Abstract

The research aims to produce thematic-based teaching materials local wisdom for fourth grade students at State Elementary School 13 Lonjengan District Establish Landak District, West Kalimantan Province. Types of research is a development research using the ADDIE model with Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation steps. Source quantitative research data in the form of material expert validation results, validation results media experts, and the results of filling out the practicality questionnaire of teaching materials by students and teachers.Qualitative data were obtained from notes, suggestions and comments from validators, students and Teacher. Research instruments in the form of interview guidelines, questionnaires and documentation.The feasibility level of teaching materials is validated by material experts an average of 3.7 with the category "Valid" with a level of feasibility of teaching materials validated to media experts obtaining an average of 4.2 in the category "Very valid”. The validation results by the two validators obtained an average recapitulation result of 3.9 with the "Valid" category so that the teaching material is feasible to be tested. The level of practicality of teaching materials for small-scale trials obtained an average of 4.2 in the "Practical" category and the level of practicality of teaching materials for scale trials large get an average of 4.4 with the category "Very Practical". Research result the practicality of teaching materials by teachers achieves an average of 4.1 in the "Practical" category.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how big the percentage of the ability to manage emotions and concentration in learning, as well as the influence of the ability to manage emotions on the concentration of students in SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. Concentration of learning, namely the ability of students to focus on thoughts and actions during the learning process by setting aside unrelated things. The ability to manage emotions is the ability of individuals to handle their emotions so that they can be expressed appropriately and do not interfere with their activities. This type of research is quantitative with the ex post facto method of data collection techniques, namely using a questionnaire with validity and reliability tests to determine the determination of the instrument. The data analysis technique used Formula C, normality test, linearity test, simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a total sample of 266 students of class X and XI. The findings of this study can be concluded that in general the ability to manage students' emotions includes recognizing emotions, knowing the causes of emotions, being able to find alternative ways of dealing with emotions, being able to determine how to deal with emotions, emotions expressed appropriately are at a moderate percentage (59%), student learning concentration which includes concentrating, paying attention and carrying out learning according to the objectives is at a moderate percentage (57%). The influence between the two variables is classified as quite strong (23.2%). Guidance and counseling teachers should be able to assist students in maintaining and improving their ability to manage their emotions so that student learning concentration can also be even better.

Abstract

Contextually, one of the essences of the ideology and constitution of Indonesia is the existence of democracy within the state system. Then in its development in Indonesia understand the system of constitutional democracy and understand the understanding of constitutionalism in the state. However, at this time constitutional democracy and the notion of constitutionalism adopted by Indonesia are stated by many parties to have not run well, and have problems. Based on the results of the LP3ES survey, democracy in Indonesia is declared to be in decline, with a total of 31 (thirty one) problems in the implementation of democracy in Indonesia, some of which are money politics in general elections, populism and identity politics, political corruption. The research method used in answering the problems in this scientific writing is a Descriptive Qualitative Method with a Phenomenological Research Approach. The technique of collecting data in the preparation of this article is carried out by searching and various data from online search engines in the form of publications of scientific journals, government circulars, newspapers, and other website services that actively discuss topics related to Citizenship Education by realizing constitutional democracy and constitutionalism. in Indonesia. the urgency of civic education to build constitutional democracy and constitutionalism because: first, there is an increasing tendency to be politically illiterate, and citizens do not know how democracy and its institutions work. Second, political apathy which has also increased with the indicator that few citizens are involved in political activities. In this case civics education can play a role as a seed for the constitution of democracy and constitutionalism

Abstract

The goals of this research are to look at the connection between performance and human resource development, compensation, and motivation. Private schools were used for this study. The research sample was taken from 42 private school teacher respondents. Quantitative research is the kind of study being conducted. For this study's data analysis, several types of linear regression were applied. The findings of the study reveal that salary and motivation both have a substantial impact on the performance of teachers in private schools. This is indicated by the human resource development variable. Partly, motivation has a substantial effect on teacher performance in private schools with a significance level of less than 0.05 or 5%, whereas human resource development and compensation have no meaningful impact

Abstract

The learning that is carried out should be fun for students so that it can increase student learning motivation so that it helps improve student learning outcomes. In fact, some teachers prefer to apply conventional learning models. The STAD type cooperative learning model is one of the solutions to overcome this. STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) is the simplest cooperative learning, and is a suitable cooperative learning used to activate students. The result of the application of STAD carried out by the teacher is that STAD can improve learning outcomes for students.The purpose of learning is to achieve the target of mastering the material conveyed by the teacher to students and indicators of achieving this target are student learning outcomes will be good and increase if active interaction occurs in the learning process between the teacher and students. The interaction will arise if there is a feedback from students and good learning must arise from the wishes of the students themselves. This happens when students are happy and do not feel bored with the lesson being delivered.

