SMAN 1 Kampar Utara. There are 6 main roles of leadership in improving performance: 1) Applying a leadership style that is democratic, straightforward and open. 2) Provide time to communicate with teachers, students, and other school members. 3) Emphasize to teachers and all school members to comply with disciplinary norms. 4) Conduct regular and continuous meetings with teachers, school members, and school committees. 5) Guiding and directing teachers in solving problems. 6) Conduct class visits to observe directly learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the principal as a leader in SMKN 1 Bintan Timur. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects consisted of principals, teachers and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques using the first data analysis technique, namely data reduction, second data collection and then drawing conclusions. The results of the study show the role of the principal as a leader, which refers to the way the principal in mobilizing, directing, guiding, protecting, fostering, setting an example, giving encouragement and providing assistance in order to achieve the school's vision and mission
