Abstract

Character education aims to build character and character by instilling good character values ??in children from elementary school to higher education. The achievement expected by the school with the application of character education is that students are expected to have good character, polite behavior and behavior, and when outside the school environment students still have good character. To realize this, it can be seen from the school regulations that have been prepared in accordance with the school's vision and mission, so that the implementation of character education goes well, then the teacher as a means to provide good habits and motivate children so that children have good and strong character. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya perkembangan era digital industri perfileman tanah air sekarang ini sangatlah mengalami perkembangan pesat menjadi industri kreatif yang cukup menjanjikan. Pada perkembangannya bermunculan karya sastra khususnya novel yang diadaptasi untuk diangkat menjadi karya film. Proses adaptasi novel menjadi film yang merupakan perubahan substansi dari wacana yang dikenal dengan istilah proses ekranisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan proses ekranisasi berupa penciutan, penambahan, ataupun perubahan variasi dari alur cerita Novel ke Film Mimpi Sejuta Dolar karya Alberthiene Endah. (2) mengkaji relefansi penerapan proses ekranisasi terhadap proses pembelajaran sastra di sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan objektif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik baca, menyimak, dokumentasi, dan teknik catat. Hasil dalam penelitian berupa proses penciutan alur ditemukan 59 data, proses penambahan alur terdapat 12 data, sedangkan proses perubahan variasi alur sebanyak 14 data. Dari aspek relevansi terhadap pembelajaran sastra di sekolah, maka hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai penunjang. Proses penciutan alur secara keseluruhan masih wajar, dan penambahan alur dalam film menyebabkan pengisahan melenceng dari jalan cerita yang ada pada novel, sedangkan pada kategori aspek perubahan variasi alur terjadi variasi-variasi antara novel dan film dari segi alur yang tidak membuat pengurangan pada aspek makna yang terdapat di dalamnya. Penerapan hasil penelitian belum bisa diterapkan secara utuh pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), tapi masih relevan jika akan digunakan sebagai bahan penunjang untuk memperkaya wawasan siswa pada materi-materi tertentu pada pembelajaran sastra.

Abstract

In human life, literature has a very vital function. One of these functions is as a place to manifest all human feelings and thoughts. Imagine, literature is a classification of an abstraction. That is, literature is used as a medium in describing things that are abstract in life into something that makes sense. One type of literary work that describes this is drama. In contrast to other literary works, drama has certain advantages that include three dimensions, namely the dimensions of literature, movement, and speech. The script for the drama Sang Foreman by Rahman Arge is a very interesting story to study, which contains many elements of South Sulawesi culture, especially the Bugis-Makassar people. Abstract

In early childhood, literacy is usually done with activities that are fun and attract the attention of students such as playing. The introduction of literacy activities of listening, speaking, reading and writing to children is applied without any coercion on children. At this stage, the introduction of literacy that is appropriate to an early age or its developmental phases is one of the reasons behind this research. Researchers want to know how to apply literacy culture and what are the obstacles faced by teachers to elementary school students at SDN 1 Horongkuli Kab. Kolaka. The type of research used in the form of qualitative research with data obtained based on the activities of students at SDN 1 Horongkuli Kab. Kolaka in applying literacy culture. Data collection techniques in the form of direct observation or observation, interviews, recordings of teachers and students of SDN 1 Horongkuli. Results Based on the research, it was found that the implementation of literacy culture in early childhood, especially at SDN 1 Horongkuli Kab. Kolaka is to cultivate reading activities in class at least 10 minutes before entering learning, reading picture books, guiding children to literacy games, holding speed reading competitions, scheduling visits to the library, and making activities based on daily activities. The obstacles faced are from internal factors, the characteristics of students who are different in receiving learning materials so that there are still some students who are less interested in literacy activities that are applied by the teacher. Furthermore, external factors are the availability of story books that still need to be improved, as well as the lack of participation from parents.

Abstract

This guidance intends to provide guidance to class students of elementary school 1 Lamokato in using the Jarimatika method. This guidance is carried out because it is motivated by the low numeracy literacy of students at elementary school 1 Lamokato. This has an impact on the low ability of students to count. Therefore, guidance is needed for students using a different method from the method used by teachers at elementary school 1 Lamokato. This training was carried out from June to August 2022 at elementary school 1 Lamokato. The methods used in this training are demonstration methods, question and answer, and practice using the Jarimatika method. The students were very enthusiastic during the training. Students are interested in using the Jarimatika method. Students actively ask and answer about the Jarimatika method. Each student practices the method of Jarimatika in front of the class. The result of this training activity is that there is an increase in students' numeracy literacy in this case the ability to count.

