Abstract

Learning difficulties experienced by students can certainly be a great task for a teacher who is entrusted with the responsibility for the students. Learning activities do not always run smoothly and as desired, sometimes they run smoothly or even very obstructed in various situations and conditions. Obstacles and constraints that occur are not only experienced by students as recipients of material but also by educators or teachers who inevitably feel some obstacles in presenting the material. The purpose of this study is for teachers to be able to overcome various obstacles and barriers felt during the learning process. In this study, the author examines the efforts of Akidah Akhlak teachers in developing Akidah Akhlak learning modules in order to create an effective and conducive learning environment. This research uses a literature review and qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results of this scientific study are that there are several efforts by Akidah Akhlak teachers in developing Akidah Akhlak learning modules, namely by developing technology-based teaching materials, presenting material as interesting as possible by utilizing the use of PPT or displaying short videos related to the material and by using a group approach such as discussing material so that students can have a deeper understanding and mastery of the material. This is done by following various IPTEK training and holding several seminars and talk shows.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of teacher application in improving student learning outcomes in biology learning; and want to prove that the student team achievment division (STAD) learning model can improve learning outcomes on the concept of the digestive system in humans. This study uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative descriptive type. Through this study, the author seeks to take the steps of data collection, classification, data analysis, making conclusions with the aim of making an objective picture of a situation. The results showed that in the learning process so that students can interact and cooperate between students, the formation of small groups is very suitable for the development of grade VIII.4 students; Furthermore, to improve Biology learning outcomes, teachers can use several special learning models for grade VIII.4 SMP Negeri 11 Kota Serang with a cooperative approach of the student team achievment division (STAD) type.

Abstract

This study examines whether there are differences in academic hardiness between Indonesia Open University students who join Pokjar and those who do not join Pokjar. Pokjar is an abbreviation of “study group” which consists of a group of students and is managed by several administrators. Students who choose to take distance learning are scattered in different areas and do not meet each other in the same class. When problems occur related to the learning process, students ask questions and seek information through existing communication channels. Pokjar is a group of students who build commitment and mutual agreement to help each other and support each other smoothly and successfully study at the Indonesia Open University with or without the facilities of other parties. Pokjar management is needed to help provide administrative services and information about the Open University to students who need it. In the perspective of open and distance education, Pokjar can be positioned as a form of social support where students can convey all their problems to Pokjar, and Pokjar will help solve these problems to the University. This study uses an academic hardiness questionnaire which was compiled based on aspects of academic toughness by Benishek (2004) and modified by the researcher. The research sample was 705 Open University students from various study programs. After the difference test was conducted, it was found that there was a significant difference between students who attended Pokjar and students who did not take Pokjar. The average academic toughness score of students who joined Pokjar (Mean = 144.16) was higher than students who did not join Pokjar (Mean = 139.44). Research on social support for academic hardiness is often done, a new finding in this study is that in distance learning, social support can come from Pokjar. We carried out further investigations using FGDs and deep interviews to find out what kind of social support we received from the Pokjar. The type of social support felt by students when they joined the Pokjar was in the form of companionship support, namely support that includes the availability of groups to spend time together. This support causes a person to feel that he is part of a group where members can share with each other.

Abstract

A strong school-community partnership is the foundation for realizing quality education. This colaboration will benefit students, teaching staff, and the wider community. This research aims to learn more about the process, purpose and benefits of community and school collaboration. With a literature approach, this research uses qualitative methods. As a result, to achieve its goals and vision and mission, the school needs a good working relationship with the community. Harmonized school and community collaboration will provide benefits to the community, especially parents. School perfomance determines the level of community trust the school. The community will feel the need to involve themselves in school programs, when all data and information from the school has been delivered and can be understood by the community as a whole. This is obtained through the administrative process of a good and harmonius working relationship

Abstract

E-learning is one of the innovations in education that is widely used. The quality of E-learning greatly influences the quality of learning. This article aims to describe good e-learning criteria for high school/MA online learning according to the Quality Matters Rubric (QMR) K-12 standard. The research was conducted using the library research method with content analysis data analysis techniques. The results show that good E-learning for learning based on QMR must meet certain specified standards. This standard is divided into 8 general standards: general description & introduction, objectives and competencies, assessment & measurement, teaching materials, learning activities & student interaction, technology, student & teacher support, and accessibility and usability. General standards are divided into several special standards that explain in more detail related to general standards.

Abstract

Poverty is faced by almost all countries in the world. Poverty is the inability of a person to meet basic needs. In calculating the SDGs poverty is placed in a multidimensional framework, namely looking at poverty from various dimensions and looking at the causes of poverty from various sides, which is set forth in SDGs 1 "No Poverty" with the vision of eliminating poverty in all its forms everywhere. The SDGs aim to eliminate poverty in all its forms wherever growth is slow, especially in the Southeast Asia region. Indonesia is ranked 5th in Southeast Asia with an achievement score of 69.16%, the calculation of poverty in Indonesia is not in line with SDGs 1 goals because it only emphasizes the monetary dimension. This study used data from 34 provinces in Indonesia for the 2015-2018 period to see the determinants of multidimensional poverty in Indonesia. This study shows that 1) The level of completion of high school education has a significant positive effect on multidimensional poverty in Indonesia, 2) Early marriage has no significant effect on multidimensional poverty in Indonesia, 3) Slums have a significant positive effect on multidimensional poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the application of thematic learning using a scientific approach in class V B of SDN 21 West Pontianak, starting from designing a thematic learning implementation plan with a scientific approach, then the implementation of thematic learning with a scientific approach and the obstacles faced by teachers in carrying out thematic learning with a scientific approach scientific. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative methods. The source of the data in this study was the class V B teacher at SDN 21 West Pontianak with the resulting data being the result of observing the lesson plan, the result of observing the implementation of the lesson and the results of interviews with the teacher. The results of the study show that the plan for implementing thematic learning with a scientific approach that has been made by the teacher still has deficiencies, namely in the learning objectives section because it is not appropriate and does not include existing competency achievement indicators and is not in accordance with the ABCD formula, then remedial and enrichment activities have not been planned properly, then the core learning activities in the reasoning section are still not well planned. In the implementation of thematic learning with a scientific approach carried out by the teacher, it still tends to be in one direction, reasoning activities have also not been carried out properly, the obstacles faced by the teacher are the limited facilities available in the teacher's school, the difficulty in planning reasoning activities and increasing the curiosity of students because it is based on interviews and observations made by students look passive and less active in participating in the learning process.

Abstract

This study means to look at how to foster authoritative culture in an association or in instructive foundations for the objectives and goals to be accomplished.