Abstract

Mild mentally retarded children generally experience academic learning difficulties, because of that the learning program for them is more directed at mastering vocational skills, so that children have the provision to live in society and every year competition activities are always there, one of them is a flower bouquet making contest. This study aims to obtain an overview of the development of a vocational skill learning program for making flower bouquets. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation studies, FGD, and validation. The results of the study show that children with mild mental retardation have the basic ability to make flower bouquets. In the implementation of learning vocational skills to make a bouquet of flowers the teacher makes plans, carries out learning activities, and evaluates. The current form of the program, the meeting is only 1 time with the duration of the students' boring time and the material is less in-depth. The forms of programs in Kembangan are indicators, objectives, materials, media and evaluation. This research is recommended to teachers to be a reference in carrying out learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of individual factors and individual behavior on employee performance at PT. Naga Aries Teknologi Surabaya. The research is aimed to employees of PT. Naga Aries Teknologi. Research respondents amounted to 45 people with the type of research sample selection, namely the sampling method in this study using saturated sampling techniques. Saturated sampling is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. This is often done when the population is relatively small. The research method used is a survey using questionnaire with reference to the Likert scale and type of research is exploratory research. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The data processing stage uses IBM Version 25 Statistical Application Solution (SPSS). The results showed that simultaneously, individual factors and individual behavior simultaneously influence the performance of PT. Naga Aries Teknologi. Abstract

The aims of this study were to find out (1) to test the differences between the Inquiry Method and the conventional method on English Learning Outcomes, (2) To test the differences in learning styles on English Learning Outcomes, and (3) To test the effect of the interaction between the Inquiry Method and the Inquiry Method conventional and learning styles on English Learning Outcomes. This quantitative research uses the experimental method. The data analysis technique in this study was a two-way analysis of variance test using SPSS 25. The research design used was a 2x3 factorial design. Based on the results of the data analysis are: (1) Application of the Inquiry Method and Convention Method with a significance value of less than α <0.05, namely 0.000, so that it can be explained that there are differences in the English Learning Outcomes of class VII students of SMPN 48 Surabaya who are taught using Inquiry and Direct Instruction Methods, (2) Audio, Visual and Kinesthetic Learning Styles of students with a significance value of less than α <0.05, namely 0.000, meaning that there are differences in the English Learning Outcomes of class VII students of SMPN 48 Surabaya, and (3 ) the inquiry interaction method and the convention method with a significant value less than α <0.05, namely 0.001, so that there is an interaction between the inquiry method and the convention method and the Audio, Visual and Kinesthetic Learning Styles on the English Learning Outcomes of Class VII students of SMPN 48 Surabaya. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that using the Inquiry Method and Learning Styles could improve English Learning Outcomes. The implication of this research is that the Inquiry Method can be used as a way to improve English learning outcomes.

Abstract

Advances in technology and information flow have made Indonesian people more open to global knowledge. It is undeniable that the development of the media also plays an active role in changing one's lifestyle, both electronic, print and online media. Judging from today's modern era, social media is not just a medium of communication, but has become part of human lifestyle, especially young people or students. One of the impacts of the advancement of technology with the existence of social media is a shift in language. Language shift is a linguistic phenomenon that sometimes refers to the extinction of a language. Social media is an online media where users can easily participate, share and create content including blogs, social networks and wikis, which are the most frequently used forms of social media by people around the world. 16 Social media is a website-based feature that can form networks. and enable people to interact within a community. On social media, we can carry out various forms of exchange, collaboration, and getting to know each other in the form of visual and audiovisual writing. Examples include Twitter, Facebook, blog, Forsquare, and others. Some of the problems found, researchers need to conduct research and the problem that is used in this study is how social media influences the shift in Indonesian among Pharmacy students at Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University. Social Media as a space for interaction can cause a shift in language, where the average pharmacy student at Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University or other students must understand this better and there is an increase in the knowledge of pharmacy students at Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University, especially regarding the influence of social media on language shift in pharmacy students at Nahdlatul Ulama University Sunan Giri.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is a significant aspect in determining success in classroom learning activities. This research is a literature review that aims to understand the development of MGMP management in an effort to improve teacher professionalism. The results of the study show that the MGMP development management has several basic standards in carrying out its projects, including regulating appropriate project plans so that the objectives of the MGMP program can be identified. Separation is deciding on the constructs of the individuals involved with the MGMP so that each one's obligations or commitments are clear to drive the MGMP program. Development is the stage where there are known substantial exercises related to the MGMP programs that have been prepared. Next is supervision, especially the stage where a program requires control and assessment so that the program runs better. The presence of the MGMP has a very big commitment to increasing the capabilities of educators, especially for the purposes of examining instructors, strengthening learning materials, and strengthening instructor abilities.
