Abstract

Numerical methods are used to solve the differential equations in the case of a damped pendulum system. In this paper, we aim to solve the equation of dumped pendulum motion using some numerical. Four numerical methods are decomposed, each the Euler method, fourth-order Runge-Kutte, Odeint provided in Python, and Neural Network scheme. All answers obtained are approximations or predictions that include errors. The error of those methods will be compared with the analytical solution of the case, known as the global error. The Odeint and fourth-order Runge-Kutta methods are more accurate than the other methods. The Odeint is built from the Runge-Kutta fourth-order method.The Neural Network method has less accuracy than Runge-Kutta, but the error obtained is still within acceptable tolerance limits.

Abstract

Low English skills can have an impact on various things related to students' academic progress. One of them is that students have difficulty accessing various international learning references written in English. This research aims to develop an interactive module to support English lectures for physics in the Physics Education Study Program, Ganesha University of Education. Development of interactive modules as a solution to provide adaptive and effective physics English lecture teaching materials to increase students' motivation in attending lectures. Specifically, the objectives of this research include 1) describing the validity of the interactive module being developed; 2) describe the level of practicality of the interactive module being developed; 3) describe the effectiveness of the interactive module developed in increasing student learning motivation. This research uses development research methods with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation).

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penguatan dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila yang dimaksudkan pada penelitian ini adalah dimensi kemandirian dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas X1 SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja sebanyak 48 siswa. Seluruh siswa diberikan kuesioner kemandirian belajar dan tes kreativitas pada akhir pembelajaran. Selama proses pembelajaran, siswa diberikan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis proyek yang dikerjakan selama 6 minggu. Implementasi kurikulum Merdeka pada fase E sudah dilakukan sejak tahun 2022, khususnya di SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. Kemandirian belajar yang dimaksud terdiri dari 3 aspek yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kreativitas yang dimaksud terdiri dari 4 aspek yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian, dan elaborasi. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rerata kemandirian belajar siswa sebesar 124,08 pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan standar deviasi 7,87. Rerata kreativitas siswa sebesar 78,36 pada kategori tinggi dengan standar deviasi 8,94. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat mengembangkan aspek-aspek kemandirian dalam belajar dan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model Direct Instruction (DI). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian pretest – posttest non equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian diperoleh menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 43 siswa yang terdistribusi ke dalam dua kelas. Data HOTS siswa diperoleh melalui hasil pretest dan posttest siswa. Semua pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji normalitas dan homogenitas kedua kelompok > 0,05. Dengan demikian, data N-Gain score dinyatakan terdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians data homogen. Selanjutnya, hasil uji-t kemampuan HOTS siswa yaitu 0,000. Dengan demikian, data N-Gain score < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan HOTS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model PBL dan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model DI.

