Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan September. Jurnal ini mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian tentang pendidikan dan pengajaran, dan artikel yang masuk hendaknya bukan hasil plagiat dan belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Artikel akan di review oleh reviewer dan hasilnya akan dikomunikasikan kepada penulis. Abstract

Verbal Bullying  represents a prevalent form of violence in elementary schools that demands serious attention due to its detrimental effects on student development. This research analyzes the causal factors of verbal Bullying  from student, teacher, and school environment perspectives, while examining its social and academic impacts on students at SDN Inpres 2 Tanamodindi Palu. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Six informants were selected through purposive sampling: two victim students, two perpetrator students, one witness student, and one fifth-grade teacher. Data collection utilized participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with thematic analysis applied to examine the findings. Results reveal that verbal Bullying  encompasses four primary dimensions: individual factors (recognition-seeking behavior, low empathy, and superiority complex), family factors (ineffective communication patterns and weak parent-child relationships), school factors (inadequate teacher supervision and insufficient prevention programs), and peer factors (group reinforcement and negative behavior transmission across grade levels). The impacts of verbal Bullying  are multidimensional, affecting psychological dimensions (shame, fear, sadness, and internalization of negative labels), academic performance (reduced motivation and achievement), and social functioning (isolation, defensive social strategies, and school avoidance). Notably, Bullying  witnesses also experience emotional distress, suggesting the development of collective trauma within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of short film media in teaching students to review fictional works in Grade VIII at SMPN 5 Kota Jambi. The background of this research stems from students’ low reading interest and their difficulty in understanding fictional elements when learning relies solely on written texts. Short films were selected as learning media because they provide concrete visualizations of stories, are engaging, easy to access, and capable of improving students’ ability to analyze and evaluate fictional works. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis of students’ review assignments. Data were analyzed using the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the use of short films enhances students’ activeness during the learning process, strengthens their understanding of themes, characters, plot, setting, and moral messages, and helps them produce more structured and coherent reviews. Students demonstrated higher responsiveness, enthusiasm, and comprehension when the material was presented through audiovisual media. However, the study also found that teachers need to manage class time more effectively and provide additional guidance to ensure that students focus not only on the viewing experience but also on deeper analytical processes. Overall, the use of short film media proves to be relevant and effective in supporting Indonesian language learning, particularly in teaching the skill of reviewing fictional works, and it offers a creative and contextual alternative learning method that can be applied in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penyampaian informasi mengenai strategi belajar mandiri melalui media audio visual dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 19 Palu. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan populasi sebanyak 328 siswa dari kelas VII hingga IX. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dan dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif serta inferensial. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yang mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dalam penyampaian informasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa media audio visual efektif dalam mendorong peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 19 Palu.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to identify and examine the sociocultural norms in interaction and interpretation, as well as to analyze the transformation of communication culture among Simalungun language speakers in Jambi City. Data were collected using participatory observation and in-depth interviews with the Simalungun community residing in the research location. The data analysis technique employed was speech situation data analysis, focusing on the context supporting the utterances in a conversation. The data analysis process involved three interactive stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, performed throughout the research period. The findings reveal that the sociocultural norms among Simalungun speakers in Jambi City are divided into three main categories. First, Sociocultural Norms of Interaction, which include five sub-norms: (1) granting turn-taking opportunities to the interlocutor, (2) demonstrating a sympathetic attitude towards the interlocutor's speech, (3) avoiding interruption of the interlocutor, (4) apologizing for not meeting the interlocutor's expectations, and (5) expressing gratitude for attention and service. Second, Sociocultural Norms of Interpretation, encompassing three aspects: (1) attitude and body gestures (posture, hands, facial expressions, and eye contact), (2) inquiring about personal status (occupation, marital status, age, and social status), and (3) maintaining appropriate physical distance between the speaker and the interlocutor. Third, the study identified Sociocultural Norms in the Transformation of Communication Culture. These findings contribute to understanding the linguistic dynamics of migrant ethnic groups within a different cultural environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan konseling kelompok teknik art therapy dalam mereduksi stres akademik pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Tadulako. Menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental Grup dengan bentuk Non Equivalent Control Grup Desain. Jumlah populasi 143 mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Tadulako angkatan 2024, menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel purposive sampling di peroleh 16 sampel penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U Test Non-Parametrik dengan taraf signifikan (α=0,05). Memperoleh hasil analisis deskriptif dengan skor rata-rata pre-test kelompok eksperimen 51,3 dengan klasifikasi stres akademik tinggi, dan skor rata-rata pre-test pada kelompok kontrol 49,6 dengan klasifikasi stres akademik sedang, setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik art therapy pada kelompok eksperimen diperoleh skor rata-rata post-test 35,6 dengan klasifikasi stres akademik rendah sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok tanpa art therapy memperoleh skor rata-rata post-test 41,2 dengan kalsifikasi stres akademik sedang. Hasil analisis Inferensial menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U Test memperoleh nilai signifikan atau Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,035˂0,05. Data yang diperoleh membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan stres akademik mahasiswa, antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Sehingga konseling kelompok teknik art therapy efektif dalam mereduksi stres akademik pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Tadulako.

