Abstract

The ability to read is one of the most important aspects of language, the introduction of reading skills needs to be stimulated in children from an early age, stimulating children's reading abilities from an early age can help children to recognize letters, add new vocabulary and most importantly can make it easier for children to learn. The Alphabet Fishing game can be a simple game designed to help children aged 5-6 years recognize letters. This study aims to determine the effect of Alphabet Fishing media on the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years at Mawar Putih Kindergarten, Singingi Hilirr District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The type of research used was experimental, using a pre-experimental research design model of one group pretest posttest design, namely research conducted in one group. The data analysis technique used in this study used a t-test using the SPSS Windows Version 25 program. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of using Alphabet Fishing media on the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years in Mawar Putih Kindergarten, Singingi Hilir District. Kuantan Singingi, comparison of the results of the ability test of children before and after the implementation of the experiment by giving treatment in the form of Alphabet Fishing media. The magnitude of the effect is equal to 75,7%, and based on the Normalized Gain assessment criteria it is in the high category.

Abstract

The pupose of this study was to determine the relations between self-concept and the self-confidence og children aged 5-5 years at TK Negeri 1 Rimba Melintang, Rimba Melintang District,Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of research used is correlation research. Population and research sample is 30 children. The steps taken in this correlation research are: identifying potentialsand problems, gathering information, determining data collection methods, collection, data analysis, and concluding data. Data collection technique in this study is by using observation sheets. The result of the study show that self-concept and self-confidence among young children have a positive relationship between sel-concept and self-confidence in children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri 1 Rimba Melintang, Rimba Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Meaning that if a child has a high self-cocncept then it is followed by a high self-confidence as well, or vice versa. The result of the study show that the coefficient of determination is 54,9%, so it can be seen that self-concept contributes 54,9% to children’s self-confidence.

Abstract

With the COVID-19 pandemic, universities in Bojonegoro Regency, especially Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University, are conducting online lectures. In the implementation of learning, it is different from conventional lectures so that the use of learning models determines the effectiveness of online lectures during the COVID-19 period. This study examines the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students' learning models through approaches to the use of learning media in online lectures, learning communication models, learning styles, and the effectiveness of online lectures. This research is specifically for Informatics Engineering students whose learning is not only limited to delivering material but needs to be carried out in practicum both in the laboratory and in the field. Along with the online learning process, some material that should have been carried out by research had to not be carried out. Given these obstacles, student perceptions regarding the effectiveness of online lectures that lead to learning models with learning media approaches, communication models, learning styles among Informatics Engineering students in Bojonegoro Regency determine the success of this learning process. With this, researchers examine the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students towards online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted to determine student perceptions of online learning. This research uses Descriptive Analysis, namely to examine the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students regarding online learning models during the COVID-19 pandemic. Which online learning model can be known through several approaches, such as online learning media, learning communication models, learning styles and the effectiveness of online learning. Data obtained from observations in the form of giving online questionnaires. The samples involved were Informatics Engineering students at Nahdlatul Ulama University Sunan Giri Bojonegoro as respondents in this study. The output targeted in this study is Sinta 4 indexed National Journal Publications with research TKT 3.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the learning outcomes of students who are taught statistics using the DI, TGT, or PBL models. Class VIII A is taught using the TGT cooperative learning model, Class VIII B is taught using the PBL cooperative learning model, and Class VIII C is taught using the DI cooperative learning model. One-way analysis of variance (One-Way Analysis of Variance) is the research design used. After the treatment, the results of the post-test measurement of student learning outcomes were used to compile data. The research method used is quasi-experimental. Based on the ANOVA hypothesis test with a significance level of 0.05, Fcount = 4.3068056 > Ftable = 3.150, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, the average learning outcomes of students taught by the DI model, suitable TGT type, and PBL differ. So that additional tests can be carried out using the BNT test and the results obtained. The average learning outcomes of students taught using the DI model were significantly lower than those taught using the TGT model (mean = 83.13636). The average learning outcomes of students taught by the DI model (mean = 73.19047) are different from those of students taught by the PBL learning model (mean = 82.1429), while the average learning outcomes of students taught by cooperative learning type TGT and PBL are identical.

Abstract

This literature review examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the future of English language teaching and learning. The rapid advancement of AI technologies has brought significant changes to various fields, including education. In the context of English language education, AI has been integrated into teaching and assessment practices to enhance learning outcomes and instructional experiences. This review explores the effectiveness of AI tools, such as intelligent tutoring systems and chatbots, in improving language proficiency and learner engagement. It also examines AI-driven language assessment methods, including automated scoring systems and speech recognition technology. The pedagogical implications, challenges, and ethical considerations associated with the integration of AI in language education are discussed. The role of teachers in AI-driven classrooms and the potential for learner autonomy are highlighted. Future directions for research and the need to address the impact of AI on learners from diverse backgrounds are identified. The findings underscore the potential benefits of AI in English language teaching and learning, while emphasizing the importance of responsible implementation and ongoing evaluation to ensure ethical and equitable practices.

