Abstract

Kyai is a charismatic leader for their santris (student in islamic boarding school) has existed in Indonesia since long time ago. The Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) was well known as Islamic educational institution to bring up children to read, write and living according to the guidance of the Koran. The core element of Pesantren are Kyai and his wife, students supervisors, teachers council, students, mosque, and curriculum, while teaching the Koran has become a sub-culture of its own. Establishing character education in very early age is urgent to form a positive sub-culture of personal life to face the challenge of modernization and globalization. Furthermore, many stakeholders stated that Pesantren is one of the educational institutions that can serve as a role model for character education in Indonesia. Two questions will be addressed in this paper is how Kyai’s role model can shape children's religious attitude of kids boarding school. Abstract

AbstractPolitical developments in Indonesia since the old era (orde lama), the new era (orde baru) until the reform era (pasca-orde baru/reformasi) that occurred in Indonesia is a long history that has implications for various fields of life, including in the field of Islamic education. The political policies that emerged in these various orders certainly greatly influenced the existing policies in Islamic education. This research is library research by reviewing the literature that is in accordance with the topic of the development of Islamic politics in Indonesia and its relation to Islamic education. The results of this discussion include the gap between Islamic education and general education, policies on the legality of Islamic Education in the National Education System, and the portion of Islamic education learning in general education institutions.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to unravel the problems of 21st Century education, especially the problems of digital literacy. In principle, 21st century education provides a mandate, one of which is the development of critical thinking skills through digital literacy to students. This research is a library research. The results of this study are that the literacy culture of students is still in a very low position, which is still limited to the ability to access digital information only, even though students live amidst the spread of reading material in the internet world, including in the context of Islamic Religious Education. The novelty in this study, namely critical thinking skills, can be achieved if the literacy skills of students are not only limited to digital literacy but also informational literacy, ethical literacy and functional literacy, especially in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract: Moral education has an important role to form students who are intellectually and behaviorally qualified. But what is happening now is the finding of a student's moral crisis which is supported by various immoral between students in schools. This study aims to determine the concept of moral education of students in the book Washoya Al Abaa' Lil Abnaa' by Sheikh Muhammad Syakir. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and the type of research used is library research with the data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this study indicate that in the book Washoya Al Abaa' Lil Abnaa' by Sheikh Muhammad Syakir there are several concepts of moral education that must be possessed by students including: morals to teachers, morals in making friends, and morals in studying. Keywords: Moral Education, Students, Sheikh Muhammad Syakir Abstrak:. Pendidikan akhlak mempunyai peran penting dalam membentuk peserta didik yang berkualitas secara intelektual dan tingkah laku. Namun yang terjadi sekarang, ditemukannya krisis akhlak seorang peserta didik yang didukung dari berbagai peristiwa amoral di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan akhlak peserta didik dalam kitab Washoya Al Abaa’ Lil Abnaa’ karya Syekh Muhammad Syakir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan teknik analisis data yang dipakai adalah analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam kitab Washoya Al Abaa’ Lil Abnaa’ karya Syekh Muhammad Syakir terdapat beberapa konsep pendidikan akhlak yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik di antaranya yaitu: akhlak kepada guru, akhlak dalam berteman, dan akhlak dalam menuntut ilmu. Kata kunci:  Pendidikan Akhlak, Peserta Didik, Syekh Muhammad Syakir

Abstract

Abstract: Lately, there has been a decrease in understanding of the importance of worship caused by the lack of creativity of a teacher in delivering material. In this era of increasingly rapid digital development, it is hoped that a solution can be made to increase students' understanding of the importance of worship for them. The purpose of this study was to analyze a learning method/media in improving spiritual attitudes. and understanding of Islamic religious education materials about prayer procedures with visual literacy-based learning. Visual literacy or audio-visual media is a technology that produces benefits in delivering material using electronics to improve learning outcomes and communicate with students more effectively. The types of this study uses research action. The results of research in the application of visual literacy-based learning methods have a significant impact and can increase students' enthusiasm for learning and make it easier to understand the material taught by the teacher effectively and efficiently. Keyword: visual literacy, spiritual attitude, prayer Abstrak: Akhir-akhir ini terjadi penurunan pemahaman akan pentingnya ibadah yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kreativitas seorang guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Di era perkembangan digital yang semakin pesat ini diharapkan dapat dibuat suatu solusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang betapa pentingnya ibadah bagi mereka. Abstract