Abstract

students to have bad morals, that is, they often say dirty and dirty words or what are commonly called toxic words. This is very unfortunate, The purpose of this research is to analyze the causes of students' pronunciation saying toxic. This research is a qualitative research by analyzing students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Nineteen November University, Kolaka. This research focuses on male students of PBI Study Program class of 2022. Data collection was carried out on campus and boarding houses using data collection techniques in the form of observation or direct observation, recording and interviews. Interview techniques were used to find data on the causes of toxic word pronunciation among students. The results of the study showed several toxic vocabularies, namely: freak, jerk, bastard, damn, idiot, and stupid. The causes for pronouncing the word toxic include: anger, happiness, confusion, unhealthy associations, and mindset. Keywords: Toxic, Student

Abstract

This study has two objectives, namely: 1) to describe the form of directive speech acts in novel broken kite by Mommy; 2) to describe the function of directive speech acts in the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research with a study method or research method on a problem. The data source for this research uses primary and secondary data. The primary data source in this study is the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF and the secondary data source in this study is in the form of reference book articles related to research problems. data collection used in research is the basic techniques of listening, recapitulation, data transcription, and note-taking techniques. The results of the study found 7 directive speech acts in the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF a: asking, inviting, advising, ordering, begging, forbidding, suggesting, and giving permission. The functions of directive speech acts in the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF are: asking, inviting, advising, ordering, begging, suggesting, giving permission.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the information literacy lecturers' ability to search for information and to determine how information literacy is used by institutional lecturers to enhance professionalism and competency in the teaching process. This study used a descriptive methodology combined with a qualitative research strategy. The information for this study was gathered by observation, interviews, and a review of the literature. The findings of this study suggest that information literacy educators should continue to advance. The information is sound from the perspective of understanding the necessity of lecturers in educational settings. This is so that they can more effectively fulfill their duty as a lecturer and continue to grow professionally. The ability of informants to retrieve information is still in the early stages of development. An improved ability to search for information is necessary for the advancement of information technologies. The instructor's information use skills are adequate. This is evident in how he or she creates the course modules, syllabi, etc. Overall, the information literacy that instructors in colleges possess is good and simply need little facility development. Because research faculty and librarians have been able to work together to develop a literate generation of information, collaboration amongst the entire campus community also needs to be strengthened.

Abstract

In the current turbulent era of Society 5.0, the challenges in shaping children's character are increasingly complex. Parenting seminars are one of the media to provide understanding, strategy, and insight to parents regarding the importance of integrating religious values ​​in their children's education. This article explains how parenting seminars can influence participants' knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, implementation, and expectations regarding the formation of religious character. By describing the results of the pretest and post-test, this article illustrates the significant improvement in all of these aspects after attending the seminar. It is hoped that this article can provide insight into the important role of parenting seminars in dealing with the dynamics of children's character education in the modern era which is influenced by technological developments and the values ​​of Society 5.0. Abstract

Kebebasan berpendapat masyarakat di media sosial menjadi alasan mengapa penelitian ini dilakukan. Pola ketergantungan bermedia sosial yang kuat memiliki konsekuensi yang menguntungkan dan merugikan. Pada berbagai platform media sosial yang ada, netizen dapat dengan mudah menyebarkan dan mendapatkan informasi dengan cepat. Akibat yang beragam tersebut, dapat dikaitkan dengan pola reaksi yang berbeda-beda dari masing-masing netizen sebagai pengguna media sosial, seperti tumbuhnya sarkasme yang melanggar norma kesantunan berbahasa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendekripsikan penggunaan bahasa sarkasme atau ungkapan kasar dalam komunikasi dunia maya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini dari komentar netizen di beberapa platform media sosial seperti Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, dan Youtube. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengolah data berupa bahasa sarkasme netizen berdasarkan tujuan penelitian, menyajikan data, menganalisa dan menginterpretasikan hasil yang didapatkan dari pengamatan bentuk bahasa sarkasme yang di screenshot pada komentar foto maupun video yang diunggah. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, bahasa sarkasme masih sering digunakan oleh sebagian netizen sebagai bahan untuk mengejek dan memberikan kata-kata yang pedas kepada orang lain yang mengunggah sesuatu di akun sosial media mereka.