Abstract

In learning Arabic there are four abilities that must be learned and mastered by students, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. To master these four skills, one of the efforts that must be taken is to increase the acquisition of mufradat or Arabic vocabulary, because this will greatly help the learning outcomes of the four Arabic language skills. In obtaining the mufradat, it is necessary to have an appropriate learning model so that students are able to properly absorb the mufrada conveyed by the teacher. One way is to use the Make A Match model which is a fun learning model in understanding mufradat. Based on the background that the author describes, the problem that the author choose to be the focus of this research, namely How to Apply the Make A Match Model in Learning Arabic Mufradat Class VIIA at MTs Muhammadiyah 09 Purbalingga. This study aims to find out and analyze how to apply the Make A Match model in learning Arabic mufradat at MTs Muhammadiyah 09 Purbalingga.This research is a type of field research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative in nature with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data analysis that the author did through three stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that mufrodat learning at MTs Muhammadiyah 09 Purbalingga, teachers carry out learning in three stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Then in carrying out mufradat learning the teacher uses the Make A Match model to help students understand and memorize the given mufradat. By using this model, create a fun learning atmosphere and make students more active when participating in learning activities.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is entering an era of globalization that has affected human life. With the advancement of science and technology has a profound impact on human life in various aspects, ranging from dress code, moral slumps, lack of awareness and practice of the nation's generation, namely the younger generation of the values ​​of the teachings of Islam in daily life. Religious programs in the world of education, especially in Indonesia, especially in the madrasa environment is not something new. Therefore, schools must instill religious values ​​in schools through various activities such as extracurricular activities that can support religious programs. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the development of religious programs through 7th grade extracurricular activities at Al - Ikhsan Beji Kedungbanteng Banyumas Regency? This study aims to provide an overview of the development of religious programs through extracurricular activities in MTs Al - Ikhsan Beji, Kedungbanteng District, Banyumas Regency, especially for class VII. Data collection techniques used were interview, observation and documentation techniques. Researcher's data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion dra.The results of the study showed that the development of religious programs through extracurricular activities in MTs Al-Ikhsan Beji Kedungbanteng Banyumas Regency contained extracurricular hadroh, calligraphy, MTQ and BTA. In addition, there are other activities such as midday prayers and reading Asmaul Husna before the students start the lesson. With this program it is expected to support religious programs, especially extracurricular activities in this madrasa.

Abstract

The type of research used in this study was classroom action research, while the background of the problem in this study was that children's science abilities were still lacking and low in group A1 at Pembina State Kindergarten, Mojokerto City. The purpose of this study was to improve children's science skills through experimental methods in group A at Pembina State Kindergarten, Mojokerto City. The research method used is the PTK design which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles with four meetings. Subjects in this study consisted of 15 children. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation.The results showed that in the first cycle the results of the child's scientific ability through the experimental method were 52.9%. This shows that this classroom action research has not been successful. So it requires action again in cycle II. The results of the research in cycle II showed that children's scientific abilities increased by 76.8%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the experimental method can improve the scientific ability of group A children in TK Negeri Pembina Kota Mojokerto.

Abstract

This study examines several children's songs by Pak Kasur regarding aspects of independent character for early childhood. The purpose of this study was to find and describe the value of independent characters contained in the lyrics of children's songs by Pak Kasur, and to find out how to teach singing Pak Kasur's songs as independent character development in early childhood. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with the type of library research. The researcher examines and analyzes the contents of the lyrics of several children's songs by Pak Kasur as a source of data related to aspects of the independent character of early childhood. The results of this study indicate that the cultivation of independent character values ​​for early childhood can be done through the media of children's songs, in this case the songs by Pak Kasur. The results of the implementation of the introduction of Pak Kasur's children's songs can be seen from the children's ability to serve their own needs.

Abstract

This research is a field research (field research). While the research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity technique uses triangulation. This study describes: (1) planning a role-playing method in social studies learning; (2) implementation of role playing method in social studies learning; (3) evaluation of role playing methods in social studies learning; (4) the strengths and weaknesses of the role-playing method; and (5) analysis of the application of role-playing methods in social studies learning at MI Muhammadiyah Bandingan, Kejobong District, Purbalingga Regency. The results showed: (1) Before implementing the role-playing method in social studies learning, the classroom teacher prepared lesson plans, media/equipment to be used, evaluation and appropriate strategies, and prepared story scenarios. (2) The initial activity in the implementation of the role playing method is carried out by providing motivation and conveying the material to be discussed and the learning method to be used. Entering the core activity, the teacher begins to implement the previously prepared method. The final activity of learning is carried out by carrying out activities of drawing conclusions and giving assignments. (3) Evaluation activities in the role playing method are carried out by assessing how students play the characters in the scenario. In addition, the teacher also gave a written test. (4) The advantages of the role playing method make it easier for students to understand the material, the weakness of the role playing method is that not all students have the ability to play characters according to the material (5) The application of the role playing method in social studies learning at MI Muhammadiyah Comparative has a positive impact on students and teachers . In addition, there are also negative impacts, including if students are not prepared properly there is a possibility that they will not do it seriously and are less than optimal, some children who do not participate in role playing become less active.