Abstract

The results of learning physics for grade XI high school / MA students are still low, one of the reasons is that the teaching materials used are still dense, textual, and the media used is still not attractive. Based on these problems, researchers aim to (1) develop attractive physics e-modules based on science, environment, technology, and society to improve physics learning outcomes of grade XI high school / MA students, (2) describe the practicality of interactive physics e-modules based on science, environment, technology and society, and (3) describe the effectiveness of s-based interactive physics e-modules AINS, environment, technology and society in improving physics learning outcomes of grade XI high school / MA students. The e-module development model uses ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development. The subjects in this study were 2 physics lecturers, 5 practicality teachers, and 32 students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the research obtained (1) the interactive physics e-module is very feasible to be used with an average value of media experts of 0.92 and material experts of 0.96 in the very feasible category, (2) the interactive physics e-module is very practical to use in learning with an average value of teacher practitioners of 93% of the very practical category and student response questionnaires of 75% of the Practical category, and (3) the attractive physics e-module is effective enough to improve student physics learning outcomes with a value obtained of 0.44 medium category. Based on the results of data analysis described above, it can be concluded that SLTM based e-modules are feasible to use, practical, and quite effective in improving the learning outcomes of physics class XI SMA/MA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R & D dengan latar belakang belum tersedianya media pembelajaran berupa E-LKPD pada pembelajaran fisika di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas E-LKPD, dampak penggunaannya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kepraktisan E-LKPD yang dikembangkan. Populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik jenjang SMA di Kota Jayapura. Instumen yang dipergunakan adalah angket validitas dan angket kepraktisan yang dikembangkan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan E-LKPD berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan layak dipergunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika, validator ahli memberikan hasil validasi 89% (kategori baik), sedangkan rata-rata hasil validasi oleh praktisi 91,22% (ketegori sangat baik); persentase peningkatan n-gain kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan E-LKPD sebesar 0,72 masuk pada kategori tinggi, pada kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan LKPD konvensional sebesar 0,48 pada kategori sedang. Ditemukan bahwa rata-rata hasil uji kepraktisan penggunakan E-LKPD sebesar 94,87% tergolong dalam kriteria sangat praktis.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literature review on the integration of the Discovery Learning Model, SASAMBO Local Cultural Character, and problem solving skills in teaching basic science concepts at the elementary level. The research method used in this study involves a literature review analysis of relevant scientific articles selected based on certain criteria relevant to the objectives of this research. In this literature review, researchers analyzed five relevant scientific articles that discuss this approach. The results of the literature review show that the integration of the Discovery Learning Model in science learning is effective in increasing student involvement, stimulating interest in learning, and deepening understanding of scientific concepts. Apart from that, the integration of SASAMBO's Local Cultural Character also has a positive impact by increasing students' relevance and motivation towards science learning. The integration of problem-solving skills also helps students develop important critical, analytical, and creative skills. Nonetheless, challenges in implementing this integration, such as teacher training and sensitivity to students' cultural context, need to be addressed through continued research and collaboration between educational stakeholders. By optimizing the implementation of this integration, it is hoped that it can create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, which empowers students to achieve success in science and their future lives.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini terkait rendahnya pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik karena faktor kurang tepatnya pemilihan model pembelajaran, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi efektivitas penerapan discovery learning yang terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan eksperimen dengan desain pre-test-post-test control group designs. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara random sampling dari populasi yakni siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Kolaka. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pemahaman konsep dan lembar observasi dengan analisis data statistik deskriptif dan inferensial independent t-test. Hasil yang diperoleh rerata post-test kelas eksperimen 78,6 > kelas kontrol 52,8, dengan N-Gain pre-test dan post-test kelas ekseperimen 0,65 (sedang) > kelas kontrol 0,29 (rendah). T-test menunjukkkan hasil thitung = 15,5 > ttabel = 1,66, atau Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya rata-rata hasil post-test kelas eksperimen lebih baik secara signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Kesimpulannya yakni penerapan discovery learning yang terintegrasi kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik.

Abstract

Suatu proses pembelajaran lebih bermakna jika pendidikbisa menyajikan pembelajaran dengan mengggunakan media pembelajaran yang baik. Media yang digunakan oleh pendidik berupa power point dan juga video pembelajaran dalam bentuk link youtube yang tidak selalu digunakan setiap proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis lumio by smart pada mata pelajaran fisika kelas XI SMAN 12 Padang yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Insturmen yang digunakan berupa angket validitas dan praktikalitas, digunakan untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Persentase tingkat validitas berdasarkan ahli materi dan ahli media rata-rata validasi sebesar 90,77% yang terkategori sangat valid. Persentase kepraktisan media sebesar 88,18% yang terkategori sangat praktis. Sehingga bahan ajar yang dikembangkan terkategori sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research with meta- analysis methods. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the project learning model on student creativity. The research sample consisted of 10 articles in the accredited national journal Sinta. All articles are the result of research on physical learning in the science group at the high school level. The data analysis technique used is calculating the effect size value. Based on the results of the meta- analysis, it was found that the average total effect size value was 1.55 with a standard deviation of 0.83, which was in the very high category. This shows that the problem-based learning model is effective in increasing student creativity. The results further show that the project-based learning model is also effective at various levels of high school and various physics subject matter.
