Abstract

In order to better understand how junior high school pupils solve arithmetic issues involving flat sided spaces, this study will examine their mathematical communication abilities. At SMPN 3 Tirtajaya, this research was done. There are five measures of students' ability to communicate mathematically, including the first measure, which links visuals to mathematical ideas, the second measure, which makes conjectures, gathers evidence, and formulates definitions and generalizations, the third measure, which expresses ideas, situations, and mathematical relations with visuals, the fourth measure, which turns everyday events into mathematical situations, and the fifth measure, which explains and creates q. A descriptive qualitative research methodology was used to perform the study on 21 students in class IX. The test asks students to answer five questions regarding how well they can communicate mathematical ideas. The description test method is the method utilized to collect data. According to the data analysis's findings, pupils at SMPN 3 Tirtajaya are classed as having moderate problem-solving skills.

Literature research or literature research is research whose place of study is literature or literature. All Muslim regions speak one language, Arabic, as their official language. However, all cultural expressions were also expressed in Arabic then also non-Arabs began to participate in the building of "culture" and "civilization". The political history of the Islamic world is divided into three periods: first, the classical period (650-1250 AD); second, the Middle Ages (1250-1800 AD) and third, the modern period (1800s). The first period was the "Golden Age" of Islamic history. In the Golden Age it was often used as a reference and exemplary reference. Results and discussion In the economic field, real monetary policy was applied during the reign of the Umayyad Dynasty with printed money by Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan. Abd al-Malik converted Byzantine and Persian currencies used in areas under Muslim rule. Furthermore, in the field of government administration, the change of leadership was arranged from one generation to the next, when Muawiya obliged all his people to declare allegiance to his son Yazid, he made the principle of nepotism the basis for the appointment of the caliph. This shows that Muawiya intended to emulate the Persian and Byzantine monarchies, i.e. the hereditary use of leadership.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether corner puzzle props are useful in enhancing student learning results. The study was conducted through experimental research using a posttest-only control design. The participants of the study were students, with class A being the experimental group and class B as the control group. The data collection method employed in this study was documentation and testing. The results of the analysis of academic performance using corner puzzle props indicated a significant improvement in the average academic performance of the experimental group, which was 69.83, compared to the control group, which was 62.07. The data was analyzed using a difference test (t test) on the right side. The research on academic performance revealed that the t-count was higher than the t-table. This implies that the average academic performance of students in class A (the experimental group) who were taught using corner puzzle props was greater than or equal to that of students who were not taught using corner puzzle props.

Abstract

The research was carried out with quantitative research and quasi-experimental design. This research involved students from SMP Negeri 1 Jorlang Hataran. The sample was 60 students, 30 students from VIII-3 as experimental group, while 30 students from VIII-4 as control group. The classes were selected through purposive sampling. Think Pair Share teaching was employed as independent variable (y), with the dependent variable (x) purportedly resulting from it. Researcher gathered data by conducted pre-test, treatment, and post test. Mean of post test for experimental was 87,11, while control group’s was 47,11. The experimental group had post-test standard deviation of 9,41, while control group’s was 12, 62. The mean differences had standard error of 6.73 using significance level of 5%. It was determined that T-test value (5,94) exceeded T-table value (1,672). Thereby, Ho was rejected, whereas Ha was accepted. Hence, Think-Pair-Share had significant efect on students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

Learning is an interactive process in which a person can acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes, and understanding through instructions or experiences conveyed by educators or from the learning environment itself. This involves the interaction between teachers and students, and students and their surroundings. However, in implementing this learning, it is necessary to understand that each student has different learning style characteristics. One of them is also in the implementation of learning Social Sciences (IPS). To overcome this problem regarding the delivery of these different learning styles, one can use a differentiated approach from internalizing the concept of independent learning which is able to involve students to be independent and free in using their learning styles to acquire knowledge. The method used in this research is literature review or literature review which is obtained by searching for literature sources that are relevant to the research topic. In this case it was found that differentiated learning, one of which is used in social studies learning, is able to create an atmosphere of a learning environment that can enable students to learn according to their own interests and needs. So that through this differentiated learning children can focus on their own potential and skills where the teacher can later facilitate children by fostering and guiding so that children can maximize the potential and skills that exist in them.