Abstract

Gold mining activities play an important role in improving the economic conditions of both communities and the state. However, these activities often cause negative environmental impacts, such as water and soil pollution, ecosystem degradation, and a decline in the quality of life of communities living around mining areas. This study aims to examine the environmental impacts of gold mining from the perspective of Islamic economics. The research method employed is a literature review by analyzing various sources that discuss gold mining, environmental issues, and the concepts of Islamic economics. The results indicate that gold mining practices that neglect environmental sustainability are not in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics, particularly the values of trust (amanah), justice, and public welfare (maslahah). From the perspective of Islamic economics, natural resources are considered a trust that must be managed wisely and sustainably. Therefore, gold mining activities are only acceptable when they are carried out by applying environmentally friendly principles, responsible waste management, and fair policies for local communities and the surrounding environment. This study emphasizes the importance of balancing economic benefits with environmental conservation in order to achieve sustainable welfare.

Abstract

This research addresses two key research questions: What role do guidance and counseling teachers play in reducing student truancy, and what factors contribute to students' truancy behavior? The research aims to examine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in addressing truancy among students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu and to identify the underlying factors that lead to truancy behavior. This descriptive qualitative research involved guidance andcounseling teachersandsevenstudentsfromgrades VIIandVIIIasresearchparticipants. Datawerecollectedthroughobservation,interviews,anddocumentationanalysis.Theresearch revealedthatstudenttruancyisaprevalentissueattheschool,withthreeprimarycontributing factors:personalproblems,hostileschoolenvironment,andfamily-relatedissues,particularly broken homes. The study found that guidance and counseling teachers play a crucial role in addressing truancy through various interventions, including individual counseling sessions, group counseling, home visits, and providing ongoing guidance, support, advice, and motivationtohelpstudentsdeveloppositivebehavioralchanges.Thefindingsdemonstratethat guidance and counseling teachers are essential in addressing student truancy problems within theschoolenvironment.Theirmultifacetedapproachtointerventionshowspromiseinhelping students overcome truancy behaviors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on students’ ability to write explanatory texts. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pretest–posttest control group experimental design. The subjects were tenth-grade vocational high school students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through explanatory text writing tests administered before and after the treatment. Data analysis used N-Gain and Independent Sample t-Test. The results indicate a significant difference in the improvement of students’ explanatory text writing skills between the experimental and control groups. Therefore, Project Based Learning has a significant effect on improving students’ explanatory text writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital untuk mengurangi dampak negatif teknoligi digital pada kualitas pembelajaran siswa khusunya di kota Palu Sulawesi Tengah. Adapun permasalah pokok penelitian ini adalah 1) Bagaimana tingkat pemahaman literasi digital siswa SMAN di Kota Palu sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan didgital. 2) Bagaimana dampak negatif teknologi digital pada pembelajaran siswa SMA di kota Palu sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan literasi digital. 3) Apakah pelatihan literasi digital dapat meningkatkan pemahaman literasi digital pada siswa SMAN 1 Palu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaf kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain pre-test dan post-test. Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa SMA yang terlibat dalam sebuah program pelatihan literasi digital selama dua hari yaitu SMAN 1 Palu, SMAN 4 Palu dan SMAN 5 yang berjumlah 58 orang di pilih secara random sebagai perwakilan dari sekolah SMA yang ada di kota yang dipilih secara purporsif berdasarkan letak geografis. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket literasi digital dan angket dampak negatif teknologi digital pada kualitas pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t Paired Samples Test dan Regresi Linier Sederhana dengan bantuan statistik SPS versi 26. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tidak ada perbedaan literasi digital siswa sebelum dan sesuadah diberikan pelatihan digital. 2) Berdasarkan Tabel Model Summary ditemukan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan literasi digital terhadap dampak negatif teknologi digital pada siswa SMA di kota Palu dengan nilai R sebesar 0, 025 < 0,05. 3). Pelatihan literasi digital tidak meningkatkan pemahaman literasi digital pada siswa SMA di kota Palu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of learning media, to determine the practicality of learning media and the effectiveness of learning media developed on human respiratory system materials. The type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of validation by material experts on Baamboozle's interactive quiz-based learning media obtained a score of 92% with the criterion of "Very Feasible". The results of validation by media experts obtained a score of 95% with the criterion of "Very Feasible". The results of the media assessment by teachers obtained a score of 95% with the criterion of "Very Practical". Meanwhile, the results of the students' responses obtained a score of 88% with the criterion of "Very Practical". Based on the results of the implementation, it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes, where the average learning outcome in the pre-test was 35.75 while the average in the post-test was 85.5. Learning using Baamboozle's interactive quiz-based learning media in class V on human respiratory system material was effectively used. This is evident from the average N-Gain score of 78.33 percent in the category of "Highly Effective".
