Abstract

In the world of education, plagiarism can be said to be part of academic work in an institution, one of which is done by many students accidentally or unintentionally. In general, in making theses, students often use the same references, one of the variables is the title of the thesis that has something in common, imitating research methods, and some students even just change the place and subject of research with the same topic. This research is limited to existing problems, while the limitations of the problem in this research are theses that have similar content, have similar references, have similar titles, and this research is only limited to the thesis of Guidance and Counseling students who have completed IS Studies at University 2016-2017 Jambi, the purpose of this research is to find out what types of plagiarism are in the thesis of Guidance and Counseling Students who have completed IS Studies in 2016-2017 University of Jambi. The type of research used was library research, the subject of this research was 20 undergraduate thesis students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Jambi University in 2016-2017 whose thesis had the same title, the data collection methods used by researchers included observation and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been conducted by researchers, checking 20 student thesis Guidance and Counseling Study Program Jambi University in 2016-2017 through the Turnitin application, it can be concluded that only 17 theses can be used as a reference, 6 theses have a moderate Similarity index and 11 theses have a Similarity index total and there is plagiarism in CHAPTER I, CHAPTER II, CHAPTER III, CHAPTER IV and CHAPTER V, based on 4 types of plagiarism namely idea plagiarism, content plagiarism, plagiarism of words, sentences, paragraphs and total plagiarism, dominant students plagiarism in the category of idea plagiarism and plagiarism of words, sentences, and paragraphs

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Cabri 3D software on students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The type of this research is quasi-experimental research. One form of design used is the nonequivalent control group design. The instrument used in this research is an instrument to test the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The results obtained were that after implementing the Cabri application assisted learning in the experimental class, the average value of the pretest scores of student learning outcomes was an average of 75, while the pretest average value of the control class learning outcomes was 50. Posttest scores of student learning outcomes with an average -an average of 80, while the average value of the posttest control class learning outcomes is 72.5. This shows that the use of media assisted by the Cabri application in learning students' understanding of mathematical concepts is higher. Based on the average score of the student learning outcomes test, it can be seen that the experimental class is higher than the control class. This shows that the use of media assisted by the Cabri application in learning cubes and blocks has a significant effect on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in geometric material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant relationship between economic level, parental occupation and geographic location with interest in learning physical education, sports and health during the COVID-19 pandemic at Widiatmika High School. The research method used is correlation. The subjects of this study were all students at SMA Widiatmika. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment technique and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between the level of the economy and interest in learning physical education, sports and health during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between work and interest in learning physical education, sports and health during the covid-19 pandemic. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between geographic location and interest in learning physical education, sports and health during the COVID-19 pandemic. 4) There is a positive and significant relationship between the level of economy, occupation and geographical location with interest in learning physical education, sports and health during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parents' socioeconomic status and interest in learning in class VII MTSS Darul Hasanah. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive and significant relationship between the socio-economic status of parents and learning interest in students in class VII MTSS Darul Hasanah. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with the type of research used is correlational descriptive research. Determination of the research sample is population research because the sample is less than 100. The population in this study is 82 people to obtain the necessary data, so in this study researchers used data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of research at MTsS Darul Hasanah using the calculation of the product moment correlation of the two variables Learning Interest (X) and the Relationship of Parents' Socio-Economic Status (Y). the level of student interest in learning was 96.93% in the high category, the level of socio-economic status of parents was 83.57% in the high category, the level of relationship between socio-economic status of parents and interest in learning was ????ℎi????????????g 0.331> ???????????????????????? 0.284. This shows that there is a relationship between the socio-economic status of parents and students' interest in learning. Abstract

Education is the main foundation of a country. The use of STEM in learning is an effort made so that students can apply 21st century skills. This study aims to examine and explore the application of STEM in learning and its impact on 21st century skills. The method used in this study is a systematic literature study and in accordance with the discussion, namely about STEM and 21st century skills. Based on the results of a systematic review of literature, STEM learning design can be used as an acternative by teachers in carrying out the learning process so that it can meet 21st century skills, namely critical thinking and problem solving, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine whether the PjBL-based physics experiment e-module product is suitable for use by students. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) which refers to the four-D (4D) model which consists of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Feasibility data was taken by utilizing a questionnaire filled in by 2 material validators and 2 media validators. The average value of media validation by validator 1 is 3.841 and validator 2 is 3.300. While the average value of material validation by validator 1 is 3.25 and validator 2 is 3.75. So that with the average value that has been obtained and refers to the range of values <3.25 – 4, it can be concluded that the PjBL-based physics experiment e-module is stated to be very good and suitable for use by students.

Abstract

The increasing number of other radio stations that continue to grow rapidly and continue to compete to provide high quality programs. Radio Cakra Bandung is one of the private radio stations in the city of Bandung, the arrival of Covid-19 in Indonesia in March 2020, Radio Cakra began to feel the impact, namely the instability of the number of listeners. In addition, Radio Cakra Bandung must be able to retain old listeners and reach new listeners to survive in the broadcasting industry which is experiencing a decline in listeners. Since the covid-19 pandemic Radio Cakra Bandung has innovated through digital form in forming PR activities in order to gain loyalty from listeners so that they are able to compete and survive during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of public relations in increasing the loyalty of Radio Cakra Bandung listeners during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory used in this study is the theory of Rusadi Raslan (2016) about the four roles of public relations. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method. As well as data collection techniques and data analysis techniques carried out by conducting in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that of the four roles of PR practitioner Rosady Ruslan (2016), there is one role that has not been carried out by PR Radio Cakra Bandung, namely communication technician. However, other roles such as expert advisor, communication facilitator, and problem solving facilitator have been carried out well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership of Related Parties Transactions with Minority Ownership as Moderators. The object of this research was the Coal Sector Mining Industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2021 period. The population in the study amounted to 23 companies with the sampling method using purposive sampling. The sample numbered 6 sample companies with sample data totaling 42 pooled observation data. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis to test data and hypothesis statements. The results of this study are that minority ownership is able to moderate institutional ownership of RPT so that coal mining companies listed on the IDX are able to maintain RPT efficiency through effective supervision by institutional ownership. Minority ownership is also able to moderate institutional and managerial ownership, RPT efficiency can be maintained through effective supervision by the collaboration of institutional and managerial ownership.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the information literacy lecturers' ability to search for information and to determine how information literacy is used by institutional lecturers to enhance professionalism and competency in the teaching process. This study used a descriptive methodology combined with a qualitative research strategy. The information for this study was gathered by observation, interviews, and a review of the literature. The findings of this study suggest that information literacy educators should continue to advance. The information is sound from the perspective of understanding the necessity of lecturers in educational settings. This is so that they can more effectively fulfill their duty as a lecturer and continue to grow professionally. The ability of informants to retrieve information is still in the early stages of development. An improved ability to search for information is necessary for the advancement of information technologies. The instructor's information use skills are adequate. This is evident in how he or she creates the course modules, syllabi, etc. Overall, the information literacy that instructors in colleges possess is good and simply need little facility development. Because research faculty and librarians have been able to work together to develop a literate generation of information, collaboration amongst the entire campus community also needs to be strengthened.

Abstract

This article is a review of studies on advertising literacy for children. Advertising literacy is the ability to understand and interpret an advertisement. This ability is certainly needed for children considering that advertising is no longer only in traditional media such as television but also in contemporary media which children may use every day. Like in the games on their devices. Advertising literacy studies are still rare in Indonesia, so it is necessary to look at past studies to get an idea of ​​what can be done when conducting studies in this area. Several concepts, examples and experimental methods were carried out for advertising literacy studies as described in this paper.