Abstract:This study discusses the design from progressness of local religious content in shaping religious culture at SDN Perak 2 Perak Jombang. This study use qualitative approach. The result of research that has been done regarding the design of the curriculum of local religious content in shaping religious culture at SDN Perak 2 Jombang, show that the implementation of local religious content at SDN Perak 2 Perak Jombang has been going on for 3 years. The material that teaches in local content is more about material that hones the religious skills of students. The teaching materials include prayer, reading and writing of al-Qur'an, worship and invocation, and memorizing letters. As for ordering religious culture SDN Perak 2 Perak through several ways of making school policies in the form of religious regulations and programs, and maximizing the function of religious symbols. The design of local religious content development carried out by SDN Perak 2 in shaping religious culture in schools is realized in an application program. This program is the result of extracurricular development in the local religious content curriculum. In addition, the teacher also develops learning outcomes or learning outcomes of local religious content.

Abstract

Abstract: The application of class grouping between male and female students is a policy that is rarely found in formal schools in Indonesia. With the application of class grouping between male and female students, it is expected to be able to improve the morals of the students through the learning of moral aqidah. This study intends to find out 1) the application of gender-based class grouping in aqidah moral learning, 2) supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing gender-based class grouping in learning aqidah morality 3) the impact of the application of gender-based class grouping in learning morals. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the study, the application of gender-based class grouping in the learning of aqidah morality in class IX is that the learning conditions of class students are increasingly conducive and learning becomes more focused and male students and female students are able to grow self-control against the opposite sex and form akhlaq karimah from each class. habituation carried out by madrasas. Keywords: Learning Akhlak Akidah, Class Grouping, Gender. Abstrak: Penerapan pengelompokan kelas antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan merupakan kebijakan yang jarang ditemui di sekolah formal di Indonesia. Dengan penerapan pengelompokan kelas antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan akhlakul kharimah siswa-siswinya melalui pembelaharan akidah akhlak. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui 1) penerapan pengelompokan kelas berbasis gender dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak, 2) faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan pengelompokan kelas berbasis gender dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak, 3) dampak penerapan pengelompokan kelas berbasis gender dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan pengelompokan kelas berbasis gender dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak di kelas IX yaitu kondisi belajar siswa kelas yang semakin kondusif dan belajar menjadi lebih terarah serta siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan mampu menumbuhkan kontrol diri terhadap lawan jenis dan membentuk akhlakul karimah dari setiap pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh madrasah

Abstract

Leaders have a very strategic role in the success of every program, including madrasa education institutions. The Head of Islamic Senior High School Muallimin Muallimat carries out his managerial role in initiating the development of literate school that is supported by all elements of the school. This study aims to determine the role of school principals in developing literate Islamic school based on the GELEM program guidelines formulated by the Ministry of Religion of East Java Province. The research method used was field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique was done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then aAbstract: This study aims to find out how the implementation of the madrasa literacy movement in Islamic boarding schools is based, then to also find out the factors that influence the development of madrasa literacy culture in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the literacy movement at Madrasah Aliyah Muallimin Muallimat Tambakberas includes the habituation stage, the development stage and the learning stage. Then there are several factors that influence the development of a pesantren-based madrasah literacy culture, including psychosocial factors, leadership factors, environmental factors, organizational factors, ecological factors, and government policies. These factors tend to have a positive impact on the process of developing a literacy culture at Madrasah Aliyah Muallimin Muallimat Tambakberas. The novelty of this study is that the effective leadership factor of the madrasa head is the main factor for optimizing the development of a literacy culture by achieving 8 out of 9 indicators according to the Madrasah Literacy Movement program guidelinesnalyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that there are several factors that influence the development of literacy culture islamic school, including psychosocial factors, leadership factors, environmental factors, organizational factors, ecological factors, and government policies. These factors tend to have a positive impact on the process of developing a literacy culture at Islamic Senior High School Muallimin Muallimat Tambakberas. The leadership role of the Islamic senior high school principal is the main foundation for optimizing the development of a literacy culture. The results of the study also showed that the leadership carried out by the Islamic school principal was quite good and effective, as evidenced by the achievement of 8 out of 9 indicators in accordance with the GELEM program guidelines.
